Insecure (Skinny)

A big thank you to everyone who submitted their insecurities on my last authors note, I appreciate it so much! For these two stories, I won't be adding smut, just some fluff I guess and Erik is gonna be a softie again, sort of. Enjoy!

Relationship: Erik x Skinny Reader

"Girl, just go for it!" Mackenzie, your best friend encouraged you, as you both sat at her island counter looking up auditions for music videos.

"I don't know, what are the chances of me even getting in?" You stared at the advertisement.

"Okay, but get this: He's your favourite rapper and your chances decrease if you don't try."

"But the girls in his videos are always thick and I'm not thick at all. Why don't you do it? You're thick."

"Because I got a nine to five and I think he's corny as hell."

You sighed, "Why can't we just trade bodies."

Mackenzie laughed with an eyebrow raised, "Girl stop, you're fine just the way you are. Also, I'm not his kind of thick either, he likes them hour glass girls."

You were about to click away from the ad and look for another audition until Mackenzie's hand stopped you.

"Bitch, what are you doing?"

"You proved my point."

"But I never said don't try. I will drag you to the audition my damn self." Her threats were never to be taken lightly.

One time you were in Mackenzie's car with her and her son, Jeremy, and she found out he was bullying one of the kids. She said,"I will make you apologize to him in front of the entire school if I have to and then you gonna buy him lunch." She did just that, but she left out the spankings because the school would likely call CPS on her. At least Jeremy never bullied again.

"Alright, fine." Before proceeding you read the different descriptions for the background extras which consisted of either being in a pool, a club or a background dancer. You clicked onto the form, filled out your information and printed it out.

"See, was that so hard?"

You rolled your eyes, "I'm still nervous."

"You'll be fine, sis. Relax. I'll send my prayers and blessings your way."

"Thanks, Kenzie."

A month passed and it was finally time to audition. The drive there was very nerve wracking, your palms sweaty against the steering wheel. Sure you were confident in your ability to perform, you had enough acting and dance experience. You've also been an extra in a few TV shows and music videos before, but this one in particular had you taking deep breaths.

The waiting room was packed with different variations of thick females. They all had similar figures; big breasts, a tiny waist, a huge bum and big thighs. Their faces were coated in makeup, and lips plumped up. Despite them wearing revealing clothing, you felt underdressed. Your outfit was pretty simple, a ruffled sleeveless peach blouse, black dress pants and black flats. Your hair was slicked back into a bun with a part on the left side, and your makeup very light; eye lashes, eyeliner, clear lips gloss and a little bit of Fenty highlighter on your cheekbones.

You decided to sit down in a corner by yourself, away from the other girls. Just looking at them made you feel self conscious. They were all on their phones taking pictures and bragging to their friends about how they were going to secure their spot.

When you told your friends that you were going to audition for a role in his music video they laughed at you.

"You are way too skinny to audition."

"He would never date a skinny girl."

"He likes curvy girls."

"You don't even fit the role."

"How are you a fan? All his music videos have thick women in them, your bony self won't make it."

To say those words hurt coming from people you've considered friends was hurtful would be an understatement. Your "friends", besides Mackenzie, were not your go-to's when it came to encouragement. They belittled you, since high school. Even some of your family members would always question why you were so skinny. It wasn't like you were unhealthy, you just had a fast metabolism.

The worst was when people questioned your size and your race.

"How are you so skinny when you're black?"

"Aren't black girls suppose to be thick?"

"You're probably not fully black if you're so thin."

At first you believed them, but when does your race and size have anything to do with each other? It is just how you are.

"Alright ladies," A woman with long dreads fixed into a bun came out of the audition room with a clipboard, "We will be starting the auditions right away, so take a deep breath and give it your best. Can I get Ashley Sivola first please?"

A blonde haired girl sprung up from her chair. You stared at her lips, cringing in the process. Which ever doctor gave her that injection was foul, she probably paid thousands for those lips. It looked like she got stung by a bunch of bees.

Moments passed, the other girls continued to fix their appearances, practice their parts or routines for whatever part they were going for. A few who practiced their struts, adding a lot of hip action, and power in their steps to make their breasts and booties jiggle in the process. There were times where you wished you could do that, and now would be a prime example.

Oh Lord, why did you give me this metabolism? You sighed continued to watch the other girls.

The girl, Ashely, burst out of the room with the brightest look on her face, "Oh my God! He's in there!" She squealed.

"What!?"

"Who?!"

"Are you serious?!"

Everyones attention was fixed onto the swollen lipped blonde.

"Yes, oh my gosh! He was like not really paying attention, I guess to not make anyone nervous, but oh my God!!!"

All the ladies started freaking out and conversed amongst themselves, you were sweating even more, your stomach churned and your nerves peaked.

The dread headed lady came out and called another girl into the audition room and it went as such for another hour until you were finally called in.

You took a deep breath and proceeded towards the audition room. On the way, one of the girls quietly commented with a laugh, "She's auditioning?"

And another replied, "Skinny ho's always think they got it all."

You narrowed your eyes at them and scoffed as you walked by. You weren't gonna let some plastic barbies ruin your day or audition, you built up a wall of confidence around you and no one could tear it down.

You walked into the room, eyes downcast looking for the X to stand on. As soon as you found it, you looked up and your eyes immediately met with his dark brown ones. To avoid panicking, you averted your eyes and looked at the casting director. There were two other people in the room as well.

"Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to meet all of you." You gave them your most confident voice, despite his eyes boring into your face.

"Hi, same to you. So tell us a little about yourself and why did you chose to audition?"

"Well, I'm actually a huge fan of Killmonger." You smiled at him quickly, as he was still staring so intensely at you, "And also I have experience with both acting and dancing. I've been in a few TV shows as an extra and music videos, but never a rap music video so I wanted to test something new." While you were talking, one of the assistants whispered into the casting directors ear.

"Oh..." She gave you a nervous look, "We do appreciate your interest but, I'm sorry to inform you that you don't fit the requirements for this role." The casting director pulled out a paper, identical to the one you saw online.

Your heart stopped, "I-I'm sorry?"

"You don't fit the description, love."

"But online there were no requirements, it just said that we had to be shorter than him and within the age range."

"Here, take a look." She held the paper out and you took it, reading over it. There it was, the physical description... Curvy women preferred.

"We would've loved to have you, you're very beautiful. But, maybe you were going to get some work done before filming?" Her question seemed to be a suggestion.

"Oh absolutely not..." You shook your head. Get plastic surgery? No way in hell. "...Well, thank you for having me anyway." You quickly left the audition room without another word, and raced to your car. You dialled Mackenzie and told her you needed a drink.

"So how did it go?" She asked, taking a sip of her Corona.

"I bombed it..."

"What the hell, how?"

"I didn't fit the description..."

"What? There was no description."

"There was, and I told you, it was meant for thick girls." You held your face in your hands. "All those girls looked like they got work done by them doctors on that TV show..."

Mackenzie snorted and put her glass down.

"Hey miss, what drink can I get for you tonight?" The bartender asked.

"She'll take two shots of vodka." Mackenzie said for you and he went to pouring your drinks.

"What if I have to get a regular job, then I'll have to tell my mom she was right."

"Girl please, you really gone let one audition fuck up the rest of your career?"

"I was so embarrassed." The bartender slipped you your shots and you thanked him before downing them both, "Plus, he was in the room too, staring at me hella hard. He was probably wondering why the hell this twig ass bitch was even auditioning in the first place."

"Hold on bitch, he was there?!"

"Yeah."

"And you didn't get him to sign your titty like you always say you would."

"I was too nervous, and besides I wasn't even in there for long."

"That's the least you could've done."

"I guess..."

"But it don't matter, everything always happens for a reason."

You sighed, and ordered another round.

Mackenzie invited you to stay at her place for the weekend.

"You met Killmonger!?" Jeremy enthused. "What's he like?"

"I didn't personally meet him, kiddo." You patted the twelve year old's head.

"Aw man, well if you do meet him again, tell him Jeremy Ovilo is his biggest fan!"

"What the hell are you doing listening to that music anyway?" Mackenzie inquired with the most puzzled expression on her face.

"Dad bought me his recent album for my birthday." He showed off the playlist on his iPod.

You could hear Mackenzie grumble under her breath, "Delete it. Your dumbass father don't know what's good for you."

"But mooooommmmm, it's just music."

"Boy, what the hell did I just say."

"Jeremy, let me see it for a second." You held your hand out and he placed the iPod in your palm. "It's all good Kenzie, it's the clean version." You gave Jeremy a little wink and his eyes brightened up. Of course it wasn't clean, Killmonger was very raw with his words and he never released a "clean" song yet, but they were all worth listening to. He rapped about a range of things; from his childhood, to police brutality, to the corrupt system, to more raunchier things like sex, drugs and strip clubs. But in this day and age, no one was safe from the reality of the world.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah." You both said at the same time.

"Fine..." She glared at both of you, "Make sure you go and do your homework."

"Okay! Thanks, Aunty (y/n)." He gave you a hug before running off to his room.

"You still mad at Tyrese?" You asked as Mackenzie prepared dinner.

"No. I just hate when he does shit like that. Sure we're not together, but we have to come to equal grounds on our kid."

"I get what you mean, but Jeremy is Tyrese's first kid, right?"

"As far as I'm concerned, yes, but he stays cheating." She sassed while stabbing a cucumber.

"Damn, chill." You laughed, "Look, Jeremy is a good kid. You're doing a great job as a single mother, you got this. No matter what Tyrese does, Jeremy still has you. He respects and loves you, and that's all that you need."

"Thanks, girl."

Two weeks had gone by and you were currently at your place, looking for another audition when your phone began to ring.

Unknown Caller.

You let it ring because you didn't usually pick up unknown numbers, but by the fourth time they tried to call you answered, figuring that it's probably someone you know.

"Hello?"

"Hi, is this (y/n) (l/n)?" The person asked, it sounded like a female.

"This is she."

"Great, so I'm actually Killmonger's manager and I have a special request for you."

You stopped everything you were doing, unable to respond. A few silent moments passed.

"Hello, are you still there?"

"Uh yeah, I am... How did you get my number?"

"The audition you were at a couple weeks back, we have your information."

"Alright," Even though that's a little creepy, "So, what's up?"

"You auditioned to be one of the backup dancers, but you got rejected because you didn't fit the description. But, Killmonger personally requested a role for you."

Your eyes widened, "Um... What role?"

"The girlfriend role. Now we know that we put an emphasis on the physical appearance for this role, but he said he specifically wanted you. So what do you say?"

"I- uhhh..."

"Oh, I should just mention he doesn't take no for an answer, that's why I kinda blew up your phone."

Killmonger specifically requested that you be his girlfriend in this shoot?! No way!

Another week passed and you were being chauffeured to the set. You found out that a lot of the girls there auditioned to take on the Girlfriend role, but were rejected as a result...

Incoming voicemail from Mackenzie: "Good luck babe! See I knew you would get it, you too cute to go unnoticed even if you turn sideways and you disappear." She started laughing as you rolled your eyes, "I'm kidding girl, I love you so much and show em skinny girls got this!" Just before the voicemail ended, Jeremy screamed in the background, "Tell him I said hi!" You chuckled and put your phone away.

As soon as the chauffeur pulled into the parking lot, your door was opened right away and you were being pulled towards the dressing area. It was too hectic to even realize what was going on. Your hair and makeup were being done at the same time, then you were quickly dressed into a red long slim fitting sundress and red bottoms with a few gold accessories. Once that was finished, you were placed into a room with a few other women who were stretching. They were in gold crop tops and fringed booty shorts.

They stared at you, some narrowing their eyes, and others scoffing in the process.

"Hold up, wait. You're acting as Killmonger's girl? But you skinny as hell." She laughed. "Who's shit you slopped to get this position?"

"No one, the fuck?" You snapped and walked away.

Another girl walked in with a lot of attitude, you felt the whole aura of the room change. Immediately her eyes locked with yours, "So you the bitch that stole my role."

"Excuse me?"

"They really chose a damn toothpick over me." She cackled, "Nah, they was smoking that shit."

"At least I'm all natural." Your placed your hands on your hips.

"Bitch please, I'm natural too. Fuck outta here." She fanned the air.

"Really, because every time you move nothing shakes. Did your doctor give your the wrong injections? Plastic bitches always wanna start shit for no reason. I deserve this role just like any of you."

"Keep talking, I dare you." She threatened, the other girls started ooing while watching the both of you go back and forth. This job had taught you to stand up for yourself no matter what, there would always be someone who thinks that they're better or more qualified for a certain position.

"Oh I almost forgot, he asked me personally to be his girl." You cockily smirked with a shrug.

Her eyes widened and she started walking towards you with the intentions to attack, but she stopped immediately and gasped. You narrowed your eyes at her, wondering what the change of heart was, and all the other girls had the same expression too.

"What, you sca-" You were about to tease until you felt a warm pair of arms wrap around your torso.

"Whoa, ladies what is going on here?" His smooth voice travelled into your ear. Your heart rate increased and you froze, eyes wide just like the others.

"Hey, Killmonger!" They all squealed.

"Wassup?"

You still couldn't speak, your back was pressed against him and he was really holding you flush against his chest, you could feel his keloids underneath his black Supreme shirt.

One of the dance choreographers walked in and called all of the dancers to learn the routine for this specific scene and Killmonger had you all to himself.

He finally let you go "Aye, you don't got a voice all of a sudden?"

"O-oh, um. I don't know what to say."

He smiled, giving you a close up of his canines. You were still trying to process this, you were really conversing with your favourite rapper and you were about to act as his girlfriend in this music video. You always thought he was cute, but he was better looking in person, sexy even.

"So, why you ain't audition for this role instead?" He asked.

"Because you wanted specifically a girl with an unrealistic body shape." You replied cheekily.

"Huh? Oh." He shook his head with a chuckle, "I'm not Drake, I don't like all my girls BBW."

You giggled at his statement, "So why are you always surrounded by them? All of your videos."

"Ask my damn producers and shit. You know, it's the whole rapper persona. Money, drugs, women, sex, all that shit."

"So you don't appeal to any of those?"

"Well..."

"Right, just as I thought. You're just like the rest." You averted your attention away from him, watching the girls learn the steps of the routine. The same one you argued with was eyeing you down, she appeared to be the lead dancer.

"But I talk about more shit than just that."

"Mhm."

"You're my fan, you should know that."

"I do, I never said you didn't. So anyway, what are we doing today?"

"I think it's the sex scene."

Your head snapped in his direction, "The what?"

Killmonger bursted out laughing, "What? You my girl, of course I'm gonna get up in them guts."

Your eyes widened, face heated up. Did he really just say that?

"Your facial expressions are hilarious." He was still laughing, and you were still flushed.

"How you gone say something crazy like that?"

"What, girls usually fall at my feet when I talk like that."

"Well I'm not your average girl."

"I know, that's why I chose you." He gave you a wink as his phone began to buzz. "Shit, I gotta go film this scene, but imma be back."

"Okay, see ya." You waved him as he left.

"Alright so you stand here, and when I say action, you walk past. Can you add a little strut to your step?" The director asked and you nodded. "Great, so you're gonna walk past the dancers and Killmonger will come in and he's gonna try to get your attention, but you keep walking by. Maybe give him a little look over the shoulder."

You got into your positions, Killmonger on the opposite end staring directly at you. He made a funny face that made you giggle as the director yelled "ACTION!"

You nailed all of the scenes, but the biggest one was to come. The dreaded bedroom scene that majority of women would be all over, but you weren't use to anything like that. Especially not with a major icon such as Killmonger.

It was day thirteen of filming and you were doing your best to work off your nerves for this next scene. Killmonger, or Erik as he told you to call him, had helped you a lot over the course of this shoot. He assured you that you were doing fine, even though the other women were doing their best to get his attention by putting you down in the process.

His song was about his past temptations, dealing with women and the whole music video reflected it. Another set of women were used for the bedroom scene, they were dressed in lingerie and heels. In this scene, Erik laid down in the centre of the bed with the women feeling up on him, similar to Jaquees', B.E.D. for a visual.

You too were dressed in lingerie. But they gave you a matching robe which didn't close, so it didn't really do anything. You stared at your body in the mirror for a very long time. Even though Erik assured you he didn't care about size, you were surrounded by a bunch of curvy women for almost two weeks, of course you would start to feel self conscious. You wished for a little bit more meat, in your chest, thigh and booty area.

The girls always had some snarky comment to say, but if Erik was there he would shut it down quick. But when he wasn't, which was often due to him being in ninety percent of the shots, you had to defend yourself or just ignore it.

The girls had finally walked out of the room talking about how much fun it was to have Erik's hands caress their skin.

"You think he wants to try the real thing?" One of them asked.

"I mean yeah, did you see the way he was looking at me?" Another said.

"Girl, nobody was looking for you. His eyes were totally on me."

You stared at them bickering about who Erik wanted more. Obviously none of them.

"(Y/n), you're in." One of the assistants called to you.

Suddenly all of your nerves spiked again.

Out of all your outfits, this one was the most revealing. The pool scene gave you more coverup than this. You were so nervous to let him see you like this, and very close to opting out until they said he was coming back from his water break.

He walked in the room, shirtless and only in a pair of shorts. Your eyes were glued onto his frame and his were stuck on yours too. Your could hear him suck his breath in and whisper something, the annoyance in his face instantly disappearing.

"Damn." He said walking up to you and pulled you close with one hand. "All this for me?" You could smell the cheap perfume the other girls had on all over him.

You grinned and turned away as the director told you to get into your places.

"Okay, so we don't want this to mock Future's video with Blac Chyna... Just imagine you two are all alone, what would you do?"

Erik smirked, "Y'all want us to make a porn?"

Your eyes widened and you screamed no while shaking your head and he laughed.

"We're just asking for some romance. This is your girlfriend, not a hooker."

"Oh, aight." He rubbed his hands together and sat down on the bed, his hands open for you to come to him.

"Just pretend that we're not here, but don't get too carried away." The director said to you and you shook off your nerves and imagined if Erik was just a normal guy and not your favourite rapper. "Action!"

The music started playing in the background and Erik started to lip sync his lyrics. You loved this part of the song, it showed a softer side of the ferocious Killmonger.

I always wondered whether it was a crime

Sleeping around and fucking all the time

But you showed me love

That's how I knew that it had to be you

He stared so intensely into your eyes, just like when you first met him.

You started out by sitting on his lap which transitioned into him lying on his back and you hovering over him. Your hands danced across each other's bodies. He caressed you so gently, handling your slender frame with care. He easily flipped you onto your back, placing kisses all over your body.

You drowned the music out, enjoying this entire experience. It felt so real, and you were sure it was believable. You were so lost in it all that you hadn't noticed his lips getting closer until they finally pressed against yours. The kiss was heated, passionate and full of love. It was so genuine, and you couldn't believe you were making out with your favourite rapper. It was the best kiss you've ever experienced, even if it was just acting.

"Cut!"

Erik pulled away, and licked his lips with a smirk.

"I had to stop you both right there. That was perfect, it really felt like a true relationship. We just have to get different angles and I think we're good. This could be done in a day." The director gushed.

"Oh, nah..." Erik said under his breath. You wondered what he meant.

"Alright, take five everybody." Everyone filled out of the room.

Erik gave you a smirk, "Promise to keep a secret?"

"What secret?" Your heart was still racing after the experience.

He went to the camera and pulled something out.

"Erik, what are you doing?!" You whisper-yelled.

"Did you really want that scene to be shot in one go?"

You stared at him dumbfounded.

"I know you was feeling it, that was not acting."

He was right, you were so lost in the moment that you forgot it was all just for his music video.

Five minutes later, the director came back in to check the footage, and let's just say you had to redo the scene a few times.

But it wasn't an issue at all...

You rang the doorbell to Mackenzie's house and she came to the door a few seconds later, "Bitch, I really thought you wasn't gon-" Her voice faded as her eyes trailed behind me. "Um, what the fuck?"

"Hey, Kenzie." You gave her a cheery smile.

"Sup?" Erik greeted.

"Girl, what the hell?"

"Kenzie this is Erik, Erik this is my best friend Mackenzie." You introduced the two.

"Um... Come in?" You two stepped into the house as she moved aside. She led you both into her living room where Jeremy was, watching the TV.

"So I heard my biggest fan lived here."

Jeremy turned around to look at Erik, his eyes widening to the size of the moon. "Oh my God!" He jumped off the sofa to go greet Erik. "What the heck?!"

Mackenzie pulled you to the side, "What is he doing here?" She whispered. "I didn't know you were bringing a whole celebrity into my house."

"I didn't know you'd get starstruck by him, I thought he was too corny for you."

"He may be corny, but he is sexy as hell. Girl, what the fuck? Are y'all a thing now?"

"Nah, we're just friends."

"Mhmm... Whatever you say." She eyed you up and down with pursed lips, "Oh and what happened to him being into thick girls?"

"He said he's not Drake, he doesn't care for size." You giggled.

Before she could ask anymore questions, Jeremy called you both. "It's starting, come on!"

"Hold up, you letting Jeremy watch this too? We got a mini sex scene in it."

"I'll cover his eyes, now let's go." She pulled you back into the family room and sat you on the couch beside Erik.

As the music video started, you and Erik began rapping the lyrics together with his hand rested on your small thigh. Jeremy rapped the more appropriate parts of the song, and you caught Mackenzie rapping along to some of the lyrics too causing you to smirk.

When the bedroom scene came on, Mackenzie covered Jeremy's face. Erik was still enjoying himself, you stopped rapping, wowed at how believable you both made that scene look. This was nothing new for Erik, but for you it was a really big deal.

Video views sky rocketed quickly, of course there was the jealous slander in the comments, but you ignored them. The only thing you were worried about was your parents seeing the video. You never shot anything too raunchy before, so this would be a big step up for you and the both of them.

Erik had gone on tour for his album, and you stayed back auditioning for more roles.

"So when you coming to watch me perform?" He asked you over FaceTime.

"I don't know. I still gotta secure my bag."

He laughed, "So you're telling me all the publicity and shit did not pay you enough?"

"Of course it did, but I'm sure I didn't make a fraction of what you earned."

"You probably right."

You rolled your eyes.

"So let me pay for you then, and I'll fly ya friend out and Jeremy."

"Really? You'd do that?"

"Of course, and when you get here I want a part two. Just you and me, baby." His was grinning so hard. "I can show you a good time, and make you forget about everything."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah."

"Alright, I'll take you up on your offer."

"Cool, start packing. Imma send someone to come get y'all tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?!"

"Yeah, cancel any plans you got."

"You rich people are weird as shit."

"Aye, watch how you speaking. You weigh nothing, I can toss you around easily."

"Well fuck you too, Erik." You tried to say seriously, but ended up laughing and he joined in, calling you goofy.

This is last post of the OC showcase! It was fun making these, even though I didn't find a better proper way to make these besides these long posts because I am new to tumblr, heh heh 😅

Jeremy Makoa - Jeremy is a very simple and carefree guy, spending most of his time at the boardwalk by the beach playing his bongos, hanging out with locals and beach-goers inviting him to play and sing along with him while he tells him of stories of the past while he isn't getting hot dog from the boardwalk vendors. He does also take his time on the beach too, often relaxing on the soft sand or getting out to enjoy to ocean (and sometimes riding the waves!).

Melvin Hartley - A former professional surfer, Melvin still keeps his heart to the beach close by owning and running a beach rental shop with surfboards, bikes, and other stuff for sale; Melvin also still keeps his surfing skills very sharp by the waves on his breaks or when not the job. He's also available for lessons for people who want to get into the sport or to anyone wanting to learn more advanced maneuvers!

Wyclef Kenzie - Wyclef Kenzie is part nerd being obsessed with video games and comics, and part musician having a successful music independent music career online and being a successful live act in his local hometown with his trusty keytar...and he's also rivals musically and literally with Xander Summerfield. It all started when Wyclef got out preformed (and got beaten) by Xander at a local talent show years ago, heating up their rivalry instantly. Coincidentally, the two always seem to meet up at the same place, from getting a quick bite to eat to the same venue when at a big performance. Expect the two in the same room to chat about and trade verbal insults and/or quips with each other...or in rare occasions, battle with their musical weapons of choice!

Rae Delmar - Snowboarding for many years, Rae has had a lot of experience on her board that nowadays going through tough ski slopes or treacherous mountain passes seems normal for her. During the much warmer seasons, however, she has gotten into surfboarding, thanks to her friendship with Alix. Astralfiend - Astralfiend has been on the top of the food chain of the intergalatic fighting leagues for boxing and sumo for so long, practically winning every of the match they have been in to the point that Astral has been bored of beating everyone in the galaxy and headed to Earth to see if there's anyone strong enough the beat them. Besides the fact that Astralfiend is famous for being the most successful four-armed person in combat sports, they're also known for using very dirty and cheap moves in either sport they've been in.

Wesley Aurelio - Wesley is a snowboarder who is a master of pulling off a lot of tough looking tricks thanks to the fact that he practices a lot of yoga when he isn't on the slopes. He's also has a rivalry going with Rae, but it's unknown how their competitiveness started though...although it is an interesting one, seeing the two are highly-skilled snowboarders.

Stunts: It has been revealed that Keanu Reeves gave the stunt crew on the set of John Wick: Chapter 4 personalized gag t-shirts after filming (pictured in John Wick: Chapter 3 from 2019).The latest installment of John Wick was released just last week, and Keanu is once again transformed into the legendary killer. But not all daring tricks can be pulled off alone, with a number of stunt crews on set to make that leap - featuring a 35 stuntman stair fight scene.The film's fight coordinator, Jeremy Marina, recently explained to The New York Times, "You want 100 guys to fall down the stairs and you want me to do every reaction and fall differently. 'Of course you do. Academic Challenge in Engineering and Science (ACES) Competition Held at DACC -- 8 High Schools Competed

-- Danville Area Community College hosted the Academic Challenge in Engineering and Science (ACES) Regional competition, a test of aptitudes in Mathematics and Science, on February, 7, 2023. The regional competition was sponsored by the Math, Sciences & Health Professions Division at Danville Area Community College.

Students were tested in seven different academic areas which included mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, english, engineering graphics and computer science. Eight high schools, represented by nearly 115 students, participated. Teams that have placed second or first, as well as all individuals earning a first or second place in their Division, will be competing in sectional competition on March 9 at Eastern Illinois University. Wrestling Theology: Tension in the Triad? [April 3rd, 2018]

In late 2017, The Triad Of Tenacity manifested in Wrestling Theology Fellowship as Jeremy Hadley amassed the entourage of Jason Saint and Charlie Kruel. The trio found early success, with Saint and Kruel aiding Hadley in gaining a first round victory in the tournament to crown the first champion of WTF. However, as time has gone on, it seems that Kruel's attention has been led astray by the wildly popular Dale Patricks. With Hadley suffering a loss at Road To Glory, the crew needed to stick together to get back on track, but Kruel showed some serious signs of hesitation at Rise Of A Champion. Instinct Chapter 3-Act Natural (Spencer Reid x Female Reader)

Warnings: Brief confrontation between a male and female. Mentions of a break-in.

A/N: I’m sorry it took me so long to get this out. In other news...I reached 100 followers! A small but deeply appreciated feat. I am celebrating this milestone over the weekend. Check out my pinned post on what I am doing to say thank you to everyone who has enjoyed my writing.

"Act natural," the bony brainiac mutters to me.

"Given the current circumstances, I think that the most natural response here is to panic...thus I am acting natural," I retort.

"No, they are like predators. They will sense your fear. Act like this is any normal day for you."

"Well, to tell you quite honestly, my days as of recent have been filled with panic, so this is a typical day for me."

"Look, I'm the professional here. So, if you would listen to what I say and do as I tell you!"

"Is Dr. Reid raising his voice?"

"First thing you need to do is stop talking and let me think," he stresses as he rolls his sleeves up.

Enthralled by his sudden burst of authority, I express, "You intrigue me, Dr. Reid."

-----*Three Hours Earlier*-----

The subtle ticking of the clock gradually crescendos into powerful drumming that reverberates throughout the room. The doorknob rattles and my eyes dart to the entrance as Agent Prentiss steps in, "We have some photos we'd like you to come to look at." Hesitantly, I step around the table and follow behind her into the main office. The men and women of the precinct watch as I wander over to the whiteboard that Dr. Reid is standing in front of.

Littering the board is photos of my brother. As I slowly move to get a closer look, my breathing hitches, my hands instinctually cover my mouth in shock and disbelief. "Y/N, can you confirm that this is your brother?" Spencer approaches me cautiously. I can't seem to bring myself to speak. I nod. "Is there anything you can tell me about these particular photos or dates," he asks, brushing his fingers over specific pictures and scribbles of numbers on the whiteboard.

A realization strikes me as I examine the images more closely, "No. But I do recognize the people in the background." "You do? Can you identify them?" Agent Prentiss advances towards me. I point towards one of the grim figures lurking in the background of my brother's photo, "That's the man who was in my apartment."

"You said you didn't know who your attacker was," Emily says, obviously not trusting my statement.

"I'd know those eyes anywhere."

"HOTCH!" Spencer shouts.

About an hour later, the team is on a call with their technical analyst. The local chief investigator is interrogating me. "Come on, Y/N, don't play stupid with me. You and Jeremy were inseparable. You cannot possibly believe that I would fall for this innocent little act of yours. You are harboring information on a notorious gang in this city!"

"Oh please, Castillo, you've been a cop for as long as I've been alive. The Nomad Boys have been around for just as long. Not once have you put this much effort into catching them. Is this because the big guns are here? You want to seem all tough and in control for them, but once they're gone, you and I both know you will go right back to hiding in your little office, ignoring the concerns of the people of this city," I oppose.

Castillo vehemently lunges forward, "You think that I am the only one putting up some farce, while you pretend to be the naive little sister here whose older brother can do no wrong. I don't buy it for one instant. You may have that little boy band member wannabe wrapped around your finger, but don't believe for one iota of a second that you can dive under my radar. This entire town knows that you are third-generation scum, and I can promise you that this kind of pattern will stop with my reign. Do I make myself clear? Or do I need to repeat myself for emphasis?"

"No need. I ignored you just fine the first time," I swipe at the detective.

He surveys my body language. I cross my arms, perhaps in the way of shielding myself from intimidation or in a manner of faining his lack of influence on me. Castillo opens his mouth to speak, and in a perfect streak of luck, Spencer comes over to save the day.

Nearing us, he speaks, "Y/N, we want to go to your apartment and see if we can't determine what the man in the picture was after. I'd like for you to come with us and give us some insight into whatever we find."

I agree to go and follow him and Agent Morgan to the car.

(Spencer's POV)

Quietness permeates the entire car ride to the apartment. Morgan continuously eyeballs me, and finally, my nerves get the best of me, "Would you stop that!?" Derek wryly grins and then glances into the rearview mirror to look at the Y/N in the back, "You know, kid, growing up, I ran with the wrong crowd by association too."

She scans her eyes over the both of us, and her stare lands on me. Once again, her pleading eyes permeate my thoughts, clouding my reasoning. There is no place for her among the faction that we are investigating. If she is involved with them, it's against her better judgment...or even her will.

"By association?" Her nostrils flare, "My brother and I didn't--wouldn't run with the Nomad Gangs. Our father was ki-" Her voice tapers off as she pulls at the fraying cuffs of her jeans.

That can't be right. I've scoured her family's files, and the only information divulged about her father's death is that he was killed in a car accident in 2000.

"A member of the Nomad Boys killed your father, didn't he?" Morgan questions.

Looking back at her, I watch her slump against the seat and her eyes dull. The silence infiltrates the air once again. As the car arrives outside of her apartment, I internally thank the heavens for a break from the awkwardness. Motioning to my counterparts, we gather outside of the vehicle and trek into the residence building.

"I've lived here for five years now. I moved shortly after my brother died. My parents had an apartment in this building when they were newlyweds. The stories they shared with me about this place stuck with me, so when I was finally out on my own, this was the place I gravitated towards," the young woman says timidly, pulling the cuffs of her sleeves over her fists.

As we near the door to her apartment, she picks at her cuticles apprehensively. Her eyes concentrate keenly on Derek's movements as he inserts the key into the lock. The door creaks open, and we are met with a home left in shambles.

"Reid," Morgan turns around, "we did not leave this place looking like this."

Stiffening up at the unsettling sight, I say, "They left the first time empty-handed. But, Y/N wasn't the only target. So, they came back to salvage what they could acquire. The question is, what was it?"

"And did they find it," Morgan adds.

Worried, I look back to see Y/N wide-eyed and trembling. I hurry to her side and brush my hands over her shoulders, "This is unsettling, I know. Take a moment if you need to, but we will require you to look over everything here and see if anything is missing or seems out of place. See if you can piece together what it is they were looking for."

Raking her hands through her hair, she starts scouring every last inch of her apartment, picking up papers, knick-knacks, tearing apart whatever is left to ravage.

"We got a problem," Derek announces, peeking his head out of the front doorway, "Two unknowns headed right this way. Reid, can you identify them?"

I station myself next to him, cautiously leaning into the hallway, and I catch sight of them.

"She needs more time," I grab his arm. He nods, "I'll try and buy you some time."

Stumbling back into the home, I hurry over to the driven girl. "Two of the men seen following your brother are headed this way. I need you to keep looking just...faster. Once we run out of time, we need to get out of here without them recognizing you. Do you have some sort of hat or glasses you could wear out?"

She stiffens up as if frozen in place.

Nice going Spence, you've terrified her.

Attempting to remedy the situation, I do the one thing I can always fall back on, I rambling.

"Y-you knows, the fear response takes place in a section of the brain known as the amygdala, located in the temporal lobe or...in--in other words, the supercomputer part of your brain. It causes us to revert to the primitive senses of our minds. We often call this the fight or flight response. It manifests itself in a shortage of self-control and rash decision-making."

(Reader's POV)

I draw in a long breath, listening intently to his tsunami of words. At last, he stops to compose himself.

This man would kill on Broadway.

"So what you're saying is?" I probe.

"Act natural," the bony brainiac mutters to me.
