Quote from Imagi-Movies Vol 1 no. 3 by Jeffrey Combs in an interview from 1994:
"Combs' most recent big-screen appearance was a scene-stealing turn last year in Stuart Gordon's FORTRESS, a relatively lavish science fiction prison breakout movie that proved a tremendous overseas if not at home.
"I played a character named D-Day, sort of a frightened little farret-like inmate, a retro-'60s kind of guy, who manages to stay out of everyone's way and survive in this hideous enviroment," he explains. "As the story unfolds, he turns out to be a techno-wiz and explosives expert, and he proceeds to help in a big way when Christopher Lambert devises a plan to break out. He saves the day, when it looks like all else has failed, and dies- a heroic end. I was pleased with how it turned out. The role really builds and expands as the movie goes along." "

"I never thought of Herbert West as mad. He's determined. And he knows what he wants...but he's not mad....work is everything."

abese it amuses me that the simple fact that the re-animator fandom does not take into account that herbert west is really a canonically queer character, from what I have seen is not something very talked about in the fandom, but yes, Jeffrey combs in an interview said in a nutshell that herbert is asexual so yes west is an asexual icon haha

here what he said.

Jeffrey Combs on getting into character playing Poe.
I get the sense through hours of watching interviews that Jeffrey is a man of intense feelings. His Delta Flyers interview goes into some of the most sorrowful losses in his life.
From: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiHsY-JZA4E [Video Transcript:]
[Sarah, Interviewer]: How do you get into the character of Poe? How'd you create it?
[Jeffrey Combs]: Well, you know. Uh. Every life has loss in it. And, and so that's really, uh-- And I do think I have a melancholy aspect to me. Uh, a nostalgia and a, and a, and A certain sadness that I can certainly wallow in or tap into. Uhm, you know I've had loss in my life and uh and so it's not so difficult to extrapolate and, and, and grasp to the tenth square root the loss that, that Poe had. So it's not so difficult for me to, to, to sort of get a glimpse of that.

Your theory of Earthspark season 2?
Honestly it's hard to come up with theories since there's been no new info about the show aside from that cryptic interview and the combiner toys.
These are some things I'd love to see happen aside from Mandroid coming back:
-Terrans that aren't associated with the Maltos and have no desire to do the whole family thing
-Some sort of consequences from the Emberstone cracking in the Season 1 finale because I'm frankly sick of the whole conveniently getting new powers thing
-A flashback to The Battle of the Bay
-Jeffrey Combs voicing Ratchet again if the character appears
-A human/Transformer relationship
-Thundercracker because he seems like a perfect fit for the show
