How high on the clingy/protective scale these boys are …

Dick: a solid 8.5/10.

A very clingy bean.

Dick would be attached to your hip 24/7 if he could but he couldn’t answer that makes him sad.

In the wise words of @obsessedwithromance on one of my recent posts; ‘if Dick was a dog, he’d be a husky.’

And he’d make a very vocal husky at that with how often he whines and whinges whenever you tried to move from his grasp, acting as though every attempt in removing yourself from his arms were an attack against his character. So he will take personal offence to you wanting to leave him out in the cold and desolate place that was your bedroom. 💀

‘Stop trying to get out of my arms.’ He moans, tightening his hold on you as he buried his head into your neck, locking legs with you for extra measure. ‘Dick, I love you but you’re being too clingy for me right now.’ You reply and had just noticed the error of your ways almost immediately and were about to explain yourself but it was already too late, for you had set Dick the human husky off.

‘Me? Clingy? I thought you liked it when I was clingy? Why the sudden change? What did I do wrong? Why don’t you love me?’ Dick began his tirade and you could only lay there and let him talk your ear off -and loudly might I add- about how you apparently didn’t love him enough, which was a bunch of bullshit, but dick was too in his feelings to listen to reason. You’ll have to kiss him to shut him up, there’s no other option.

So once he’s settled down, he’ll go back to cuddling against your back,smiling dopily while you could only congratulate for a job well done at defusing the situation form getting any worse. You love your dramatic human husky and you wouldn’t change anything for anyone.

Jason: 7.5/10 or a 8/10.

The only time you’re seeing this man be clingy as all hell if he’s in a particular mood and want your affection, which might as well be all the time with this man, or after a not so great nightmare.

He would wake up in a cold sweat and immediately look for you and hold you against his chest as though you were his personal teddy bear, only just until his breathing evens out and not so tense in the muscles. Until then he holds onto you tightly and familiarises himself with you in anyway that he could, whether that be counting your eyelashes, noting the different shades that make up your eyes and much more.

At least just enough to help him gain some sense of self and awareness that he was safe and sound from all harm.

Like Jaime, Jason would watch over you like a hawk as Red Hood without a shadow of a doubt, and Jason has his reasons to do so as he knows the type of people who litter the streets of Gotham at night like the back of his hand. He doesn’t want to subject you to that sort of life of constant fear of having to look over your shoulder in hopes that there wasn’t someone following you home.

For in his minds eye, he’s your sole protector and the one thing that stands between the scumbags of the street and you. Jason doesn’t take this position he’s given himself lightly, it’s unlike him to anyway, as your safety is his top priority and he’d do anything to obtain it; whether they way it’s obtained was morally questionable or not, he doesn’t care for as long as your safe, he’ll live to learn with having permanent blood on his hands.

Damian: 5/10 on a good day. 2/10 in general.

He’s not an overly clingy person. Protective? yes. Clingy? No. It’s just not in just nature and he can be very awkward going about it too.

Damian knows he doesn’t have to constantly survey you 24/7, he has more faith in you and your abilities then most. He knows that you won’t call upon him if at all when faced with a situation that you could easily resolve yourself.

However if you were to get hurt on his watch or otherwise, that’s when he gets slightly clingy and will attempt to be within any space with you possible. Damian shows care in a completely different way than most and will more or less act like a guard dog when it came to you.

This little dude will point his sword at anyone that comes into close contact with you while glaring at them, meanwhile you’re having to push the blade of his sword down and away from the poor victim, only for Damian to raise his sword back towards their throat once more.

‘Pack it in.’ You’d hiss.

‘No. You’re practically useless when hurt, so let me deal with this one.’ Damian said.

You purposely ignored the fact that he had just called you useless and instead pushed the blade of his sword down until it was pointing at the floor again. ‘He’s not even a threat, just a regular citizen. So you can stop it with the fear attics now.’ You told him in a hushed tone. Damian meets your eyes with a glare of his own. ‘How you can be certain he’s a harmless civilian? What if he’s a low life thug of an underground drug syndicate on the rise? You can’t allow yourself to trust every face you meet.’ He replies, not one to back down for anyone, not even you.

You sigh as you rubbed the sides of your head. ‘Well at least try not to cause more issue for your dad. I swear between you, Jason, Tim and Dick I don’t know who gives him the most grey hairs.’

Jaime: runner up for Dick’s crown with also a 8.5/10

He’s clingy in a sense that he fears of loosing you constantly.

Khaji-Da doesn’t make the situation any better as it only encourages Jaime’s Innate clinginess tenfold, and now Jaime can’t go a couple of minutes without offering to join you on wherever your going.

He just cares about you very deeply and wouldn’t know what to do with himself if he’d ever lost you despite having the ability to stop any harm from coming your way. So needless to say that you spend most of your time with him and his family is a severe understatement.

It’s not as though he doesn’t trust you, he wholeheartedly does, but that trust doesn’t extend to potential outside threats. Hell, he would even go as far as to watch over you as Blue Beatle, much to the behest of literally everyone that isn’t Khaji-Da because the scarab is just as clingy over you in a sense that you were Jaime’s mate and there for should be within close proximity to him at all times.

It’s endearing but I think it’s about time you told Kahji-Da to cool it on the whole threatening people you talked to with plans to eliminate them…

Chapter 9

Fox's new friend?

Last night, you had a passionate feeling. You and little Robin had a wonderful date and adventure. In fact, neither of them counted. You just passed by to do a heroic act, flirted and played with little Robin, then went home. That's all.

The first thing you did when got home was check your body and equipment. Although you were unscathed by the two grenades, but still checked equipment just in case. You simply adjusted the equipment to its state and added some new functions.

The structure and performance are confidential, you don't want others to know the structure of the equipment. After all, this is in your own interest.

"Batman's partner..." you muttered to yourself.

You picked up Kirin took him to the bathtub. You squeezed some soap and rubbed it on him. Dogs not like humans, wash him gently, not wanting to use force and strip all his fur. You turned on the shower rinse off the soap on his body, then stepped back to let him shake off the water, then you wrapped him up with a towel.

She beat the other thugs to the ground. The onlookers looked at the thugs who fell to the ground. The sound of the crowd reached Harley Quinn's ears. She turned around saw the thugs fell to the ground. She licked her lips walked over excitedly to step on.

"Wow~ Look who is the little cutie who escaped."

She grabbed the thug with one hand and punched him in the face with the other hand. These punches really broke his face. You don't want to be messed with her, you choose to leave. Continue to watch the fun, even you will be unnecessarily implicated.

You leave the bustling place go to a nearby restaurant for dinner. You find a seat sit down, order a plate of red sauce pasta and a glass of iced lemon tea. The atmosphere of the whole restaurant is very lively and interesting.

You are about to leave but you realize something is wrong.

You dodge a flying kick. Harley puts down her foot and gives you a clapping "Wow wow wow! Do you have eyes behind you?! How did you know my flying kick is coming?!"

"It's a natural reaction." You said to her casually.

She whistled, slowly stopped clapping, "You're really good, I like you! Be my friend!" She stretched out her hand.

You looked at her scarred hands. "Why?"

"I think you're interesting!"

"If you want to recruit me work with Joker, I'm not interested." You gave a cold answer.

Suddenly she became quiet, realized something was wrong while looking at her. Her expression was no longer smiling, and there were tears in the corners of her eyes, but you can't take it lightly. Harley is also a famous liar. She mixed in the prison and helped Joker a lot to let him leave the prison smoothly. But you heard that Joker has disappeared, why didn't Harley disappear with him, and her dress is not like the clown costume before.

"He doesn't want me anymore, he has a new one." You heard this.

"Huh?" You were confused.

She suddenly started crying and wiped her nose with her sleeve. "Puddin broke up with me! He found a new love, they disappeared together!"

You felt sorry for her. You knew she was obsessed with Joker. They had been together for so many dangerous and crazy things. Harley gave up her future for Joker and fell into such a state. She even had a life-and-death battle. Even if Joker wanted her to die, Harley would willingly obey any of his crazy behaviors. It's not false that love can kill people.

"Joker's new love?" You asked curiously. Who is luckier than Harley?

"Punchy... Punch bag... Punchline" She sniffed.

What nickname did she give her? So who is she? "Hahaha, wow, ermmm... What a bad name."

She grabbed your shoulders, suddenly her strength increased. "You think she's bad too, right? Why did Puddin choose her instead of me? At least..." You saw something you shouldn't have seen. She burst into tears again. Joker's and his new love really hit her hard. Poor and terrible person.

"At least what?" you asked.

"Batman." You were so surprised to hear that. You knew that Batman and Joker were mortal enemies, but this was the first time you heard different news. If Joker and Batman ran away together, at least Harley wouldn't be angry. You really didn't know what kind of relationship Batman and Joker had.

You think about it again and again. Not strange for two men to be in love, one is the embodiment of justice in Gotham City, and the other is a terrifying madman. It would be amazing if the two of them had a spark. Something more exciting than gossip happened. Batman also has this hobby. What will happen in bed... You can't help but imagine various scenes in your mind.

You curious "Harley, what kind of relationship Batman and Joker have?"

She looked at your face with a lost expression "If….one of me and Batsy has to die, Puddin will definitely choose me..."

When she heard this, tears could not stop flowing, she flew over to you and you fell to the ground, her face buried in your chest rubbed tightly, you didn't know what to do with your hands that had nowhere to go, you put on her messy hair gently combed it, you couldn't comfort her with words, hoping that you could give her a little comfort.

For a while, she still hugged you tightly, not wanting to let go, she complained and cried in your arms, you let her vent as much as she wanted, at least it was better than fighting with her, enemies can also be friends, at least now is a peaceful day.

"You're a good person, you didn't leave me." Harley whispered.

"You hugged me with all your strength, I couldn't get rid of you, what can I do?"

"You can beat me..."

"I'm not that cruel."

Her face left your chest, raised up look at you, her makeup was smudged by her tears, her makeup was really thick and exaggerated, it faded so much when she cried. What if Joker cried, don't know he would be like her, you dare not imagine.

She no longer has that much strength, you start to move back away from her. She kneels on the ground wipes her tears with sleeves. Should you say she has it all to herself or that she doesn't understand love yet? You don't understand either. You have never tried to chase others for love without caring about your own life. Now seeing her so miserable is also a kind of relief for her.

You stand up to leave, and she calls you "Hey! What's your name?!"

You point yourself "My name is Kitsune, or you can call me Fox."

She quickly stands up from the ground and pulls your arm to bury it between her chest. You are shorter and she is taller. The distance between you is so close that you can feel each other's breathing, "Aren't you called Gotham Runner or Runny,that idiot name?"

"By the media, not my own will."

"Then I'll call you Batty!"

You tilt your head "Why!?"

She smiled, "Because you're cute! And you look like someone I know!"

It's indeed much better than Gotham Runner. "It's up to you, as long as you're happy."

She was so excited that you could feel her chest clamping your arm. "It's settled! Batty!"

In fact, when she wasn't crazy, she was still a cute girl. She just took the wrong direction and ruined by Joker. Hope she can heal the damage, pray that Joker will not come back, and the lucky girl named Punchy will not appear in front of her, so the damage to her can be reduced.

"Batty, are you Batman's side or Puddin's side?" Her question is not about right or wrong, the difference between the two is between justice and evil.

You shook your head, "I don't belong to anyone."

She let go and walked to your side, "You are a good person. I hope one day I won't receive news of your death or I will kill you myself."

You glanced at her and laughed, "Just think of it as bad luck."

Harley POV

After she turned into mist and disappeared from my sight, I was left alone wandering. The streets were quiet and comfortable. I could hear the sound of my high heels stepping on the ground. A crazy and cute girl was abandoned by her beloved Puddin. I missed Puddin's crazy smile and the tenderness brought by Batty.

I hugged myself closed my eyes to recall the time. She gestured with her hands like she was casting magic, turning the restaurant into a field of black mist, then transformed into a fox to beat the thugs to a pulp. She not like a fox, more like a bat, charming and blood-sucking.

She could have told them I was hiding in the toilet, but she didn't do it. After solving the problem, she didn't yell at me when she saw me again. She listened to my complaints patiently. She didn't find me annoying like Puddin. If we have the chance to meet again, I hope we will have a relationship like friends at that time.

"What are you doing here?" A rough and steady voice came.

It's the Dark Knight Batman! My friend Batsy! Actually, I just thought so. I jumped in front of him and said, "Nothing! Just a feast for the eyes."

Batsy asked me calmly, "Did you do that in the restaurant?"

I glared at him, holding my waist with both hands, "I was bullied by them, and there's nothing wrong with fighting back. But..."

"But?"

"I know someone who looks like you." I smiled.

"Really? Who is it?"

I nodded happily, "Gotham Runner! She's a good person! She feels like a mini Batman!"

After listening to what I said, Batsy turned away coldly and sternly as usual. I was wondering if Batsy and Batty would fight in the future. Would it be a fight of bites or a war of peace? The more I thought about it, the more curious I became about which side would win, and which side would become each other's food.

Whenever I see tiny Robins, like younger than what they actually would've been when Bruce obtained them, it makes me sad. He's so good with little kids, lots of actual canon examples of that, but he never got to have babies or toddlers himself.

So of course I had to write about it when I saw this from The-BlackCat on deviant art.

Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian all got de-aged the night before Thanksgiving while on patrol. Dick was now 8, Jason 6, Tim 4, and Damian 2. The girls were smart enough to avoid the crazy magic user that cast the spell, and they were also smart enough to avoid the Manor altogether and have Thanksgiving dinner at the Clock tower.

Duke had gone to help Black Lightning and Katana with a meta mess in Metropolis, and told Bruce they were still wrapping things up. He totally lied. He really did like his foster family, but his siblings were kinda high maintenance as adults on a good day, and there was no way he wanted to be stuck on babysitting duty with their toddler versions.

It was a mess at the Manor, literally and figuratively. There was about as much yelling as usual, but thankfully less punching and zero weapons. But there was also a lot more food thrown. A LOT! He wasn't even sure how they managed to get so much food on a 16-foot ceiling.

Bruce was tired. Like fighting Deathstroke and Darkseid in the same day kind of tired.

Dick talked constantly about Zitka and elephants in general, Jason grabbed every book he could reach, Tim just wanted to sit in someone's lap and curl up, and Damian cried any time Ace and Titus weren't right next to him.

How did he get all of them happy at once?

Then he spotted one of the books Jason had pulled down to read, and it gave him an idea. He found his series of Babar the elephant books that were his as a kid and wrangled his sons by the fire. He put Tim in his lap, and Damian on his right side with both dogs at his feet. (Two large, meaty bones insured they'd stay there.) Jason was leaning up against his left side, while Dick sat on the floor next to Ace, reading the Babar stories out loud to his siblings and Bruce.

Everyone was happy, especially Bruce who never seemed to acquire children this young. He loved it. Even with all the mess. Alfred too, even if it was a lot more work for the elderly butler.

Three days later the boys turned back into their regular ages, with no real memories of their temporary return to childhood.

But Bruce remembered. He would always remember this magical 72 hours with his boys.

IN-GAME BIOGRAPHY

Jason "Askal" Timog was born and raised in the rural mountains of Davao Oriental, Philippines. At 18 years old he enlisted in the army, motivated by the rampant terrorist attacks on his country. He would later join the Philippine Scout Rangers, where he was nicknamed "askal" meaning "feral dog", from a habit of baring teeth during vigorous trainings.

One of his deployments was a joint operation between MARSOC and the Scout Rangers, tasked to take down a chain of Al-Qatala strongholds in Southern Philippines. Among the MARSOC operators was Phillip Graves.

In 2019, Askal and several other Rangers were involved in a mutiny. Although it was a failure, the rebels took multiple innocent lives before fleeing the area. Askal barely escaped trial thanks to the help of his sister, who was exiled by their family for being transgender. She took him to Canada, but it was a matter of time before he's recognized.

Commander Graves approached Askal at a perfect time, offering security in exchange for his expertise. In 2021, Graves formed "Whiskey Company", a group of operators specializing in reconnaissance, amphibious and jungle warfare. Askal is among the most capable of the operators.

Early 2023, Whiskey was dispatched to track down Konni strongholds across Europe and gather intel of Makarov’s inner circle. The intel would later aid TF-141 and Shadow Company on their relentless search for Commander Makarov.

Disclaimer: I didn’t watch it. I don’t intend to watch it any time soon. These are based on clips I’ve seen and articles I’ve read about the show.

Confirmed

1. Harry used Soho House for sex - Markus was his pimp, Meghan one of the girls ‘on the menu.’ (Harry said in the documentary that he saw a picture of Meghan, with the dog filter, on Instagram and slid into her DMs. Internet sleuths determined that the picture was likely posted on Markus’s feed, where Harry saw it, since Soho was their only mutual connection.)

2. Meghan used Markus/Soho House to meet men. (See above)

3. Meghan photoshops the children for appearances to make them look better than they actually are. (Netflix footage shows both children with Meghan’s dark eyes and hair; however, all publicly released photographs in color show the children with Harry’s red hair. This is probably why Meghan favors black and white photographs - easier to hide the evidence.)

4. Harry to attack William and Kate in his new memoirs, reveal classism against Meghan. (In the Netflix series, Meghan says Will and Kate are as formal behind closed doors as they are in public. They wouldn’t hug her when they were first introduced.)

1. Archie is actually the biological son of Meghan’s friend, doesn’t live with Meghan and Harry. (Tons of footage and private pictures of Archie with Meghan and Harry in the documentary.)

2. The “real” Lili is an Australian baby model. (Netflix docuseries has pictures of Lili from birth and show a closeness between Archie and Lili that wouldn’t otherwise exist if they were never around each other.)

3. Royal christening for Lili after Charles ascends, before coronation. (According to the Netflix series, Tyler Perry is Lili’s godfather but he accepted the honor only if they didn’t have the ceremony in London with the royals.)

4. Royal christening for Lili with The Queen attending. (see above)

5. Sussexes wanted to significantly re-edit the Netflix series and delay it to 2023 to remove comments about Chares, Camilla, William, and Catherine following The Queen’s death. (Series premiered December 2022. Inflammatory comments remained included.)

Discord Lays Off 170 Employees Due To Overhiring

Community chat application company, Discord, has laid off 170 employees, or 17 percent of its staff, according to a new report from The Verge. Discord CEO Jason Citron cites overhiring, which has led to the company becoming “less efficient” in how it operates. The layoffs affected people across various departments.

The Verge obtained an internal memo from Citron sent to employees announcing the layoffs, which have already happened. That memo explained why the layoffs were happening, when affected employees would receive the email telling them they no longer have a job, and follow-up meetings for those who remain at Discord.

“We grew quickly and expanded our workforce even faster, increasing by 5x since 2020,” Citron writes in the memo. “As a result, we took on more projects and became less efficient in how we operated. Today, we are increasingly clear on the need to sharpen our focus and improve the way we work together to bring more agility to our organization.

“This is largely what drove the decision to reduce the size of our workforce. While difficult, I am confident this will put us in the best position to continue building a strong and profitable business that delivers amazing products for our users and supports our mission for years to come.”

You can read the full internal memo at The Verge here. The Verge writes that Discord raised about $1 billion in funding in total, with more than $700 million “in cash on its balance sheet and the goal to become profitable this year,” according to the publication’s sources.

These Discord layoffs follow a heartbreaking trend in these first couple of weeks of 2024. Just this week, we learned video game engine creator Unity is planning to lay off 1800 employees (25 percent of its workforce) by the end of March, and that streaming company Twitch is laying off 500 people (35 percent of its staff).

This string of layoffs this week follows a terrible 2023 for the people who make games and those in game-adjacent industries.

n January of last year, Microsoft laid off 10,000 employees amidst its ongoing $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard, which it completed in October.

Striking Distance Studios, the team behind 2022’s The Callisto Protocol, laid off more than 30 employees in August of 2023. That same month, Mass Effect and Dragon Age developer BioWare laid off 50 employees, including long-time studio veterans. The following month, in September, Immortals of Aveum developer Ascendant Studios laid off roughly 45% of its staff, and Fortnite developer Epic Games laid off 830 employees.

In October of last year, The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog laid off at least 25 employees, and Telltale Games also underwent layoffs, although an actual number of affected employees has not yet been revealed. Dreams developer Media Molecule laid off 20 employees in late October.

In November, Amazon Games laid off 180 staff members, Ubisoft laid off more than 100 employees, Bungie laid off roughly 100 developers, and 505 Games’ parent company, Digital Bros, laid off 30% of its staff.

In December, Embracer Group closed its reformed TimeSplitters studio, Free Radical Design, and earlier in the year, Embracer closed Saints Row developer Volition Games, a studio with more than 30 years of development history. A few weeks before the winter holidays, Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering owner Hasbro laid off 1,100 employees.

Watching "Ginger Snaps" for the first time. I'm loving it so far, it's giving me "Heathers" vibes for some reason and it has Katherine Isabelle (Ava from Supernatural) and Emily Perkins (Becky Rosen from Supernatural) in it.

It's different from a lot of werewolf movies I've seen before. Giving it a solid 8/10. It wasn't particularly scary but the plot was really good!

Here's a Summary from Wikipedia:

In Bailey Downs, a rash of dog killings has been occurring. Brigitte and Ginger Fitzgerald are teenage sisters who harbor a fascination with death, and as children, formed a pact to move out of the suburb or die together by the age of 16. One night, while on the way to kidnap a dog owned by school bully Trina Sinclair, Ginger begins her first period. The scent of blood results in the girls being attacked by the creature responsible for the maulings. The creature bites Ginger. As the girls flee, the creature is run over by a van belonging to Sam Miller, a local drug dealer.

Following the attack, Ginger undergoes transformations that concern Brigitte. Her wounds heal quickly, and she starts to behave aggressively, grow hair from her scars, sprout a tail, and menstruate heavily. She begins dating her classmate Jason McCardy. One night, Ginger bites Jason's neck and has unprotected sex with him, despite his insistence to use protection. Later, she furiously beats Trina in public, and kills a neighbor's dog. Brigitte seeks out Sam to obtain information on what his van struck, and they agree that Ginger was attacked by a werewolf and is transforming into one. Sam suggests infusing an extract of monkshood, also known as wolfsbane, a perennial plant often referred to in lycanthrope folklore.

Trina accuses Ginger of kidnapping her dog. She fights with Ginger and is accidentally killed. The sisters hide the body in a freezer. Brigitte accidentally breaks off two of Trina's fingers, and the fingers are misplaced. On Halloween, Brigitte brings monkshood to Sam and he creates an extract of the herb. Brigitte is attacked by Jason (who was infected by Ginger when they had sex), and defends herself by using the monkshood syringe on him. She witnesses his immediate change in behavior, which proves it is a cure. At school, she discovers Ginger's murder of a faculty member and witnesses her killing another. Ginger discloses her intent to target Sam next at the Greenhouse Bash, a Halloween party hosted by him.

The girls' mother finds the fingers and Trina's corpse. She drives Brigitte to the Greenhouse Bash, saying that she will protect them. Brigitte arrives to find Ginger hurting Sam for rejecting her sexual advances. Brigitte wounds Ginger's and her own palm and clasps their hands together, infecting herself with Ginger's blood. She convinces Ginger of her loyalty and willingness to help her. As the sisters leave, Brigitte decides to abandon her mother. Ginger feels her transformation approaching and Sam knocks her unconscious with a shovel. They take Ginger back to the Fitzgerald house to prepare more of the cure for her.

Ginger transforms into a werewolf on the way home and escapes the van. Sam and Brigitte hide in the pantry as Sam makes the cure. When he goes to find Ginger, a transformed Ginger attacks him. After finding Sam, injured and bloody, Brigitte tries to save him by drinking his blood to calm Ginger, but is unable to go through with it. Ginger senses Brigitte's insincerity, and kills Sam.

As Ginger chases Brigitte, Brigitte returns to the room where they grew up. Brigitte defends herself while holding the syringe in one hand and a knife in the other. Ginger lunges at Brigitte and into the knife, fatally wounding herself. Brigitte lays her head upon her dying sister's chest and weeps.

So you going to pay for it and that's why it's named Friday the 13th. But this is Jason who's possessed and he does drowned in the water and he does get possessed there with this particular creature and the other creature leaves and yeah George's body was up on Mars it's another trick. And swims off and escapes the Bob's territory because the blob is terrifying to most creatures of any kind it can go inside you and dissolve you from the inside out. And yes Kay Jewel blood helps you resist radiation and we have several cages drinks that contain some of the elements that the blood does. And a lot of people buy it this morning when they heard it the more we'll purchase it now and it is also something you can juice up on and it makes you feel better it gives you energy that's real. There are few people wandering around who are younger and appearance and their body is better and they did using the drinks.
