Co-created by Gundam creator Yodhiyuki Tomino, Raideen is an giant ancient robot guardian, created by the the people of the lost continent of Mu! Piloted by teenager Akira Hibiki, he must use Raideen to defend mankind from The Mu’s ancient enemies: the evil Demon Empire and it’s dark god: Baraos!

For years, I only knew about this robot from random toys and the covers of Marvel’s Shogun Warriors comic, but was truly surprised by its unique and grand original story!

aaaaaa i've seen shinkenger to halfway thru kiramager (has not seen any of zenkaiger... covid messed up my viewing schedule and i decided to rewatch shinkenger again and magiranger instead if catching up) other than those recent ones i have seen gokaiger, magiranger (yes i am an only child yes i love magiranger yes we exist), go-onger, and timeranger.

(i have seen Nothing from the showa era i have only seen some old kamen rider eps here and there) (i also have NOT seen dekaranger yet but i WANT to after i get caught up bc hoji looks like a fun little shithead of a guy)

a couple of other series i have not seen but know vaguely about thru osmosis but ya hiiiiiiiiiii <3

#shinkenger is the onlt series i have a tag for though because it is Special to me <3 my friends and i watched it 2gether when i was like 6 #and none of us knew japanese LOL their mom translated for us live 😭 she literally didn't have to do that i think we would have had fun #without knowing the plot.
