Another redraw, but I went with a screencap from the cartoon this time. Partly cuz I've been meaning to do some from the cartoon anyway, & partly because I wanted to draw Jacques, lol. I tried to give it a grainy texture to look a bit more like the screencap too.

To whoever requested Jacques, I'm so sorry that this is the end result - I had a brain blast and this just kind happened. Staying up until 4 a.m. was totally worth it (even though I was rushing to the finish line, but the hyperfocus sleeps for no one). You cannot tell me this isn't canon. “Falling In Loathe: How Beetlejuice and Lydia Met,” a Halloween origin story.

Summary:            

In her first week after moving to Peaceful Pines, 12-year-old Lydia Deetz has already incurred the wrath of new class-mate Claire Brewster, and some weirdo in the cemetery dressed as a ghost.

Four days until Halloween, and Beetlejuice has been bested, for the first time in his death, by a 12-year-old brat in black.

Beetlejuice and Lydia are determined take the other one down.  They could never be friends!  Never.....

Notes:    

This is set in the Cartoonverse, but has many characters and elements from the Movieverse

My Beetlejuice is inspired by how he is in the animated series' first season, when he was a true poltergeist and potentially dangerous (i.e. blowing his cool in “Poopsie”), not how he is in later seasons, when he was just goofy and gross, and often a cowardly victim.  There's also some influence from his movie version.

Additionally to Hyde and Pidgley also added Lanyon and Jekyll.

Jekyll as Beetlejuices alter-ego from an episode called "Dr. Beetle & Mr. Juice" that is funny because instead of turning evil like Lydia from the cologne (like hj7 but turns you the opposite of yourself, and the antidote is water) he turns into an aristocratic gentelman (very briefly tho).

And Lanyon as Jacques LaLean (always forget his name Imao) because well, bj and Jacques have quite the "roomates" dynamic in the show and are a common cartoon ship.

So i think in this au Jekyll is also usually in control at day and Hyde at night. With this New U cologne netherworld Jekyll turns into Hyde to create chaos and have fun with Rachel. Hyde avoids consequences because as soon as he turns back into Jekyll hes nowhere to be found >:)

Well, after drawing 88 different skeletal characters, here it is, the full series of "A Buncha Boneheads"! I was originally going to try and sell this as a poster but after looking into it, I don't think I can do that unless I want to deal with several dozen copyright laws.

This was quite the fun little exercise for me- the biggest challenge was trying to emulate the art styles of so many different series and properties. There are definitely more skull-headed characters out there that I could add, but frankly I think a nice even 88 is good enough, and there are other projects I want to work on for the future. Overall I'm pretty proud of this.

With that said, let me know if I've made a spelling mistake or something anywhere on here- I've tried my best but I just know I missed one or two somewhere.
