Wow, Zu, that pool is BRUTAL, HAHA

I mean, easy way is, free Aim or still have him, so we will get more comic. But even if you said that Ink can't do anything RIGHT, I like to overthink things XD

Like first of all, he isn't that forgetfull, so why should he put him down, with nothing as a "fair deal" for him?

Then, his speech might have some thought into it. Like, where are they again? What if this is some weird anty-void place, that may really kill, or at least teleport Aim somewhere, if his soul was on loose... like, we aren't shown that Ink changed their place, but if Nightmare couldn't find him, and Ink is a creep, it may not be beyond him? Like the first panel he turned Aims soul blue looks like they get through a portal. Losing track of him again, with Ink to deal with in meantime would be no good.

Also, while Cream being like rouge dad and doing the talking papa, it is suspicious, how Dream is reacting. He was the first one to attack and with how stressed he looks, there might be something more going one... like, we got a panel where they are dressed like they were...before, and right after he lowered his bow. I forgot, if Underverse here was a thing or not, but maaaaaybe Dream realized what Ink wants? ...and if he wants them to go back to their roles and intervention in multiverse, then Aim is to be... neutralized.

Also, purple X in the eye? Maybe someone got some unfinished business there...

Anyway, I think that holding Aim's soul is a better solution for now, but it will end up with put him down winning and we will see how wrong this whole rant was XD

Side note, why is Ink wagging his brush??? He isn't a puppy, come on, he should stay sexy, not cute XD

Here, Cross and Dream follow two strategies of behavior: aggressive and soft.

Cross acts on emotions, he's driven by fear for his child (which is a maternal instinct that doesn't allow him to let go of Aim).

Dream acts rationally: he sees that there's an opportunity for a dialogue, with no need to rush into battle, and he can feel Aim.

One strategy may be more effective than the other, depending on the situation, and now it'll be up to you to choose how long they last ✧

Sounds like a fun game, doesn't it? :)

P. S. Ink just couldn't realize that these two are those Dream and Cross ("Geez, what has the creator done to you?" xd) and that they're the parents :'D He can be cute! And threatening. Silly! And cunning. Chaotic neutral, en bref <3

may i request a platonic relationship with rei and ritsu as their youngest sibling who is cheerful and more energetic than the two? they still have the sakuma's illness but their youngest sibling would suddenly get bursts of energy to do some silly stuff (kinda like leo lol).

might i add, because of the unusual action of the youngest sibling, the sakuma family (aside from rei and ritsu) sees them like an alien. reader is secretly hurt and sad because of this, since theyre being treated like an outsider. though they dont particularly show it, but rei and ritsu knows and continues to stick by their side.

Another Sakuma sibling… you are so much different from your older brothers! You were talkative and always got along with everyone and even their unit mates and friends~ Lucky!

There are times where you randomly appear on either Ritsu's or Rei's practices but they don't mind, really, they want your company anyways and it's good to see you hanging out and deciding to watch them do their practice because it boosts their morale. (They want to show off in front of their sibling)

Ritsu turns you into his pillow when you decide to visit him one time saying, “I can't find Maa-kun anywhere, but you'll do. ♪” Izumi would scold Ritsu for slacking off the practice again, and… you as well. Since you appeared, Izumi would scold you for interrupting their practice and you could've just visited them when it's their break time, so Izumi told you their schedule so the next time you'll arrive is at their breaks. (Which you didn't follow)

You and Leo would be great buddies! Seriously, Izumi acts like a mother to the both of you since you two are talking about aliens and how Leo got abducted by aliens. Leo would get mad at Izumi whenever he asks you to leave, “Hey Sena! Don't make her leave!" Izumi would just sigh in disappointment because it would mean their practice will be cancelled.

Arashi will be your best friend as well! She would gladly help you out if you have troubles, or advice that you needed and if you needed someone to let out your problems and feelings whenever your brothers are busy~ (I love her sm)

Tsukasa… Well, at first, he adores you! If you like sweets, the two of you will go to various candy/cakes/sweet shops and again, you'll get scolded by Izumi alongside Tsukasa. If you're not a fan of sweets, Tsukasa completely understands it! But that doesn't change the fact that he will at least try to make you like sweets.

Now for Rei! Everytime you visit your oldest brother, he doesn't mind it when you barge into the rehearsal room, “Kukuku, how did my precious youngest sibling find me~?” He would joke about it but he is still happy you decided to visit him!

Now if you're the same age as Ritsu but maybe a year or 2 younger?? Kaoru would try to hit on you, honestly. Rei wouldn't like it and he doesn't want his youngest sibling to be tainted by Kaoru! Adonis always teaches you about some knowledge of his hometown outside Japan and if he ever got the chance, he would make you taste one of specialties! As for Koga, he's pretty surprised that someone like Rei who has a pretty mysterious personality is so different from him! He would be confused, but in the end, he would be on good terms with you. :3

There are times when you're out in the sun for too long, or tiring yourself, you would collapse. You inherited the illness as well, and Leo would get worried and will have a mental crisis trying to bring you to a shaded area as much as possible. And a few seconds later, you would be back to normal! ..just avoid staying in the sun for too long.

Due to you being pretty much different from the Sakuma's, your family members sees you as an outcast and disgrace because of how outgoing you are. You can't help but feel sad and disappointed at their words. (You would rant at Arashi about this and she feels bad for you!) But you also can't help wondering what if your older brothers think the same as them? You're worried that they're just faking their personalities to go along with yours.

Now, Rei and Ritsu don't really know the problems you're going through, but somehow when one of the Sakuma member told how “disgraceful” and “a shame to the family”, their blood boils, how can they call you with those words?! The two of them would comfort you and Ritsu would most probably hug while Rei pats your back, saying comforting words.

You don't deserve to be called like that after all, there's different types of people, they would encourage you to keep doing what you like since that's your own way and they would support you like a good brother they are!

Requestober 2023: Vargas Edition

The playlist has returned for this year! There will be a few in between, but it should be updating at least once a week on either Wednesday or Friday or both - keep an eye out for your req(s)!

I considered a couple different lines for day 1 - there are just so many Narrator lines that could work for Scriabin! Any of the many times where the Narrator is being sadistic, it all just works. Plus, it’s fun to imagine Scriabin trapping Edgar in the same way, just shoops a wall right into his path haha

But in the end I went for one of the tags I left myself on the original TSP/Vargas crossover doodles, it does still live in my head rent-free after all. You can see in the background that those “invisible” tears were intended from the beginning as well :3c

There’s also something funny to me about Scriabin using the word “rubbish” haha ♪ How posh

Edgar, as usual, getting blame for something that was definitely his Narrator, I mean Scriabin’s fault lol

I really wasn’t sure what to do with day 2 at first - I’m too scared to watch any of the SAWs, or look them up on YouTube >~< I tried finding transcripts with stage direction or people describing them in text online but I couldn’t really find anything, I really do appreciate my friend for telling me about one haha. Even with that though, I still had to do a lot of guesswork! Something about wrists, fear, not doing well - Scriabin is very cute hiding behind Edgar but it’s still not very obvious what the theme is, huh?

I was able to find a very brief animation of I think? the trap that had been described to me but even that was a bit much for me :’D I was a very wimp that day! I didn’t even have it in me to draw the trap itself in the sketch! There’s something a bit ominous about not being able to see into the trap completely, only the blood pooling at the bottom ♪ But I’m still happy I went with what I did in the end, though I did have to change Scriabin’s dialogue from fear to accusation - though that tracks for him haha

Day 3 was silly and therefore easy to whip up haha ♪ The angst is done, the blood is done, this leaves only kisses! Any opportunity to use my pencils to make kiss-marks, I will take lol. Clearly this is what the prompt was pointing at! Obviously! Lol

If you look, Jake’s lips are painted pink and Scriabin’s red, and they have each other’s lipstick marks on their faces lol - I am attention to detail when it comes to kisses ♪

I did still end up making an alt even after pretty much decided on the first one, it’s still fun to think about Scriabin interacting with Jake before he gets his own body ♫ He’s so smug lol, at least they’re easy to cover! Ish! Mostly! Probably itch tho lol

Day 5, yaaay some Biblical Edgar <3 I have been out of practice drawing wings lately so they’re basically just Big Shapes here lol, it’s all about blocking out the space they’ll take for when it’s cleaned! I am quite happy with how he turned out digitally, his cute face ♥

Day 7 got a couple passes as well before settling! It’s a theme lol, though there were both kidverse! The prompt mentioned “brothers” but that doesn’t necessarily mean when they were kids - they can be silly and sibling-like even After, they have the range. Still, Edgar pushing him on the swing as a kid was a cute idea so I’m glad I at least scratched it down haha. Why’s he so heavy? He’s dense ♪

The alt was the winner tho! I love how much like a bug Scriabin looks here haha, how could he have possibly seen this coming??

Day 8′s sketch was done outside in the dark actually, stargazing very appropriate! You can kinda see me go back and forth on their clothes in the moment lol, Edgar’s striped shirt visible on his upper arms underneath his long sleeves and I still ended up going with a scarf! I also planned to make their breath clouds but I forgot them in the end, that background took up a lot of my focus lol. Also how come Edgar’s feet turned out better here than in the final version >:P

Gaster! A warmup for Day 9 since it’s been a bit since I’ve drawn him, especially with the cracks in his face! Scriabin is annoying his offscreen so it still totally counts as being Vargas-themed lol

Their poses were a bit subdued initially so I knew I wanted to try again, but at the same time there are a lot of elements here that I liked! Especially their hands, Gaster holding his hands in fists at his sides rather than speaking to Scriabin through sign language, and Scriabin with his flourish-opened palm, inviting ♪

Actual pose skeletons lol, though Gaster’s was a bit top-heavy. It all worked out in the end at least :)

Day 11 was a very fun concept! Turning Scriabin into an Enderman was an especially fun idea if Edgar could figure/find out that he could hide from him using a pumpkin mask, though I’m sure that would make Scriabin mad as well once he found him haha. Just sneeaaak quietly behind him, he’ll never know! Also the pumpkin having Edgar’s glasses, goatee, and scars carved into it haha <3

All the same, I’m glad I went with what I did - Scriabin’s pose is so much more dynamic! Very fun! His hands and his legs, and the way his coat flares out! Plus putting his Ender teeth on display was a lot of fun haha ♪ Poor Edgar can’t catch a break no matter what world he’s in, at least I didn’t actually turn him into a sheep lol

Day 12, yaaaay I finally got to Uncle Jake! So nervous <3 Don’t break the baby, don’t hurt him don’t move too much ahhh! Haha, terribly cute ♥ I do still really love how confident Edgar is here - he’s usually so nervous around Jake, but oh how the tables! Dadgar with a support system <3 His FWB comes to say hi to his son, it’s very wholesome hehe ♪

Day 13 was actually drawn way of out of order, between several of the later days and even day 12 I think lol, it’s so hard to convince my brain to listen to new music haha. It was quite a lot of fun making the text not look like it’s “spoken,” outside of a text bubble hehe, I don’t do that too often! And of course still deeply inspired by his palette challenge, it is too pretty to not pull from every not and again <3

Honestly I initially had no ideas for day 14, and yet this was still the only sketch I ended up with! My earworm at the time came in clutch, honestly do listen to Everything In You it’s such pretty yearning starcrossed song ah <3 All these musical doodles haha ♪ Sweetness sweetness <3

And of course when they’re that close there has to be a kiss! Scriabin is surprised, but how much? :3c Edgar giving Scriabin kisses of his own accord 💖 That theme never really left me either hehe

Day 27, the last Vargas day! Had to get in one Snake Charmer before the end huh haha ♪ It’s too bad my Ladyverse!Naga idea was a bit too long or I would’ve done that, but I’ll never turn down the potential for pretty clothes! And spiders for that matter haha, I went with the Acanthoscurria Geniculata - Brazilian Whiteknee again :) As much as I love Scriabin as a Bold Jumper, tarantulas just have such gorgeous proportions! And of course, I always enjoy drawing Lady!Scriabin, so it was doubly fun to draw her as a spider :)

That’s all of this year’s Vargas sketches! A fun bunch! And it was fun to mix a few others in as well :D

[TL] PYSCHOBREAK/Chapter 15

Kaoru: Okay guys, calm down~♪

It’s not very attractive if you get all flustered, is it, you two?

Koga: …!? Hakaze-senpai!

Adonis: There’s two Hakaze-senpais? No, that's the real Hakaze-senpai?

Kaoru: Yup. Sorry about being late. I heard you were touring as HELLSING but you kept getting further and further away from ES.

It was difficult to catch up with you, wasn’t it Rei-kun?

Rei: Mhm. We had other prior commitments to attend to so I thought we wouldn’t have enough time to come visit you. I was rather worried.

Koga: Sakuma-senpai is here too… W-what are you doin’? Ain’t you got things to be doin’, like those stupid variety shows?

Rei: Of course, I have already taken that into account.

Prior to our departure, I informed the staff and actors that we would be unable to participate. We have recorded a lot of footage already as well.

So we will not be needed for recording for some time.

Since I thought something of this manner would happen, I prepared in advance.

Adonis: That is very Sakuma-senpai of you. How did you know these sorts of things would happen?

Rei: Kukuku. There are always signs, albeit few, however I use them to make a decision.

Therefore, I am always prepared. That is all there is to it.

My grudge against the world is no more, and I have stopped shutting myself away in a coffin. So I never lose something, or someone, again, I must follow Adonis-kun’s example, and work as hard as possible.

Koga: Hm. You need t’work, ya vampire bastard~, all you do is laze around.

Jeez, man~... it worries me everytime. You lay there motionlessly ‘n I worried you’ve died.

Rei: I won’t dieee~. Living is fun, after all.

And what’s more, you are all precious human beings who overcome their difficulties by yourselves, without expecting me to do it for you.

I already am well acquainted with the idea. Since UNDEAD’s very first performance, my conviction has only grown stronger.

Consequently, I am able to rest in peace.

You do not wear me out.

I am grateful that is a guarantee.

You saved me.

Kaoru: Aha, like always, Rei-kun only says notional things, so I’ll give you a substantial explanation, ‘kay?

Don’t let Rei-kun just say profound things. You’ve got to explain things properly, you know?

Rei: Yes yes, mama.

Kaoru: You just brought up a sore subject on purpose didn’t you?

Rei: You will all love and accept me no matter what I say or do, so I can afford to be a bit silly sometimes.

Kaoru: I’ll kick you.

…Anway, since we’re in the middle of a live, I’ll keep this brief.

Rei-kun and I dreamt again, about the past.

In the dream, we found the guy behind everything— and we got rid of him.

That’s why the fake versions of us are bugging out and shutting down. The person who was controlling them has been disposed of so can’t control ‘us’ anymore.

Koga: Huh? What? Whaddya mean, playboy!?

Kaoru: It’s been a while since you called me that. I didn’t tell you back then, but I didn’t mind that nickname.

Actually, being stiffly called ‘senpai’ makes me feel gross. It was distant and lonely to see Koga-kun acting weirdly obedient.

Koga: Oh, my bad, it’s just ‘cos I’ve been callin’ the fakes ‘playboy’ ‘n ‘vampire bastard’.

Kaoru: Ah, alright. So? Anything you want me to clarify?

Koga: Of course there fuckin’ is…!

Whaddya mean that you ‘got rid of the mastermind’!? Who was it!? Until now we’ve had no idea!

This ain’t a discontinued manga! Next thing you know you’ll be defeatin’ a super powerful villain character off screen!

Rei: They weren’t that powerful of a villain to be perfectly honest.

The mastermind was some insignificant person you could find anywhere.

The self-proclaimed ‘vampires’ referred to him as Dracula-kun.

Koga: That name… Wasn’t that the name we heard in the dreams?

Rei: Indeed. It is from a distorted reality, something that could not exist in reality.

I suspected that the mastermind was the reason for these strange dreams we had.

The culprit did not only want us to be the only ones having interesting, funny lives.

He too had dreams and desires. There were many things he wanted to accomplish.

Adonis: So did you find out why he did it?

Rei: Of course. The basics of any mystery novel. Who did it, and why did they do it?

One must analyse, enquire, make deductions, and uncover the truth.

Fortunately, the culprit was rather careless and left behind a substantial amount of evidence. Therefore figuring out why was rather easy.

Firstly, who caused this all? It was a former devotee of mine.

In the dream, a so-called ‘vampire’ who was previously subdued as part of a huge effort.

He worshipped me, admired me, and wanted to succeed me—

He was a Yumenosaki student who was crushed by the Student Council.

The culprit, Dracula-kun, was sacrificed as part of the Student Council’s schemes. Though I have been through that cruel experience myself, I believe one should learn the hard way.

They must repent, or face the same fate.

Koga: ...

Rei: He did not understand. He did not understand why he had been treated so negatively. He thought it was utterly irrational.

Angry and unhappy, he believed this current situation was the incorrect reality—

He tried to reshape history into what he believed to be the correct version.

In the ideal, perfect reality he envisioned, he was to be my best friend, my number one supporter, my most loyal subject—

He would be close to me, and loved by me.

Kaoru: This is kinda silly but, isn’t that basically what we’re like now?

Rei: Mhm. To be honest, I think he wanted to be a part of UNDEAD.

This time the culprit was a pitiful shell of a human, who yearned to be brought to life again. He was unable to be resurrected.

𝗝𝘂𝗻: GODDAMN ...There's something annoying about the fact that it's basically a ton of project, but sometimes student exchanges occur normally.

I felt like I was being completely and utterly driven by someone else's agenda.

𝗝𝗶𝗻: Haha. That's what this project was about in the first place. Especially in my time, it was hard to see the private side of idols.

That's why. When we show them the 'normal' side of us that they can relate to on programmes like this, they're overjoyed.

That's the secret to the popularity of the former "Bankara Academy".

It was one of the few places where we could claim that we're not gods or anything, we're human beings just like everyone else. People would love us even more.

The days of believing in a beautiful and precious God are long gone.

We're still learning, watching each other struggle through the mud and not losing our sparkle.

𝗝𝘂𝗻: You're saying such reasonable and good things but your drinking right now is ruining it!

𝗝𝗶𝗻: Eh~? Let me do my thing~ I've been on this project for too long, I'm out of alcohol, and I'm at my limit~

Ah and later, I'll ask the staff to put a mosaic on me.

𝗝𝘂𝗻: Don't show yourself in front of the camera talking like that! How much do you want to disappoint your former fans, Jin Sagami!?

𝗝𝗶𝗻: I'm just exposing the bare bones of me, true to the concept of a reality show!

It's always tough being an idol because there are so many more rules to follow than there are for normal people.

Even in the live-action adaptations of bad cartoons, they obey the legal speed limit and drink tea instead of alcohol.

It's a terrible deception, though. If we break it, we'll be out of the 'normal' in a bad way.

I'm still unsympathetic and never loved.

I'm a role model, and you guys can learn from that. Yeah. Here, have a drink.

𝗝𝗶𝗻: Haha. You guys might not understand this, but most of the people who are attracted to the word 'youth' are old people who have already gone through the process of youth.

I feel a bit sorry for you who have to waste your youth on an old man who just wants to be nostalgic.

I used to devote everything to my idol days. Family reunions, my silly but happy and joyful youth.

For me, my time at "Bankara Academy", despite all the deceptions, was a proper adolescence. I did a lot of stupid, normal high-school boys' stuff.

When I hear the word youth, I think of my time at "Bankara Academy".

Apart from that, I only have memories of school life, of acting like a manzai duo with Akiyan.

𝗝𝘂𝗻: Hmm. So that's how you usually felt about it, and that's why you were helping to organise the "Bankara Academy" this time.

𝗝𝗶𝗻: Yep. I'm one of those old farts everywhere who misses his youth♪

Times have changed. I'm sure you guys have a much healthier and more correct youth than we do, but...

I hope that the times you spent at "Bankara Academy" with people your own age, having a lot of fun, will be a happy memory of your youth.

Sensei will do whatever he can to make that happen.

𝗝𝗶𝗻: It's just a matter of time. One thing I can tell you is that idols who are disliked by the brass and the staff don't make it big.

I'm not saying you have to sell your charms, but at the very least, you should fulfil the role you've been given. If you do that, you can usually get by.

I guess I didn't have any outstanding talent compared to others, but the fact that I was called a Super Idol was proof of that.

I've just been serious, dedicated, and kept up the act that was required of me.

But that just means I don't have anything to worry about, right, "Sagami-sensei"?

I learned the skills of an idol and the etiquette of an idol from you.

grumpy from work 'yato in which case i appease by: letting him rest his head in my lap and comb my fingers through his hair while he rants abt work and ask me what i think could help, etc. like a vent + bonding + brainstorming session all in one! life as a public figure can be hard and he can only ever show this side in private with those he trusts, so he really appreciates it when i do this for him.

grumpy from prolonged time of being apart in which he initiates physical touch more than usual like randomly leaning his head onto my shoulder or sneakily searching for my hand to hold it. when i raise an eyebrow at him, his excuse is just "i need to make up for the painful and excruciating time i spent apart from you" — it's only been a day and i thought i was the clingy one. heizou is deffo vv chipper! he always gets up to many adventures for work or to follow his intuition and he often offers me an invite! i, a concerned human being, tag along to "rope him out of trouble" — but i'd be lying if i say his adventures aren't fun and he brings out my spontaneous side which i'm vv grateful for (because i suck at that <//3). heizou also likes to sneak up on me and pull the "guess who?" prank! the correct answer sometimes changes from the most capable detective in inazuma to beloved soulmate to more cheesy stuff, pfft.

as for kuni. emotionally distant tsundere brat who is secretly considerate. OPEN UP, LET ME LOVE YOU. (/lh) but i think out of the two, kuni is the most affection-deprived but it'll take time to have him admit it (sighing because he's cute for that) 😮‍💨

Requestober 2023 Sketches

The playlist has returned for this year! There will be a few in between, but it should be updating at least once a week on either Wednesday or Friday or both - keep an eye out for your req(s)!

Day 4 got some subtle Black Eye, they are a great pair ♪ You can see I couldn’t fully decide on posing - this will be a theme lol - maybe Sylvia loafing and poking her nose up at Peepers? Or just man-handling him into a snuggle lol, I almost went with that one! But I still ended up going with the first sketch after all, his half-squinted eye was too cute to pass up!

Day 6′s first sketch was also a first-try-correct but lemme try something else lol, I’m glad I went with this one though! Friend looks very fluffy, as does Ghostbur <3 Thank goodness for digital cleaning, Phil’s arm completely confounded me traditionally lol, same with the wings actually

The alt is still cute tho, and sad :’) Ghostbur would still consider Phil his dad! And yes he’s not exactly Will, Phil’s kid ahh </3 And yet he still gets to hug him!! The piece of him that remembers him! It hurts ♥

Day 10 was a great excuse to draw blood lol, I can’t not ♪ I ran out of room since this was the last sketch of the page so while I fully intended for the bloody knife to be continuous with the rest of him, I had to puzzle-piece it all together haha ♫ He’s so scribbly lol

Day 15 was so fun!! Ahhh!! As I mentioned in the tags, I got the notification for this one while I was offline and dozing but even in that state of mind, this was the image that immediately bloomed in my head! I am so pleased I got to make it exactly as intended haha ♪ They’re so cute <3 And it’s always fun to draw Mitsu reacting like “O//o//O” even just in emoji form lol

Day 16′s was fun and silly - I only ended up with the one sketch, it’s been too long since I’ve drawn a Core! It hasn’t been all that long since I’ve watched a Meet the Cores but it has been long while since I’ve picked up Portal 2 or Mel, it’s too bad ‘cause they’re both so cute haha. But I mean, all this Portal stuff has inspired me to get back to playing so hmmm :3c

Day 17 had those two options but for me it wasn’t even a question lol - I do of course love RGB but I’ve made a habit of drawing him! And I did get to draw him later as well, so I got all the character diversity I could ask for haha. I’m so sad that I missed out on the “tk” SFX in the final version, I made it and then just forgot to turn the layer back on before exporting lol, just hear it in your head if you would ♪

Day 18, more blood! Moreeee! Thank you for all the Yanderapy attention this year ahhh, it’s so gratifying to know these boys are being enjoyed ♥ I love them too! And it was doubly fun to imagine them playing into their baser urges, yandere-wise haha ♪ What’s the fun of a yandere if they can’t have a little blood, as a treat? Hehe ♫ Mitsuru’s swirly eyes are one of my favourite yandere features of his, drawing it in full swing was really fun :D

Day 19, a bit of Ranboo ♥ It’s been long enough that I’d forgotten how much I enjoy Ranboo! c!Ranboo as well as The Guy haha, they’ve gotten more chaotic lately it seems, good for them. He’s also still quite fun to draw, that’s just good character design for you ♪ A cute little squished face, wanting to go out and play. You can kinda tell from the flower boxes that even traditionally I wasn’t all that detail-oriented for this one lol

Day 20 got a lot of concept art! Making new outfits will do that lol, started with just deciding what their sweets theme would be - Mitsuru was so obviously ube and buttercream that it hurts lol, and you can see there was a bit more deliberation with Ishida. Salted lemon, and he was supposed to keep the lattice motif - we’ll get there :P

Outfit designing! Ishida’s was a OHKO - you can’t see it in the final version since he’s angled away but his buttons are salt stones! And he’s also got asymmetrical salt “freckles” around his left eye :) Mitsu’s was a little over-complicated so he needed a second pass

But only a second pass! A chunky sweater with the swirls was absolutely the correct choice, and then since zippers don’t exist in the JD universe (lol) he gets buttons!

Finally they got their final version! You can see from the sliced version that originally they were meant to have three sections apiece for both limbs, buuut that ended up being overly visually busy, so I gave them two for their arms and three for their legs :) All the other posing and everything was pretty much perfect though! :D

This is the most correct version of their clothes for their cut-up frame; I was in a bit of a rush for the gif version so a few elements are missing, like Ishida’s aforementioned lattice design element :’D Just try to not look too hard at the final version for these details specifically lol ♪ Oh the foibles of trying to be speedy!

Technically not Requestober but I was inspired by my own idea of them switch-stitching their limbs back together lol - lemon ube?? I guess that might work...

Day 21 got a concept sketch before starting - Luci’s glares are very cute hehe ♪ I was sure I could push it cuter tho >:3c

And I was right! I called this an alt but honestly this was the correct choice from the beginning lol ♪ Long ears are so fun to pose, extra expressions! I had a bit of trouble with his arms, but I think that’s just a me-not-knowing-how-to-draw-arms-lately thing lol

Day 22 was also very close to the end of the page so I was a bit cramped! Their faces are definitely the most important element - especially considering RGeeBs has one here! - so I wanted to give them a bit of extra attention. I really like his sharp nose hehe ♪ And Hero’s hand doing the classic cartoony pinky-up with her white gloves ugh it’s so cute <3

They did get a very tiny fullbody sketch tho haha ♪ For how it turned out here, I’m doubly happy with RGB’s pose in the final! Especially his legs :D

Speaking of tiny, day 24 was super tiny!! I always draw the stick figures tiny tho haha, they’re such cute little pops of colour on my page :) I’m glad as well that I could make all the colours clean digitally - the colours got a bit mixed traditionally lol

Fun fact: Day 25 didn’t get a traditional sketch! It’d been too long since I’d drawn GLaDOS so I felt a little better to just have the references right there in the same canvas lol. My initial digital sketches are always a bit chaotic, lots of very energetic lines! It does make me all the more determined to make her design readable in my style >:3c

I started forgetting to label what day they were around day 26 haha, but I started with them side-by-side - I wanted them to show off their outfits a bit more but it felt a little stiff :P Obviously Sinister would be uncomfortable in heavier clothes tho, so I went with that thought ♪ Poor Stanley haha

The alt ended up taking it since interacting is way more fun than not! I haven’t drawn Stanley using sign language in a hot minute which is too bad! It’s very fun to do! He’s not going to listen to you Stanley, no matter what you do

Day 28 gave me a bunch of thoughts but since it was fairly open-ended, I wasn’t sure where to take it at first! Angst just has so many possible roads! Initially, featured here, I considered them getting caught - them in a police light was a very cool concept for my lighting-focused brain this season haha - but it still wasn’t quite right. Maybe because Ishida actually looks stressed, noo D:

The plot just kinda picked up from there, the idea of Ishida killing Mitsuru since they were caught, and then what I eventually ended up with - all while trying to fight against limited space and a not-the-best art day, just gotta keep powering through despite the obstacles!

But I did finally land on the idea I wanted the most :) Originally this one was going to have two panels but I couldn’t make it look right, switching back and forth between them :P I’m glad I finally got to it in the end! It was a struggle haha

Day 29 got Fellplates!Gaster! Heck yeah! :D It’s been a while since I’ve drawn him so I had to get back into the swing of it lol - I actually booted him on “April 1st” by changing my clock and then my internet refused to connect to certain sites?? What the heck is that about. Well either way, I got him! He is cute haha

I really was tempted to give him something to do with other Fellplates members, but the lack of references confounded me! Ah! You can probably tell which one was meant to be Alphys huh lol ♪ Him and his sense of loyalty ah 💔 Well, self-destruction is a common ley line for him huh haha

And then what I finally ended up with ♪ He has a slightly more open expression here, but I do like the somewhat sinister edge the final version ended up with :3c The backlighting begged for it!! And everyone needs cool backlighting haha

Day 30′s TSP/Portal crossover!! It’s such a classic idea, I am actually honestly surprised that this is my first foray into it - I’ve thought about it forever! I’ve drawn them adjacently! But this is my first time actually drawing them interacting?? How?? Well I’m glad I have now haha, they’re so- they’re just so them, y’know? Lol

Y’get a bonus because the idea of Stanley and Chell just kinda vibing in a test chamber and Stanley reacting - which you can see the barest of unfinished sketch there on the right lol - to having his Bucket taken from him, it was too good not to haha. Chell is indifferent lol

Day 31, last day! I actually drew this the night beforehand, very quickly thus the scribbliness haha. Sometimes that’s all you need, just to get the image out! You can see with the SFX, despite being noiseless in the final version, I was thinking of the static right away :) I’m quite happy with how it all turned out hehe <3

That’s all the general sketches from this year! A good solid mix of things! Very fun :D
