What is the Delhi-Meerut RRTS?

The design speed of the line is 180 km/h, the average speed is 100 km/h, and the train sets are equipped with the most modern high-tech technology that guarantees a comfortable ride. RRTS trains are being built at Savli in Gujarat with a capacity of 40 trains. Thirty six-car RRTS trains and ten three-car MRTS trains are being manufactured for the Meerut Local Transit System, with the sets scheduled to be released for trial runs this year.

RRTS is a project to connect many areas within the National Capital Region (NCR). In this project, passengers will have the opportunity to travel comfortably. This will be different from conventional rail transport. This is a regional service. It will ensure fast and reliable transportation of passengers from place to place. There is a difference between metro service and RRTS. The former will allow passengers to travel relatively long distances at a higher speed and with fewer stops at stations.

The National Capital Region Transit System (NCRTC) is building the country's first Regional Rail Transit System (RRTTS). RRTTS is a high-speed and high-frequency rail regional transit system. The design speed of the RRTTS is 180 km/h, and the average speed is 100 km/h.

The first phase of the RRTS network will consist of three corridors. The Delhi-Gurgaon-Alwar corridor (82 km) is progressing at a fast pace. The Delhi-Alwar-Gurgaon-Alwar-Gurgaon km) is also in the pipeline. In Uttar Pradesh, including Delhi, work is underway on the Delhi-Mumbai corridor (103 km). Works on the Ghaziabad-Bombay corridor include Delhi. An elevated corridor is largely being built in this corridor. Phase 1 of the first phase will cover an area of about 14 km in Delhi, of which 4 km will be underground. Only Anand Vihar will have a metro station in Delhi. Other stations in Delhi will be Sarai Kale Khan, Ashok Nagar, and Anand Vihar. The first phase of the fast rail will not take more than an hour from Delhi to Meerut.

The North Carolina Regional Transportation Commission (NCRTC) is a collective entity comprised of four contiguous states.

The NCRTC is a public-private partnership between the Government of India and four Indian states. Its mission is to establish a regional rapid transit system in the state capital region. The operation of this system will improve job opportunities and facilities and open up new markets and opportunities. Long distances, which are difficult now, will become much easier with RRTS operation, and traffic will also increase.

To this end, the government has identified several crucial areas related to transportation mobility where significant policy reforms can be started.

For our nation to be connected and to promote economic progress, a system of intelligent transportation infrastructure is essential.
