Look, I'm really gay and a simp for Mikasa. Also, I've been obsessed with Royalty tropes. This thing came out of my brain as a result. Hope you enjoy it, I guess.

Princess reader who gets an arranged marriage with prince Eren Jaeger. Both Eren and the princess are miserable with this situation. Eren wants to be a traveler and explore the world's hidden mysteries. The princess wants to be free from the duty of marriage and child bearing.

Unfortunately, princess and Eren get married. They make an agreement to act as a couple only to the public, but never in private. They become good friends with time and learn to appreciate each other's companies and advice.

One day, an assassination attempt endangers the princess's life and Eren decides that she needs more personal protection. He sends a letter to his sister, Mikasa, a well known strong shield maiden and also a very trusted person. Mikasa agrees to look after her brother's wife.

What Mikasa didn't expect is to find the princess extremely ethereal and beautiful. She tries to play it off as normal because everyone simps for a princess from time to time (right? It's normal, right?).

Princess is utterly in love with Mikasa. As soon as Eren introduced his sister, the princess was too focused on how beautiful and divine the dark haired woman looked. That moment the princess knew she had to get that cutie for herself.

The princess wore the most beautiful dresses, perfumed herself, braided and decorated her hair. She made sure to look pretty for her shield maiden. Everyday they would go for a peaceful stroll around the gardens, talking about the gossip from the previous day. In the afternoons, the princess would take Mikasa to the library and read books with her. In the evenings, the princess insisted that Mikasa sat beside her during dinner. Eren was a little confused but happy that his sister and wife were friends.

One day, Mikasa has to travel for a small mission assigned by her brother. The princess gets really sad, but understands it. Eren assures her that the trip will only last a week and Mikasa will be back very soon. The princess patiently waits, and waits and waits.

After two weeks, a group of shield man come back with a wounded Mikasa and all hell breaks loose. Eren is worried because his sister is almost invulnerable and the princess is worried she won't make it. Fortunately, Mikasa is stable and will recover soon.

During her recovery, the princess wouldn't leave Mikasa on her own. She takes care of her wounds and feeds her when she isn't feeling strong enough to do so. While Mikasa sleeps, the princess kisses her forehead and tells her "I love you" thinking the shield maiden is not listening.

Mikasa of course hears that, but doesn't say anything because she is confused and not sure she wasn't hallucinating. She recovers and everything goes back to normal, but those three words torment the shield maiden's mind.

Mikasa looks for signs that the princess might have romantic feelings for her. All the while she feels guilty because Eren is her husband. She doesn't want to hurt her brother's feelings by pursuing his wife.

All the while Eren is a little too dumb to notice both women are clearly head over heels for one another. It takes Armin to actually tell him "bro, they're in love we have to do something because I can't take this anymore" (let's say Mikasa likes to barge Armin's chambers and complain that the princess is so cute, and pretty, and lovely).

Eren and Armin make a plan (more like Armin does all the planning and Eren is the moral support) to send both women to a very beautiful and secluded castle owned by the Jaeger family. They tell both girls is a safety measure and Mikasa completely agrees to take the princess there.

The princess and her shield maiden arrive on the castle and have a lot of fun walking around and exploring the library and the surrounding forest. They decide to have a picnic and end up kissing, with only the sunset as their witness.

When they arrive back home, Eren and Mikasa have a conversation. Eren tells his sister he doesn't have feelings for the princess and that he would be more than happy to have his sister and friend be married.

In the end, Mikasa and the princess get married with Eren and Armin as witnesses (Armin got his license to marry and unmarry people). Eren and princess are still married to the public, but in private she is Mikasa's wife.

This was supposed to be a short thing about a current brainrot and then it turned into headcanons and you can read my motivation dwindle into nothingness.

I've been thinking about a poly relationship between Erwin, Levi, Eren and Mika. I don't even like some of these pairings individually, but together it's very intriguing.

I don't even know what to call this Eruererivamika? Erumikarenri? Ackerman's and their angry men? Mikasa's harem?

The idea of Eren and Mika lovingly annoying the shit out of out of the other two and vice versa is adorable.

Levi would never be cold, he would never get the chance. At least one of them would always be there to smother him with cuddles.

I can only think of 3 downsides to this rn. (Warning I bounce between scout and modern au and there is barely and structure to this.)

1. Possessiveness, but if they are as Possessive as each other would it still create problems? Levi is the only one I can't imagine being that possessive. The other 3 though...eh they are going to have to communicate about that...which leads me into the next problem.

2. Communication, I'M NOT SAYING THEY CAN'T COMMUNICATE WITH EACHOTHER!! they can, it's just not there strongest skills. They would definitely have to work on it.

I always saw Mikasa as someone who would bottle all her problems up till she exploded. Sadness, anger, anxieties, and all the other stresses from this kind of relationship, and being a scout on top of all that. All being thrown out at once the minute conflict starts. Probably not a great mix with Eren.

I don't see Eren bottling up his frustrations with them at all, probably the start of most arguments. another worry with him is well violence, now I'm not saying he would hit one, he would never (he would cry). But throwing something (not in their direction obviously) or breaking furniture, his phone, a wall...this isn't sounding great oof....ima come back to Eren after the other two...

Levi, he is good at communicating and problem solving, he'd never initiate it though. He probably doesn't get an opportunity to say what's frustrating him when Mika and Eren start either. I can either see Levi completely shutting down during a conflict or if one of them pisses him off, he joins in (probably Eren insulted Mika so Levi insults Eren and then this goes back and forth while Mika cries.) (I thought I was projecting a bit on Mika's but oh boy, anyways i love anxious ball of Levi.)

Now Erwin, the only good communicator in this relationship. The one who can deescalate the argument and help them all communicate their feelings calmly and clearly. Now I'm not saying this man would never get mad at them and argue, but he has a much better control over his emotions and can think up of a solution to Mika and Erens yelling contest and Levi's aversion to it.

I did say I'd come back to Eren, but now I'm over procrastinating what i was supposed to be doing before, and am now procrastinating this.

I could totally act like there was never a third problem that I forgot, but it's going to bug me so maybe I'll reblog and add it or something if I ever remember it.

Anyways the best solution to their problems is....therapy. All 4 of them need it desperately.

No promises of me ever actually coming back to this, clearly I have commitment issues.

Ok I want to start reading beyond the walls, don't spoil but is it tragic? I'd really like to read it but plz tell me if it has a sad ending because I'm not really in the mood of sad fic rn. I'm dealing with my own brainrots and don't want to add more to them.

so how to best describe this fic....you know those moments when you experience something that makes you feel truly blessed, so incredibly thankful to be alive? Reading this fic is one of those moments- particularly if you are a massive whore for rivamika (guilty). And to really drive this point home- at present, theres probably like 4 lines of explicit smut in the entire fic and you see MY slutty ass slobbering over it as much as i do should tell you everything you need to know about it. This fic is smut for the HEART and SOUL foremost, ovaries second and i'll STILL stan it until the end of my slutty days.

now, to put it lightly, its one of those "they're in love your honor, they're just idiots" stories- the conclusion SHOULD be satisfying (i may have threatened the author with physical violence otherwise lol) but there is a fair bit of angst to go through to get there. However, if you are just starting off now you will be spared drowning in the agonizingly angsty torture Levi and Mikasa put themselves through/as well as for yourself waiting for the next chapter update.

Which, in my opinion, comes naturally with these characters- they are both haunted souls, cursed to survive, doomed to be relics. Despite being humanity's strongest, they are absolute cowards (whether consciously or subconsciously can be debated) when it comes to their feelings. So that can be aggravating, but honestly it will only make the payoff in the end THAT much sweeter.

I would be remiss in not mentioning the way @helena-thessaloniki goes about describing Mikasa and Levi's interactions- well, i dont want to say better as each their own, but it is certainly of a different caliber. I cannot recall the last time i was so affected by the written word. These scenes are so exquisitely tender, so achingly intimate that i had to look away, put down my tablet and just collect myself.

Just one simple sentence will fully encapsulate the utmost level of emotional empathy/understanding, i had to reread it sometimes to process it fully because it would be so succinctly put yet be so loaded with subtext. Poetic silk on a page at its finest. Here are some of my favorite lines:

Amber skies make vibrant promises they can’t keep. Mikasa watches the remnants of the sunset; not because it’s beautiful, but because it’s a battle with a predictable end.

No, it's a look, a touch, and a kiss that anchors her fully in the present and convinces her she is safe. And though it asks for nothing, it promises everything.

"You think I hated you for beating the shit out of Eren or almost killing Armin, how much more do you think I loved you for all the times you saved them?"

I realize this is getting long and coming off like an open letter so in conclusion, Beyond the Walls is nothing short of magical and you would be robbing yourself from a wonderous experience by not reading it. Please do.

I get so many Rivamika feels these days. They both have been through so much shit when they deserve nothing but a cup of hot tea, lotsa hugs and tranquility. Levi honestly deserves to retire and set up a tea shop. Mikasa deserves to grow old with Armin and Eren. Seriously it's just so fucking sad to think about how Levi is crippled; all his hopes of giving meaning to his dead comrades and fulfilling his vow to Erwin shattered. Not to mention Erwin himself is dead. And I can't even begin to stress on Mikasa's suffering - like she has to live on (and keep fighting) knowing that she'll eventually lose her family - Eren and Armin- too. The psychological toll all the chaos imposes on the Ackermans is just too much to take. I'm not even considering their constant brush with violence, terror and extreme social decadence from a young age. Anyway, I'm just too full of feels for them rn and desperately in need of warm Ackerman moments. I really really hope Yams will give us an Ackerman pep talk (and hugs too perhaps) before the ending. And he did affirm that the manga would end tragically so, all the more reason why we need an intimate moment between the Ackermans. Both of them had to let go of their Ackerbonds (Levi literally and Mikasa at some level) and now they only have each other to abide in. Their relationship is still a bit awkward when you think about it but, we know they are connected and I'm hoping with all my heart that, by the end of the manga, they warm up to each other and begin sharing their life - all the joy, sorrow and pain.
