Girls I am on the fucking brink for realsies this time.
#I am on Tumblr Desktop for the first time in probably years and first of all. it sucks ass#but also. what the fuckkkkkkkk is happening to me#somebody has cursed me. for real.#(pause to say I do enjoy typing on keys. I have missed that if nothing else)#anyways. so first. didn't find my debit card and had to report it lost and get a replacement that could take up to 2 weeks to get.#so no money for 2 weeks. yippee.#and like 2 hours ago my phone shut off for no reason and now I cannot get it to turn back on. I've been trying for 2 hours.#it's not dead. it didn't get wet or dropped. it didn't overheat. it just shut off and will not come back on.#so for 2 hours I was completely unable to complain on here. which is the real issue tbh#I have NO money and NO phone. I can't even fucking buy another phone right now if I had the money.#what's next??? my car?????? (probably)#but like. Happy Pride Month! At a glance, you might think we're being silly again, and I wouldn't blame you. How on earth could Luigi (Lederhosen) possibly relate to Pride Month?
Well, take a closer look at his hat... do you see it?
That's right! Luigi (Lederhosen) is proud to be German! And what better way to celebrate that pride than to wolf down a thick, juicy sausage? After spending so long in the closet as an Italian-passing man, Luigi has decided to start showing his true self! Congratulations on coming out, Luigi! We're as proud of you as you should be of yourself!
The concept of a Mario gacha game is really, really funny to me. If you've followed this blog for a significant amount of time, you know Mario has a PLETHORA of wacky and obscure characters you could fill up a gacha with!
But ol' Nintendo has a very specific idea of how the Mario brand should look, and none of those characters are part of it! So instead, they have to either dig deep for the most obscure Basic Mario Characters they can think of (this is how Goomba Tower and Baby Wario got their doctorates!) OR dress up the Main Mario Cast in a variety of silly outfits! Mario Kart Tour opts for the latter!
And since Mario Kart Tour has courses based on real world locations... that's how Luigi (Lederhosen) was born!
Luigi (Lederhosen) was put into the game alongside Berlin Byways, or rather, Berlin Byways 2 because that's the version they implemented first for some reason. But I'm going to use a picture of Berlin Byways 1 on account of I think it's funnier. They turned the Berlin Wall into a wacky Mario Kart stage hazard with Whomps! And now it advertises BaNaNa Boy, yippee! Let one slip! Not long now until this gets ported to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!

Luigi (Lederhosen) is a character in a gacha game, a rare character at that, and one that's only available during limited periods! If you want to unlock our frankfurter friend, you're gonna have to grind, and the odds are stacked against you... the game wants you to crack under the pressure! They want you to spend your money on overpriced rubies, and even then, it's STILL only a chance! Gacha systems are the WURST!
I was lucky enough to get Luigi (Lederhosen) in Mario Kart Tour without spending any money, but I am not a better woman for it. I think it's unfair that most people will never get a taste of Luigi's sausage! Everyone should be allowed to witness Luigi wave his wiener around in pride!

Something where the joker out guys are sick of Bojan and Jere pining for each other and being totally oblivious so they scheme to get them together/admit their feelings/kiss whatever. I'm not sure exactly how they can do that but maybe someone else has an idea for some sneaky plans or how to trick them into a situation

So since my rose-colored Gray Wing glasses have been torn of my face and stomped into tiny pieces, I’m now wondering if my perception of Clear Sky’s arc is also skewed. I thought his redemption arc was well done (until Star Flower came back) because he was sincerely trying, wasn’t expecting forgiveness, and (unlike a lot of redemption arcs) was not forgiven by most of the characters right away because of how bad his actions were. Until he got with Star Flower, I thought his redemption arc was damn near perfect. Do I have on rose-colored glasses for his redemption arc?
Clear Sky's "redemption arc" is one of the most incompetent bits of writing that has ever blighted the entire series and I promise you I'm not doing hyperbole. It is so bad that it drags down everything it touches, including Gray Wing, Thunder, Acorn Fur, and the entire concept of StarClan.
And, unfortunately, both things you cited there absolutely did not happen, I am going to have to eat your glasses. I'm gonna munch. I'm gonna cRUNCH

He wasn't. He just stopped actively shredding random people on his border and then whines that he's "Trying So Hard," using it as yet another guilt trip tactic because he's still an abuser.
The SECOND anyone gives him any criticism (FOR BRINGING A WIFEBEATER INTO HIS CLAN MIND YOU), he twists the fact they're supposed to "forgive him" against them, starts calling Gray Wing slurs for having asthma, and gets offended at a warning while huffing, "no one tells me what to do!"
Like a big fucking baby
And he only let Tom into his clan (even implying he's not a REAL cat because he's fat + an ex-kittypet) because he promised he could show him how to "fight dirty."
AND ALSO he is fully aware that this man kidnapped children in a previous book; but Blazing Star completely forgets major details of the previous three books in a way that is absolutely unacceptable. You are practically reading a new continuity.
"He was not forgiven by the other characters right away"
He was. He was literally, immediately forgiven in the very opening of Blazing Star. By Gray Wing and Thunder, because the narrative decided that Everyone Is Responsible.
Even back in First Battle, right after the fight ends we get a line that gives Bramblestar a run for his money. "WE let it get too far." The narrative even scrambles for some reason to make a woman responsible and grabs Tall Shadow for some fucking reason.
Acorn Fur doesn't even mention that CLEAR SKY WAS STARVING HER FATHER before she decides to move in with him, because she would miss her parents too much on the moor... those parents who just died. In the battle Clear Sky started.
Everyone immediately forgives him and kisses his butt because "The guilt will hurt him more than any actual consequences :((( He was just under so much pressure of leading guys.... which is why he should continue to lead............"
I've actually had a hard time continuing my reread because I've actually been fucking enraged at how Thunder is swooning over his daddy "finally looking at him" uwu
This is painted like a good thing. This is a sweet and nice thing that finally, the abusive ghoul who shoved his face into a festering wound and said he shouldn't have been born just before trying to kill him and all of his friends 'respects him.' Oh Joyous Day Yippee Hooray!
How this ruins the other characters
It destroys Gray Wing because it makes ALL this dogshit behavior that he displayed for the first three books correct. In spite of how GOD awful this "Redemption Arc" is, you are supposed to believe that there is good "deep down" within Clear Sky. That all of this abuse apologia was wisdom. Gray was, and IS, right to take every insult and understand it as humility, and the Clear Sky on the page is actually a Good Boi who Really Does Love His Clan.
It ruins Thunder because even after ALL of that physical and emotional abuse and neglect, he's still supposed to honor Clear Sky as "You'll always be my father." These destructive impulses to want his approval are good and natural in this narrative, not something to confront or fundamentally question.
Fuck, just look at the Tom Redemption. The writers LOVE abusive parents. Even if they beat the shit out of your mom, get her killed, kidnap you, and had no part in raising you, "they still love you and would die for you." Tom's Redemption and Clear Sky's Redemption are just different lines in the same song.
Acorn Fur moves in with the guy who held one of her parents hostage and ultimately got both of them killed
And STARCLAN forms to "tell clear sky what to do," because in the baffling Fear vs Greed Dichotomy this series thinks is some kind of thesis, Clear Sky was just "afraid," not "greedy," and that means his fucked up little head can be fixed by the comfort a religious force can bring. He wasn't abusive because he loves having power over people, the thing that is right there on the page, nope, he really was just worried about death or responsibility or something.
This isn't even getting to the person he is in later material. He's a MONSTER in Moth Flight's Vision, as if his growth never happened.
And this is taking him all at face value-- in a meta sense, the sheer amount of female characters that get brutalized just for his man pain is legitimately dizzying. 2 mates die, 2 innocent women slaughtered, a child beaten and another starved to death, and even pregnant Star Flower gets pinned to the ground and licked on the face as her assaulter talks about how much he wanted her as a mate
This is the worst arc in the entire Warrior Cats franchise and it is spinning on the crap-axis that is Clear Sky's 'redemption'.
The arc is bad BECAUSE it is working towards this idea, that the best villain the series ever wrote has to become the writer's Poor Little Meow Meow halfway through 6 books, so we can get to our regularly scheduled Born Evil Foreigner Villains Who Hate Love And Friendship.
Imagine TPB but Fireheart cries that self defense against Clanborn cats makes you Just As Bad, Tigerstar was just scared or something, and you get two Diet Scourges. That's DOTC.

now yall know i love doing doll restorations its my favorite thing to do but dear god she was a bitch to fix :,) the person i bought her from was a "collector" themselfs so i wasn't as cautious as i normally am with buying more expensive dolls (NEVER AGIAN 😭) when i opened that box and saw how bad her condion was i started crying ( i'm very dramatic ignore me) because i didn't think i was going to be able to fix her !!! her hair was super matted at the root, thare was red paint on her legs and head, her sleeve on her jacket was ripping clean off and ripping down the inseam, her legs were super floppy and looked like they were gonna break off any second, and it looked like a fire breathing dragon ate her shoe it had black ash ?? or somthing all over it with a chunk missing !!! i was super upset especially because she cost alot of money and because she did not look like that in the photos :/ but i decided the next day to keep her and not return her and i got started !!! it took me all day yesterday with my moms help to fix her and i'm super happy with the end results !!! i still need to find a new shoe tho HAHA if any of yall have any ideas whare to get a new one or how to repair this one please lmk :D but for now she will live on my shelf very happyily !!!

YIPPEE! Hope you don't mind me using this as an opportunity to talk about the Byrgenkid's childhoods.
Laurence: His family used to be very very aristocratic before they had to flee to Yharnam (probably from one of Cainhurst's territories). They desperately tried to cling to their upper-classness despite their dwindling wealth. Lozza has been instilled with classism.
Micolash: Comes for a really really big, upper-class family. He was mostly raised by his older sisters and got shoved off to whatever boarding school would take him as soon as he was old enough.
Rom: Had a relatively good home life! She's also upper-class. I think she had a little brother she hasn't seen since she left for Byrgenwerth.
Caryll: Orphan that was dropped off on Willem's doorstep one night. They have no idea who their birth parents are and they don't really care if I'm being honest. They were raised on stories of the Great Ones and it defiantly fuels that connection they have to them.
Gehrman: Comes from a poor farming family, but they're very happy. He's always worked very very hard. I think I've said before that he took groundskeeping up at Byrgenwerth in his early 20s to support them, then when he started hunting he was offered a scholarship so he'd stick around.
Maria: Cainhurst nobility, probably also from a territory relatively removed from Yharnam (maybe the place the Rakuyo was created). She's at Byrgenwerth for funding and optics reasons. The college is run off monarchy money.
Ludwig: Sheltered rich kid. Before applying for the Byrgenwerth Hunter scholarship, I can see him never leaving his family's (admittedly massive) estate. I think he's related to Yharnam's mayor, however distantly.
Sorry, most of them are Tories.

ok so,
dgs has been something really special to me ever since i first played it, and i like the games more than the mainline ace attorney ones if im being honest. when i got kazzie in 2021 i wasn't really expecting that i would end up deciding to make an account for him at all, but here we are! i know the account started in december of that year, but i feel like i definitely did more in 2022 since i posted more that year, so i kinda see 2022 as the year of the beginning of kazzie.
but something that also happened in 2022 is that i've become really lazy (lazy is a bit of an understatement tbh) and my mind's been practically shutting down w/ ideas on what to do with regards to everything ever, and it's still ongoing so i'm in a bit of a pickle with regards to that. i've also lost a lot of motivation and have been getting absorbed into different content that has been depleting my motivation even more. i guess it's a combination of lowering mental health and interest if that makes sense. it's gotten bad to the point that i tend to just forget or not care about posting for this account sometimes.
with posting, i wanna post different things each day but everything around me is incredibly boring and i don't just wanna keep posting the same stuff each day because of the fact that im running out of things to post about. i also can’t really go out and look for stuff since i'm a minor that needs their parents to take them everywhere, and i don't really have any opportunities for cool pictures or experiences to happen because the place that i live in doesn’t have anything interesting about it at all and i also don’t have the kind of money which lets me go out and explore.
however!!! despite my dying motivation and such, i don't want to just abandon this account cuz it's brought me a lot of happiness and a lot of people have genuinely enjoyed the posts of this account (which to be honest im really surprised that y'all actually like this silly content that much but it makes me really happy to see you guys enjoying kazzie's existence as much as i do), so i'm gonna keep holding on!!!
but anyway, i'm gonna shift to weekly posts starting on the 14th of this month in the hopes that it'll help me get more picture opportunities and more motivation. i'll also change the account's name to weekly-kazzie when this happens. this won't be permanent though as i will eventually go back to daily kazzie posting once im feeling better and get enough motivation and content to post!
thank you to the probably two or three people that read this, and once again im really greatful to everyone who's enjoyed my silly lil content and posts with kazzie!

Was gonna post a rant but decided that was boring so I turned it into an epistolary poem. Yippee!!! I love poetry

I'm Fucking Exhausted
People need to stop waking me up.
I don't care who wants to borrow money,
or force me to watch them set up a printer,
or to know where the chargers are
even after I told them,
They're in the pink bucket on the counter.
If I'm woken up more than three times,
I'm going to be irritated, because
what the fuck is so important
that I need to be jerked back and forth
from my blanket cocoon to the kitchen
still freezing cold from the February air
that licks the glass sliding doors.
If any of the things I was woken up for
were important,
I probably wouldn't have gone back to sleep.
In fact, no one should ever wake me up
unless I'm late
or someone's dying.
I'm going back to bed.
