Vivzieverse Demon Types

I'm making another AU, and I'm doing some research involving the demons and their subsequent rings with the Vivzieverse!

I'll go into all seven rings, themes, and attributes of their residents, as well as notable features and demons who reside there.

1. Pride Ring

This is the ring we are most frequently shown, due to it being the base of operations in Helluva Boss, and all sinners being confined to the pride ring, leading it to be the main setting, with very few members of the main cast able to venture to other rings.

Main occupants: Sinners, Imps, Succubi.

Noteable occupants: Lucifer Morningstar, Lilith Magne/Morningstar (formerly) Charlie Morningstar, Vaggie, Angel Dust, Alastor, Husker, Niffty, Cherri Bomb, Blitzo Buckzo, Moxxie Knolastname, Millie, Loona, etc.

Ruler: Lucifer Morningstar

Design Tips: Sinners are largely based on animals with a specific attachment to how they lived/died, though not all are. Sinners also retain marks of their death [ex. The 'x' on Alastor's forehead, presumably from where he was shot as a human, mistaken for a dear. Hence his dear-like form.]

Color: Red

2. Wrath Ring

This ring has been shown in the season one episode of Helluva Boss, "Harvest Moon Festival." Due to the sheer amounts of Imps here, with very, very few other species of demons, it is probable that Imps are native to the Wrath Ring.

Main occupants: Imps

Noteable Occupants: Millie (formerly), Millie's family, Striker

Ruler: Currently unknown. [I am aware that it is listed as Samael or Satan in most lists, but I'm going off of strictly Vivzieverse lore + characters]

Design Tips: See bottom for Imp design notes.

Color: Reddish-orange, Orange

3. Gluttony

The gluttony ring is home to most hellhounds as shown in part two of the season one of Helluva Boss, "Queen Bee." Hellhounds are most likely native to the Gluttony Ring.

Main occupants: Hellhounds, Imps

Noteable Occupants: Beezelbub, Vortex, Vikki, Vikki's friends, Esme, etc.

Ruler: Beezelbub

Design Tips: Hellhounds are largely based on, as the name suggests, dogs, wolves, and other hounds. They are among the very few demons to have visible ears, and almost always have fur in some capacity.

Color: Yellow

4. Greed

The Gluttony Ring was first shown in the episode "Loo-Loo Land" during season one of Helluva Boss. It seems to be home to Hell's entertainment industry, barring the demon overlord, Vox, who is confined to the Pride Ring on the grounds of being a sinner. This ring seems to specialize, from what we've seen, in engineering and animatronics, as well as jesters/clown shows.

Main Occupants: Imps (?)

Noteable Occupants: Mammon, Moxxie Knolastname (formerly) Moxxie's mother (deceased) Crimson Knolastname, Crimson's Mafia, Chazwick Thurman (deceased)

Ruler: Mammon (?)

Design Tips: See bottom for Imp designs.

Color: Green

5. Lust

The Lust Ring was first shown in the season one episode of Helluva Boss, "Ozzie's". It houses the adult entertainment industry (though in a more tactful and consensual manner than the Pride Ring overlord, Valentino)

Main Occupants: Imps, Succubi

Noteable Residents: Asmodeous, Fizzarolli, Jesse

Ruler: Asmodeous

Design tips: Imps and Succubi are similar in design -- the horms of succubi tend to lean on the smaller side, and most have wings. Succubi seem to lack the malformed heart often on the upper center of some Imp's foreheads.

6. Envy

Very little is known about the Envy Ring, as it has not been shown yet in either Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel. It can be inferred that it is where the water from Lust runs down to, as most of it's assumed occupants are aquatic. It is possible that the Loan Sharks are from this ring. A social media app on Blitz's phone is supposedly from Envy.

Main Occupants: None known

Noteable Residents: Glitz and Glam (note the water imagery during their song in "Mammon’s Magnificent Musical Mid-Season Special ft. Fizzarolli" and one of the longer color changes is reminiscent of the purple of envy.)

Ruler: Currently Unknown

Design Tips: wavy characteristics would be most fitting, as well as undersea animal attributes such as fins.

Color: A color palette of blues, greens, or purples is typical.

7. Sloth

Sloth was first seen in the season two episode of Helluva Boss, "Western Energy" and seems to run the medical industry. As mentioned by Beelzebub in "Queen Bee," Sloth also has a vast supply of "party drugs," and most likely several intoxicants in general, some for medical use, others for recreational use. Water from the upper Rings flows down in waterfalls.

Main Occupants: Baphoments

Notable Residents: Dr. Somna, Muffy, unnamed nurses

Ruler: Belphegor

Design Tips: The Baphoments have goat-like attributes, down to the hooves and horns. Many, if not all, have a candle and flame sticking from their heads. Some have wings.

Color: Purplish pinks

IMPS:

Imps have traditionally red skin due to their roots in the Wrath ring, though others have a variety. All have large horns, and most have a malformed heart on the upper center of their foreheads. Burns and other spots appear white.

It is also worth noting that the imps reside in all seven rings, I just listed the rings where I noticed a very large number of them in the backgrounds.

Sayori tends to catch feelings for people very easily, but very rarely acts on them. She doesn't think she's good enough for anyone, and believes she'd only burden them in any potential relationship. She doesn't want to hurt anyone, or ruin a good friendship. I don't think she would really think about her sexuality very often or strictly define it, because she "has a lot of love for everybody!", so she'd probably just ambiguously identify as queer and let her actions speak for themselves.

Yuri initially tries to avoid the conversation entirely. It's not that she's ashamed per se, more like she's had bad experiences with people in the past, and finds the entire concept of romance to be very embarrassing to talk about openly. She's accepted her sexuality as just another thing that makes her "weird", and mostly keeps it to herself because she doesn't really want any of her relationship with the others to change. She doesn't want any of them to "get the wrong idea and think she's creepy" or anything.

Natsuki keeps it on the down low, but makes it clear that she doesn't really like boys. Maybe she likes specific ones. Fictional ones, mostly. I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other as to whether or not she's strictly lesbian or something else, but if she is attracted to men, she's the type to do the whole "Aren't you attracted to men too?" "*gag* ...yeah." bit. I think she's unlikely to personally pursue someone romantically, in large part because she's afraid that she'll hurt them.

Basically, they're all some kind of gay, they just don't really talk about it, for variable reasons.

That is, until Monika walks in one day and starts a conversation on the topic, the end of which being the reveal that "I'm...starting to think I'm not quite straight! Ahaha..."

canon. qfoolish told me himself 😌 though the "attacks people but doesn't kill them" feels like it could actually hold some weight to it. There's definitely an argument that could be made that it's his totem side not wanting to kill higher life forms as a totem of undying but i'd say it being of his shark side works just as well, if not more fitting since totem lore is less set in stone (and personal bias (i love hybrid hcs and lore))

Scott wasn’t sad.

He was in the room he had carved out not hours before, for the benefit of his team. Ironically, it had become his haven against them. His teammates, the people he built this base with, the ones who were not just participating in the hunt against him, but one of whom had instigated it. He knew logically it wasn’t personal. But that didn’t make it hurt any less.

So no, Scott wasn’t sad. He was livid.

If there was anything he hated about these games, it was being hunted. Again and again, hunted for an advantage, for time, for tasks. He despised this feeling, how his heart ramped up, how his breath went quiet on instinct, feeling like he’d gone feral. It didn’t help when he was being treated like it.

Scott leaned against the bookshelf, the uneven surface digging into his back at an awkward angle. He grated his knuckles against the stone floor, trying to ground himself, deliberately loosening his jaw. He attempted to somehow absorb the chill of the cave around him, trying to cool the fury in his chest. He could feel a hysterical, incredulous laugh bubbling in his throat, and he was sure if he spoke it would show in his voice. God, his teammates.

He was just coming off a betrayal, he thought blearily, a giggle forcing its way out. He didn’t begrudge his death, he hadn’t wanted his life to go to anyone but Martyn. No, what hurt was that it was ripped from him. He’d always worked so hard to go out on his own damn terms. No matter what. Pretending to be strong at his weakest, playing confident when he's at a disadvantage, bargaining with his own life, even when he's an inch from death and facing down a Red.

Another giggle broke free.

Covering my anger with laughter, he chuckled. All to give himself some control, some agency.

And that’s the heart of the issue, huh. They kept. taking. his choices. Both the hunters and Them.

Or trying to anyway, he thought, with a grimly satisfied smile.

He forced a breath into his lungs. He was working himself up again

Anger makes for stupid decisions, he thought, even though his lip was curling into a snarl, being stupid gets you killed.

He’d always survived by keeping cool in the face of just about everything the others threw at him. That would not change now. He would rather die than give them the satisfaction.

No, that wasn’t quite right. He wouldn't die. He was going to fucking live, and he was going keep on living. He was going to spite all of them by simply. being.

Beneath the unassuming plates of his lower regions, he can shift its appearance towards either resembling a functional penis or a vagina, though he tends to prefer the former. These genitals were created from a mixture of silicone and tech, providing him and his partners with stimulation. They suit his mechanical body and share its silver, obsidian and red palette. The red accents have embedded RGB, matching the rest of his frame. Boothill is able to modify design, size and functions as wanted, but will only do so to try out something new, on special occasions and / or if it is requested. As a small lore addendum, Boothill didn't start out with them when he was remade with a cyborg body. It was a modification he sought out later on. Some more specific details: — A good 7 ½ inches length on his dick. — His dick does have a mild vibration function. — His pussy has some small bottom growth going on! 💕 — Pussy is self-lubricating with an artificial lubricant that is secreted.

I don't think I have the time or energy for full on mageposting right now so let me just mention how badly I want a face reveal for the Holy Master in Arakawa's manga, and also say that if I didn't know spoilers from the novels I'd probably subscribe to a different theory about his identity than what turned out to be the case in canon.

(I also wanted to see his reaction to Gurgin's death, but I don't think we're going to get that now.)

I love the dark hours of my being.

#There's in Rilke and especially in this particular book a lot about the world‚ created in the beholding and loving it‚#and one existing to love the world. There's so much about the world being created by that loving and knowing the world of one individual #person that loves and knows it. A kind of feedback loop of existing and being by love and knowledge that is all a participation #on the act of creation. The person coming to exist to love and know the world‚ and creating the world by loving and beholding it #This is also present on Juan Ramón Jiménez‚ among others‚ but 5 yo me was obsessed with those poems. ANYWAY #This topic made me think of Lacie a lot but in this particular poem that topic + the 'I'm sorry' scene + the figure of Lacie beyond Lacie‚#a Lacie that's legend and real‚ a Lacie always sitting under a tree‚ life ending and life expanding so to speak‚...#That kind of knowing it all in a glimpse that is knowing in an instant and eternal (which again reminds me of Kierkegaard‚#fitting I'd say with Rilke). I'm explaining myself terribly but I don't want to talk too much haha But yeah it all seemed very fitting #There was another poem about spiralling so to speak around god that I also thought was very Lacie but very PH in general #('I live my life in widening circles / that reach out across the world. / I may not complete this last one / but I give myself to it /#I circle around God‚ around the primordial tower. / I've been circling for thousands of years / and I still don't know: am I a falcon‚ /#a storm or a great song?'). The spiralling around god in what is still some sort of emanence or reflection of it while being also #different iterations of the self which all reflect it also reminded me a lot of Cantor's transfinite numbers #Which again is quite fitting and coherent with the other authors and PH imo‚ but I may be biased. Anyway yes. Hi!

I'm doing a project for school, and I need to have some stories from real people to back up my point. My topic is representation in media and how it affects mental health. I was wondering if you had any stories about a movie/show that has helped your mental health or educated you on something? I know media and representation have really helped me to figure myself out and made me feel seen, so I wanted to do this topic because of that. Well, for me personally, the way The Owl House handles neurodiversity, and LGBTQ2S+, and disability is an eye-opening experience because it was previously unseen to this extent! Notable examples are all how all the characters are shown as no less! They don't have to be "normal" or fit in! What is normal, anyway? They're celebrated and valued for being wholeheartedly, shamelessly, and unapologetically their amazing, authentic selves! No matter who you are, you're valid, there's no normal and it's not frowned upon! The manner in which they're portrayed, they're so well written and that has helped people understand that they're actually neurodiverse, or LGBTQ2S+, has helped them reach out to others and seek for help when needed, myself included!

Luz struggles to fit in on Earth and Eda as well as King, Hooty, and the Collector have a hard time belonging on the Boiling Isles. However, by being open and accepting, they realize that "us weirdos gotta stick together!" to quote the Owl Lady, which is one of the pivotal, if not the main message of this show which is "You gotta be your own witch!" Also how "magic (literally) comes from the heart" it's one of the endless reasons why I love the Owl House so much and my love for it will never die.

The Owl House has allowed me to embrace myself, love myself wholeheartedly and practice more self-care. It's helped me come out of my shell and make friends thanks to the treasure it is that we fans cherish and its beautiful fandom that lets us form profound bonds by sharing this deep love and creating our own fan arts and fan fics. Luz teaches us and helps us, reminds us to be even more vulnerable, and spread sunshine and joy, love, goodness and kindness everywhere we go, to go with all our heart wherever we go! I love myself for being autistic and a genderfluid aroace lesbian even more now thanks to them. This cartoon has even aided me in realzing my sexuality and neurodiversity.

Please, do yourself a favor. Never hide. I've been different than others around me all my life and will proudly continue to do so, wearing it as a badge of honor because if you don't then you insult yourself, you don't live with integrity. Easier said than done but you've got to because if you're not you, then who are you? Never let the haters get you down. I relate to Luz and the others as being a proud outsider who found friends and found family also! Imagine if Luz and the others conformed. I have always found it difficult to be who I am, it doesn't always come out but Luz is so inspiring she's so herself, unique, and spontaneous in everything, makes us accept ourselves and that way I have never been happier to be me, you feel connection to the characters: they represent you, they're others just like you: this is a part of you and I love every part of you. Break free from toxicity and recognize it. Being understood is one of the best feelings. Eda accepting her curse has allowed me to accept every part of myself. It show people that LGBTQ2S+ exists and there's no need to be afraid. Change your life, you're not a tree that's stuck, find your tribe. Keeping things in is self destructive. "Does it have to be perfect?" like the most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles says again. True friendship is also shown, being there for each other. This show also tells us that we make the labels for ourselves, we define. It's how you feel, not trying to fit in the mold, you don't need to meet every single thing on a checklist or match all criteria. The labels are what they are precisely because every beautiful individual adds their own meaning and flavor to it.

Basically, to sum it all up, it portrays neurodiverse and LGBTQ2S+ folks accurately and most importantly in a way that people can relate to and feel good about themselves. For example, for me personally, it helped me open up more, embracing and expressing my true and best self, every day we get better and better. We become more social and actually truly connect with others deeply due to our shared love for the owl house which is usually hard for me to do as a high-functioning, self-advocating, and self-diagnosed autistic (or Aspie, though I don't use this label now since its no longer in use). It shatters stigma and stereotypes. It's simply groundbreaking. With love, and support, found friends, and family both biological and found, you can thrive, not just survive, and be loved, and accepted for exactly who you are nothing lees you're just weird enough to be the awesome you that you are. These and countless others are the feel good messages of this show.

Of course this essay wouldn't be complete if I didn't mention Amity Blight! Almost everyone in the Owl House undergoes key character development and their life as they know it changes in the best possible way, no less than thanks to Luz Noceda, which is an astonishingly beautiful thing but I believe I can safely speak for many, if not all of us (also yours truly), when I say that Amity undergoes the most amazing and impressive character development I've ever seen so far! Goes without saying! She starts off being seen as a bully when in fact it is later revealed she never was. It's never taken for granted that Luz with the sunshine she is and spreads selflessly everywhere, helped Amity rediscover her true self. Amity understands and goes on a journey or self improvement. If that's not inspiring, then I don't know what it and I'm not exaggerating here! Amity does a lot of self work, recognised her mistakes and attempts to become a better friend to Luz pretty quickly.

Hm, I wonder if when Luz said, "I'm not a witch but I'm training hard to be one." and showed Amity the ball of light emerging from the light glyph, she was speaking to her essence and broke through/got through to her!

And then, when Amity said "remember to turn on the light" to Luz and saved her in WAD, she woke her up bc she reminded her that Luz is light, literally!

Luz helps Amity remember who she really is, to return to her true self, who she always has been deep down, not just sb trying to achieve ultimate status and Amity helps Luz remember that she's the light of everyone's life! To continue to be who they really are! They saw through each other! I think they also literally became each other - Amity became Luz's light and Luz was suffering with the same issues as Amity, thinking that she ruined everyone's lives which was definitely not true in both cases! Neither Luz nor Amity ruined everyone's lives, ofc! It was the complete opposite! And they did what one did for the other as I said above but reversed!

Bc Amity and Luz are essentially the same -both so positive, carefree (maybe not always but eventually and unafraid to be themselves), dorky, nerdy goofballs who are so kind and sweet and powerful and so much more and full of love! (But also different in their own unique way)!

Love and kindness always win in the end and we have them inside us! We are love and kindness themselves! We just need to give each other a chance!

Luz, Raine, Masha, The Collector, King, Papa Titan, Amity, Hunter, and basically everyone is probably on the spectrum so hats off to everyone and them. Eda helped me confirm my gayness, something I was already aware of before the Owl House. Same goes for the characters mentioned above: Luz as genderfluid; Raine, Masha and The Collector non-binary; Papa Titan as probably non-binary/agender genderfluid? (Feel free to correct me, sorry if I'm wrong)! Vee also (however, I don't think the creators have canonically confirmed whether she's/they're envy or demigirl or something similar but I'm assuming this headcanon respectfully and again, if I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me and educate me because I believe we're all always stil learning! However, again because people are allowed to be truly themselves - as it should be -and not marginalized and hiding for that, we can thrive. I understood that I can actually be attracted to women (I already knew that before, I believe I even had a type already, Eda basically confirmed that or the feelings around that time just happened to coincidentally appear and feel more real not because necessarily because of their frequency and intensity because you can still be attracted to someone even if the attraction isn't always there and strong (hence my aroace label) whether it's frequent and or not intense. Aroace folks can feel or not feel love and attraction and want or not want a relationship and sometimes I have felt not wanting that but it's always very brief, I do want love, I'm too much of a hopeless romantic at heart not too! I also already knew i was genderfluid. I'm a cis woman, I've always mainly identified as a woman but I'm more than just that "label": its doesn't define me fully. It's broad and vague so I feel it fluctuates. I can be and express myself as any gender: no gender, both genders - its never fixed. Before however I always knew I wasn't straight but I wasn't sure if i was LGBTQ2S+. I used to think I was demi sexual, panromantic but it's exactly why all kinds of representation is vital! It's ok to be a late bloomer but if this cartoon existed earlier it would have helped. Dana Terrace herself claimed to be a late bloomer also. Speaking of which, a huge thank you to her and her crew for creating the Owl House! They changed our lives forever in the best possible way! The connection and love between us fans, whether casual viewers or die hard fans will always be priceless: this show means everything to me and always will!

There's a lot more that can be covered but the essay would go on far too long and I don't know the word limit for your project but I hope this is enough!
