Oh wow, you two have been friends for a long time then! I know what's that like, I've known my best friend who lives in Spain since we were 8! Definitely awesome to have someone like that in your life. Are you still going to be roommates when the baby comes? And that was really thoughtful of your ex making sure you didn't travel alone.

Oh Yorkshire accent is pretty cool too, isn't the lead singer of the Arctic Monkeys from Yorkshire? Honestly think all the language variations and different accents that come with each region are really fascinating. And that happens with all languages, not just English. Wish I could speak all languages in the world, that would be a cool superpower! I guess it makes sense you like American accents more bc it's so different from yours. I've become desensitized to North American accents just bc I hear them all the time, but I see how it would be more appealing to you.

Yeah we've been friends for years we met when we were 14 and are still friends now at 27 so it's been one of my longest friendships I have a friend that I met at 4 but we're not as close as we once were still really good friends but not best friends haha!! aww that's so cool that you guys have been friends for that long!! Yeah we're still gonna live together when the baby comes- we're looking for a bigger place right now to make room for the baby and her boyfriend (he still doesn't live with us yet but will soon.... *insert gif of Monica Gellar one friends saying "And now I have to live with a boy" while crying* Yeah my ex is a super thoughtful person and she just didn't want me travelling so far alone when I had never flown before because when I went to Paris with my college we drove there and went on the Eurostar and it took us 13 hours to get there but I had never flown before going to LA and I picked an 11 hour flight for my first one so she wanted someone to fly with me she's a very thoughtful person I LOVE the cold weather I am so sad right now because it's bene quite warm in the north of England I can't wait until it's like -3 degrees Celsius during the winter nights again so I am sure I would love Canada I am fine with it taking me 43 years if that's what it takes haha I just wanna hit all 50 states I think it would be so fun to do it and to be able to say I'd done it. Haha thank you!! As long as something good comes out of it that's all I can hope for but there are times I've done things and people are like "And you're allowed to teach kids?" Like I can be really dumb sometimes haha. Yeah I've seen a couple of fics where she has been a pisces I think with it never being said and with VP never saying what she thinks she is people have looked at her personality and matched it up to zodiac signs- a lot of the pisces I've met haven't been like Dani like I said but I do trust what people who know more about zodiac signs say because I know nothing and I just pick a random date each time so CBML she's a Leo and MoU she's a virgo and in SLS she's gonna be a Scorpio because that's just how I've done it haha but I really know nothing about zodiac signs other than what you have told me!! There different types of badgers there are honey badgers and they're more in America here we have a different type of badger and they look so cute but they are really vicious if they feel attacked or scared so try snd avoid badgers... more than that though we just have cows, geese, ducks, swans... lots of foxes but noting dangerous like bears or anything its a very boring place to live!! Yeah it is pretty scary but I just take everything one day at a time- I actually caught Covid last year because of how much time I was in the hospital having treatments for my condition I caught Covid and ended up in the hospital for a week while they had to give me loads of medication and blood transfusions and had to put me on a fluid drip because I was really dehydrated and that was really scary but luckily I was okay and now I am fully vaccinated so hopefully I won't catch it again. I think you will definitely learn from your mistakes I feel like some mistakes have to be made in life so you can grow from them Oh they were definitely savage but I love Bly Manor so much and I will watch it so many more times I can't wait for it to come out on DVD!! Like it was heart breaking but so beautiful and we got such an incredible wlw relationship from it and some great representation and I love that!! Would be interesting to see how it would've affected people had Oliver played Jamie though Yeah Alex Turner is from Sheffield which is South Yorkshire so again we have a similar accent but it's different because I am from further North but there are things that we say in a similar way because we’re from Yorkshire just different parts of Yorkshire... there are four Yorkshires: North, East, West, and South haha and all are in the north of England Yeah I think that’s the case every where I think accents and languages are so interesting and I would love to be able to speak any other language but I only speak English in my school it wasn’t seen as being overly important to learn a language and I have tried learning them since leaving school but I struggle now There are some American accents I love (Southern and Midwestern) so when I heard Dani speak I was like 😍🥵🥰 because I love that type of accent I have become desensitised to some American accents that are just standard ones from watching so many movies and TV shows but there are some accents that just make me do heart eyes haha I am hoping it can become a real fic soon but I am struggling with some stuff but keeping hopeful with it!! Awwh no I’m sorry it’s so hard for you I hope it gets better soon that you’re able to get it onto a page!! I have had such a busy weekend and part of the week had a bit of a busy day today too and looking after my niece again tomorrow not rest for me it would seem but it’s fine I don’t mind keeping busy!! Well happy birthday to her I hope she has a great day!! Oh yay I’m glad had an okay weekend and that you were able to catch up on the pirate AU and that you already have fan art planned for it- even if no one ever sees that fanart!! Dress For Where You're Going, Not For Where You've Been

Day 5:

I have my morning routine down. I used to think I didn't like routine. I equated routines with ruts. But, man I love a routine. I fall in to them pretty quickly. They give me some stability. I find value in doing the same thing for certain things every time. Other things, like driving to and from a place every day, i like to mix that up to chase away the monotony. I find my routine, it just comes naturally, I never force it. I might say, I need to add this or that, but it always works itself out and coalesces into my routine.

I've been drinking this Belizean coffee, Caye Coffee, since I got here. I like it. It's local, well roasted locally. I'm not sure if it's grown here somewhere. There is one coffee, called Gallon Jug, that is grown here, however. That is not the brand I have been drinking. I bought a small bag of the ground coffee to make at the condo, and that's what I have been drinking in the mornings. I also bought a bag of Belize Gourmet Coffee's whole bean coffee, that was grown in Guatemala, which is really just up the street, and a bag of Gallon Jug's whole bean. It will be interesting to see what it all tastes like.

I couldn't remember if we were going to look at condos today or tomorrow. I hit Natasha up, and she said we were doing that tomorrow. So I planned on taking the water taxi to Caye Caulker for the day. I got down to the boat at 1pm, and planned on staying on Caye Caulker until 6:15 when the last boat returning was coming back. Caulker is a little different than Ambergris. It's way smaller, way less people, quieter, way less golf carts, and less busy. Not that Ambergris, and San Pedro especially are "busy." But, San Pedro has more going on than Caye Caulker Village does. I walked a lot. My feet hurt from all the walking I've been doing, and I have a blister on my right foot, which is something that happens when I walk too much in flops that have seen better days, or don't fit right.

(I've been trying to find some new ones, but the size 12s they have here seem too small, and no one seems to have anything bigger)

I got off the boat and wanted to find a place to eat. I didn't want to go to the very first place I saw, so I went past the joint that was right there at the boat dock, and went south a ways. I found a place called Island Magic. They had a really cool seating set up. The table were suspended by ropes, like swings, and some of the seats were too. They had these upstairs tables that reminded me of a tree house. All in all the place was super cool in the atmosphere department. The menu was smaller than I would have liked, but Covid and it being an island, and lobster and avocados being out of season, and the server said they didn't have shrimp either made it that much smaller. I had chicken kebobs that were very good, and they had sinks by the restrooms that had seashells as spouts.

(I don't know if they intended them to look like vaginas or what, but the sure do look like vaginas)

I found this place that has hammocks out under some coconut trees. I need to be a customer to use them, so I go in. They have coffee drinks, and smoothie drinks, and coffee smoothie drinks. But they only take cash. And, I left my cash back at the condo. I didn't want to have to worry about it if I decided to go swimming. I can't grasp why I thought that was going to be a thing, now, but at the time that was my thinking. So, they sent me to an ATM. With some vague directions and just my credit card, because I lost my debit card the other day, I set out to fund a peanut butter coffee smoothie thing and a fucking hammock so I could just hang out somewhere and stay off my blistered foot.

(I already called my bank and stopped my card. The new one should be waiting for me when I get back, or at least soon after. I don't use it as much ass I used to, so it isn't a big deal to not have it, except when I need cash)

I decided to go the opposite direction the barista sent me. Mainly because I'm pretty sure my credit card isn't set up to get money out of an ATM. I seem to remember having an unsatisfying experience trying to do that once. Something about not knowing my P. I. N.

(Here's a bonus: how many people know what A. T. M. and P. I. N. stand for? Well, I'll tell ya. Automated Teller Machine, and Personal Identification Number. So, if you say ATM machine or PIN number, you are being redundant. You are really saying, Automated Teller Machine machine, and Personal Identification Number number. Same goes for a V. I. N. or Vehicle Identification Number, number)

I walk down to what's known as The Split. It is a place where Caye Caulker is divided in two. They used to connect, but apparently, according to legend, a famed 1961 hurricane, Hurricane Hattie hit the island and caused The Split. I find it odd that everything I've found on the subject so far says that people are unsure if that's what caused it of not. How are they not sure?

It's pretty neat in any event. I walked there, and walked around the end and then back up toward the hammocks and the peanut butter thing, only on the other side of the island. It was an interesting walk. Felt a lot more rural than San Pedro. After stopping at a couple of places I finally found the ATM. It was in a bank, and sure as shit, my credit card would not open the door to the little room where the machine was. And, the doors to the bank were locked. They were closed I guess. So, no hammock for birthday boy Stevie D!

I walked back up to the beach to find somewhere to just chill for the next three hours. I ended up back at that place I didn't eat at because it was the first place I saw. They had swing seats that looked out over the beach, such as it is. And, some chairs out on the beach. So, I ordered a virgin pina colada and laid down in the one lounger they had. I decided to get another drink, and maybe move up under the shady patio. This time I sat on one of the swing seats and drank another VPC and a soda water. It was about this time that I realized that I didn't have to wait another hour and a half for the 6:15 boat. I could take the earlier 5:15 boat back to San Pedro. I don't know why I was thinking I had to stay until 6:15.

These four women rolled up and sat at one of the picnic tables out front. They looked like they had been having a good time. They were drinking, not stupid drunk or anything. It became more apparent that some were drunker than others when one of them started freaking out because they only had three minutes to get to the boat to go back to, presumably Belize City. I thought it was funny because the boat pier was literally a 30 second walk from where we were. They could have thrown their mojito glass and hit it from there. This dude that works at this bar told them that the boat wasn't even there yet. As in fact you could look over and see that it wasn't. So they calmed down. I decided I was going to go back on the 5:15 boat. But, at 5:15 it wasn't there yet either.

Finally a boat shows up. The women get up and walk over to the pier. I swear I'm not the mask police, but I feel that if I have to wear one, so do you, and only one of them put theirs on, and they strolled right over to the boat. I finished my drinks and walked over there too. They seemed a little stressed. I'm not sure what was going on, but at least one of them was pretty worried that they were not going to get to where they wanted to go. I asked if this boat was going to San Pedro, and it was, so I gather that they were not going there. I left them and their unmasked faces there. To be fair, no one was saying shit to them about wearing a mask. I think people the world over are pretty much over this whole pandemic thing.

(If there is some spike in Covid cases in Belize, it's because of drunk Americans. Pretty sure)

I get on the boat, they don't. I go sit up top. I am sitting with the muthafuckin' Captain and shit! It was different riding up there. A much better view. More wind tho. I get back, go to the condo, relax a bit, then head out for my birthday dinner. I went to this joint I've walked by tons called Elvie's. I ordered the street corn, and the Mayan Chicken, and a slice of key lime pie. It was awesome. I loved the Mayan spices and the coconut rice. I walked home and sat on the balcony and pondered another year on this planet.

Are you between the ages of 30 & 40? I still have to get through nearly another decade to get to that decade.

What was your favorite Saturday morning cartoon growing up? My favorites were The Wild Thornberrys and Little Bill, both on Nickelodeon. My sister and I also enjoyed this wacky show called The Upside Down Show but it wasn’t a cartoon.

What was your favorite toy as a child? I liked any toy that had a lot of buttons or features within it - dollhouses, kitchen sets, cash registers, toy phones, anything that could make me test how much it could do.

In High School did you wear acid washed jeans? No. It’s not a style I would be drawn to, then and now.

How much was a gallon of gasoline when you first started driving? I don’t know; I never paid much attention to gas prices, honestly.

What was your first car? It’s a 2014 (or 2015?) Mitsubishi Mirage I’m still using today, though it was my dad who paid for it and he’s the one who takes it out for oil changes and stuff.

Who taught you how to drive? My dad taught me a few times around the neighborhood, but he also enrolled me for like three classes in a driving school so that I got to learn how to drive in a highway.

What was your high school mascot? Both of my schools didn’t have any. My university does have a nickname for our varsity teams, but we’re simply just ‘Maroons’ and not an animal like what I usually see.

Did you go to your Senior Prom? We had a junior prom, nothing for senior year. I was invited to go to the senior ball in another school by Mike, though. That feels like ages ago; everything is so different now.

What did you do after graduation? After my high school graduation I went straight to college like most kids here. After graduating college, I immediately started looking for jobs; I landed an internship after a month and got absorbed into the company two months after.

What was your first job? I’m currently working as an associate at a public relations agency. This is my first job and for now, I’m content in staying in this career. This is where I set out to be when I was in college and I don’t feel the need to change paths any time soon.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be an astronaut more than anything else, but I remember also wanting to be a firefighter or a vet.

Any posters on your bedroom walls growing up? I had a handful of wrestling posters that my mom was never a fan of. It was never her business since it’s my room, but she always made it the case.

Do you remember the first time you drank a beer? It may have been at Marielle’s debut, five Julys ago. She served beer at the afterparty of her 18th birthday party, and I think I had taken my first sip then.

Did you ever try cigarettes? Yeah, I started this year actually. I’m about to reach my first anniversary of trying my first cigarette :/ I don’t have a lot of them though and I haven’t smoked since like February or March, I think.

How did you spend your summers growing up? At home. My parents were always busy with work, so I had no choice but to myself occupied at home. Luckily I had siblings and cousins, so we were always playing with each other. My summers were never productive until I was in college, when I started making the effort to go out more.

If you could change anything from your teenage years, would you? Ahh idk man I wish I wouldn’t have spent as much time by the computer as I did, and maybe hang out with friends or something instead. < Yeah this hits the bullseye pretty much. I was a very introverted teenager. Not to mention the internet and social media started to blow up during my tween/early teenage years, so I was hooked to my laptop and kept people away as a result. I didn’t start feeling like a teenager until I was 16, when I gained friends and got invited to more stuff.

Do you remember your first time? Yeah, it was during one of my 18th birthday celebrations and she was around.

Ever look back and wish some things were still the same? I do it a lot these days. I do try to stop, because I don’t know what I can gain out of doing so anymore, and because there’s always the danger of being left behind from looking back too much; but most days I can’t help it.

After high school - straight to college or straight to work? University, because you kinda need that credential where I live. It’s unfair, but it’s our reality.

How much did you make per hour at your first job? We don’t really calculate that here...I’ll try to do math for y’all lmao aka Google it, which says I make $2.34 an hour. Wow when you put it that way, it really does not sound high :/ I’m honestly okay with my pay though. I live with my parents so I contribute to the bills and stuff now, but even then there’s more than enough left for me. Favorite home-cooked meal growing up? My grandma’s kare-kare. It was/is always reserved for special occasions; and out of all her grandchildren I was also the one who got attached to the dish especially as I got older, so eventually kare-kare also became the family’s ‘Robyn is coming over so we better prepare this’ dish. I think I’m her only grandchild that she has an allotted dish for, so that makes me feel special :)

Favorite place to eat out growing up? The local Burger King, back when it had a play place for kids.

Did your parents live in a different country before you were born?: No, they have always lived in the Philippines. My mom has always wanted to migrate but my dad shoots it down every time.

Do you have a preferred coffee brand?: When it comes to coffee, no. I wanna try out everything. But when it comes to coffee shop ambience, Starbucks all the way.

Have you ever dated someone who was terrible with money?: No. I remember Gab as always being very cautious, responsible, and conscious about money. Her parents sustained her debit card and I’m pretty sure they always gave her a little bit extra, but she never took more than her weekly allowance from the ATM.

If so, how did it affect the relationship?: Money was never an issue, mostly because the money we received during the course of our relationship wasn’t even ours lol; we both received set allowances from our parents. If one of us was running out of cash, we never hesitated to cover for each other first, and we never pressured one another to pay back immediately.

How often do you paint your nails?: Never.

Do you know anyone who's related to a current or former world leader?: Yeah, I went to high school with a relative of Duterte. She’s super secretive about it, which is pretty understandable. I’m friends with/went to classes with people who are grandchildren of senators and other politicians as well.

Do you do your own taxes, or do you hire a professional?: ...I have no idea how to do that...I always just assumed it’s already taken care of when a part of my salary is deducted lol. I may have to ask my parents about this, whoops.

What is something you don't have any natural talent for?: Anything to do with music. Reading it, playing it, singing, writing songs, etc. Also art and anything to do with creativity.

Did you watch this year's Eurovision?: Ah, my favorite time of the year to mute all my overseas mutuals on Twitter at one point lmao. No, I never caugtht up with it.

Have there been any periods in your life that could be described as being chaotic?: Senior year was a big chaotic war zone. The death of my grandpa and my first breakup coincided with all the crucial college entrance exams. Speaking of college, it was also a period of a lot of heavy decision-making due to me having to make choices of what course I wanted to take in every school I applied to. I barely cried during those few months and it still shocks me to this day how I did it. That was the most I’ve been on autopilot.

What is something you frequently forget?: Where I place my car keys and/or glasses last.

If I looked in your fridge right now, what would I find?: Bread, eggs, a bunch of condiments, butter cheese, vegetables, leftovers, and the grazing box I received from my workplace yesterday. I’m sure there’s more, but I haven’t really stopped and stared at our fridge for a while now.

How do you feel about your body?: I used to feel fairly confident about it; like it was never an issue with me. But truthfully, after being dumped, I’ve started to feel insecure over everything about me.

Who is someone you would like to get to know better?: My teammates at work, Bea and Ysa. They both seem like cool and funny people both in and out of work, and I’d love to get to hang out with them.

If you had to move to a new city, where would you move?: Idk, just somewhere with a lot of opportunities to try new things and meet new people.

Have you ever traveled on a double-decker train?: Nope. I’ve never been on anything double-decker, if I remember correctly.

What's your opinion on assisted suicide?: [trigger warning] I’ve looked into it, but it’s a dead end where I live. That’s all I’ll say, as I don’t want to give others ideas.

At what point do you consider a relationship to be 'long-term?': Fuck if I know anymore. What jobs did your parents have when you were growing up?: My dad has always been a chef, so he went through all the ranks throughout my childhood until he finally got an executive position when I was in high school. I remember my mom being a receptionist.

Do they still have these jobs? Or different jobs? Or have they retired?: My dad is still in that career path but he doesn’t cook in the kitchen anymore, or at least as much as he used to. He does all the menu planning, evaluating, etc. My mom has shifted to becoming an executive secretary, but she’s still in the hotel industry.

Do you own any winter sports equipment?: I don’t. There’s no reason for me to have any.

Do you have a cell contract plan, or are you on a pre-paid plan?: Prepaid.

Would your parents be okay with you dating someone of another race? I can definitely see my mom reacting, but I know she knows I won’t let her get away with saying anything mildly offensive. My dad would just go on with his life and will care more about the fact that I’m seeing someone, lol.

Do you like when friends stop by unexpectedly? No. Schedule it ahead and let me know. I’m not always mentally okay and them showing up as a surprise might just make me more stressed than grateful.

Where are the following people and what are they doing: mom, dad, sibling(s), best friend, significant other, ex, and last person you kissed? My entire family is under the same roof in their bedrooms, either sleeping or having just woken up. Angela is in Parañaque, probably at a cousin’s place; no significant other; I have no idea where my ex, and also the last person I kissed, is. She doesn’t really have anything to do with me anymore.

How strong are your feelings for the last person you kissed? They’re there. I’d still take a bullet for them if it comes down to it, the usual shit. Let’s move on.

If she was feeling snappy she would also tell me I’m no longer in the place to contact her that way. Sigh. Who is she anymore and why is she so different from the person I was with?

Season 4: Holy Shit

Yo season 4 was wild.

Okay let me start off by saying that I originally thought Glimmer learning from ShadowWeaver was going to be a bad idea, but now I realize that that wasn’t the case and Glimmer fucked up on her own. I understand why but she still fucked up. It was only after Glimmer started doing her bullshit later in the season where I was like “Oh, ShadowWeaver doesn’t have control.”

Secondly, we all knew Micah was alive. We called it when s3 ended.

Thirdly, we all knew Entrapta was alive somewhere on Beast Island because we know she doesn’t die so easily. I love her, and I missed her.

On that note, one of the major things I wanted was for Hordak to find out Catra lied to him about Entrapta and for him to beat her ass when he did. I’ll just say I am SO GLAD he found out because seeing him believe Entrapta had betrayed him broke my heart because you knew how much he cared about her. His tears almost put me in tears.

Double Trouble. Just Double Trouble. I love them so much. They’re a little shit but I love them.

I knew there was something off about Light Hope since season 2, and I had a feeling that there was more to what Mara did than what we were let on, and we got more of that in s3. Honestly, I’m super happy with how the twist turned out, but I still want to learn more about the First Ones. The whole fucking Mara episode had my jaw on the floor.

My son Kyle almost fucking died, but I’m also super glad he, Lonnie, and Rogelio got the hell out of there. I was just waiting for them to realize not that they were on the wrong side, but that Catra wasn’t the same person they knew and they needed to get away. Also I saw bags under Kyle’s eyes. Let my son sleep.

Speaking of which, I AM SO FUCKING GLAD THAT SCORPIA GOT TIRED OF CATRA’S NONSENSE AND LEFT!!! SHE’S HAD THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT FOR THE PAST 3 SEASONS, SHE STARTED QUESTIONING LAST SEASON, BUT HURTING EMILY WAS THE FINAL STRAW FOR HER!!! FUCK I’M SO PROUD OF SCORPIA THIS SEASON FOR ACCEPTING HERSELF AND GETTING THE LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP SHE DESERVES!!! I FUCKING LOVE SCORPIA!!

Seeing Catra have a mental breakdown when she realized she was alone was tear-jerking but satisfying to see. And it was even more satisfying when DT called her out on her bullshit. They really went “I don’t give a flying fuck about your past. Everything that’s happening right now is on you.” And DT was right: It was for her own good to hear that. Last season made me doubt a possible redemption arc for her, but now I’m more open to it.

And finally, Horde Prime better be ready to catch these hands. He really did a factory reset on Hordak and I don’t even want to IMAGINE what he would be like. And no, I don’t think Catra and Glimmer are going to ally with Horde Prime. I think they’re going to work for him out of survival and also find a way to get the hell out of there and back to the others.

But overall, this season was amazing. I would say it’s the best season atm. I had to watch it in pieces since today was one of my busy days, but I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Coming out... thinking again...

May 12, 2020

(Night of the 11th, but it's like 2:30 am now so it's the 12th technically)

So... like I've been thinking abt it again today. That maybe I should come out.... I would say it's the quarantine talking, but let's be honest, I didn't go out much before lol.

Tho I am really missing going to Sunday school, church, and small group (yes I said Sunday school and small group... that's how I distinguish between Sunday morning small group at the church before worship and Sunday night small group at leader's house). So that may have something to do with it, idk.

But I have also just seen someone like my post abt thinking abt coming out to my mom from March (ironically I posted that like 4 days before everything shut down in my state lol). I have also seen some people over the past 2 ish months like post any coming out and church response and stuff from like 2 years ago.... so it's not like these are knew thoughts... just more frequent I guess lol.

But I've been thinking abt it again today... and thinking abt coming out in general not necessarily to specific people.

Ok that's a lie, there is one guy I've thought abt coming out to, he was in my small group for a bit, but only came sporadically due to work. He since moved across town and apparently started going to a church over that way with some friends.

I don't even know him super well, but kinda wanna come out to him. But chatting online through a message app isn't the best place for that kind of thing. I don't have his number, and he is across town so it's not like I will see him at church even if church was open ATM (hopefully soon, governor finally said churches could open... think she finally realized she can't really say churches can't meet, tho for everyone's safety my church may still hold off a few weeks, don't know... anyway not the point).

I message him every now and then to see how he's doing kinda thing, cause I genuinely want know how he is.... but like I don't know him that well, an he isn't on this side of town currently....

So not sure how that would even work for me to really talk to him....

I can't come out via a message app... for one, then there is proof in written form that I said it lol... also I can't try and read his face when I say it.

And when things finally open back up (soon, restaurants can finally open at 50% capacity, the one he works at is closed for now tho, so he has time) but I can't just say "hey wanna meet somewhere and grab lunch or something"... I mean I don't think I know him well enough, and like one dude doesn't just randomly ask another dude he only kinda knows to have lunch... that seems weird...

Maybe it's seems like such a big deal because I do find him attractive... but that's not the point... well maybe it is, I guess if I didn't, I probably wouldn't feel like I need to tell him I'm gay... maybe by telling him, he will say he is too... ok that's just wishful thinking, I have no idea if he is gay or anything that would necessarily make me think he is.... as I don't know him well.

But I do know he has apparently had some personal/ family stuff happen and that's part of why he moved across town... so maybe I'm projecting my feelings into it and it's making me think, maybe he is gay and the personal and family drama was abt him being gay. It wouldn't necessarily be a stretch.... but it could have also been a million other things.

Again it comes down to my gaydar being more of a "I hope he's gay"dar.

Tho I could also just say screw it and tell him I'm gay anyway and let the cards fall where they will.... which I am considering more and more.... tho that could be the isolation talking... and I don't mean Covid 19 isolation... I mean isolating part of myself and not being able to have a significant other, and considering stupid and risky things to get out of this feeling of loneliness....

Tho I'm not really in a good situation to date ATM so not sure coming out on a bigger scale or to someone I like (well think I like based on what I do know) is anything I should worry abt doing ATM...

I am jobless but have a couple rentel houses that barely pay for themselves and a few personal bills, no real money from them... yet.

But I am looking to get another one, and since all this Covid 19 shutdown stuff caused him to have reduced hours at work and now none at all, I have considered if I get another house soon, since it will need a little work (as I don't buy move in ready, they cost way too much) but I have considered at that time messaging him and ask if he wants to help with some Reno work and I can pay him. It will help him afford bills, give me some help with the house, I can even call it a business expense and add it to rehab cost of house and depreciate it with the rest of the expenses. It will give us time to get to know each other more and get more comfortable with each other and maybe allow time for opening up more. I could even offer to pay for his lunch as part of the deal with him helping me... I mean it would be the least I could do for his help. What a great way to help him out without just giving him money... that I don't really have, like I have no extra money, but I do have money I borrow for the house and any repairs and to pay people to work on it. And while he said he is taking the down time to relax, I'm sure at some point he may enjoy something to do.... but it's not like I've put much thought into this. Lol

And I think I've rambled on long enough for tonight, feels good getting some of these thoughts out.

And if the guy I'm talking abt happens to read this, feel free to message me... by the same way we messaged earlier (and the only way we ever really message, tho I did give my number to you some time back in case you ever needed a ride to small group) to see how each other was doing.

Hey Anon!!! I’m super sorry about how late this is, usuallyI can’t stop telling people about my OC’s when they ask but I’ve been busy forthe past few days with uni work so I’ve been slowed down!

Before I begin though, I should probably let you know that Iregularly change the themes/plot/setting of the world my characters are set in.While they may be human (or not) today, they could be something drastically differenttomorrow. I do this mostly in an effort to try and find a story that “clicks”for me, and while this hasn’t quite happened it has been really helpful withcharacter development!! Anyway, onto the OC’s!

Kit

Originally Kit was designed as an 18 year old maleconscientious objector drafted into World War One (Christopher Frederick Barrow).Now Kit is a grumpy lesbian wood nymph who lives in a small little houseamongst the woods, filled with books and various trinkets that she likes toinvent with. She’s kind of inspired by Kit Marlowe (name inspiration!!) andTinkerbell XD She’s very quiet and instead of jumping straight into scenariosshe likes to stand back and watch a situation first before she can decide onwhat to do. While she can be very logical, and sometimes even a little bitremoved from a situation, that is not to say that she is emotionless. She isvery quick to get frustrated with things. Sometimes she gets quickly frustratedwith books she can’t decipher the language of, or if her inventions don’t workout. She especially gets frustrated and huffy when it comes to the girl shelikes. She can’t stand the fact that she’s so easily flustered by this one girlwho likes to go on hikes through the woods sometimes. Whenever she gets a lookat her she feels like she’s swooning, and then she’s immediately red faced andirritated because this girl is a human and “how dare she” make Kit havefeelings!!! Looks wise, Kit is quite tall and slender, she’s got bob length curlybrown hair, wears glasses, has these goldeny brown eyes, is deaf in her rightear and has mid-dark tanned skin. Last time I drew her she was wearing dungareesand she’s a cutie pie and I love her very much!!

Oli

Oli (Oliver Delaney) was my OG OC!! He came aboutwhen I was around 15 so he’s a good 7 years old in my brain now! He’s quiteshort, probably at around 5’3, and a bit stocky. He’s got the sides of his headshaved and this floofy blonde curly mess up top! The funny thing about Oli isthat he’s changed the absolute least out of everybody. He’s bisexual, anabsolute sweetheart that pines after many a person and tries to woo them with badlywritten love poems that he immediately tries to unsend. He’s from quite ageneric nuclear family. Two happily married parents, and a younger sister thatdrives him mad. His parents work in a bakery, and it was always the intentionthat he would take over the family business but he wants to desperately be a professionalballet dancer despite all the odds against him. He’s quite sweet and mildtempered, and a little bit of a push over if I’m being quite honest. He and Kithave always been the best of friends in every changing story I’ve had, so itwould be much the same with wood nymph Kit (he would be the “human friend”) asit would for the university au I had planned (he was a Dance student and shewas an English Lit student and they met in a module on Early English Performances).He originally had a crush on her but is absolutely not bothered at all withacting on those feelings. He knows she likes girls and he wants to help her getout of her shell and get a girlfriend! Anyway, I love Oli. He has my heart.

Ada

Short for Adelaide, originally she was an assassinprincess! I honestly have absolutely no clue how she fits into the wood nymphlesbian love story tbqh! She swings from being the love interest to a friendand honestly I have no idea what to do with her atm but she’s my Queen so I’lljust list the things I do know about her. She’s from a very rich andinfluential family. She’s extremely close to her father, but her mother overthe past few years has become nothing more than a puppet for her grandmother soAda is always dubious around them. They have quite traditional ideals where shehas a role she’s expected to play but Ada has absolutely no regard for them.She’ll wear the clothes and the make up she wants to wear, have her hair allsorts of crazy colours (it’s currently pink and orange) and genuinely live herlife however tf she wants. She has a lot of unchecked privilege which she hasto work on over the course of her life, but she’s willing to admit her mistakesand grow as a person. In terms of temperament, she kinda reminds me in ways ofErica from Teen Wolf. Relationship wise, she didn’t get on the best with Oli atfirst (she likes people who fight back and Oli kinda lets her walk all over himwhich she views to be absolutely pointless) but they’ve formed this sort offriendship now where she respects his choices and will kill for him (he’s apuppy).

Theo

Theodore, Irish, ginger hair, from a big familyand is the oldest of all his siblings. He takes great pride in caring for his youngersisters (he has 4). His dad isn’t around and his mum works 2 jobs so he’spractically raising them. He’s very tall, demi, and dislikes Ada strongly. Hesees her as a rich kid who comes from a world that doesn’t give a crap aboutkids and families like him and he’ll repeatedly make his feelings clear. He andAda do form a sort of reasonably amicable friendship but there is always thisunease coming from him and this sense of indifference coming from her so theynever 100% click. Theo is very attached to Kit and basically “adopts” her andlikes to make sure she’s fed. He’s the type of person to facebook stalk hissiblings love interests to see if they’re good people.

Lonnie

Kit’s ex-girlfriend. Their relationship was toomuch too fast and they burned eachother up in the atmosphere. The relationshipended practically in flames and while both suffered towards the end, Kit verymuch got the brunt of it. They were 15 at the time, so they’ve both grown as individualsand Lonnie last I checked was a fitness enthusiast but I don’t know much else.

Ailsa

an OC from 6 years ago, heavily influenced byMerida. She’s Scottish and her personalities was kind of a mix between Lonnie’sand Ada’s, so she’s never really come into the forefront but she’s always here.Loitering.

Life Update

I still have no internet and I’ve used up like 80% of my data for the month and I’ve only been on this data plan for less than half of one. Oops. I’m gonna have to double check when it actually rolls over so that I can start doing stuff.

Internet is on the way, however! Gonna be stuck waiting for it for a while but the process has been started at least. Gonna hear back from the ISP next week. They tried to call earlier this week but I was at work :(

I’ve finally got a new bag that actually fits my laptop so I’m gonna have to hunt down a cafe with wifi where I can sit and do stuff. I’ve tried a few cafes so far this weekend, but they’re all in shopping centres and busy af so bringing in my laptop might not work lol On the plus side I’ve had a lot of nice tea and cake.

Knit clothes have gotten super popular recently, kind of makes me sad that I left mine back in Aus. I might grab something today between getting stuff for my apartment.

My work finally came through on some things they were supposed to do when I arrived. Unfortunately some of those things are still very much a work in progress. Hopefully it’ll get fully sorted soon because I am sick of the manager just being like ‘we’ll sort it eventually/ask head office’. Would kind of like everything sorted now though, honestly. ヾ(▼ﾍ▼；)

Work is super busy. I’m still getting used to all of it, and it’s taking me some time to be confident about my place there, etc., etc. I’m getting there though! I’m doing my best to do everything as well as I can and a lot of it is gonna come with practice. 頑張りまーす！

I’m gonna catch up with some friends tomorrow and go to the Sailor Moon Cafe as well♡ Can’t wait! A friend wants to see Weathering With You if she can find it with English subs but tbh I’m a bit ehhh about the movie. It’ll still be nice to see something with everyone though so I’m happy to tag along.

I still haven’t done any study since coming to Japan. I’m gonna have to get back into it for sure; I’m even watching less Japanese TV here than I was in Australia lol I’ll have to get back into it; reading novels probably doesn’t count for proper study.

Anyway, I need to stop bumming around cafes today if I actually want to enjoy the Sailor Moon Cafe tomorrow. Time to finish my shopping for my apartment, grab a cute knit thing somewhere, and get some groceries. I have no food atm, so I really need groceries (￣Д￣；；

Hopefully by the time I’m posting here next I’ll actually have studied at some point. I mean, this is a studyblr, there’s no point if I don’t actually do anything right?

What color are your eyes? blue (with these little flecks of gold right around the irises, you can only see them if you look real close)

Do you wear glasses? I have glasses, don’t necessarily wear them all the time

Do you wear braces? I used to, but I developed root resorption and had to get them off early (spring of 2017) so now none of my teeth toouch except for in the very back :( makes it really hard to eat samiches (yes that’s how I like to spell sandwiches fight me)

What’s your fashion sense? so I don’t count most days as my fashion sense bc I wear athleisure ish allllllll the time out of laziness, but when I do make an effort I have two ends of things bc I’m androgynous. so on a day when I’m feeling more masculine you’re gonna see me in a sporty-type-look (spandex, just barely sagging joggers, a graphic tee, my gold chain and jordans, I usually pull my hair into a ponytail and lay my edges), but on a day when I feel more feminine you’re gonna see me in some tried-and-true type of clothes (cute shirt, leggings, heels, jewelry, makeup did, hair down and [hopefully] acting right), but on a day when I’m feeling in-between I’ll try to experiment or be “edgy” (basically mixing and matching or trying something I saw a celebrity do and thought was cute). regardless of any style I’m in, though, you’re always gonna see me with my nails done, whether that means I got acrylics on or that I painted them myself... just know. that’s how we do. and by we I mean me.

Favorite tv shows? not a super TV person, but I’m a thot for Steven Universe

Favorite movie? I love tf out of movies, my all time would have to be Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (I just pretend that WftPotA didn’t happen atm bc I hate sm of what happened in it), but in the last few days I’ve watched War Horse (I cried like a bitch lemme tell ya), Secretariat (didn’t cry like a bitch but got teary-eyed) and 42 (I did cry at certain parts but it’s kinda uplifting so ya know, wasn’t super sad) and they were all lovely so if you haven’t seen them yet, go watch them! They’re all free on Netflix

Favorite book? When I was little it was this book called Junket (that thing is older than my grandparents, good lordte), I think some of my favorites rn tho are Heartless by Marissa Meyer and Tales from the Perilous Realm by J.R.R. Tolkien

Favorite past time? a couple months ago you would’ve thought it was crying from how much I did that, but tbh it’s probably drawing, writing, reading, watching movies, listening to music, sewing, spending time/going on adventures with my friends and helping my friends with their lives. I KNOW THAT’S EVERYTHING BUT I CAN’T HELP IT REEEE my most favorite past time atm is helping my friend Charlie clean and organize his room and designing things for his business, also spending time with my favorite little niecey-poo in the WHOLE WORLD OMGOODNESS HERE IS A PICTURE OF HER BEAUTIFUL SELF I LOVE HER SM SHE IS THE SWEETEST MOST CUTEST AND FUNNIEST AND SMARTEST WITTO GIRL EVER AND I LOVE HER <3

Do you have regrets? boy oh boy, do I: taking so long to forgive my abuser (thx for destroying my childhood @ my biological father), procrastinating, not having enough self-love/worth/confidence, being complacent with so many of the friends I used to have, focusing so much on socializing in hs rather than my sports and my schoolwork, being so afraid to just be myself bc I knew most people don’t want to be friends with a weirdo, the list goes on, all I can do now is move past it though so... ohwell.

Dream job? oh SIS get ready for this: sooo I want to own my own business, known as LEAD Revitalization (L for Love, E for Equity, A for Advocacy, D for Diplomacy - these are the core values of my business), which aims to help revitalize underdeveloped and underserved ethnic communities in the US and around the world and fight against gentrification through implementing art of all mediums in or near historic locations in that community that is representative of the demographic living there (so if the area is a primarily black neighborhood, you’re gonna see art depicting black history and culture, and if the area is primarily Asian you’d see Asian history and culture). I won’t get too into it just bc that would make this post way too long, but if anyone’s interested or wants to hear more you can bml ;) like literally bc I’m passionate af about it so I will talk your head off for days on end if given the chance

Would you ever like to be married? yes

Would you like kids? yes

How many? two or three of my own (I’m hoping for a girl and a boy) just so I can have the experience of having kids, but once they’re grown and out of the house I would like to adopt more if I have the resources to. my cousin’s adopted, so like, idk. I think that if you can adopt a kid, you should, bc there’s so many of them just stuck in the foster system and that’s complete bs

Do you like shopping? yes but I usually don’t like getting myself things (unless if we’re talking groceries or something I actually need), I love to buy things for other ppl tho if I can

What countries have you visited? canada for like 3 days technically, I just went to Mt. Whistler for spring snowboarding (that shit hurted) with my aunt bc she paid for the whole thing and my passport

Scariest nightmare you have ever had? TRIGGER WARNING: DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE - I had a nightmare awhile ago that this guy I used to be involved with raped me, I also used to have recurring nightmares after I stopped going to my biological father’s house for visitation where he would come searching for me trying to kill me and my older brother (he’s tried to kill me 3+ times sooo... it makes sense). so like. fun.

Any enemies? S A T A N and myself, or.... my brain, I guess. idk.

Any significant other? kinda? I’m currently fwb with my ex and still have feelings for him (oopsies), we split bc he was going through shit and needed to figure himself out, I’ve been close to him for a phat minute so I’m not really trippin about it. I also have crushes on other people, but nothing’s presented itself as something worth pursuing yet so. yakno.

Do you believe in miracles? lmao I would fuckin hope so, the very fact that I’m alive rn is a gd miracle so yea

How are you? I am so-so. If we’re just talking about today, I’m prolly fine, but if we’re talking long term, I’ve been going through it. I’m just trying to figure myself out atm, and it’s rough, but I’ll probably get there. My friends think I will, at least.

monster prom pop quiz results

I was bored, so I decided to try and record all the questions and answers in Monster Prom’s Stupidest Pop Quiz Ever(tm). It’s really likely I haven’t found them all, so I’ll come back and add to this from time to time.

The pop quiz consists of three questions; the first two go towards determining your highest stats at the beginning of the game, while the third chooses your possible prom date (this isn’t set in stone; you can still try to pursue a different character in the actual game). The order of the questions is randomized.
