So I did a blood draw today at my school and it got me thinking…

Ambrosius would have O- blood and knowing this he would do double doses of it and it would be a gamble of whether or not he would be sick or not.

For those of you know don’t know O- is a universal everyone can take it in a blood transfusion and it’s the hardest to come by and give to

He would force himself to be sick when it came to drills he knew were next and he didn’t like them. The Director would make him do a single dose and he would tell the nurses that he wanted to do a double draw and since it was his body the nurses listened.

Ballister has an AB+ blood type, and so he does a single dose (he also dislikes needles in the first place and just does what he needs to do and then get on his day)

Except that he skips the drills as well because Ambrosius is sick and so he takes care of his ill and sleepy boyfriend.

After the wall falls when they do blood drives (draws and drives are the same sorry for the confusion) Ambrosius still does double doses because he knows his blood type is rare and is universal so he wants to help as much as he can.

But with Nimona back in the picture, she can shapeshifter her blood to be any type she wants and she keeps her blood type O- to help out with the blood drive.

And because she can shapeshift into any shape she wants, she can do as much as a quadruple dose without feeling woozy. Often joking with Ambrosius and stating that she’s better cause she can lose more blood.

Ambrosius doesn’t take this as a challenge as he’s currently on the floor of the room where they’re doing the drive cause he threw up towards the end.

Okay so:

Quick li’l baby update

• Good news: I know which files were causing my game not to load when I was doing Maxis Mix! They were something I downloaded in mid-February

• I’ve been playing Maxis Match for a bit now but I can’t help it, I miss my old saves. I miss the Orsons, all the work I did in Another Door, etc.

• Also I had a quick li’l school crisis that immediate followed the family emergency stuff and pretty much I had no space to do anything but watch Fantasy High with my partner and dogs and cry

• Fortunately that’s resolved. My plan is to spend the rest of this week that isn’t doing school and my usual chorin’ on getting my Maxis Mix saves back to functionality

• In the meantime I’ve been writing so so so much of Another Door and might have some tidbits to share soon!
