Warning, talking/thinking about mech-preg underneath.:

Okay okay, so woke up not too long ago and saw a post talking about mech-preg bad and that’a understandable, got me thinking.

(I’m still sticking with what I have at the moment because it appeals to me the most personally (and because I like to associate Cybertronians with some insect-like features (albeit need to show that more). Though thoughts of external insemination (while involving an egg) is way too much for me. For now.)

Does make me think how I could make it more ‘alien-like’ for hybrid babies/sparklings. Boulder and Graham (because main pairing) could build a baby I guess. Though a pal/mutual did talk about creating a baby artificially (be a test-tube baby that’s literally incubated in an external incubator). Hmmm…

Like I can easily think of ways to make it a lot less human if between two Cybertronians that live on Cybertron (I’ve also heard of adopting sparklings from hot-spots, that’s a good concept), but realised it would be a lot challenging if a human is involved. But hey, sometimes I like a good challenge.

That’s also to say the main human characters (Burns family) is already white, and the Greenes often get overlooked.

IDC if it was ‘only an Easter egg’, there was little to no representation for Asians (South Asians on top of that), and Parvesh Cheena (Blades VA) himself strongly believes in representation mattering.

Oh, that’s also to add on I notice how those who’re saying Blades being whitewashed is either OK or complain about those who don’t like it are usually either white or white-passing themselves, SSSSSOOOOO…! You have no say in the matter.

Still forever mega salty at how it’s the white (passing) designs of humanformer Blades which ended up being popularised (on top of Heatwave (who gets described as ‘aggressive’ by many) being the only ‘tanned’ one). Literally everyone else is free reign, but no, had to be Blades.

Think it’s very funny how over the years, Rescue Bots fandom gradually shifted from having undying love for characters like Kade and Charlie Burns to the nerd (who was often overlooked), Graham Burns.

(Not saying there aren’t fans of Charlie and Kade (please also love Dani she deserves appreciation too), but I notice a lot of newer Rescue Bots fan’s favourite main human character is usually Graham.)

Found the old doodle (and did quite a bit of touching up for it).

Oddly Specific Headcanon.:

I like to imagine Graham sometimes starts from pacing around the room to (kind of) dancing.

Nothing wild, just small jigs, sometimes a few twirls (which he mainly learnt from watching television).

One time he actually danced with Boulder after he suggested doing something to take a break from all the assignments (well, more like he twirled around while Boulder simply lead him around with his servos holding his hand).

It was very nice (even if their moves weren’t), they actually laughed/giggled throughout.
