☂️🍑 Y2K Peach, My Beloved 🍑☂️

jksdjksdwk Istg I need to draw other Mario girls, but I always end up drawing Peach in the end I’m just currently too obsessed with her, plz help me 🥲

Drew this as both a (belated) 18th anniversary to Super Princess Peach (damn, I can’t believe this game is the same age as me 💀), and as a (also belated) birthday gift for one of my buddies from DeviantArt, @therosypinkprincess .

We both really like Peach, so I felt like drawing her a sweet little present. I suggest you check out her art if you have the time, it’s absolutely beautiful and so pretty 💖💕

I wanted to start this before October 20th rolled around, which was the day Super Princess Peach first dropped in Japan (and coincidentally the same day Super Mario Wonder also dropped), but I was starting to get a little burned out after trying to complete a bunch of Spooktober and Blacktober art, so I had to put it on hold. Fast forward to a couple of days ago, I finally had the motivation to continue the art, with a few changes.

I love Super Princess Peach. It’s one of my favorite Nintendo DS games, and I love that Nintendo finally realized that it was time to give Peachy some justice by letting her go on a solo adventure. This time she got to save the day all by herself, and also rescued her mans this time.

Games like this, the Smash Bros. series, Mario + Rabbids, SMB2, and others prove that Peach is more than just a pretty-faced damsel, and is far from a “dumb blonde”, or an, “airhead”. She doesn’t always get kidnapped and is clearly capable of defending and taking care of herself and uses her hyper-feminity to kick ass.

It’s perfectly a-okay if you prefer other Mario ladies over her, but it bugs me so much that she’s so often just categorized as only a damsel because she’s girly, kind, empathetic, and soft-spoken.

Also greatly annoys me how often in stuff like fanart, fanfiction, and animations, she’s always made a punching bag, demonized, or made weaker to make the other ladies look better in comparison. All of that is just no 😃

And regarding Super Princess Peach, I never understood the whole, “sexist” accusations that people were calling the game all because Peach had different emotions in the game. She ain’t the only one who uses her emotions, the rest of the cast has different emotions too, but unlike them, Peach can actually control hers. So, all in all, I just personally find the whole, “sexist” claim kinda goofy ngl

Honestly speaking, I only have one gripe with this game. I wished that they did a little more with my boy Perry’s backstory, because it sadly didn’t go anywhere, and it hints that his kidnapper might be at large. Other than that, the game is still pretty solid, and it definitely holds up. Especially the music, it’s got a couple of bangers.

As you’ve guessed by the title, I wanted to go for a more Y2K feel not just aesthetic-wise, but also fashion-wise. I went on Google, and searched for a bunch of outfits from 2005, the year SPP came out. I went with this outfit I found on Google, and since it had pink in it, I definitely knew that it would be perfect for Peach. There’s also this 2005 Fashion Fever Barbie that also inspired this outfit.

And speaking of which, at the time of sketching the art, I was also watching some Y2K stuff that I grew up with to get me in the mood, and that included some CGI Barbie movies (because Barbie is such a movie icon ✨) such as The Barbie Diaries and Fairytopia. There’s also other stuff I watched like Winx Club, Totally Spies, and the Bratz TV Show.

I wanted to put her hair in pigtails, along with giving her peach fruit earrings because, well… that’s literally what she’s named after. Also included a little easter egg reference to her final smash in the Smash Bros. series if you can figure out where it is 👀

I really loved how this art turned out, though I wanted to give Peach the whole, “down-to-earth, wholesome, sweet girl-next-door” type vibes with her new outfit, with a hint of some girly pop. Kinda similar to characters like Lizzie McGuire, Betty Cooper, and Disney ladies such as Snow White and Giselle. I think I succeeded with it, both her and Perry look kawaii af ❤️

And for those of you who can't read Japanese, the text on the left side just reads, "Peach and Perry-chan!". I just put it into Google Translate, and thought that it would go well with the art.

Believe me I’m no fan of late-stage capitalism, but I do feel like that last anon is in a particularly doom-laden mood with regards to creative works right now?! Yes of course the big studios and streaming services have a stultifying effect. But step even a tiny bit outside the mainstream big-budget stuff and there are amazing films being made. Not to mention that non-English language independent films are exciting and interesting and able to reach a bigger audience than ever before, thanks to the internet. Additionally, the sweeping statement that “the music isn’t even that good” just seems…unjustified? There’s loads of amazing music out there right now, even on the most mainstream labels. And you have the opportunity to fund a massive range of creators directly via Bandcamp and Patreon! But beyond that, what about all the people who don’t go to gigs just to take insta-content? What about all the people who go to watch tiny local rock bands play in the pub? Or folk bands play in a barn? Or world music played at a night event in a museum? If you spend a lot of time looking at instagram and TikTok, of course you’ll see the shiny people who only go to activities in order to film themselves there. But there are so many people who don’t do that, who listen and watch and pay attention in the moment. Who close their eyes against tears because they’re finally seeing the band they loved when they were 13, and weren’t allowed to go. Who use VPN to hunt down obscure Hong Kong movies from the 90s. Who go to themed film festivals at their local independent cinema. Yes it’s annoying that the Western mainstream is largely so shallow, but there are so many ways to access more interesting art these days…I just feel like a completely negative view is misguided and misleading. I hope the other anon can find joy in turning their attention away from the most dominant (and chronically online) Western pop culture in favour of things they value and love.

i love those descriptions, and they give me a lot of hope; they’re actually a much needed reminder about what meaningful engagement with creative works out there can still do if we just look for it. but at the same time, i also understand where the other anon is coming from, because there really is something to be said about the state of creative media production these days in general and especially the media engagement that currently happens a lot on social media. so that even if it wasn’t the barbie or oppenheimer movie but, say, some other foreign independent arthouse film from the late ’90s, or of one of the local rock bands, the way people ‘aestheticize’ it and flatten it out on social media is … frustrating to say the least. and the fact that this is one of the surest ways to really get more people to listen or watch is just so bleak to look at right now when you want to share your art to people. in a sense, it’s difficult for those who want to create meaningful art and live off of it, when all you get is this celebrity-obsessed culture. it’s like the way you can earn sufficiently from it is if you made ‘creative content’ that’s as consumable and as palatable to profitability as possible, plus you have to have your ‘identity’ (branding) down too. and even if you decided to exit the mainstream and wanted to go independent, you will still need income anyway. art is not separable from the material world, no matter how abstract it is. the way so many creative minds and energies are being ruined right now by branding and market logic is just a grim reality we’re being faced with more and more, even outside the west. and we get this excess of shallow media, and it’s what’s everywhere right now, and it’s melting all our brains, no matter if we still engage with meaningful art whenever we can.

still!!! i do have to thank you for a very hopeful message re: creative work and genuine engagement to works of art. despite everything genuinely loving art really is what it’s all about! just have to keep looking for more hehe

[Twisted, mostly SFW] Wired lately?

This one goes out to some of my peers, the ones into robots, dolls, hypnosis and things. If you have no idea what I’m talking about and don’t wanna know, don’t go past the break. Just skip it and have a nice day. :)

Okay, so, for my ASFR people: have you been pent-up lately, or is it just me?

I’m asking because lately? I’ve been more than a little bit wired, pent-up, aroused, like more often in a week than usual, given my current bad health.

And for me, I know why this is: It’s the movie. Duh. xD Barbie, of all things, has a legitimate live-action movie done, now. As in, something of interest to grown people. And well, the teaser trailer does show a shot or two visually implying some lightly plastic legs.

But yeah. Maybe the specific thing is me, maybe not. Maybe other people who get wired about dolls are in a predicament too. Or maybe others out there get wired over things like Pacific Rim, Blade Runner, Evangelion, or something.

I’m just finding it weird that my body’s getting aroused so often over a movie trailer? Yeah. Granted, this may be right after a holiday period that just plain sucked for me, entirely, so this could be an unrelated mood rebound too.

I’m just asking. If you know what I’m talking about in the slightest send me an Ask and let’s see if there’s something to talk about.

Also the Island Princess fic, I'm not sure if I'll ever write it aksjakjs. I'd love to write it, but if I write a barbie fic, then I would def write Magic of Pegasus first since I actually recently watched that movie.

I currently have 20 requests and some more where I'm still thinking about whether to write them or not.

Trey and (Y/n) switch bodies and now they're forced to spend the day in each other's bodies. Everything seems to be going well until it's time for afterschool activities, where (Y/n), since she's in Trey's body, has to spend time with Rook, her crush, at the alchemy club.

Malleus and (Y/n) reminisce about their schooldays at NRC with their two children, as well as their grandpa Lilia and their three uncles Sebek, Silver, and Grim. From Sebek having called (Y/n) 'human' to how Malleus and (Y/n) first met, past memories are brought up.

Jade is jealous of how much time Floyd and (Y/n) have been spending lately. Plot twist: Floyd has been giving (Y/n) tips and advice on how to woo his brother and confess to him.

(Y/n) decides to play Floyd's personal cheerleader during basketball practice since he's been in a bad mood all day long. Her cheering actually improves his playing so much that Jamil and Ace want her to play cheerleader for Floyd at their next match, too.

I apologize in advance. I have dumb bitch don’t shut up disease. There’s nothing I can do 🤷‍♂️

The elephant in the room: I’m neurodivergent. A mix of adhd and autism. I was born with disabilities. I have Chairi type 2, I did get surgery as kid for it, and an auto-inflammatory disorder as the biggest in my life. Chronic migraines, joint and muscle pain, stomach issues etc. I take meds to help and try to keep up with low impact activities. I do get an injection for the auto-inflammatory disease and then botox and nerve blocks injections in my head and shoulders for intense muscle stiffness. Hurts like hell but it helps me a lot.

Personality: I’m quite low energy and quiet most of the time. I like familiarity and having to change how I do something stresses me out hard. I try to appear calm and sarcastic but I’m a lot more sensitive than what I want to admit. Rejection sensitivity dysphoria messes me up bad and I’m generally an anxious person. I do have a knack for analyzing things. I can get too involved the world’s problems with this but also pinpoint how someone feels and maybe why once I notice their pattern. I really want to make people happier. If a loved one asks me to jump, I’ll ask how high. As for humor, I adore stupid tumblr and gen z humor. Me and the boys DO go out looking for beans thank you for asking.

Hobbies: I love some existential games. Little Nightmares 1 and 2 are iconic. I could go on and on about the symbolism. Speaking of, once again I like to analyze. Media analysis is a fun pastime for me. As I said, I get into larger issues and I find different media’s are wonderful media for exploring them, specially horror. My new thing is horror podcasts. Archive 81 is my favorite rn. I’ve been trying to nurture my inner kid. I have plushies that I sleep with and ones that I attach to my bag to bring with me places. I wanna rewatch some childhood shows/movies like Monster High, Barbie, and Pokémon. I’ve been sewing and crocheting a lot. I made a stuffed whale with a starry looking yarn. Space whale ❤️. I draw and paint a ton. I like gauche, markers, pencils, and digital but I wanna go back to sketches. I like learning, it sounds so dumb but it’s true. I wanna go into a research field actually, specially with birds. I really like animals in general though. I have some dogs and cats and a bearded dragon. I have a sorts punk-cryptidcore-fairycore thing going on. I really expressing it through clothing and eye and lip makeup. I’m a big lipstick fan. I always wear it out. I like big and bold eyeshadow looks. I want to be soft and huggable while also looking like I came from hell.

Pet Peeves: If I say I’m busy or not in the mood, I really need that person to listen. I get into angry moods sometimes and just need to be left alone. I hate feeling like that and I despise snapping at people. Talking over me every time. I got in trouble a lot for interrupting so now I’m very cautious about it and I’d like the same. In the same vain, never listening to what I’m trying to say. I’m excited or invested in something and then they keep talking to someone else or looking at their phone. I have bad sensory issues. Don’t bother me about it. I can eat a sandwich one day and the next it makes sick. I don’t know why, don’t ask. I also can’t stand a variety of sounds. It doesn’t matter if it isn’t loud, I can hear it and it hurts.

Dealbreakers: I hate being brushed off when I’m upset. I rarely communicate it, so when I do it’s a leap of faith from my perspective. I don’t want to be told I’m being defensive or emotional or be left alone.

Values: I hate so much about the world currently, and a lot of it is how people don’t question things. Why is this necessary if it causes hurt? Do we need it? Can we alter it? I find a lot of good people agree on fixing things but don’t understand the deeper issues that cause them. I guess I really value compassion. From a scientific standpoint, humans got so far by being really good at taking care of each other. We took care of the sick and elderly and cared for babies and children. I want things to better for my younger siblings and their kids. I truly believe in silent rebellions and hope in dark places. I’m disabled, very very queer and a lot of my family are immigrants. I’m very proud. So many people and systems tried stop me but I’m still very alive. I think living as happily and indulgently as I can is the best F you to those people and systems.

He doesn’t get gen z humor very well, but does enjoy the dirtier jokes. He won’t admit that though! Gotta keep up his good boy image!

Ranking every Pixar movie

22. The Good Dinosaur: I hate Arlo. As a character, he has no spine, spends most of the film whining about how terrible his life is and then when he finally gets a grip, the movie is over. As for animation, the dinosaurs were too cartoon like to feel right for such a landscape based film. I did like the Pizza Planet truck in the opening scene, ten out of ten for hiding it with the asteroid belt. 21. Monsters University: nothing interesting happened here. Moving on. 20. Finding Dory: sigh. This film was well animated, I love Pixar and water, but most of the stunts felt, too unreal. Where Nemo and Marlin fountain hop was what killed me. I liked Hank, but when the film had him drive a truck with all the fish inside, I gave up. I did like the closure on what happened to the fish from the tank in Australia, but however they got to Cali beats me. It was nice to see Crush again. 19. Cars 2: MATER IS A SIDE CHARACTER. Ok, rant over. I thought it was okay, but still, very disappointing for a Pixar sequel. 18. Cars 3: The trailer was better than the movie. Pixar should have stopped after Cars 2. I personally didn’t care for McQueen’s end paint job. 17. Cars: The idea is nice, the soundtrack is killer, I just don’t like the Cars movies at all. I’m sorry, but McQueen is egotistical and a jerk. Just because he got stuck in Radiator Springs, doesn’t mean he’s got character development. I do however love when he arrives that first night, easily the best five minutes of the movie. 16. Toy Story 4: It felt more like a marketing strategy, rather than a continuation of the Toy Story universe. Forky and his existential crisis is a solid mood. I’ll admit, I walked out halfway through the film, it wasn’t worth my time. I wish that they left it at three movies. 15. Monsters Inc.: I liked the idea of the movie. But, feels like the plot drops too fast and that the resolution drops as well. Mike’s comedy act is game though and Put that thing back or so help me remains one of my favorite things to yell at siblings. 14. Coco: the animation is Gorgeous. I loved this movie when it first came out. The story is beautiful, they handled the villain with grace and it gave me warm fuzzies. However, it’s overplayed. Every family reunion I’ve been out since this film came out, they’ve played this. Stop. I think the songs are okay, but I get tired when they’re stuck in my head. Pixar created a masterpiece that my relations ruined, which is ironic, since the movie is about family. 13. Toy Story 2: they reused the, ‘I’m not a toy!’ plot and that made it tired. I liked Jessie. And the horse licking Cheeto dust off of Al’s fingers. Al looked a bit like my middle school theater teacher, so that made me feel uncomfy. Other than that, decent film. 12. Inside Out: Joy is annoying. The idea is great, although they missed a great pun opportunity with when they had to walk through long term memory. Could have used a memory lane pun. The rest of the puns were amazing and I loved the concept, just wasn’t well executed. 11. Up: I don’t cry during movies (Frozen 2’s show yourself is the exception), so I didn’t really feel upset during the first ten minutes of the film. I love Kevin and Russel’s friendship and then the pleasant surprise that there were baby Kevins. Carl had great character development and I’m grateful Pixar showed real world challenges people go through. 10. Incredibles 2: Voyd is amazing. So is Violet and Dash, I loved the boat, but my favorite part is right before the battle with Screenslaver. You don’t talk, you watch talk shows. You don’t play games, you watch game shows.... The monologue over Elastagirl hunting the big bad gave me literal chills. I would pay to watch this again and again. I loved the limo driver that messed up his line to Frozone as well. And the little girl with the sign at the protest reminded me of similar signs I’ve seen, and made, before. 9. Bug’s Life: Very mature for a Pixar film. Held onto some ideologies I’ve studied and I personally think it’s a lot better than Antz, which took a similar direction but failed. 8. Toy Story: the animation may not have aged gracefully, but for when it hit theaters, it was something the world had never seen before. I love the magic eight ball, the aging of the room was a nice touch and the dog was a riot. 7. Toy Story 3:great finale. Great characters and development and great animation. I love Barbie and that she broke up with Ken instead of just being an airhead of a toy. 6. Finding Nemo: Cinematic masterpiece. Pixar and water is a great combo, and it’s got a great story. 5. The Incredibles: Violet is so relatable. Mirage is awesome, easily the most underrated bad guy to good guy I’ve seen. Mom and Dad hero pair, amazing. Dash running on water, amazing. Violet growing up and saving her brother from the Omnidroid, amazing. Edna Mode voiced by Brad Bird, amazing. This film was incredible. 4. Brave: yes, this movie gets a lot of hate. And I mean a lot. But I’m a sucker for a heroine who takes charge. Merida fights with her mom, we all fight with family and that makes it feel realistic. The music is amazing. Chase the wind is still one of my favorite songs. The will the wisps are accurate to myth and th amount of sheer detail goes unnoticed in this movie. DunBroch, Mordu’s fallen kingdom, the Stonehenge, the sky are all so artfully animated. The witch is an absolute riot and I love her. 3. Onward: DND references everywhere. I love it. Ian Lightfoot is a relatable character with his social anxiety and lists of what he needs to do, and his sacrifice is commendable. Barley is a supportive older sibling and he’s a role model with how he helps his younger brother learn to drive, learn magic and so many other things. The Manticore is excellent and a salty character I live for. The mom is bad a, and I think that it’s amazing she got so much screen time compared to other Pixar moms. Ride of the Valkeryies playing while Barley salutes his van’s final voyage? Tearjerker. The curse beast having the face of the high school’s dragon mural? I was the only one who laughed in the theater I was in. It was relatable and heartfelt, a Pixar masterpiece. 2. Ratatouille: this movie was the start of my love of baking and of Paris. I was young when it came out, but it’s so, so artistic and beautiful. Remy is a well thought out character and having Gusteau as his shoulder angel was amazing. Alfredo Linguini literally means white sauce pasta, but I’ll ignore that. The end with the new restaurant is amazing and Chef Skinner is salty and I like it. 1. WALL.E: space. This was my childhood. I’ve seen this movie maybe upwards of a hundred times. The animation is gorgeous, the characters beautifully scripted. For a movie that has only 22 minutes of speech, it conveys a message far more powerful than any words could. WALL.E is a sunshine child with his hyperfixation on humans and as someone who hyperfixates, this was amazing to see on a big screen. That it was okay to have quirks and unique interests and viewpoints. The spacedance is beyond anything and it still has bits of humor, along with heartwarming scenes and images. EVA fixing WALL.E at the end was painful, and then the Spark bringing back WALL.E’s life was the best ending I could have ever gotten. And his whole goal was just to hold EVA’s hand, it was soooo cute! I might have to revise my list when Soul comes out, but here’s the current!

Warning: tiny hint of smut

"'morning, sweetie. What do you want for breakfast?" Bucky asked as soon as he walks in the kitchen where his daughter is currently scribbling down on a piece of paper with her crayons.

"Pancake!"

"Blueberry or chocolate?"

"Chocolate." The little girl watch her daddy work for a few moment, gathering the ingredients from the cupboards and fridge.

"Daddy, why is mommy lying? She don't have to lie, I'll still love her no matter what."

"What lie, princess?"

"About her being my mommy."

Bucky was taken aback, calmly placing the box of pancake flour on the counter before slowly turns his body around to face his daughter. "She is your mommy."

"She's not," little Becca protests. "I heard mommy called you 'daddy' yesterday." Watching her daddy's face pales up, eyes widening and almost bulging out from their sockets.

"Don't worry princess! Prince charming will save you!" The little girl exclaimed as she sweeps the said 'Prince charming' across her bed and placing it next to the Barbie doll. She then grabs the plush dinosaur lying on the other side of the bed and sprints away from her brightly lit room.

"Come on, mr. Cookie. Let's give them some space and venture on to our next quest! To the kitchen!" She giggles as she started to skip down the hall, making her curly brown hair bounced at her every step as she hums her mother's favorite song.

"Daddy!"

She stops, glancing to her right where the sound is coming from. It very much sounded like her mommy, like she's in pain and struggling on something.

The little girl gulped. "Mommy?" She whispers, quietly taking a step forward and gently placed her hand as well as her ear against the wooden door. She heard it; vigorous slapping of skin and something squeaking just as fast, hitting the wall since she could feel the door shakes against her small hand.

What's going on? Is mommy okay? Why is She calling daddy 'daddy'? She silently asks herself, squeezing her dino plush to her side. She was about to knock on the door when she heard it again, a deep grunt and a moan like from before.

"Yes, daddy! --Oh-- right there!"

"You like that, baby girl?... 'M not gonna last long, baby. Fuck. I'm gonna cu--"

The little girl leans away from the door before his daddy can eveen finish his sentence, feeling sad and disappointed at him. She felt her little heart breaks as she steps away from the door, before making her way to where she just came from, her once cheery mood disappeared.

"Let's just continue our adventure next time, Mr. Cookie."

"Good morning, my loves," you greeted, eyes flickering from your daughter to your husband who's face is as red as cherries, opening and closing his mouth like a fish, looking for words that had seemed to vanish wall of the sudden.

"Are you okay, Buck?"

"Who are you?" You widen your eyes at your daughter's immediate question, eating a confused eyebrow at her before pointedly snapped your gaze at Bucky.

"What's going on?"

Bucky sighed, face still flushed. "She heard us."

You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. "Heard us? What do you mean-- oh."

Bucky nodded his head, a small smirk playing on his lips. "Told you to be quiet, darling."

"Bucky!" You scolded before walking towards your daughter, ignoring the small 'what?' coming from your husband and wrapped your arms around her small body. "Sweetie, I am your mommy and I love you so, so much. What you heard is just um... a practice."

"Practice?" Becca asked, peering up to meet your gaze. You nodded your head with a grin, momentarily flickered your eyes up at your husband then back down on Becca.

"Yes sweetie, a practice for my upcoming movie. Remake of... Romeo and Juliet?" You mentally wince while Bucky turned around to the stove, shoulders shaking in attempt to cover up his laugh.

"Really!" The little seems to but it so you just nodded your head and usher her out of the kitchen, "Now go to the living room, your father and I need to talk about the movie."

"Okay mommy!" She scrambles off the stool and was about to run off when she turns back around with a sheepish smile on her face. "I'm sorry for what I said, mommy."

"It's okay sweety, I understand." Once she's gone, you sauntered behind Bucky and snakes your arms around him, kissing his back as he instinctively leaned back.

"That was close."

"Didn't know Juliet calls Romeo 'Daddy'-- ow!"

Three ships: I have several main ones that I tend to switch between depending on my mood and I usually stick with them for a while. Right now I've been reading and thinking a lot about the Doctor/Rose (Doctor Who). Lena and Winston (Overwatch; platonic) continue to be one of my most loved hated relationships. And I've been thinking a lot about Rei/Mina from PGSM because did you see that dog episode?

Last song: Faust, Midas, and Myself by Switchfoot. I love this song and it sounds nothing like any other Switchfoot song which kind of makes me love it more.

Last movie: I'm sure it shocks no one to hear that it's a horror movie: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. I long while ago I watched one of the TCM movies and found it hilarious and wanted to watch it again to see if it was still funny. This was not that movie despite this movie actually being a comedy. Yes, seriously, apparently the writer/director for the first movie decided he wanted to do a comedic sequel and so we got... this. I dunno, it was really fucking weird, guys.

Currently watching: We've mostly been watching movies so I'll go with the last tv show we watched which I'm pretty sure was The Terror. Which is amazing and Mr. Geeky and I both loved it.

Currently reading: I'm currently between books but the last one I (re)read was Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed. It's a collection of an advice column called Dear Sugar and Strayed is one of those writers who has a way with words so that they stay with you long afterwards. Specifically, I read it because something on tumblr made me remember Like an Iron Bell, which is a man asking whether he should tell the woman he thinks he loves that he loves her: "The last word my mother ever said to me was love. She was so sick and weak and out of her head she couldn't muster the "I" or the "you", but it didn't matter. That puny word as the power to stand on its own. ... My mother's last word to me clanks inside me like an iron bell that someone beats at dinnertime: love, love, love, love, love. ... We're all going to die, Johnny. Hit the iron bell like it's dinnertime."

Currently craving: I'm going to take this as craving anything, including non-food things. Right before this I was craving something to do with my hands so I randomly started working on a plastic canvas Barbie desk that's part of a plastic canvas Barbie castle. Mars doesn't play with Barbies (she is all about the dinos still) but I really wanted something to do with my hands that isn't the embroidery I'm currently working on as it's be very frustrating.
