7 & 8 answered here but I have many good and bad things I love about the canon that I could talk for ages about LOL
1. What made you pick up this character?
I'd say that there are very few canon characters that ping-pong in my head quite like Donald Duck. Generally speaking, I'm someone who tended to make/write for O.Cs for no other reason than it never occurred to me that I could do neat things with the canons too.
Honestly, this is like, the first proper canon character that I have written this long for. I was in the Sugar Rush/WIR fandom for a while and sometimes wrote stuff, but my primary fandom experience is drawing for the most part and even then I wrote my O.Cs.
I'm glad I started with Gyess still just to get used to how Tumblr works, but she can be a little limited in the types of interactions she can have (vaguely. She's mostly just, not emotionally mature to do stuff that I love writing about) I actually did almost start with Donald, but I was intimidated by writing for canon (and I needed time to finish watching the show LOL)
I just think Donald is real neat, and I just want to provide myself some justice for how the show treats him at times. I also like that he can swing from emotional depth to absolutely chaotic so I never really get bored writing him if that makes sense.
2. How did you get into this franchise/fandom?
uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh, I like Ducks LOL
No seriously though, before the show came out Donald Duck was still my favorite Disney character. I'm a bit of a Disney nerd when it comes to this sort of thing. He's just been a long-standing interest of mine. Something about him just clicked with me when I was younger, and my obsession has only gotten worse LOL
When the remake was announced, I feel like I was excited, though I've never watched the original DuckTales show. I should really check it out though lol I just don't know if I ever thought too deeply about it?? I was just like "Oh cool! New animated show! I love those"
I would say I wasn't ever in the fandom of DuckTales. I don't have much history of like, being involved in fandom. Interacting with people online, talking about a show or characters. I don't even know if I really made fan art for this show actually.
I just know I got invested in it pretty quickly, at least Donald's side of it (I lowkey, mostly just watched the show for Donald LOL) and saw posts about it on my pintrest boards from tumblr occasionally.
IDK I'm super weird about this stuff, but at least now that I'm older and more into writing as a hobby and such, I have more awareness about this type of stuff like character development, voices, portrayals etc. But I don't have a grandiose story or anything ^^ legit, I just love these ducks.
12 What would you say is the most unique trait about your character?
That is an excellent question LOL I mean, if we're comparing him to like other characters in animation then I'd say there's quite a lot in the realm of the obvious.
Besides being a duck, he talks funny, has a short fuse, is a sailor man, and is ridiculously unlucky. All four of those traits definitely exist in other characters, but I don't know if I've ever seen another character who has all of these, plus a very kind and gentle side.
I think though, what makes Donald specifically in DuckTales a unique character in all media is that he's an adult father figure who bettered himself. I've talked about it a little bit already, but I think just the fact he went to therapy at all in the show is absolutely the most unique thing about him AND for just Donald media in general.
Dad characters in most media get shafted to be the stupid ones who like love their family but generally, cause problems and then don't really do anything or change. (Homer and Peter are the ones I'm thinking of, but I know there are others)
Of course, Donald is in a unique position of not only becoming a father at 25 but specifically a father of three kids that aren't even his while also simultaneously grieving the sister he lost WHO'S KIDS HE HAS TO RAISE!!!!!
But Donalds a dad who has sacrificed so much for the kids recognized his flaws and went to better himself because of his love for his family. He could have easily been written to be a goofball dad who doesn't really care or is so bitter about his sister and the burden of raising kids that he gets worse as a person... BUT THEY DIDN'T DO THAT!!
Anyways yeah. If there's anything I desperately wanted from the show, is just an Episode of Donald finding his moment where he broke down from the weight of everything that was dumped onto him, and then rising above it for himself and the kids especially. It's so sad that it's implied off-screen, but hey I'll take that over what they could have done LOL

✨What's a fic you've posted you wish you could breathe life into again and have people talking about it? (or simply a fic you wish got more credit)
hMM that's hard, but perhaps,,, Til Magnolias Bloom? It's a fic written about another fic so that already stacked the cards against it, but I thought the imagery was fun! I do think it'd be nice to rewrite some day now that I'm a bit of a better writer, really lean into the fear Fuku feels and the helplessness from both of the adults, then savor fully the relief of the trio waking up better rested than they'd been in a month. It's a fic that means a lot to me in its own way, for my heart is snagged on Tell God and the Devil for reasons I literally cannot name (I know why HR has my heart, but TGaTD?? literally no clue my dudes. I just adore it) and the gift giver I am, I had to write something for that tasty source material
💫what is your favorite kind of comment/feedback?
Big analysis ones ;; if you've ever come across a comment I've left, it's easy to see how that style of commenting is something that I really cherish!! it means a lot to me to know that my readers are examining the text, getting excited about certain phrases or lines they enjoyed, or how the characters are, in a similar way that I've done too!! I know it's a bit of a time consuming comment to leave though so I don't expect it XDD
🕯️was there a fic that was really hard on you to write, or took you to a place you didn't think it would take you?
Hard to write: Handspun Nerves. For as much fun as I have with darker tragedies, the catharsis of writing such a story is MUCH!! DIFFERENT !! I really really struggled with hurting Grillby and having his trauma - and then Gaster's later - explode in such a public place. I remember both groups of friends going "you can hurt him more!!" several times until I finally worked myself up enough to do so XD I know now that I could go even further with it, but that first step startled me quite a lot!!
Place I didn't expect: Pride. I fully intended to write a piece where Grillby got to be cool and strong and buff and impress Gaster and then was side swiped by something a bit more,, important I'll say. I didn't really want to put queerphobia into an AU of mine, but it's honestly been very important to me to have in there, and has opened the door up to explore a lot more grimy and personally uncomfortable topics in a place that feels very safe and supportive to me.
BNB AU now sideswipes me often btw bc I gave it that permission XDD There's an unfinished fic that, when I realized where it was heading, started legit crying from surprise. Not in a bad way, just a "ah, you're holding so much of me" discovery that I'm slowly leaning into enjoying the catharsis of writing.
🍭why did you start writing?
This recent(ish) stint of writing started because of the Umbrella Academy actually!! I was curious on what sort of conversations the characters might've had in the in-between moments, and set myself to writing some of those scenes out. It quickly lined up with my RP world, and how much fun it was to write there then just !! continued to spiral through the fandoms (mp100, bnha, now undertale!) and I'm having a blast still!!

1, 3 , 7, 16, and 17 for the fic ask! (Really, I want to ask you all of them hahaha)
What was the first fandom and/or pairing that you wrote fic for?
hahahaha so my first fandom was Harry Potter. There was a huge time gap between the 4th and 5th books and little 13 yo me was just beginning to figure out the internet, so I searched for more HP stuff and fell into a some weird fan sites that had this obscure fanworks section.
I remember very clearly reading a fic that had an OC who was Voldemort's daughter and everyone was heir to one of the founders (Cursed Child who), and somewhere in the middle there was a sex scene and I quickly closed the window and got up from my chair sweating and horrified XD (after the big scare wore off I went back later to finish the fic, it was pretty good hehe)
But yeah, first fandom was HP, but I didn't have a specific ship, I just wanted more content while the books weren’t out yet.
Later I'd fall into the anime rabbit hole with Inuyasha and that's when I started actually writing. I wrote a Inuyasha/Kagome fic in 2004/2005, it had a whole plot going on, 28 chapters, the works. I wish I had it saved somewhere, but I guess I was embarrassed of it as I grew up and I unfortunately deleted it :(

Do you write fics from start or finish, or jump around?
Depends! I usually go from start to finish, but sometimes if it's a multi-chapter and I want to finish the whole things before posting I do jump around to the parts that attract me the most and then fill up the gaps. It slows down the process a lot, but it helps in terms of character arcs, since I can go ahead and see where it'll lead to at the end before going back to the beginning and planting the necessary seeds.

Which part of writing do you struggle with most?
The set up 🥲 If I don't have a clear plan of where I want to get, I WILL spend an unholy amount of time going back and forth, back and forth, writing and rewriting. Which is why I rely so much on outlines. I have to have the goal in mind, otherwise I'll just get lost on the way there 😅

What is your most underrated fic?
Uhm, idk, I feel like I already write to such a small audience because not everyone cares about the characters I choose to work with, but I can't really complain because within that audience my fics perform pretty well.
That said, I worked pretty hard on The earth devours and I'd like it to have more attention 🥲, but again that one is still on-going and has a lot of gore in it hehe, so it might still find its public later on.
And also the first fic of Late-night hours, Mr. Kirkland's secret, because I feel I really nailed the porn there XDD

I'm going to be super lame and say all of them hahaha they are all my babies, even my old ruscan kinkmeme entries, and I like them all equally <3

Hi! Rewatch/watch for the first time anon here!
So I had finished the series (I forgot where I was when I sent my last ask, so I've been skipping a few episodes thanks to Liz's Giant Supernatural Skip/Watch List which I highly recommend to see if you're wanting to do a rewatch, especially post s5 cause I'm a s1-5 purist and the episodes after s5 can be a bit dotty).
From the guidance of that watch list, and disagree or agree with me, but I feel like s15 wasn't so great to watch live? (please I skipped a few episodes, so your opinion would be really good) Like maybe it started off strongly but it had a bit of out of character stuff e.g. I feel like Cas, Dean and Sam getting overpowered by demons is a bit out of character especially when Cas is an angel of thee lord. Like I know they didn't know Rowena was there, but it would have made more sense maybe if they appeared at the throne where Rowena was or like maybe Rowena discovered them idk....I can't think of anything, I just feel like they could have written their meet up a little better?
Then 15x18 my beloved, I actually watched the confession in Spanish that way it was more textual rather than subtextual that Dean loved him back (I say textual because Dean said as do I Cas, where as it was more implied that Dean loved him back when he said don't do this Cas and the part where he was crying and couldn't answer the phone - Dean loved Cas back and no one will convince me otherwise OKAY). I may have cried, laughed and puked in my mouth a little (do you get that reference), I did love seeing Rachel Minor back in the show but again it was the empty and not THEE Meg (my favourite demon next to Crowley).
I think overall it was interesting to rewatch s1-10, there were some really good moments (especially cause I skipped the crappy episodes) and interesting as a first time viewer to watch s11-15. I DID however watch deancasnatural so I had some context as to what was going on post s10 beforehand, I don't think I'll watch spn for a while now, just because I have second hand sadness in that you as a fandom deserved a narratively better finale. However its onwards and upwards from here, Jensen will be in the boys and probably have some other fantastical new roles/release new music and such and Misha will be doing more stuff as well and in the end Cas did win cause he got to tell Dean he loved him. I'll say it again but supernatural will always be known as having the gay angel, and god bless Misha for giving us that legacy, the show would literally have been dead 10 years ago had he not stayed on. At least we have thousands upon thousands of deancas fanfics and I follow a few amazing tumblrs such as yourself who I love interacting about supernatural with :)

tbh, watching s15 live was amazing because 1) we knew it was THEE END and 2) it actually was crazy? and 3) my mind was trying to connect all the dots and it seemed like they were connecting the same dots as me, you know?
though i do agree, the season got boring in the middle there, post ep 9/10 i'd say. but then it caught up until the dreadful finale ruined every single thing. ugh.
also, getting overpowered by demons - especially cas - IS A PLOT CONVENIENCE rather than character continuity smh. remember season 14 episode 1 ???? cas getting beaten and bound by demons like that? garbage. DISAGREE. spn committed many sins but the biggest one was their treatment of cas.

Okay, so this is kind of a hard one because it’s mostly a… ~vibe thing. It’s from a quote by Person of Interest –specifically, The Machine telling Shaw that Root loved her because “if we were shapes, you were an arrow, a straight line”, and I just… loved it. So it goes to character that had that sort of… clear-sighted, straightforward something, that cut through the bullshit.

Heey! How are you? I hope you are doing fine.
2. Are you outgoing or shy? Definitely outgoing. Of course I need time alone in my room to do fandom stuff, but most of the time, I am extrovert, opened, and really outgoing.
10. Who was the last person you had a deep conversation with? The last deep conversation I had was 2 days ago with my friend who I consider my blood related sister. We are not blood related, but my and her family knows each other since 30 years, we grew up together. She is 22 and always looks after me, like I’m her little sister for real. She is more experienced in life in general so it’s always good to talk with her. We couldn’t shut up until 5 am.
14. Do you believe in luck and miracles? I do believe that what you give to others will cast your future, I mean if you treat everyone kindly, you will get it back through your life. I am not into superstitions or miracles, however I like to wish when I see a shooting star.
17. Do you think there is life on other planets? Considering the fact that the universe we know is infinite, yes. I believe it all. Statistically it would be impossible that we are the only one out there. They can be far, they can be unintelligent, but I think they still exist. But who knows, maybe they are more intelligent than us.
21. What are your bad habits? I like to procastinate (not that much) or forget everything (is it a bad habbit?) I used to bite my nails but I don’t do it anymore, also I have to give up smoking on special occasions. (Do not get into it okay?)
26. What do you do when you wake up? First things first, I go and have a glass of water, go to the toilet, then sit down to have my cup of coffee (COFFEEE!!!!!) for that day. These three are always in my routine, I always start my day like this.
