A part of me wonders how old Creation is?
Q!Tubbo was originally found frozen in ice and locked away in a Fed facility. I can only assume as a direct result of a failed attempt to run the island many years ago. The questions have always been: What even happened? Why?
Maybe Creation did exist in the Before. Maybe Creation was considered a threat to the Federation or Resistance? One worth neutralizing.
Is it possible Tubbo was frozen in an attempt to end Creation? Creation has powers which might cause issues for an authority and Tubbo has always been against the system.
Maybe the ice was a mesure to contain. It’s possible that forcing the Creator to forget their Creation limits their existence and power.
When Creation mentions how his Creator’s discovery might result in a reset, could that be it? Maybe Creation is concerned that discovery will end in resetting Tubbo’s memory and life on the island entirely?

i just know you're cooking up something crazy with the jericho stuff
maybe i will talk about it. i just haven't been too in-depth about my theories because being potentially catastrophically incorrect about this would be SOOOOO embarrassing LOL but i'll put my foot in the ring here. i wanted to wait until i caught up with the new episodes to see how the anime adapted the scenes but i'm bored, so.
the idea that's been floating in my brain almost since those chapters dropped is that she's under some kind of mind-manipulation. we do know arthur has that capability, he's been using it to control the people he makes work for him.
since the main villain is literally "chaos", choosing to use her as a tool in such a traumatic and destructive way like this would just make a lot of sense. and could serve a lot of purposes for arthur. theory is a bit long so it's going under the readmore.
i'm currently under the belief that he warped her mind this way for one (or all) of these possible reasons.
to generally just cause chaos. it's implied that jericho and lancelot were investigating the chaos knights and this would be an insane way to get back at her/mess with her life for it.
to push lancelot away from guinevere. he may be aware that lancelot and guinevere's fates are connected to each other. he wants guinevere for her power, he can't let an opposing force connect with her.
arthur may believe that fighting this lancelot guy is crucial to his own destiny and goals in some way? so he did something to cause him to hate him. he acts quite smug about this when they first meet officially. it seems like he's asking a question he knows the answer to. more-or-less indirectly saying, "yeah. i did something to piss you off."
Tumblr media
arthur didn't know that lancelot was one of the four knights, but he recognized his name and had a strong reaction to it. he's also seen his face before, but didn't connect that significant name to this boy. maybe it's because jericho's future vision of lancelot is explicitly really, really feminine (interesting choice, nakaba...) he looks nothing like lancelot, basically.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you could say he's just aware of him because of jericho, but this response comes across like the name has importance to him, and not just simply him recognizing lancelot as jericho's former student. hearing "lancelot" nearly stopped arthur in his tracks. this is before arthur officially abducted guinevere, too.
i'm under the belief that arthur was clued into the fact that guinevere has been searching for lancelot-- she's been doing this for years, investigating at random trying to find him by her own words. if arthur has been tailing her, there's no doubt that he'd have heard lancelot's name come up.
Tumblr media
okay please stick with me i have to do a brief analysis on her introduction with guila in order to elaborate on my point here.
something else that i believe supports this is the fact that during guila and jericho's introduction together in the sequel, guila's mini-arc with gowther was brought up for the first time since chapter 168 of the original manga. ie: when she was brainwashed to love gowther for his own selfish experiments/motivations.
Tumblr media
throughout the series, guila and jericho tend to parallel each other a lot. even when they're separated, their arcs often coincided. in the end of the original manga, it concluded with their epilogue being "together." their introductory scene in the sequel put heavy focus on the fact that they parallel each other. the way they couldn't land any hits on each other because they know each other's bodies and movements so well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
despite jericho being full villain mode, she still didn't want to hurt guila. there was a softness here. she refused to harm her unless guila did first, she gave her many chances to leave so it didn't have to come to that. jericho is lancelot's teacher, older sister, and supposedly in love with him. but her introduction is all about her fated connections with guila and the care she has for her, even when she has to face her as an enemy.
Tumblr media
if jericho's relationship with lancelot was truly meant to be genuine, i feel like nakaba would've introduced jericho in the sequel by fighting lancelot instead, and not guila. but he doesn't. we have this multi-chapter fight with heavy emphasis on her relationship to guila and the way they always find each other again after falling apart.
two sisters-in-arms, fire and ice, forever linked together. her fight with guila is actually a direct callback to her introduction with fighting ban in the prison, too. which is um... an interesting comparison to make, all context considered.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the title of this chapter refers to the sudden reveal that guila managed to master some kind of body horror ability with the latent demon power she has in her. but in my opinion, it refers to both of them. so how has jericho "transformed" in such a way that can be directly compared to guila's shape-shifting?
and despite the significance behind the plot-twist with jericho and lancelot, the databook that released doesn't reflect this at all. jericho's main quote here is when she's speaking to guila. the japanese text is the line she's saying in the panel i'm adding alongside it. the line nakaba chose to represent 4kota-jericho is her telling guila that she'll be forced to kill her if guila isn't backing down. nothing to do with lancelot at all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(guila's quote on her databook page is when she tells jericho that she has a duty to uphold as a holy knight, so she can't back down. they're directly speaking to each other. just to further emphasize this.)
meanwhile, the panel about loving lancelot is a tiny blurb. not even her personality description mentions it. it's just kind of a side detail. ultimately, she's still being centered around her dynamic with guila, like she always has been. i think this detail is fascinating and important.
anyways, jericho also had a really sudden shift in personality the moment lancelot entered the scene and touched her, like it triggered something. i'm really curious to see how the anime handled her voice-work at this moment.
circling back to the gowther situation being randomly brought up. the fact that jericho was being more like her old self (although a bit villainous, like her arc one personality) with guila and then having a sudden personality change when lancelot engages with her, reminds me a lot of this.
Tumblr media
(edit: i'm dying, i forgot the punchline of this scene was that jericho became disturbed since she knows guila has no men in her life besides her little brother and couldn't think of anyone she'd be referring to. more emphasis on how jericho is very much not for predatory behavior.)
in the original series, jericho's presence seemed to have temporarily disrupted gowther's brainwashing, only for guila to suddenly have this insane shift in demeanor the moment gowther appeared again and she was forced to question her memories. this is also the first time the audience is clued into the fact something is deeply wrong here. it's so similar that it's difficult to ignore.
this panel in particular when guila first brings up lancelot reminds me of guila's reaction when jericho questioned her about how she managed to survive unscathed. like their true memories were getting mixed up after suddenly having to question reality.
Tumblr media
kudos to my friend ren for this next observation: guila and jericho have also strongly paralleled hendrickson and dreyfus respectively as early as the original manga. guila suddenly having demon powers is a reminder of that. if you recall, an aspect of hendrickson and dreyfus' dynamic is the fact dreyfus ended up being a corrupted figure in power because he was having his mind tampered with in an extremely similar way.
so not only is jericho's current situation possibly reflecting what happened to guila before, it may also be further connected to dreyfus.
in regards to what i mean by the "shift" in personality: before lancelot directly makes contact with her, she's still in her smug-battle state.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the chapter where this reveal drops is called "a burning, freezing heart" which still draws more connection to her dynamic with guila than lancelot. the title is very much a reminder of their relationship-- especially after that huge focus in the battle where jericho froze guila's fire-- and not really necessarily about lancelot at all.
despite lancelot showing up-- this boy she supposedly loves-- her focus here is on guila more than anything else initially. her dialogue here in japanese is less "no hard feelings [from me]" and more her asking guila, "please don't hate me for this." but once he engages with her to save guila's life... something shifts.
there's even this notable focus on her gasping at the contact. all attention on her delicate relationship with her friend and partner shatters in an instant.
Tumblr media
nakaba also visualizes this by having lancelot touch where the brand arthur left on her body is. and now all of a sudden, her demeanor became wildly different. it feels unnatural.
Tumblr media
especially with the entirety of jericho's character in mind. she's exceptionally good with kids, acts as an older sister to both zeal and lancelot. one of the films also dedicates a scene to how good she is with children, when she's on patrol with guila and they encounter some kids playing in the street. she's an honorable knight with a strong moral code.
the two-parter movies also back this idea up, in my opinion. they take place about a year before the sequel manga begins. jericho is still watching over lancelot from a distance and behaving like her usual self.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
nakaba could've used this point in the movie to set-up the whole "secret admirer weirdo" thing, but instead it's just her being the cool level-headed sisterly master that she was to him. sometime between then and now, she was taken in by arthur as a chaos knight and began to act a lot differently.
the one-shot has a moment that i feel serves as a red-herring for this plot point. out of context, you'd think it supports the idea that her words to lancelot are 100% legit and serious. in-context, it's not inherently weird and even elaine says so herself after the fact. she's literally just doting on him. lancelot only initially interpreted it as weird because he was just told the same thing by someone who had ill-intent with him. i think this scene exists to create doubt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
not to mention the fact that if jericho had been harboring these feelings for the three years they were spirited away, lancelot would know. he's a fairy, he can read hearts. he does it a lot, almost constantly using it so he's clued into everything around him. lancelot was doing it in that scene i just posted, too. he would've known. but he had no reason to suspect this was supposedly happening.
because it... probably wasn't! this is likely a new development manufactured by arthur for some villainous motivation, to create tragedy and conflict. this is not jericho's first run-in with being dragged into a cult and manipulated to behave in ways that go against her moral codes. she's a professional at this point.
the reason jericho up and left lancelot (if the version she tells turns out to be a fabrication) remains a mystery. i think it's possible it had something to do with his well-being. especially if she was looking into arthur, and we know arthur was aware this mysterious lancelot guy is a detriment to his goals with guinevere. i think it's possible she also could've made a deal of some kind but things got out of hand and she became a pawn, kind of like what happened to her in the first series.
if i'm wrong i'm going to be so embarrassed that i jump into traffic.

I'd give you an analysis, but frankly from what I've seen from your own "analysis" you're not very good at reading
also if you'd be so kind to tag this as mha spoilers, or screenshot this ask and put it under a read more so i dont spoil anyone who's interested in reading mha. it'd be greatly appreciated
(also thanks for getting rid of anon, this time i will include pics !)
anyway, this is the "straight dude who is having a typical cutesy high school het romance with a girl in a taken for granted het world." you're talking about;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
also i wont lie, calling mha a het world when these are real dialogue is highkey stupid:
Tumblr media
and i know the topic at hand is s/n/s and bk/dk but lets pivot to tg/chk bc theyre more relevant to what im saying
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
theres a lot to say but honestly, the manga speaks for itself :)
oh and also, you're right, bk/dk has no romantic subtext - it has romantic text. no subtlety needed! :) that is, if you have read the manga - my favourite example is this:
Tumblr media
and then shgrk then proceeds to kill bkg, who "dies" (sort of) thinking about izuku in his final moments:
Tumblr media
and then izk loses control when he sees bkg "dead" on the ground
Tumblr media
and these are from recent chapters! imagine the rest of the series, ey
well! that got long. i'd tackle your crappy assessment of deku's character, but then I'd be here all day!
anyways, if i were you, I'd reread mha and really really understand the text you're reading. you might end up seeing something you missed at first!
Aiyyo someone got triggered! Hehehe. Ah it was inevitable that the moment I talked about MHA and rejected shippy head canons from the show, some delusional hardcore shipper would get all up in arms. Sigh.
You think what you wrote is analysis? Hehehe.
So just some random panels and chapter covers from the manga prove Bakugou or Deku is gay? Lol. I have seen fans like you in Naruto fandom as well. But you are right, I am not as invested in MHA, because it just doesn't have the versatility and genius of Naruto and Shippuden, it is actually quite a straightforward story and I don't need to burn a lot of my braincells to 'get it'. Lol. I am not saying it's bad, but as compared to its contemporary mangas, it just isn't at par for my tastes. It's good for entertainment but it doesn't affect me like other mangas that it takes inspiration from. Some silly shipper telling me I can't read, I would tell you my credentials but nah, too much work for disproving silly ass headcanons.
Fans make comparisons between Naruto and BNHA because Horikoshi is inspired by Kishimoto, definitely some similarities are there, but it misses on the most crucial point. Naruto and Shippuden are love stories. BNHA is simply your typical shounen manga. Naruto and Shippuden use the narrative tool of subversion to tell a love story in the restrictive genre of shounen. It has multiple layers and you need presence of mind to see them. Naruto is gay and you see comphet in his character, his interest in Sakura looks superficial from the beginning and then in kage arc, it is concluded as a mere cover to run from confronting his dilemma, and closetedness. His character is consistently shown as having an internal fight, a dilemma. Sasuke is just on your face, he is clearly shown as having no interest in women, but with Naruto he is especially intimate on his own accord. Ya know, using random panels ain't gonna help, you need to establish it in the narrative. Headcanons are all nice to entertain when that's all you watch media for, shipping. But please to be showing more maturity and media comprehension when sending me an ask, I am not very sympathetic to gaslighters whose heads are filled with shippy shit and cheap self gratification. When I talk Naruto, I make comparisons with other clearly gay media, and point out the common tropes, it's a result of expansive research. Not just random panels that prove nothing. Little one, you need more than that to prove your theories. I have watched a wide range of media, including gay media, your ask is just representative of your ignorance and lack of knowledge about how storytelling and character building works. Heh. Or do you think BNHA has its own concept of homosexuality, its own private language that cannot be compared with how other media establishes homosexuality in a given universe? Yeah, solipsistic ideas like that cannot be taken seriously.
Conformity is one of the pillars Japanese society is built upon, so it's not surprising that Japanese media talks upon how anything that doesn't conform to the norms is rejected. Their media is representative of their society. Mha also touches upon that and there's no surprises there, but again, you need more than that to prove it in the course of plot building and narrative. Some random out of context panel about some character saying something about conformity proves your point? You need to SHOW it and not just tell. But where other mangas, great mangas, popular and critically well acclaimed mangas have explored this idea in detail, MHA is just touch and go. It doesn't entertain a balanced proper discourse on it. It is truly shounen in that sense. Again, I am not saying it is bad, it is just more age appropriate. Which is totally fine. Do you know how heteronormativity is established in the narrative? Like this. Show me where this happens in MHA. Lol. Sweetheart, if the writer had made any attempt to write this world as heteronormative, where gay characters face challenges, I would have seen it. But mha is just not that deep. Sorry to burst your bubble. But that's just a fact.
Seriously, you are going to give me the example of Toga? I haven't gone through the recent chapters yet. I have only watched the anime. But it is clear that, that girl is medically insane. Her idea of liking someone is to kill that person and drink their blood, for her own pleasure. She ain't a homosexual, more like hemosexual. Hahaha. Again, you gotta show me the trajectory of her character, start with the base and show me how it escalates, how does she learn better about herself, her own feelings, the world from her perspective. No character is isolated, any writer who is talented enough to write multimillion franchise knows that. Don't project your assumptions on the story and the characters, work with what you have and draw the meaning from what's given, not the other way round.
There is no doubt Izuku and Bakugou have a strong relationship, even if it is mostly rivalry. But one can see that Bakugou cares about Deku and vice versa. Before telling me how to read, perhaps you should have done it yourself. Lol, I see this type of behaviour a lot from typical silly shippy shippers. "What, did you just say my ship makes no sense? 🤬"
Read.
Do you even know what subtext or text is? Hahah. This is text and subtext. So just because Bakugou and Deku talk about their rivalry in their vulnerable moments, that the audience knows as congruent since we have already seen they have a hot and cold relationship but that they are friends nonetheless, that proves they love each other romantically? You obviously don't know how romance tropes work. The dynamic between two men who respect and admire each other is always shown with a lot of empathy in Japanese media. It is one of the founding pillars of shounen, a genre meant for teenaged boys. They are certainly closer to each other than they are with women they are interested in, but a lot of fans such as yourself misinterpret it as romantic, because headcanon goggles. No, you gotta have more than that. Where Naruto and Shippuden have it in truckloads, none of that in BNHA. Deku is heterosexual af. If he is so interested in Bakugou, how come he reacts the way he reacts to Uraraka? Where is his conflict? Where is his dilemma? His affection and romantic interest in Uraraka is genuine and sincere, not a cover to hide his more private feelings. Unlike in Naruto's case. Kishi uses clever narrative tricks and tools to tell his love story in shounen and he does it skillfully. His motives and intentions are clear as water. He uses inventive smokescreens and red herrings to escape from being too controversial and colour inside the borders of shounen, nothing like that in BNHA. To begin with, Horikoshi doesn't even delve into the sexualities of his characters, because his story is not about that. There's no context, no set up, nothing. His worldbuilding is simply conventional, by which I mean heteronormative, there's no talk about sexual orientation of characters. You see the usual shounen perviness by Mineta and Kaminari and typical straight girls going kawaai over good looking boys like Todoroki, what impression does that give? If Horikoshi wanted to establish his characters being gay, he would have set up the context mindfully and carefully, like Kishi did. Gay relationships and characters can't be shown so explicitly in shounen as that would jeopardize its distribution in the west. Reason? Censorship. That's why Kishi had to be so careful, his target audience might not get it, but the adults do. Well, unbiased adults do, at the very least. So the boys in bnha are gay just because? Because you want them to be? Storytelling and character building doesn't work like that.
Seriously everything you think works as 'analysis' isn't even valid. I honestly didn't even want to respond to this ask, given it's so surface level and ridiculously simple minded. Perhaps you are a tween or teen who thinks every time two boys or girls smile at each other or rescue each other, they are gay and in love. Lol, watch gay media. Like actually watch it and see where your arguments stand in the scheme of things. I will tell you, nowhere. Juvenile kiddy stuff. I won't entertain anymore asks like these, they are a waste of my time.

gigglesnervously... this is so unlike me completely forgot about sending this ask to you. but now i have, so i simply must know how was your march reading? also any other media you've picked up i love your words
IMO BABE u could send our monthly round-up message 1 day before the month's over or 1 week After it's over and I would likely still be horribly unprepared LOL 💟 3 reads in march!
God's Beauty Parlor: And Other Queer Spaces in and Around the Bible by Stephen D. Moore
this was so funny to read in public, flipping through various pictures of Jesus and biblical scenes on the plane and subtly angling the cover to assure my fellow passengers that It's In A Queer Theory Way, Not Evangelical Way... LOL substance-wise, this was a bit all over the place. of course I'm not a biblical studies aficionado, but I've read similarly dense ethnographies/nonfiction to expect a sort of cohesion necessary when sharing extensive research with an audience you must assume doesn't know even half of what you know. it's the basics of essay-writing, even. and while I understand that when the referential material is something as grand as the literal bible (and its numerous interpretations) there are bound to be footnotes and context necessary for #background, the sheer amount of references took me out of it too many times. so tedious to have to flip to the back of the book every paragraph to read another supplementary 5 paragraphs simply to understand the context for 2 lines; it felt like a chore to pick this one up, or like a heavy commitment that made it impossible to read outside of a dedicated afternoon saved for reading alone. still, somehow, I never loathed it enough to give up reading entirely because the topic itself was so—and I hate to use this word, but—niche that I knew it was either sticking with this or endlessly scouring the internet for random sources regarding biblical queer theory that would likely lack the cohesion even more compared to a dedicated research book. I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone that doesn't have vested interest in both of those things, but I'll admit I'm already seeking out Moore's other writing (with a long, premature sigh of fatigue)
Le Livre Blanc by Jean Cocteau
years ago I listened to an Eve Babitz audiobook (Eve's Hollywood, I think) where she mentions a Jean Cocteau quote she has pinned on her fridge: "the privileges of beauty are enormous." I'd made a note of it and kept going back to it without ever actually checking Cocteau out (when I looked it up, it never linked it to a specific work of his so I assumed it was just a one-off quote). back in january when I read Against Interpretation and watched some Robert Bresson films in preparation for Sontag's Bresson analysis, I watched Les Dames du bois de Boulogne ('45) which was written by Cocteau. then, when perusing a bookshop the next month, I found this bite-sized read buried on the staff picks' shelf. I knew nothing about it but picked it up thinking it'd be an inconsequential dip into his writing, and LO AND BEHOLD, this is the book with The quote (though worded differently): "beauty holds vast privileges." it felt so special and serendipitous to come across this quote again, from its origin no less! I don't think I can attempt a review of the story itself without bias knowing its historical/societal context, so I'll just emphasize how special it feels to have come across this the way that I did
The Stranger by Albert Camus
I'd think it'd be more infuriating, or at the very least Tedious, to read about someone so unmoved/uninvolved with his own life, but I think the grip it held on me came from the baited-breath expectancy of a dramatic epiphany (which, spoiler, never came). not to bring up Bresson again, but this really did remind me a lot of his films with its cold and almost methodological feel—no purple prose or indulgence, just hollow shells of men going through the motions of life and dealing with the facts of the matter. cyclical, unfeeling, unaffected—you want him to "get better", but you end up questioning Why or what that would even look like. I just know the beanie-wearing menthol-smoking IPA-drinking philosophy bros go crazy with this one
with my head hung in shame, I must also report to you my first DNF of the year: Directed By Desire by June Jordan </3 here's where I think I went wrong:
1. I'm admittedly not big on poetry. I enjoy it when I read it and try to read a casual amount throughout the year, but not enough to delve into a 600+ page collection
2. the fact that this was a 600+ page collection (her collected works)!! I liked what I did read (I logged the books I did get through on goodreads for reference if/when I'm ready to pick back up on her poetry where I left off), but it's the type of commitment that would be more suited for an author I've been a longtime fan of vs. simply dipping my toes into the works of for the first time
3. my own incorrect approach to poetry. I used to think it was as simple as picking up and putting down here and there when I have a free moment, but that does such a disservice of stripping away the context, especially from a figure so revolutionary on various fronts like Jordan. like it's one thing to just read through a poem, then the next, then the next, but a different thing to read a poem and sit with it and absorb and analyze it. or IDK maybe I'm just too nonfiction-minded and unnecessarily making things harder for myself, but I feel almost as if a True reading of a poetry (for me) from now on would require so much more than just reading the poetry itself ykwim.. ok my brain is broken bye LMAO
I've already talked so much but since you asked about other media I'll quickly list off my top watches:
tv: Survivor (s7 baby!!) + La Casa De Las Flores (a lush and campy telenovela that feels like it's set at pee wee's playhouse—I can't get enough)
films: The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie ('72) dir. Luis Buñuel; The Lickerish Quartet ('70) dir. Radley Metzger; Pulse (2001) dir. Kiyoshi Kurosawa; early Juzo Itami films, particularly Tampopo ('85) which instantly cemented itself into my letterboxd top 4 (a change I usually reserve for the end of the year)

Chaos Emerald Filmverse Theory Analysis - Everyone’s Actual F*cking Gemstones
Tumblr media
Important Note: This analysis follows the Chaos Emerald Filmverse theory posted by @birdsareblooming, as well as my previous theories about who could fill out the roster: the first six being discussed here (along with some random speculation on teal) and teal itself being discussed here in a very Pepe Silvia manner.
So, fun fact for anyone who’s not a gemologist or had a Steven Universe hyperfixation as a kid- the Chaos Emeralds are not actually emeralds. “Emerald” is only a word used for a specific type of Green Beryl, with other colors of Beryl having their own names. Which means that Scourge, with his Anarchy Beryls, is actually a better gemologist than literally every other dimension.
However, if you recall my previous theories, that means that in my Chaos Emerald Filmverse Roster, we don’t actually have emeralds- my prediction is that the only green one will be the Master Emerald. Instead, here’s my current, colorful roster:
Tumblr media
Now, that means that everyone actually has their own gemstone- and fun fact, different gemstones tend to have different meanings and properties in general culture.
So what’s everyone’s actual stone? Well let’s find out!
Edit 09/17/2021: Found some properties of Maxixe and edited accordingly.
Disclaimer: Many people believe that these meanings and spiritual properties of gemstones are real; many others do not. Let’s keep things respectful, okay? If I see people fighting in the notes I’m gonna chaos-control you to the moon, okay? Okay.
1. Sonic’s Deep Blue - Maxixe
Tumblr media
Maxixe is technically an aquamarine, noted as separate due to its darker color. Commonly found in Madagascar, it is notable for fading to clear, white, or an otherwise light color when exposed to sunlight or heat, though the color eventually can return with irradiation- soooo Im just gonna say “HyperSonic” and move on...
As Maxixe is one of the lesser-known varieties of Beryl, it doesn’t have a lot of symbolic meaning, though it is believed to have healing properties on its own. But after searching for like, forever, I finally found some stuff!
First of all, maxixe is associated, above all else, with self-confidence.[b5, ma2] Most websites I found only listed self-confidence as a trait, which... not gonna say that doesn’t fit. But I did manage to find some other traits- as it’s connected to Aquamarine, it shares its energies of positivity and releasing of prejudice. [see section 6 for more] Specifically, though, Maxixe also has traits of clarity, recovering from emotional baggage, tuning into proper guidance, and finding love again after heartbreak.
It’s also very much associated with calmness and tranquillity. That’s something Sonic could really use lol.
2. Tails’s Gold - Heliodor
Tumblr media
Tails’s golden beryl is known as a Heliodor. While it’s technically only the name for the pale green-yellow shade, its name usually is used to encompass the orange, gold and brown as well. Its name is derived from greek and means “gift of the sun,” and can be produced in Russia, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Nambia, Brazil, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Madagascar. Due to its color, it’s descibred as the most “brilliant” of all beryls- and that word may be used in more than one context!
Heliodor is said to be filled with the sun’s warmth, and can be used to center a mind and fill one with “warm and loving energies.”[h1] It’s also supposed to help one become more active and energetic, and boost self-confidence. Meditation with the stone is supposed to help one discover their true worth, and the stone also, very interestingly, invokes knowledge and wisdom, as well as selfless leadership.
Heliodor is also said to bring out honesty and compassion, to regain losses, and to provide relief from burdens. They have also been used in the past as seer stones.[h2]
3. Shadow’s Red - Bixbite
Tumblr media
Our dear goth hedgehog, Shadow, likely gets his red energy from the red beryl, Bixbite. While it’s more commonly referred to simply as the “red emerald” or “scarlet emerald,” the beryl was first discovered in America- and can only be found in a few very specific locations, so basically only Utah and New Mexico.
Bixbite is considered representative of action and energy, meant to help determine when it is the right time to make a change in your life. It’s also supposed to gift wisdom, self-esteem, strength of purpose and courage in tough situations. It should remove irrational fears, a victim mentality, and deepen loyalty. It also is supposed to be “beneficial in recovering from a long illness.” and to help those in co-dependent relationships,[b4] as well as to help overcome grief and depression.[b1] It’s also, very hilariously in Shadow’s case, supposed to defend against negativity.
I don’t mention a lot in this analysis which body parts/chakras/whatever these are connected to, but I do think it’s interesting that constantly, bixbite is described as a gemstone connected to the heart.
4. Silver’s Silver - Goshenite
Tumblr media
Silver’s emerald is the exact same color as his fur and name, and is likely Goshenite. Technically, Goshenite is colorless and clear; it can also be colored otherwise by irradiating it with high-energy particles. While Goshenite was discovered in Goshen, Massachusetts, USA, it can be found all over the world, though it’s thought that the best quality can be found in Brazil. It is very often associated with motherhood, but also with the moon and angels.
Now, Goshenite is considered to have one of the “purest energy fields” of healing stones, having a nurturing and protective aura. It’s also associated with pure truth and uncovering what is hidden- in fact, it’s mainly associated with honesty and fidelity. It is also noted to provide respect for nature, purity of soul, and spiritual growth and fulfillment. It’s thought to help one see a problem from every angle, resolve misunderstandings, and to give one the will to do what has to be done.
Goshenite is also supposed to bring about “massive change,” as well as center the other beryl energies. Also, fun fact, it’s supposed to improve logic, creativity and mathematic ability.
5. Amy’s Pink - Morganite
Tumblr media
The green emerald being turned pink was discussed here, and it works out great, as it fits a specific variety of beryl- the Morganite! Morganite has literally been described as “rose-colored”, and sometimes even just the “rose beryl;” though it’s pink, it can also be found in orange and yellow colors. First discovered in California and Madagascar, and named the "Rose of Maine” after it was found in that state, it can also be found in Brazil, Afghanistan, Mozambique and Namibia.
The Morganite is also considered to carry divine love, compassion, and healing. It is described as having an optimistic energy, “stepping through the world as though you are walking on air.” It is said to be a nurturer, ready to “open you up to the wonders that are waiting for you in the wider world.”[mo5] The love it produces is not only outward, but inward, promoting self-confidence and care, and the belief that all suffering is meant to further your growth; as such, it is associated with healing from heartache or trauma. It’s also supposed to improve communication between parties.
Morganite is also highkey associated with innocence, sweetness, romance and love, and believed to bring compassion, inner peace, promise, fairness, assurance, and spiritual growth. And, well, very fitting for Amy, it is often used to “attract one’s soulmate.”[mo7]
6. Cream’s Teal - Aquamarine
Tumblr media
The light blue emerald I find likely to belong to Cream and Cheese is an Aquamarine. The lighter blue version of maxixe, it is found mainly in Brazil, as well as in Nigeria, Madagascar, the United States, Zambia, Russia, Pakistan and Mozambique. And unlike maxixe, there is a lot here so strap in!
Hence its name, it is often associated with the sea, often called the “mermaid stone.” As well as this, it’s believed to “counteract the forces of darkness and to invite the protection and favor of the spirits of the light.”[a3] It’s said that sailors would carry an Aquamarine in the belief it would protect them from drowning, purify water, grant them safe passage through stormy weather, or provide the antidote to poison or mermaid spells. The Egyptians considered it a symbol of happiness, and the Greeks considered it sacred to Neptune, carrying the call of the ocean.
Aquamarine is believed to have a LOT of healing properties, for both mental and physical wellbeing. It invites feelings of serenity, reflection, and emotional clarity. It is also supposed to help one set aside judgement, build empathy and improve tolerance. It is said to help the sensitive and nurturing, and to be a good stone to improve focus and inner resilience. It is a stone of justice, responsibility and compassion, and it is believed to help settle quarrels.
It is said that aquamarine “represents exhilaration as well as relaxing calm,” encouraging a release of negative feelings and a firm foundation in trust and honesty. It’s also supposed to help with public speaking, as well as embracing change and handling grief. All in all, it is said to represent those who wish to be servants to the world.
7. Blaze’s Purple - Johnkoivulaite
Tumblr media
Blaze’s purple was interesting, as for a long time, there were only six varities of beryl. However, in 2019, a new beryl was uncovered, in a purple color. Named Johnkoivulaite after the scientist who found it, it was first found in Myanmar and is noted to have very stromg pleochroism, going from purple to colorless when under polarized light- so, like Sonic’s beryl, it changes to clear at times.
As it’s such a new discover, crystal healing people haven’t really gotten onto the spiritual meanings yet, so now’s a great time to talk about the meanings of the overall Beryl.
The Beryl is believed to promote courage and inner strength, as well as relieve stress and anxiety. It’s also believed to help one realize their potential, and “encourage an optimistic view of the world.”[b3] The gem is supposed to help one balance changes in their life, focus on their goals, and realize their own potential. It also is used for promoting creativity, pushing to overcome challenges, and adaptability. It’s also said that beryl can sometimes help one “let go of unnecessary emotional baggage.”[b1]
Many Beryls are also said to protect against an “evil eye.” Which... I don’t wanna get my hopes up, but wouldn’t it be so cool if. black doom. eye
So in conclusion? I went through a Steven Universe phrase and you can tell.

A problem with the Tales Of Arcadia community
First and foremost, I’d like to ask anyone taking the time to read this to please read the post all the way through before commenting on the matter. There is a lot of dirty laundry to unpack here, and some points will be building off previous ones.
I’ll get right to the point. Most everybody in the Tales of Arcadia fandom will have heard of the blog imthegingerninja / ginger-le-gay. She is one of the most well-known ToA-centric blogs, after all. (If you’re wanting to avoid her on Twitter as well, her account is Margaret Bell, or @The_Book_Bell.)
This is your PSA, TOA fandom: Ginger is a toxic, manipulative person.
This is not a claim I like to make lightly, but it’s long overdue that this issue is properly brought up within the fandom.
I’ve seen so many people wonder why the Tales of Arcadia fandom is so small. Well, I and many others very strongly believe that Ginger is one of the main reasons for that, if not the main one. To make matters easier, I’ve tried to break this down into some main points. So let’s take a look at how Ginger falls under this category.
Disclaimer: Please DO NOT look at this post as an excuse to harass Ginger or any other blog mentioned here. This sort of behavior is NOT acceptable. The point of this post is to educate those who may not know the extent of her harrowing behavior, nothing more.
1. Dishonesty and Death Threats
[EDIT: Shortly after this post went up, she started blatantly lying about me to try to cover for herself. You can see those lies being easily disproven here]
Ginger has been kicked from at least three Tales of Arcadia servers, all for similar reasons of violence. While I cannot provide screenshots as I am no longer part of the servers they were in, there are multiple witnesses that can verify the disgusting behavior she engaged in. The one I saw specifically was her saying that certain members of the fandom should be gathered up and hunted for sport, among other gross things. (Elaboration of why can be found in point 3, though it still doesn’t excuse this kind of talk)
Here is some points made by another blog that also sums up similar issues with Ginger, though:
Tumblr media
While there were multiple instances of her inciting violence towards others, this is unfortunately one topic I cannot provide specific screenshots for at this time. But I will add them in as I can find them. That being said, I want to move to the dishonesty, something I do have a screenshot for.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
While you could argue that people sometimes notice the similar things, this is far too close together to be considered an “original find”. The reblog button is there for a reason, but she instead decides to steal the OP’s premise and present it as her own original thought.
There have been a couple other blogs that have confirmed that their theories and analysis posts were often stolen and presented as Ginger’s own as well, to the point where they stopped bothering even making such posts, as the above blog points out. (Out of respect for their privacy, I will not be naming these blogs. Say what you will about that possibly weakening my point, but if she’s willing to so blatantly steal from that person shown above, it shouldn’t surprise you that she’s so willing to do it to others.)
Theory-making and analysis posts aren’t as solidly “original content” as a piece of art or fanfiction, sure, but it’s still common fandom courtesy to give credit where it’s due. Ginger has intentionally avoided extending that courtesy far too many times.
2. Hypocrisy
Most of this is going to be about past Merlin vs. Morgana drama, though there are also words to be said for the incredibly shaky relationships she forms with “friends”.
But first let’s talk about those wizards.
This is a topic I’ve tried to approach with Ginger before, but she borderline refused to acknowledge any of the points I was trying to make, and when she did, I don’t know if I just wasn’t being clear or what, but it honestly looked as though she was purposefully trying to misunderstand what I was saying in her bizarre responses. (To be fair, I was sending messages out of anger because she vagueposted about a blog I admired, calling them a “disgusting creep” because of them simply saying they’d hoped Jim and Merlin would be able to actually bond at some point... Not really a justifiable reaction to such a harmless thought, in my opinion. But my point is, I recognize that the circumstances may have clouded my ability to vocalize my thoughts clearly.)
That aside, we should first acknowledge this post Ginger made to save face after having gotten some backlash about hate-train related things (Side note: I couldn’t find the original post, so this is a screenshot I got from someone else. I did not add the writing. The text underneath it should still be slightly readable, I hope.):
Tumblr media
Taken at face value, this is a very reasonable post. I think everybody would and should be able to agree on it. Hate-meme him for fun, sure, but don’t actually harass or insult others over a fictional character. Simple, right?
Apparently not, because Ginger’s done loads of that to others. Probably why the “LOL” was added in, I bet.
Tumblr media
This post confused me. First of all, exploring dark topics (”angst”, as you put it) has never been a rare occurrence, every fandom has that content, most in heavy abundance. I’ve noticed no staggering difference in volume of this fandom compared to others I’ve been in. People enjoy angst not because they think the character “deserves to be in pain”, they enjoy a fictional blow to their own emotions. There’s lots of different reasons people like angst, but it’s barely ever been out of a genuine hate for whatever character’s the focus, from all the things I’ve seen. Your own friends have indulged in Jim angst and body horror posts before, does that mean you think they’re awful people? I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain something like this.
Also, way to basically admit you think all Merlin stans get off on child torture. So much for “If you like Merlin as a character, you’re valid”, am I right? God, what a mess of a post. (It’s been very recently deleted, which makes me wonder if she got more backlash on it, but just... wow.)
Let’s look at another one.
Tumblr media
Again. Vagueposting about someone specific, I’d wager, since most of the people I’ve seen comment on this topic either think both characters are morally gray, or hate both.
But of course, when it comes to Morgana, suddenly excusing bad behavior can be justified. Ginger can call someone a disgusting creep because they want a familial bond between Jim and Merlin, that’s just wrong, but pushing the Mom-gana narrative with the genocidal abuser and Toby is completely fine, folks.
(Note: I would like to point out that I really don’t care about what theories and hopes people have for Morgana. You should be allowed to love that character in any way you want, same as I would say for Merlin. My issue with these examples is the completely brazen hypocrisy in which these two characters are treated. You’re obviously allowed to love Morgana without consequence, but the same should be said for any character of the show, and yet it’s not.)
The most obvious instance of this double-standard is well observable here, I believe:
Tumblr media
... I think this mostly speaks for itself. Sorry, but this is very blatantly trying to excuse Morgana’s actions, here.
Oh hey, remember that post about Ginger saying that liking Merlin must mean you want to see Jim in horrible pain?
Say anything similar about her with Morgana, and suddenly she takes issue with this line of reasoning!
Tumblr media
I’m sorry, but if you can’t take this sort of thing, then you shouldn’t be dishing it out. One of your own friends is still getting hate over the simple fact of liking Merlin, and all this mentality is exactly why.
Let’s look at one more.
Tumblr media
Fun fact! Morgana horrifically abused somebody for centuries, tried to kill multiple kids, took horrible advantage of Claire (probably traumatized her), and canonically wanted to genocide humanity, not to mention all the OTHER murders she's committed, both directly and indirectly.
But somehow pointing any of this out “doesn’t count”. This is why the fandom keeps saying more and more things like this:
Tumblr media
And this:
Tumblr media
I could be going through her constant hating on Merlin and people who like Merlin for days straight, but I hope you all get the idea by now.
Again, I would like to just reiterate: You can like whatever character you want for whatever reason you want. The problem with this case is the hypocrisy and mistreatment of others, not your taste in characters.
Now interestingly enough, she’s lately been singing a different tune about the guy, switching from the “I hate Merlin I hope he dies!!!” mentality to “Oh he should get a redemption arc too :)” sort of thing.
I’m highly convinced that the only reasons for this “change of heart” is because of the constant backlash she was getting for the obnoxious amount of hate posts being thrown around all the time, but also because Aaron Waltke keeps tabs on the fandom more lately, and has spoken himself about Merlin not being a villain.
I could go on about this point forever, but I think I’ll just leave the Merlin topic with this post going through the hypocrisy of the Merlin Hate Train. In fact, here’s two just for fun.
Now onto more real-world focused areas of hypocrisy. One such instance can be found in Ginger’s Janus Disorder server.
Just take a look at this post.
While the offender in this case isn’t Ginger specifically, it still takes place in her server, and she made no moves to enforce her “No discourse” rule. All over... what? A random kudos on a fanfiction that’s not even about anything controversial since all characters involved are adults? I immensely don’t understand the point of why this ever had to be an issue, or why nobody spoke up about how ridiculous this is.
I’d also like to point out a certain user called firecat17. For some quick context, waaay back in the Kung Fu Panda fandom (around 2018), this user had been harassing people and saying incredibly vile things, a person of which Ginger had a bit of a feud, but firecat’s anon threats had gotten to the point where Ginger ended up having to block their IP.
Obviously, the user firecat was the one in the wrong, here. (Also, the irony in this comment is through the roof...)
Tumblr media
Interesting point there, Ginger. Sure would be nice if you practiced what you preached.
Why am I bringing this random old drama up, you may ask? Well, it just strikes me as strange that someone who was so vile to Ginger is suddenly on her okay-list again, sending her asks and getting casual responses as if nothing ever happened.
Tumblr media
To be fair, there is the possibility that they worked out their differences in private. But given the severity of the kinds of words being exchanged, I would still find that rather suspicious.
When someone who’s said things so vile can be so easily forgiven, yet something as harmless as leaving a kudos on some random fanfiction is considered grounds for harassment, it’s obvious there’s no stability or room for trust among this group of people. Unsurprising when there’s been several instances of this “friend group” turning on each other.
If you think you’re somehow different, that your “friendship” with Ginger or the others is more valued than that, then I’m sorry to burst your bubble but it’s likely not true. She’d throw you under the bus at the hint of you doing something she deems problematic, as it’s happened to multiple blogs before you.
3. Demonization of and insensitivity towards s*xual abuse victims
(This topic is one that’s hard for me to talk about, being a victim of CSA myself, so I’ve gathered some different sources to do most of the main talking for me. I tried to form more commentary on this myself, but I get too emotionally charged in my responses, and I don’t want that to cloud any reader’s perception of what I’m trying to communicate here, so I’ll try to keep most of my comments brief on this one.)
One thing recently brought to my attention about Ginger and her squad that especially bothers me is their rashness in labeling people p*dophiles and p*do apologists. If these claims were true, then I wouldn’t have a problem with it.
But these people are accusing others of these horrible things and threatening them on the sole basis of fictional content.
Now before you fly off the handle at me, let me be very clear: I absolutely understand that there are gross people out there who use the “It’s all just fiction” argument to hide their actual, pr*datory behaviors. (We’ve all probably seen at least one or two neckbeard memes of that caliber)
But like it or not, exploring traumatic themes through a fictional lens is something that has been studied and proven to be a genuine coping mechanism for some. It’s not something that works for me, but I knew a few people from past therapy groups that it worked surprisingly well for. Bringing a trauma into a controlled environment and processing it through fictional means can and does help some victims deal with what they went through.
It’s important to understand that not everyone processes their experience in the same neat, little boxes you have laid out as the only “acceptable” ways of coping. Trauma fiction and expressive arts therapy are commonly used by victims, and it does help some people, whether you like it or not.
I’m already dragging this on too much, so here are some sources for better-worded information on the topic (Warning: Most of these deal with highly sensitive themes such as gun violence and s*xual abuse.)
Source 1 - Source 2 - Source 3 - Source 4 - Source 5 (pages 61 onward, specifically) - Source 6 - Source 7 - Source 8 - Source 9 - Source 10 (and believe me, if those all don’t satisfy you, I can easily supply more.)
And this quote from source 9 I think sums it up best:
“Fiction works differently. My imagination gives me a framework to process the grief and terror and the consequences, even when I myself have not found any resolution. It allows me to enter my own traumatic experiences sideways and linger inside them, if I know I can give them to characters who might be lucky enough to find the antidote: love, connection, community, family. In other words, I can enter — and exit — the trauma loop through stories that are not exactly the same as mine.
This goes for the reader also. Recent studies periodically assure us that stories — literary fiction, hardcover books, even the simple act of reading — promote empathy. We rarely have identical experiences, so fiction is how we practice linking our similar or parallel realities so we can feel them. This seems particularly useful in our current society, where we are all so separated, and are working so hard to block the violence that keeps happening to us from our minds.
Fiction connects us, and it can also contribute to our healing. When we see ourselves in worlds we don’t live in, like The Handmaid’s Tale or The Color Purple, sometimes, that very different violence helps us finally process our own. Because as much as our memoirs and testimonies are brave and validating, fiction does not just mirror our truths so they are safe to experience; it also helps us endure the aftermath. Because long after the immediate experience is over, survival struggles onward, in every moment of our daily lives.”
While most professionals have in the past advised that victims keep their trauma-related works more private, to only show it to your trusted friends or family, the fast-growing use of the internet has led more people to sharing it in an online platform, which is not unexpected behavior.
I unfortunately don’t have the screenshot of the original post, but there was a post made some time back literally telling a fandom member to go and hang themselves over this garbage. A survivor of s*xual abuse, no less. And to top that off, one of Ginger’s squad @emmy-puff commented in support of that violent post, as well as blatantly misgendering the target of it. While, again, I was unable to get screenshots, there are multiple witnesses to this instance, one Anonymous even having called them out on it back when it happened. (I suspect that Emmy deleted that answer due to how bad it made them look.) If anybody reading this has screenshots of the initial post or the ask that came of it, please feel free to share.
I don’t care who you are or who you’re talking about, if you use misgendering someone as a way to hurt them, then you are an insult to the trans community. That is an awful thing to do, and you lose so much credibility if that’s the only thing you can fall back on when getting in a fight with someone. While this post isn’t about Emmy specifically, this is exactly the kind of hateful rhetoric that’s being encouraged in the environment Ginger’s made.
Another thing I would like to point out on this matter is an instance that happened in the ToA fandom a couple years back. I, again, don’t have screenshots available (I believe the original post ended up deleted) but the post in question caused enough of a fuss that I’m sure a few people must remember it...
A while back, there was an artist that posted uncensored, untagged r*pe art of Aaarrrgghh, Gunmar, and Jim in the main Trollhunters tag. As you can imagine, this infuriated many people. Many of which are among the list of those who’ve been labeled “p*do apologists”. Almost the very minute that post showed up in the tag with no trigger warnings of any kind, the fandom immediately got on OP’s tail about it, because they all shared that basic understanding of “This is a traumatizing subject for many people and they should have the ability to avoid it”. If the people you’ve labelled as pr*dator supporters were really as awful as you say they are, they would’ve jumped to that person’s defense, too. But they were completely against OP’s horrible lack of consideration of survivors, right alongside the rest of the fandom.
Am I saying you have to like trauma fiction? Absolutely not. Are there people that make trauma fiction that are actual pr*dators? I’m sure there are. But those people would be that way whether trauma fiction was out there or not. Gross people have existed and will always exist regardless of what media is out there.
I deeply understand the controversy, uncertainty, and stress that surrounds this topic, I promise you, I do. But the fact of the matter is, some people actually do use trauma fiction and expressive arts therapy as a way of coping, as has been observed in people even from ages as young as 5. To say otherwise is blatantly untrue. This isn’t a matter of opinion or morals, this is plain, studied facts that you cannot change about human psychology.
Nobody should ever have to go through something as horrible as s*xual abuse of any kind, and I know how deeply upsetting it can be to see certain images or stories with those themes in play. Those users with a sense of decency and understanding for fellow victims will tag their posts with the appropriate warnings. After that, it’s up to you to filter out what you don’t want to see. You curate your own internet experience, and it’s just plain irrational to try and harass everyone into conforming to your rules. While it’s an 18+ blog’s job to make sure to tag and label their content appropriately, it is your job to block the things you don’t want to see, whether you’re an adult or a minor. It is YOUR job to blacklist content that you know will upset you, because it is always going to exist on the internet, and any internet user needs to know and understand that. Multiple times I’d seen people going off about posts that were already appropriately trigger-tagged. If you don’t have those upsetting tags blacklisted by now, then the fault is mostly on you in that kind of case, not the OP.
Before I end this topic off, just one more example of blatant disrespect towards victims:
Tumblr media
I’m sorry, but the absolute nerve of comparing some random fictional character you’re petty over to an actual pr*dator who’s terribly hurt real children is just awful. Imagine how insulted one of Onion’s victims would be if they saw that. Lord.
Ginger claims to care about victims, but she’s made it abundantly clear that she only cares about those that behave the way she think a victim should.
4. Ableism
I’m going to just show a couple posts here and let them mostly speak for themselves.
Tumblr media
Just... my God. You looked at the definition of psychopath and decided that was enough to give you qualification to speak like this about it? Do you realize the extensive work and study of human psychology goes into the diagnosis and understandings of psychopathy? Not to mention, you just admit to thinking people deserve hate because of a mental disorder they legitimately have no control over? I’m sorry, but that is just cruel. Demonization of the mentally ill is not cute or funny. Next.
Tumblr media
While I’m still annoyed with Emmy’s transphobic treatment of another user mentioned earlier, they make a very solid point in this instance. (The first post they referenced has since been deleted, but here’s the second one speaking out against the ableism.) I feel I don’t need to add much to this, as these points have already been argued very well by users better qualified to speak on the subject than I.
5. Manipulation tactics
This part is more observations of two kinds of abuse tactics Ginger appears to demonstrate, using the above as points of reference.
First, there’s DARVO.
Tumblr media
Then, less formally, there’s this good point about online cult mentality.
Tumblr media
Before you say anything, obviously I don’t think Ginger thinks of herself as some sort of deity. While it could be argued that she considers herself a point of authority within the TOA fandom maybe, I haven’t seen enough of this to say for sure how far that goes. So that point can be ignored, because it mostly doesn’t apply in this case. (The “Dictating parts of your online life” might also not apply, but I can’t say for sure as I haven’t gotten any confirmation of that sort of thing in Ginger’s group.)
But there are grains of truth in the other four points, especially that last one. Plain and simple, she’s made people afraid to speak their minds about even harmless things such as character analysis.
Ginger is someone who can’t seem to comprehend different viewpoints and life experiences. She’s extremely unsympathetic towards people she doesn’t understand, as can be observed in above examples. Assuming malicious intent from everybody you can’t understand is a dangerous and hurtful mindset to have, for both you and those who you unnecessarily scorn.
There are a few outcomes I’ve speculated should she ever come to see this post.
1. She will ignore this post completely, pretending as if it doesn’t exist
2. She will dismiss me as being some sort of horrible person, a p*do apologist or something of the sort (despite being a victim of that myself, clearly she doesn’t care about who’s actually been hurt by real p*dos or not if they don’t conform to her narrow worldview), and claim nothing I’ve said bears any meaning, despite the extensive evidence I’ve provided.
3. She will get people to try and attack me.
4. She will actually address these points in a tactful, mature, and serious manner instead of her usual act of trying to dismiss everything at the slightest hint of non-conformity. (The least likely outcome, but one can dream.)
I could add to this post all day, but it’s long enough as it is and my focus was on getting the main points out of the way. I understand that I lack some of the receipts necessary to back myself up in a few parts, but I know that many other fans have bared witness to those things, so I know there will be at least some people who’ll know what I speak of is true, and that’s good enough for me.
That being said, if anybody has screenshots of the instances I wasn’t able to provide for, it would be greatly appreciated if you could add them into the conversation.
!!!-If you have screenshots, but are too uncomfortable to get involved in this, then you can private-message them to me and I would be grateful and more than happy to add them in while keeping you completely anonymous.-!!!
(I've removed the section with all the tags, as I recognize it was probably going overboard. My goal was just to spread information, not to try and involve those tagged, but I understand how that may have gotten lost in translation and made people uncomfortable. Also, it apparently was showing up multiple times in people’s notifications when I only tagged people twice, so I’m not sure why that glitch happened, but I apologize for that annoyance as well.)
Now, to end us off, my responses to questions or angry comments I’m probably going to get:
You don’t even have all the evidence! How are we to know you’re not just lying about some of this?
Admittedly, I don’t have as much screenshot proof as I would like, that’s true. But for most of the instances I couldn’t provide for, there were other witnesses to her bad behavior. I don’t really have the need to lie when there’s already a lot of knowledge out there of the bad stuff she has done. Nor do I really have the emotional investment in this fandom anymore to lie for the pointless reason of causing drama.
Why post this on a throwaway account if you think people are on your side?
I just don’t really want my main blog associated with TOA anymore, to be frank.
You tagged a bunch of people, so you must be trying to get them to attack Ginger!
No. I tagged a bunch of people because I think this information should be heard on a wider scale, considering the position Ginger has in the fandom. I don’t want her or anybody else to be attacked, but her negative impact on this fandom deserves to be acknowledged.
Again, I don’t think Ginger or any of the others deserve harassment or cyberbullying or anything of that manner, that’s kind of what this whole post is against. And it just hurts the situation more than it helps it. What bothers me is how she’s never apologized for or even once acknowledged the gross way she’s treated people. While she might be more low-key about it now, she still treats people who don’t deserve it like garbage. There are still several people upset about the damage she’s caused to this fandom, rightfully so. I wouldn’t be so loud about making this post if I didn’t think it was something worth drawing attention to.
Thank you for reading.

Mr. Queen Analysis
My take on the rather heartbreaking and vague ending of the KDrama, Mr. Queen.
Tumblr media
Okay, I’ve been thinking long and hard on this subject (way too much) and have come to the following consensus:
Bong-Hwan and So Yong are both versions of the same soul. What got me thinking about this was that scene in episode 5 where SoBong talks about original and past lives but then mentions parallel time-streams. To illustrate, she draws two lines running side by side and explains how a past life can be in one and the original/current being in the other. This had me stumped a bit, and I thought it a bit random that they put that in there, but then I looked up “reincarnation and parallel lives” and there’s a surprising number of articles on it - though obviously not conclusive or scientific as it involves spirituality.
Episode 5 also explains why time in the present is flowing at the same rate as the past, which we discovered when BH’s consciousness briefly reentered his body and explain why they chose to reveal that fact. Time isn’t linear here but more fluid with both versions existing simultaneously - harkening back to the two lines Mr. Queen drew to illustrate.
The reincarnation theory would explain many of the elements of the story that I found hard to accept. For example:
If So Yong’s separate soul was in there with Bong Hwan’s soul then why did he never feel her? In fact, the show repeatedly makes reference to the idea that Bong Hwan does not feel another soul and attributes characteristics of SY to the body (telling her after the kiss that the soul is in control of the body so she ought to behave and in another scene he tries to get her soul to return by addressing the lake - where he believes she is hiding).  The only time he accuses her of being a separate entity inside of him is when he wants an excuse for his feelings and reactions to CJ. The “it must have been her that took control. If I knew it was CJ I would have....still enjoyed it?!? What’s wrong with me?” moments. LOL What if the reason he couldn’t feel another presence was because there wasn’t another? He merely had his consciousness wake up in the body of his past life but didn’t realize it.
It would explain the gradual integration of both personalities. For example, when CJ returns the book to Mr. Queen, she never thinks of herself as NOT being the girl from the well as she did when he first confesses his love for her at the lake. As BH spends more time in her previous body, the lines become more blurred not just in memory but also in identity because he IS her. If they were two separate souls, I don’t think she would have that same reaction nor do I see anything to indicate that So Yong “took over” in that moment or any other. Memories were accessed, personality traits were mingling, but we saw SY come out in episode 20...that personality was immediately recognizable. Fantastic acting by SHS - especially as she had me loving the one and hating the other, despite being both.
It would explain why Mr. Queen falls for CJ so hard, despite his initial protests. I never liked the idea of his feelings being manipulated, but I can get on board with the idea that he accepts his feelings for CJ because this is a man that some part of him has always loved - and falls in love with “again” through their shared experiences and journey.
It would also explain the question of why Bong Hwan. What was the connection between this man and So Yong? They are reincarnations of each other. When So Yong was feeling hopeless and needed strength, she pulled upon her stronger version of herself to help her - made possible in that moment when she desperately wanted to give up on life and he desperately wanted to live. She came to him in that pool and appeared to the queen again when she was looking for answers in the lake. This does not give the impression of a soul cruelly imprisoned in her own body against her will.
It would also explain why, when Bong Hwan briefly went back to his body, So Yong did not reappear. She wasn’t being suppressed. She purposefully had her reincarnated self come to give her strength and was not ready at that time to assume her life again. I found her choice of words at Byeong-In’s grave to to be telling. She said he always knew where to find her whenever she was hiding. It’s also why I believe BI didn’t realize Mr. Queen wasn’t SY - for the same reason CJ doesn’t at the end of the drama. These two men, both of whom deeply love her, could sense it was her, just in reverse order. CJ-SB-SY and BI-SY-SB.
It would also solve the pesky issue of why BH is an overall better person - not just at the moment of his return but before. Someone on Reddit mentioned the implausibility of CJ’s political accomplishments causing a ripple effect to change BH, and I agree. However, if we look at BH as SY’s reincarnation, then the positive attributes he now displays in the altered timeline can be accounted for because he prevented his previous incarnation from killing herself, therefore in his next lifetime his soul didn’t carry those grudges. This fits with the idea of reincarnation as a person’s life experiences and emotions/grudges/regrets/mindset at death will determine the psychological and even physical manifestation of their next life.
SY was told by evil Kim that she had no power b/c she was a woman - next life is a man.
SY had her love cruelly rejected - next life is a playboy who doesn’t seem to believe in love.
SY felt that she was living a lie - next life is a man who doesn’t care who he offends with his opinion and does what he wants when he wants - to the point of selfishness - though this changes when he prevents many of these resentments by his actions in the past.
Finally, it would explain why CJ is so “oblivious” at end of the show. He promised when he returned the book to SB that he would never fail to recognize her, and he doesn’t. While her personality has changed, it’s intrinsically also the same person, though this is the area I felt the writers dropped the ball in execution, but I get that they were pressed for time. The implications of this aspect also seem to be what KJH meant in his comment to a fan’s question of whether the king knew that BH had left. That it didn’t matter: SY or BH didn’t matter, only how CJ saw her.
So why send BH back? I believe they did it because it wouldn't make sense for him to live a life he essentially already lived as SY. Reincarnation is meant to be for a soul to grow and spiritually evolve, which it could not do by simply repeating what it had already done. Also, for some reason (I suspect so as not to offend Koreans by skipping over one of the most prominent historical figures in their culture - Queen Min), they still have CJ dying at age 32. This can be seen in the book BH is looking at when he's seeing his portrait, and is mentioned as early as episode 1. This was never going to be a happy ending for CJ/BH in the sense that many viewers wanted. Rather, he was going to facilitate the relationship of SY/CJ so that his previous life could run its course...ugh, I feel sick typing that out...with the hope that they meet again in another lifetime. Our SB is many things but trapped in Joseon without modern medicine, a miracle worker she is not. CJ dies without any heirs; his baby with the queen dies at just six months. If the BH decided to stay for love and then lost the baby and CJ, that would be just as heartbreaking for me as the ending I received.
Wiki and other sources speculate the CJ was poisoned by the Andong Kims, but many historians (including Bong Hwan’s mother, it seems) dispute that fact as it would serve no purpose since he was a puppet king and since his death then allowed the Jo family to briefly take control until King Gojong’s father pretty much crushed both the Kims and the Jos. In reality, he probably died of unhealthy habits and a life of excess. In the show’s world, who knows...cancer or any number of possible illnesses that could not be treated at that time. During the banquet planning, we see CJ suffer a nosebleed. In the spinoff, Mr. Queen mentions how CJ is trying hard not to collapse from the strain of his burdens. These could be hints left by writers to indicate that CJ’s health has been compromised by the grueling struggles and stress he’s had to endure, not to mention allowing himself to get blown up.
Tumblr media
They writers did give us the hope for another reunion - perhaps in BH’s lifetime or perhaps another one. It’s why I think they tried to imply a SY/CJ connection in the Bamboo Forest prequel (the only prequel in the spinoff) as well as end Bamboo Forest with a reincarnation wish. The setup seemed quite intentional and in specific order. The prequel created a sense of destiny. The next segment was about Mr. Queen confirming if it was just his body or his soul that was attracted to CJ...literally the words out of the character’s mouth...and they gave an answer to that with the last shot. The final segment introduced the wish for CJ to meet his queen again, and he is clearly thinking of Mr. Queen - so why the prequel, which would seem to introduce a separate love interest, unless it’s actually not because they’re one and the same with the middle segment emphasizing the genuine attraction and love for each other.
This might not be everyone’s cup of tea; it certainly wasn’t mine, and I think the writers should have handled the leaving better instead of going for an quasi mind-wipe of all the characters’ remembrances of Mr. Queen. I mean, CJ went from being horrified at Mr. Queen acting like a perfect little queen for a few seconds a mere handful of episodes ago to just asking "why the formality" at a more permanent display of temperament and seemed practically oblivious otherwise. Then Choi and Yeon were "shocked" when So Yong didn't revert to her witch of the palace act and chastise the maids that were laughing by the pond - as if Mr. Queen didn't already change that way of thinking months ago. Not to mention that they were also nonplussed by the fact that their relationship to the queen had gone from being regarded as family back to a servant/master status quo. Even with the soulmate angle, there was to much deus ex machina thrown in. The idea of soul mates is a romantic one, but the execution of it fell through.
They should have never gone with the reincarnation route, especially if they were never intending to let SY have a true voice in the drama, even if it’s just a final conversation between herself and BH before he leaves, made possible in that split second before true separation. Viewers never got to bond with her, and in those moments we did see her, she was either a watered down version of the personality we were emotionally invested in or emphasized the opposite characteristics (demure, feminine, etc...) that we loved Mr. Queen for rejecting. Also, this angle gives us no true feeling of completeness and satisfaction. SY is with CJ in the past - we won't see them develop their feelings for each other and grow to like them as a couple. BH is in the present but who knows if he'll find CJ's reborn soul and happiness with whoever it is. Promises without fulfillment demand too much from the audience to fill in the blanks. If that's the case, next time just give us a tag line and tell the audience to imagine the rest.
Even if they share the same soul, we are given two distinct personalities and not enough connection between them in terms of their recognizing each other, acknowledging their feelings for CJ to each other in some sort of passing the flame moment that would make it feel more homogeneous and prevent feelings of resentment at what we perceive as an injustice to a personality we adore.
Instead of creating an emotional divide between the two, they should have just have SY die before BH's soul enters, and develop the romance between CJ and HB's as the novel and even that cheap and campy Chinese version did. Having SY there just muddied the waters, and became a distraction and an excuse for every emotional milestone Mr. Queen experienced, negating that character's development and laying it at SY's feet or claims of deliberate interference.
They should have chosen a fictional king and not boxed themselves into a limited outcome. Granted, it gave them a valid reason for booting BH back to present times, but look at the result: limited number of years with someone the audience isn't really familiar with for our beloved ML (plus their baby dies) and a huge question mark for our F-turned back into ML in the present with the hope that maybe the reincarnation thing works in his favor but who knows because they couldn't even toss us that small crumb which would have alleviated some of our heartache for BH as well as give more credence to the fact that SY/BH are the same and thereby lessened the feelings of resentment to the SY character as well. Or they could have gone with a multiverse theory and left it wide open as to what sweeping changes would occur. BH being initially thrown back to the Joseon era as a result of his dying would have achieved that because then the audience would have no reason to revisit the present nor see that the worlds were linked via changes upon his return and stuck with the poisoning threat averted. Blow recorded history to smithereens and leave that to our imagination instead.
Yes, the fish-out-of-water hijinks were great fun, but the completion of the character arcs/relationship/etc...shouldn’t be an afterthought.
The other element I would have liked to have seen that was in neither of the televised versions (though the Chinese one came very, very close) but was in the web novel is the king fully accepting that his wife is not the woman she was, believing that her previous body was a man, falling in love regardless and she with him. However, I think we all knew that wasn’t going to happen in a kdrama.

Hey I heard about the Hagia Sophia thing and as someone who's never been to Turkey I don't know much about the significance of the building other than it was originally built as a church but made into a mosque after the Ottomans conquered Constantinople? How do the Turkish people feel about it being turned into a mosque? Cause honestly as a Muslim myself I was quite shocked when i heard about it. I think it's best left as a musuem. It may cause unhappiness among the non-muslims I feel?
Hi :) thank you so much for this question, I really hope I can do it justice!
In brief - the building has quite the history (the magic of Istanbul and her people) but really this debate has very little do with that history. The conversations we’re seeing that are focusing on when it was a church, when it was a mosque, how the deed was signed, blah blah blah - they are simplistic and they are distracting.
The Republic of Turkey was and is dependent on an incredibly violent national identity. This is as true for the secular old guard Kemalists as it is for the religious Turks. They have a common “enemy” in the non-Turk because political figures for several centuries have carefully constructed an “us-versus-them” narrative that constantly proclaims that the Turkish state and the Turkish identity are at risk and those pesky minorities are to blame. If you are familiar with American politics there are some interesting parallels with that sort of discourse! The construction of the Republic of Turkey and the national identity of Turkey would not have been possible without violence, genocide, and Turkification. Understanding the Turkish state and the symbolism of this gesture means understanding the violence and discrimination of Armenian, Assyrian, Kurdish, Jewish, Laz, Greek, and even Arab people which occurred for centuries and is occurring to this very day. This sort of information is noticeably absent from Turkish sources (as well as any works by historians and authors that have been paid by the Turkish state - and how gross is it that a country has to literally fund propaganda textbooks?! If you’d like a list of these authors I can provide one.)
“With the foundation of the Republic, the “state” itself has written a history, or perhaps, to put it more accurately, has invented a history, and drawn red lines around it.”
That’s a quote from the book “1915: Armenian Genocide” written by Hasan Cemal who is the grandson of Cemal Paşa, one of the men who planned and executed the Armenian genocide. This book is not a study of the past, rather it is the personal journey of Hasan Cemal as he sought to learn about and understand the plight of Armenians in modern-day Turkey. I highly recommend it!
Understanding the symbolism of this move requires an understanding of the history and the present-day plight of minorities in Turkey (some recommended reads: Trauma and Resilience: Armenians in Turkey - Hidden, not hidden, and no longer hidden by Raffi Bedrosyan, In the Ruins: The 1909 Massacres of Armenians in Adana, Turkey by Zabel Yesayan, Two Close Peoples Two Distant Neighbours by Hrant Dink or any articles by Hrant Dink, anything by Taner Akçam, My Grandmother: A Memoir by Fethiye Çetin, and fiction books about the Armenian genocide like The Sandcastle Girls by Chris Bohjalian and Orhan’s Inheritance by Aline Ohanesian!) I know that these are all books, and some of them quite long, but I wanted to mention them. There are lots of great articles out on the web, too!
Many are now arguing that this ruling won’t change much - visitors will still be allowed in the Hagia Sophia and thus it will still be public. This argument is so simplistic and demonstrates no understanding of the history of Turkification and erasure of minorities in Turkey. I myself have stumbled upon Greek churches in Turkey (mostly in and around the provinces of İzmir and Balıkesir) that were either in complete disarray or had been converted into completely random things (one was a museum for children’s toys). Arguments that this happens to Muslim communities in other parts of the world does NOT negate the fact that the treatment of Christians and other minorities in Turkey is wrong and amounts to a humanitarian crisis. On a wider scale, Turkey has a long history of destroying or repurposing the structures of ethnic and religious minorities and erasing their contributions to history, culture, art, cuisine, literature, etc. This is a continuation of the massacres and genocides of people that are indigenous to these lands. Many parallels could be made here... the erasure of Palestinian heritage and culture perpetuates their suffering, the forced assimilation and cultural erasure of Indigenous peoples in North America perpetuates their suffering. The Turkish Republic relies on the continued erasure of its minorities (example: for decades it denied the existence of Kurdish people, referring to them as “mountain Turks” with funny accents... meanwhile it was illegal to speak Kurdish or engage in Kurdish cultural practices and many Kurds faced incredibly violent persecution simply for existing). The erasure of minorities is not unique to Turkey, but it is the heart of the issue when we talk about the Hagia Sophia’s conversion to a mosque.
Some things I would recommend reading up on if you’d like to learn more about the topic of cultural erasure and perpetuation of Turkish hegemony in Turkey:
-the Armenian city of Ani
-the burning of Smyrna
-Turkey’s incursion into Northern Syria (which has disproportionately impacted Kurds and Christians)
-the Turkish government’s moves to impede cross-cultural dialogue between Armenians and Turks, even kicking a delegation of Armenians out of the country illegally (happened in Kars in the early 2000s, mentioned in the Hasan Cemal book)
This is a pretty decent article that touches on the topic: https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/07/01/hagia-sophia-erdogan-erase-turkeys-christian-past/
The Hagia Sophia is a wonder of the world. Museum status brought everyone together to admire the structure just as she is. It is a source of contention in its present-day use as a place of worship, but it is a shared treasure when it is a museum that belongs to humanity. Cheesy lol I know, but both Turkey and the world need more places that can bring people together like the Hagia Sophia has as a museum!
I feel like I’m all over the place lol here but I should also mention that not only does Turkey engage in the erasure of ethnic and religious minorities, it openly celebrates the violence perpetrated against these people. There are streets, schools, and parks named after the engineers of the Armenian genocide. Can you imagine a school in Germany named “Adolf Hitler Elementary School”? Reconciliation will not become a reality until the suffering of ethnic and religious minorities in Turkey is recognized and their pain is acknowledged.
In his analysis titled “Nowruz, Kemalism and Religion” (Taraf, March 21, 2012), Ahmet Altan pointed out that even though in theory it is not possible for the religion of Islam to converge with nationalism, there was a shared nationalist and statist mentality between Kemalists and religious Muslims in Turkey: “The greatest and most horrific victory of Kemalism was to be able to inject the poison of nationalism to the veins of religious people.
This is from Şahin Alpay’s article “Where are the roots of Islamist Kemalism?” which explores the construction of Turkish national identity and how it exists despite the cognitive dissonance of religious Turks.
Here is an article which talks about the Islamic Society of North America’s condemnation of the move to convert the Hagia Sophia into a mosque: https://greekcitytimes.com/2020/07/14/islamic-society-of-north-america-condemns-turkeys-conversion-of-hagia-sophia/
Also, the debate over the conversion of the Hagia Sophia into a mosque has been going on for years! Funny enough, it tends to resurface when there are pressing sociopolitical issues that Turkish politicians don’t want to talk about (a failing economy...... the government’s poor response to COVID-19..... take your pick lol) or an election is coming up. It’s truly a disservice to Turkish people to reignite the fires of this debate now. Turkish people of all religious and political affiliations are losing their jobs and struggling to put food on the table - the storm that Hagia Sophia has created is very conveniently masking that.
Some articles about the current economic crisis:
https://ahvalnews.com/turkey-debt/turkish-economy-headed-towards-further-crisis-under-unorthodox-management
https://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2020/07/turkey-foreign-investors-flee-ankaras-isolation-grows.html
I want to end this on a better note - I love Turkey and I believe in Turkey. I know that reconciliation is possible and that dialogue can lead to a better Turkey for everyone.

Okay, then how about a show I know you have watched: SU!
haven’t heard of it | absolutely never watching| might watch | currently watching| dropped| hated it | meh| a positive okay| liked it| liked it a lot!| loved it| a favorite
don’t watch period| drop if not interested within 2-3 episodes| give it a go, could be your thing| 5 star recommendation
fav characters: Ugh, I love them all, it feels like picking between children. My go to for favourite is Peridot, but I also love characters like Connie, Pearl, Steven, Lapis, etc.least fav characters: I honestly don’t dislike any characters on this show, and if I do they’re so insignificant I’ve already thought about them. I probably would’ve forced myself to pick someone like Marty or Kevin, but now after Kevin Party I even like Kevin dammit. :Vfav relationship: Oh wow, another tough one. I love how Steven manages to have an interesting relationship with pretty much everyone he interacts with, and all the relationships that don’t involve Steven are great too. If I had to pick I’d probably go Steven and Connie though, they just have such great chemistry and are able to be really close even with implied romantic feelings. Not to mention they get me the most emotional. XDfav moment: Ugh, this is so hard. My gut reaction is the ending to I am my Mom because of how tragic it is on so many levels, but seriously this show is filled with great moments and it’s really hard to pick just one.headcanons/theories: - Lapis is shady as fuck and she’s hiding something, people seem to really underestimate how dark and powerful she can be. I mean, even if we’ve just gotten to see a bit of her view on the Diamonds, we still don’t even know why she has yet to comment anything on Rose Quartz or mistake Steven for her. This is part of why the Blue Diamond fusion theory appeals to me, since even though it sounds outlandish on paper the analysis provided by @radioactivesupersonic and @mollinosis really suggests if the Crewniverse did something like this it would be a pretty compelling and emotional story. I mean, secret former co-matriarch or not, there’s a lot about Lapis we don’t know yet.- Rose was most certainly involved in the shattering of Pink Diamond, people appear to have taken “Rose isn’t responsible” at face value and just assumed it could’ve been anyone in charge. For what the show is going for Rose really still makes the most sense to have done the deed, even if she simply say masterminded it and Pearl did the dirty work (I’m positive Pearl was involved somehow, given how she refuses to speak when the subject comes up and her distress around it).- On the subject of Rose, I like the idea that she was Pink Diamond before faking her death, fight me. :V I’m not banking too hard on the theory, but I feel like it’s just got so much potential to shake things up narratively. Like, Rose would then have been avoiding confrontation and ruining things with everyone from the very beginning, even as a ruler, it just adds a whole new layer of messed up of what Rose has been doing.- Steven is going to have to come to terms with his reviving from death powers at some point and figure out how to be responsible with them.unpopular opinion: - Whenever people say “I hate X character or episode,” I never agree, and it especially bugs me when people use subjective reasoning and claim to be objective with it. Even if I have knee jerk reactions to things, I still try to think things through.- I like the slice of life episodes, and think they’re important thematically.- Lapidot is an overrated ship and I was not surprised at all when I saw what went down in Raising the Barn.- The quirk of having storyboarders’ styles influencing how the characters look is fine and not an issue, and it’s especially grating when people use this as “objective proof” the show sucks. At most, I only find it a bit distracting when two obviously different styles are shown within a close time frame (eg Raven and Lauren), but even there it’s really just a nitpick and nothing like the show breaking thing it claims to be.- Lapis is way darker and more interesting than people give her credit for, they always reduce her to either “waiter waifu” or “lol inconsistent, bad writing,” but she’s so much more interesting than that.- Steven’s perspective isn’t always right, people sometimes take what we see for granted and get angry at things that can really be solved by looking beyond the fact that we only see the world through his eyes.- The one sidedness people have in discussions about which character was in the wrong in X episode drive me nuts, because it’s always tried to be framed as a black and white issue when it pretty much never is.- Aquamarine is really fun and one of my favourite antagonists on the show, not just because of her general personality but also how she doesn’t even seem to want to be there and yet is arguably one of the most successful in doing what she’s done.- Onion isn’t evil and he is my sonion, give him a break guys.- #GivePeridotBackHerLimbEnhancers2k17. No, seriously, Peridot’s limb enhancers did nothing wrong and she’s allowed to have them back, they make things way more convenient for her and she doesn’t need to be eternally stuck without them just because “lol technology evil.”how’d you find it: People raving about it on tumblr, first when Jailbreak came out but then more discussion piqued my interest.random thoughts: Cartoon Network needs to sort out their airing schedule.

tHE MOVIE REEL THEORY OF the...well, everything tbh
what’s goin on is, now just imagine reality is being printed onto movie reels, or onto a tape, like old fashioned cassette tapes or VHS tapes, whatever. Basically as time goes on, a new “frame” of existence is basically created and flashed through the senses to be manifested through the observers senses, oh and included on this frame is data for other senses like sound too...but also temperature, mood, hunger, curiosity, calculation, perception, memories, everything that goes into making a single moment of existence. Keep up.
Ok, so each frame is created in a recipe like this:
about 80% of the frame is exactly like the frame before it. pixel for pixel. Oh and before we go much further, yeah these are the same infinitely denser and more clearly resolved pixels imaginable to create this “reality frame” are making up this picture I’m putting in your head.
The other 20% is split between two different types of changes. changes from one reality frame to the next, a single pixel’s change spread randomly across 20% of the surface of a screen with the resolution of, oh infinity. Yeah, keep up.
So, were we able to chop time into these measurable “frames” and examine them we would see these infinitely small changes at certain points.
Is the string and it’s infinitely more complex set of instructions to make sure the imaginary string in my vision matches the one in YOUR head’s made up universe working for you?
now imagine this infinity loop of string was segmented into...sorta areas of interest. how DNA is kinda grouped to what areas effect what genes.
So this string is segmented into groups, you guessed it, an infinite number of groups, each representing an area effecting reality within the string’s universe.
Oh yeah, and WE are the string.
I know, I’m going out of order a little, try and keep up. If it gets to be too much, try taking a short break, stepping away, and coming back. Unfortunately the best way for me to get this out even this well is to just continue through it.
WE are the string. and yes, we are also still trying to imagine the string, but let’s lay that to the side for just one second and begin workin on step 2 in my recipe for reality: and picture this reality creating randomly vibrating string. Similar to the first, except this one is a biiiiit more simple. imagine a simple infinity symbol, you know the one from math when it started to get wild. Imagine that shape, and it’s kinda wiggling with random vibrations of varying intensity and timing.
And then break your little mind by imagining that you could somehow zoom into this line with your mind’s eye and the “background” of this existence somehow simply became more and more densly populated with omitters of a color difference, allowing you to keep moving towards the surface of this imaginary string forever and never have it appear as nearer to you or in more or less detail...ok.
And now, imagine this string is what is making up YOUR reality. And it does that by these infinitely smaller pixels filling in a space on this shape, whatever it is or that it’s made out of. And this allows this...object? or whatever it is. to expand, and BE anything it needs to be.
If only thinking hard burned calories, I’d be ripped.
Your thinking IS calories.
So this string, is attached...to itself, yayaya I know I got you with that one before, just bare with me and try this again. It’s attached to itself through time. Ok, you got me, it’s the same string, it’s infinitely big and wide and goes on, so it’s just gonna serve as the basis for a lotta my discussions, seeing as it can do literally anything I want it or need it to.
sooooo anywaaaaaaaay...
A “picture” of this string is basically, what is changing on these “reality frames” sorry for all the air quotes, but I’m gonna get all funky with weird names and then eventually start to cleverly work in alternate names for the same types of things...you’re gonna love it.
So these reality “frames” are being made and this ever changing, but also ever changing, unimaginable string, is the subject being printed onto these frames. these pixels are being randomly selected to change by something I call the “infinite entropy equation”, a (hopefully) simple equation used to basically...pick a random pixel to change. Sounds simple enough right? Well, if given an infinite possibility of change, there’s no change that can be made. So within this equation needs to be a place for choice, or free will, to come into place. Choice combined with time, the only true way of tilting balances one way or another and making the non-choice of infinity give way to a perceivable forward motion through time and thus existence continues.
“huh?” You ask. Ok, one second.
So basically, all of reality is an etch-a-sketch, made of an infinitely denser collection of ink filled squares and it’s filled in to create the shape of anything...ANYTHING imaginable due to its inability to be broken and that includes whilst traveling through time to connect to itself, meaning it is vibrating at least as fast as the speed of light but...also NOT traveling at the speed of light?
Well yeah, the string is kinda existing in all time and space at the same time, so....the way it does that is/ uh...well it kinda “pops” in and out of existence...in every possible location, in any possible moment. But remember, we’re dealing with OUR own personal universe, within our imaginations, which can’t possibly conceive all that nonsense, so we’re safe here...let’s come back...ok, we’re good. We can continue.
WE as humans, something a little special (I’ll get to that later), can perceive “moments” of this omniscient omnipresentness by creating these “reality frames” in our minds, or whever all of this simultaneous input is processed, which print out and infinitely denser slide show of randomly generated changes (but only across 20%) of an imaginary etch-a-sketch forming itself into the very existence we all know. Right, another rule I know shocker, these frames can be infinitely “stretched out” to show, in even greater detail, the change in pixels occuring upon a selection of frames. Because the frames don’t represent time, they are simply the window, the Polaroid print outs based on our individual sensory processing setup after a picture is taken of existence and sent to our brains for analysis.
And the changes made can be represented by that equation...what did I call it? The Entropy Equation? Somethin like that. So this equation is basically a simple random number generator, except boosted with sweet imagination juice and thus capable of truly calculating infinite amounts of random numbers...just imagine. Crazy huh? But, not so bad to fit into your head, if you’ve made it this far, you might be good.
But once again, were that machine actually able to calculate an infinite possibility of numbers, it would simply not move through time to fulfill that claim. The screen would freeze up as is calculated...forever, cuz that’s what infinite means, for fuck’s sake. C’mon. So in order for our “selves” to actually move through time and experience “reality” or “existence” we have to kinda...poke something into this infinity fueled calculator, in order to unbalance the ever-spinning top just enough to ensure it tips and falls onto a result, thus moving the machine forward and creating a new “frame” and filling another pixel in the string vibrating away over there forever. But also causing one other pixel to disappear along the string.
Cuz that’s how things work? I dunno, I’ll probably circle back to that idea, let’s be real here I’m not exactly working in a straight line here lol.
Just imagine.
So anyway. This basically describing the way reality is filtered, through the goggles of...some greater selves, and manifested within some kind of “reality engine” (imagine a digital representation of the reality being created being filtered through this filter) the hologram we all live in? Holograms created by...us? A greater conscious we are all serving as micro individual computers processing pieces of the entropy equation in order to have true randomness in the creation of these frames? Like our whole lives are an episode of Black Mirror, and at the end we flip a switch of yes or no based of an entire lifetimes existence of experiences and memories and all there is to show for it is one random pixel lighting up, and one powering down. But the act of which is a beautiful thing, and part of something truly infinite. And if we’re pretending infinity is a thing, it sounds awful, it sounds like what I said earlier, an infinite amount of choices will lead to no choice being made, or something like that. And just...existing in an infinite state of non-change, sounds fucking awful. So it seems to be choice which separates us from infinity, being one with everything.
Let me explain the entropy equation a little again, now this equation is responsible for causing changes in areas of this string responsible for forming reality to fit our whims and fancies within our own minds. This happens by a nudge from free will in order to create ever so slight changes from one “frame” of reality to the next as they are created on the monitor of our mind’s eye with the sensory input from the aggregates all converging together.
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, we’re workin some Buddha into this mess now. Hold on to your seats, but not yet.
These different “areas” are everything. every.thing. ev. er. y. th. ing. and the string is infinitely long, so just keep goin, keep goin, nope...nope not yet, no don’t even worry about it. But it’s long enough to form into whatever it’s got to, and remember it can change states of being as in from mass to energy and back as needed, without actually breaking somehow, because it can’t be broken, but maintaining both states of being simultaneously in the sample place and time...ok, you’re getting all this fine? Sweet.
This area is plants
This area is sand
This area is water
This area is sound range vibrational waves
This area is bloodborne fan theories and sequel predictions
Seriously, just everything, because the string can handle it, this thing warps and forms through space and time and states of being and in out of every state of energy, mass and light (or lack there of) all simultaneously and spread out through all time, this string is fucking amazing, I’m telling you.
And YOU can make that fucking string do whatever and be whatever you want it to be.

This is my INTP analysis
So, recently i found out my MBTI personality type and it’s INTP.
at first, i spit on it because of the stereotypical INTP as “logician analyst” boooooo how boring. And i don’t feel like i’m dat genius lol. but as i read through the the traits, strength, weakness, and functions i got really mentally deprived lol. next time i do, is that i spend 3 fucking days browsing and studying and make a research out of it lol.
i would like to scientifically explaining the theory and all... but i don’t want to. Instead, i want to explaining it from my point of view . because it’s easier this way and less boring.
so here’s:
INTP is an abbreviation used  in the publications of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) as one of 16 personality types. Each alphabet stands for
I : Introversion. means a reserved personality.
N: Intuition. means abstract thinking and an ability to make future possibilities.
T: Thinking. means when making decision they value logic and reasoning.
P: Perceptions. means they value other perceptions aka open minded.
but that’s only on a surface.
as functions INTP has:
Dominant: (Ti) Introverted Thinking
the ability to logically analyst a subject that comes from inside the mind to mind itself. aka self-philosophize aka self-debating aka what i’m doing right now. this usually lead up with common “absent mind” which is when the INTPs are so caught up with whatever is on their mind, they forget about their physical world and their mind is at- God knows where their mind is...
in extreme case of absent mind, INTP can overly-analyzing that thing without sleeping, eating, drinking in hours, without feeling tiring, in fact it’s actually refreshing at some point (that’s exactly what happened to me for the past few hours while analyzing this). in moderate case of absent mind, they usually staring into distance. when this happen, idk if it’s only me but people tend to thought that i looked lost/dozed when i absent minded. they said to me in bahasa indonesia “jangan bengong”. it’s true at some point, i think i couldn’t even bother to realize whether i was thinking or not.
random theories out of nowhere are natural for INTP. but if you think INTPs are analyzing something amazingly genius you’re dead wrong. they’re often take even the stupidest and less functional idea. nah, it’s not just about tv series and stuff. most of the INTPs are not even realize when they’re absent minded. and if you ask them what they’re thinking, there’s 80% changes they would say forget about it.
(Ne) Extroverted Intuition
the ability to “abstract thinking” and make future possibility of the subject outside the mind (environment). this is why INTPs won’t just fed up with what’s already been there. instead they analyzed the shit out of it and make the logical reasoning of “what if” and “why would”. thus leads them to despise the norm and social order. also because of their abstract thinking, INTPs are also very open minded and sometimes can be very enthusiastic.
their emotions are connected with a thirst of knowledge. that’s why some INTP can be childish and weird when they’re gushing about something they interested. “triggered” could be a great word for this. when my enthusiasm triggered, it’s like there’s a cotton candy explosion in my brain and the next thing in my mind... is pure emotions and enthusiasm. INTP can go from boring faced dude to kid on sugar rush when something triggered them... and then they back to boring faced dude again.
but sometimes INTP can be fooled with white lies because of their open mindness and overly enthusiastic. i’ll have you know, they hate it. because INTP treasure knowledge more than any other personality. not because they love, nor because exciting, nor because to achieve a goal. they just simply worship knowledge. and if you fucks with knowledge you basically asking INTP to put you on the list ‘i will dissed this person off after all this over’
also INTPs are very straightforward and honest. INTP often accidentally slip on their juicy opinion into a touchy subject and make the people around him super pissed. they didn’t mean it tho, perhaps they might be trying help you. this is because of their lack of understanding in human feelings and their straightforward personality that makes the INTP sometimes looks like a “machine without a heart”. which isn’t true tho, i can guarantee you.
(Si) Introverted Sensing
the ability to recall memories and emotions. they use it to gather the data and then comparing them with the present to judged/support the theory.     i don’t know if any INTPs has a same traits as me but i always have a tendency to use metaphor as a pillar of my theory.
if you don’t know metaphor, it is a technique to judged and compare problems by simply imagining problems as another objects. the objects could be anything like box, mugs, cats, even book character from your recalling memories. i used this technique to understand why INTJ self-eccentrically feeling has more understanding of human feelings rather than INTP by imagining balls, i used balls as a metaphor for that theory. further talks will be on the next post after this.
Inferior: (Fe) Extroverted Feeling
now this is rather interesting. i had spent 5 hours analyzing INTP theory, and at the dawn of the day, i still don’t understand about this Fe function. since it’s the lowest out of four INTP functions, and since i honestly do not understand about human feelings.
i know that i’m not a cold machine like *ehm* particular personality. i want to interact with people. eventhough some poeple are jerks... but i believe that somehow they’re good in their own way, because god made us different on a purpose. in my motto, “if you can’t get em and they can’t get you, then don’t. because it’s only hurt you or them in the process.” furthermore, this Fe theory is still under development. that’s why i need to put this theory on the alpha-mode experiment.
what i’m trying to say is: i’m gonna try to make a social connection on the first day of class and see what happens. see you next.
