Bit pricey but i think american duchess has some boots that go up to like 19-20 inch calf circumference?

oh yeah i've seen their bicycle boots around a lot! the fact that it was leather + textile on the upper made me hesitate though, i'm still holding out for just leather... but it's been in the back of my mind

29. Favourite and Least Favourite Episodes:

Ooooh, good question! Let's start with the negativity so we can end on a high note 😅

I... honestly would put most of Picard seasons 2 & 3 in the "least favourite" category 🙈 If I had to pinpoint some lowlights, it'd be "Fly Me to the Moon". It's not a bad episode in itself and in isolation, I might not mind it, but the two times I watched through season 2 in order, this was the episode where I found myself crying and/or shaking with rage and disappointment when it was over. Probably becuase it really drives home that they're serious about where they're going with this series I used to love and it's not somewhere I can follow.

Disregarding that... I have a terrible memory for this kind of thing 😅 And I guess it depends on what you mean by "least favourite".

I think one objective measure to use: I don't ever want to see the ENT mpreg episode again, where everyone acts like Trip Tucker having his bodily autonomy violated in a horrendous way is The Funniest Shit™. That has seared itself into my brain so much that when I was rewatching all of TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT to take notes for the holo-tech database, it's actually the only episode I wanted to skip.

There are also some real bombs in season 1 of TNG, and some of the Ferengi episodes in DS9 are firmly on my "no thank you" list. But yeah, I think the involuntary mpreg takes the cake, honestly.

Now for the much funner part: There are SO MANY episodes I truly love! DS9's "Take Me Out to the Holosuite" and "Badda-Bing Badda Bang", PIC's "Broken Pieces", VOY's "Concerning Flight" (which is apparently controversial?), "Drive", "Bride of Chaotica!", also any VOY episode that has Naomi Wildmann in it...

There are also A Ton of Deep and Dramatic episodes I love, but from my instinctive answers I'm realizing that what draws me to an episode as a "favourite" is apparently "It's fun!" (and likely involves the holodeck? 🙈🤣) So yeah, if we're talking favourite, not best, it's probably something along these lines.

39. You have to relocate to a planet other than Earth, which do you choose?

Hm, that's a tough one. I feel like not that many planets readily spring to mind, so I'll have to really think about this.

It'd probably be near the centre of the Federation for that sweet, sweet post-capitalist utopia (and also because my family is presumably still on Earth and I want to be able to visit Very Frequently.

Vulcan is a big No, because my body does not function above 25° C🙈 I love snow and ice, though, so Andoria might be a real option (though not technically a planet, I guess 😋).

Beyond that, I'm honestly drawing a blank. I think I haven't seen enough TOS/TNG in a while, so I don't remember too many worlds they visited. But yeah, probably somewhere that's close to the Sol, close to the centre of the Federation, has good temperate-to-colder climate to live in... In the end, it would probably very much depend on why I'm relocating and whom with.

40. If you got a Trek inspired tattoo, what would it be?

Another tough one 😅 I don't have any tattoos and don't think I'll ever get any. For one, I'm way too scared of that kind of long-term commitment, but also my skin has Issues™ and I don't know how long a tattoo would look decent.

If I were to get one, though? Let's be honest, it would be some version of the Sirena logo. That little ship has shaped my life in ways more profound than I can even say. Sirena and her crew got me to write again after over a decade, gave me so, so, SO much joy, not to mention all the incredible, wonderful friends I foud along the way (that's you!)

I think for me, Sirena stands for found family, friendship, healing, creativity, allowing myself to feel joy in my nerdiness and head for new adventures. So yeah.

If not that, probably some variation of IDIC, either the symbol or the saying in Vulcan script 🤔

crimsooonnnn, (〃ω〃) i wanted to ask if you have any cute stories about baby tomioka or any funny family moments with you, him, and giyuu ♡ i’d love to hear about them!!

Aaaahh these thoughts usually just creep up on me lolol but I’ll try to remember them!!

One I always think of though, that I’ve already mentioned, is baby Tomioka being a hair puller lolol. Always pulling our hair and never realizing bc he’s just trying to cling on lol. Only sometimes does he do it out of entertainment. So sometimes I’ll headcannon that that’s the reason Giyuu cuts his hair so it could encourage his baby to pull on hair less lol

He also like to chew on things, teething or not teething. He’s just a chewer lolol. Since I also mentioned already with the whole “he loves to steal Giyuu’s kirimi keychain and chew on it” kekeke. He’ll chew on his straw and then whine that he can’t drink out of it anymore bc he chewed the straw shut lolol

And he of course had the good baby smell!! He smelled so cute and sweet, Giyuu had caught me huffing his head multiple times. (And often times he joined me too lmao)

I also kind of wanna say he’s more of a papa’s boy!! 😖 not cuz it’s “father and first born son” but just because they get along so, so well. So this one time, Giyuu was holding him and he just kept crying and Giyuu didn’t know why. He tried everything and nothing worked and when I held him, he finally stopped crying. He just wanted his mama and we were both surprised bc of just how much more attached he is to Giyuu lolol. (Of course he loves me too! He was more attached to me the much younger he was since a baby usually often depends more on their mother lol)

Okay so a silly moment or scenario!

One I think about often is Giyuu walking in on me singing our baby a lullaby 😖😖💗 there are a few songs I always have in mind that I think would be great as a lullaby. And I’d just wanna sing them to my fictional baby lol. But Giyuu knows I’ll stop if I see or hear him so he’s just admiring from the doorframe until I sense his presence and get embarrassed that he heard me lmao. (Giyuu will also sing to his baby, but so softly and quietly. More of like he’s singing to himself while holding his baby but nonetheless still singing to him ♡)

Not really a silly moment but I guess a cute one! I looveee ponds and watching fish swim around and I wanna say my baby would be mesmerized by it too lol. So we’re walking through a garden as a family one day and find a pond with koi inside so me and baby Tomioka are just staring in awe, pointing at the fish and just simply entranced lol. And it gives Giyuu a chance to just stare and admire us and he just thinks about how absolutely happy and lucky he is ppfftt. Such a soft expression on his face!! Smiling happily at us as he watches his family being all cute and domestic lolol. And then he starts to think of adding a koi pond to his estate so that we could stare at it all the time kekeke

i saw your latest v2 school post and I pitch to you the following: sukeban (the subculture)v2

waaa!! that was literally one of my main inspirations for her!! (actually really happy you linked it to the sukeban subculture!!)

though i imagine her more as a loner type, she would definitely have that kind of attitude, shoplifting around, brawling with everyone that looks at her weird, all that. but with sukeban often being actually full on organizations, with hierarchies and strict rules, i don’t think she’d actually be part of any actual groups, due to aforementioned loner attitude. though if she were a more sociable type, she’d definitely be really highly ranked, maybe the actual leader of a group.

there probably is a group of young delinquent machines (and maybe husks too!!) at her school that would count as a sukeban gang, but i imagine V2 either fully ignoring them or straight on fighting them off school grounds, maybe with weapons and all…

i also imagine the school she attends forbidding her to deploy her wings at all, due to them being where she hides any possible weapon. she probably has tried to sneak in a knife or a heavy duty cutter to school once or twice by trying to hide them under her skirt though, but they were quickly confiscated. (i also like to think she flares her wings as an intimidation tactic, just like V1)

i didn’t really want to give her the stereotypical sukeban attire due to it more often than not being based on sailor-style uniforms, and giving her one too would be a bit same-y as Gabriel and V1’s uniforms, since they are actually sailor-style. But i am realizing i actually did give V1 a sukeban adjacent look, in a way. i think they’d both be the kind to ruin their uniforms in a few weeks due to how much they fight, which leads to V2 having to buy multiple spare uniforms in advance so that she doesn’t have to bother having to go to the school store more times than she deems necessary (which ends up burning a significant part of her allowance). V1 just goes with the same torn up uniform until school staff calls them out and threaten expulsion if they don’t get a new uniform.

also after looking up sukeban subculture a bit more i learnt that the long skirt they sport was important since it was used to conceal the items they shoplifted as well as any weapons they carried, so giving V2 the slit in her skirt actually defeats that purpose, unfortunately (said slit was probably why she got caught when trying to bring weapons to school). the visible midriff isn’t really doable with the type of uniform i gave her either, so she wouldn’t perfectly fill the mould in that aspect either.

so, in the end, i guess she’s more a sukeban at heart than in appearance (if we were to abide strictly to stereotypes in terms of appearance). though in appearance she still remains very thug like.

When you’re presumably immortal, or have a lack of aging, birthdays become irrelevant. How would you enjoy it if you were celebrating something completely mundane  every year? It would lose it’s value. 

Obviously they cannot know their guest’s birthday without them telling. I don’t think they would even ask, the concept of celebrating being completely forgotten by time. So no News Years party, Valentines, or St. Patricks. It would be up to the guest to let them know.

It has been quite a while since any of them celebrated anything really. Dimitrescu is the one who keeps track of the date, whilst the sons are happy to go about their lives never needing to. There is no need to fret about this day being forgotten, Albin will make a personal note of it.

Dimitrescu is in charge of pretty much everything. It’s not that he doesn’t trust his sons to plan, he just knows he can do a better job. Whatever the guest wants to do they will do. Whatever they want the day is theirs. Nothing is off the table... Well maybe not that far but you get the idea. It’s a shame knowing how forgetful people can be, so there is a lot to make up for.  

The sons try to have a hand in organisation. Try. I say this as their attempts to be involved are diminished. Belmont get’s close, actively getting involved with the process and offering advice. Daniel’s ideas are more centred on the guest, picking things he knows they would like. And everyone has to restrain Cassandros from handling the catering. He want’s to help, but please don’t eat anything he makes. 

If the reader wants a celebration they are going to get a celebration to remember. Today is going to be overflowing will love and appreciation for the guest, platonic or otherwise!

Aaaaah I was hoping I'd get this question with all the pokemon talk!!

Aesthetic-wise, Sparrow would be going for normal type pokemon; I imagine she would be like, an interim gym leader taking the mantle after the previous leader (Evaethi of course) left. I'm thinking her main roster are pokemon like Ursarang, Sawsbuck, Bewear, Oranguru--basically really large, intimidating-looking pokemon that hit like a truck.

However, her actual favorite pokemon would be a phantump she found while traveling that she took into her care. It never fights, but it's always on the sidelines with her, floating right behind her or curled in her arms. I feel like considering Phantump's origins Sparrow would be highly protective.

🪤 What is one thing that could be used to lure your OC into a trap?

Just threatening loved ones or people she feels responsible for in general. She'll probably realize it's a trap, and she'll go anyway, because trying to circumvent or avoid the trap would not be worth harming those who are threatened.

Sparrow's shape is small and spiky--hard to hold, easy to miss!

context: I'm a cis-ish(???) lesbian with dysphoria. i have a trans girl student who definitely cant transition till shes an adult and i really wish i had some more helpful tips for her, because most of my knowledge on dysphoria comes from the flip side of the coin

I remember I used to say I was bi when I was like 11, but pretty sure my only knowledge of being queer at the time was that you could be straight, bi or gay so. yk. When I started college tho (So like- 13?) I fell into the 'queer group' at my school :) I don't remember a lot of it, I think I struggled a lot trying to figure out if I was queer or just an ally, but I knew something was definitely up. I started playing around and went from she/her -> she/him -> he/they -> he/him (and now he/him/they)

🦚 - Are there any queer books/shows/etc. that you would suggest?

I don't really have anything to suggest :( The only queer book I've read would be Love, Simon and that was quuite a few years ago
