And here it is Genuary Prompt Family and Alternative Universe. People you don't know how happy I'm with how this turn. This is what I mean when I say sometimes I get bless by the drawing gods.
You already knew about this one so I hope there wasn't much expectation, cause even if I'm proud I know is not perfect and could be better. But Im really happy I swear.
Y comenzamos con las ilegalidades. This is a little out of the rules cause I don't know if Genie's really the main focus, in my defense I got distracted.
This is a heavily reference to the episode "Sliding Bobs" from season 6 (one of my favs seasons) and well I got over carried with the dynamics between all the characters XD
I hope you can still enjoy my baby boy (and yes in this alternative universe Gene is a cis boy, the horror, oh and Tina is ace)
And why does he have that face? He's experimenting every multiverse at once. He's seeing different universes with thousand of version of himself, one is a genderfluid musician, other is Bruce Willis in that movie, one is a butler and another one is him with wieners for fingers. So yeah he's having a blast.
Oh and I don't know if the joke is right, I tried to say he is a sad wiener I didn't want to use the word hot dog one cause is long and two for the wiener a.k.a penis joke. I know Gene would like it.

Another?
Ron shot him with a wary look, his eyes tracking up and down. He was holding a bottle of beer. “What do you mean,” he said after a long moment of silence. “You’re having another?”
“We are having another baby,” Harry informed him again.
“No.” Ron shook his head.
Harry frowned at him. “What do you mean ‘no’? Ginny and I are having a third.”
Ron looked utterly betrayed. “We said ‘two’ each. We had a pact.”
“I made another pact with my wife,” Harry deadpanned.
Ron took a swig of his beer. “It was an accident, wasn’t it?”
“No.”
“It’s okay, then it means you didn’t actually break our pact,” he told Harry.
Harry looked towards the house. James was being watched by Grandma Molly, and Grandpa Arthur had just taken Hugo and Albus inside. He turned back to Ron. “We just thought one more could be fun, and there was the chance it could be a girl.”
“When did you decide this?” Ron asked.
“Ah.” Harry was taken aback by the question. “A few months ago?”
Ron shook his head again. “If Hermione suddenly gets it into her head a third would be fun, I am blaming you.”
“Great.”
“How are we doing, men?” Ginny asked as she walked up to them.
Harry brought his arm around her waist. “He is being a little dramatic.”
“We were both going to have two kids, they’d be friends together and voila,” Ron argued. “No, you had to have a third. What for?”
“What for?” Ginny retorted. “We had room for one more in our hearts.” She shrugged. “If you had an agreement with Harry, I wasn’t aware. I would have honoured it.”
Ron scoffed. “No, you wouldn’t.”
“No, I wouldn’t,” she agreed. “Come on, Ronald. She’s going to be really cute.”
Ron glanced down at her belly. “So it is a girl?”
Ginny nodded eagerly. “Yes, it is. A boy would have been fine, but this is very exciting!”
“Congratulations,” Ron finally said.
“Why thank you, Ron,” Ginny said sarcastically.
Harry smiled at her and kissed her cheek. “I told you we had to warm him up to the news first. He can be dramatic sometimes.”
Ron gasped. “I’m not dramatic!”
Ginny raised an eyebrow. “May I remind you of the whole ordeal with the muffins last week?”
“I was right about that, and you know it!” he said with a straight face.

Rating: E Ship: Regulus/James Word Count: 7.8k Summary:
“What are you doing here?” A voice asked. It was rough and raw, as if the person had been recovering from a cold, and even though they were clearly at an advantage holding James at gunpoint, there was something gentle and curious about it. “Just doing my job,” James responded easily, attempting to turn his head slightly to get a look at the person holding the gun against his head, but the metal stayed pressed firmly against his temple, not allowing him to move more than an inch.

What's your top 10 Harry Potter favorite characters?
Ginny Weasley - like this girl is so fucking badass! Her boyfriend breaks up with her so she dusts herself off and helps run an ARMY! She is the reason why Hogwarts had a resistance during the war! Then after the war she went on to be one of the best Quidditch players of the century!! Be still my beating heart this girl has it all, and on top of everything she had a severally traumatic experience at 11 and has only grown stronger and braver since!
Percy Weasley - the unsung hero of the Weasley family, and I know haters are going to hate, but this man would do anything for his family. He helped with autistic brother, he kept a steady hand in his ADHD brother, he helped teach his dyslexic brother how to read, and he will forever be the brother Ginny turns to for comfort. He sacrificed everything for the people he loves and it meant everything. (Also he is soooo tall and I find that super attractive)
Hermione Granger - at five years old I looked in the mirror with my two oversized front teeth and messy brown hair and thought that I was Hermione because everyone told me I was smart. I dressed up as her three times for Halloween in middle school. I consumed books and studied and just read because I wanted to be Hermione, and she is still and always will be a favorite of mine.
Harry Potter - without him we wouldn’t have the series, but I don’t care about that. Without Harry, I wouldn’t have a pedestal to place Ginny on (lol). I love Harry for his cool and calm demeanor with the perfect amount of sass and (un)observantness. He’s fun to write for and I love his voice and his sense of humor, and he’s never afraid to give some hard advice when needed.
Ron Weasley - do I love character development!!! Ron is such a fun character to write and read, he has so many thoughts and emotions that are fun to explore and I just always enjoy being in his head a little. I think he becomes a wonderful father and grandfather, and he’s the most well rounded individual of the trio.
Rose and Hugo Weasley - does this seem like cheating? Yes! Do I care?? Absolutely not!! I love these two because just like their parents, they have a very clear and well rounded voice and personality, I’ve written so much of them that I feel like we’re just having conversations most days. It’s fun and I love writing for them and giving them a voice they normally don’t get to have.
Draco and Astoria Malfoy - I love character development! I also wrote Draco a redemption arc where he’s a teacher’s aid to a group of preschoolers and he lives with Andromeda for a few years before her tragic death. I write him falling in love with the Muggle world and also Astoria. Speaking of which, Astoria is just a breath of fresh air to the normal Slytherin mentality and attitude. She’s so warm and giving and kind, she doesn’t hide behind walls of her own making, and she’s usually breaking down others. I love the pair of them together, and Scorpius grows up to have such a happy and stable life with them.
Scorpius Malfoy - he’s the perfect child to Astoria and Draco, he has some of Draco’s sass and stubbornness, but all of Astoria’s unyielding kindness and joy. He is such a sweet and good person who is ambitious in his personal and love life. He knows exactly how he wants his life to be and that means Rose Weasley was going to be his bride and mother to their children, and he gets it all at fifteen, a year sooner than he ever imagined.
James and Lily Potter - I was a Jily shipper before I knew what shipping was. I went seeking out jily stories for my first fanfiction experience and that’s led me down the rabbit hole I live in now. I love the voice of truth and honesty that Lily has, just like her son. And I love James serious dedication and overall hope that he also passes down to his son. Knowing James and Lily made me know Harry better, and the love they have is so powerful it’s managed to save the same life three times.
Angelina Johnson - like Ginny, Angelina is fucking badass! She fell in love with her husband at eleven and never felt her love for him waver. She played Quidditch so well that she was recruited for a starting position, but turned it down to go work in the spell damage ward at St. Mungo’s because saving lives means everything to her. She flew missions for the Order during the war and fought in the battle of Hogwarts without getting so much as a hair out of place. She then fell in love again with her husband as they both healed from their losses, she lost a baby and fought to not lose herself, and she almost died having her twins, but still she persisted. Ange is just amazing.

These Mortals
ensemble next gen fic | albus/oc | rated t | complete at 25 chapters
hogwarts shenanigans
head boy al suffering from stress
romantic entanglements all over the place
sinister reactionary pureblood societies
friendship, families, & fights
chaotic kids performing shakespeare
multiple pov
‘Probably. Talking of insane, how angry d’you think my mum and dad would be if I got a tattoo at Christmas?’
Al squinted at her. ‘Is that a serious question?’
‘Yeah, I might do it. If I can decide where to get it.’ She looked down her body, spreading her hands thoughtfully.
‘Well, remembering their reactions when you pierced your eyebrow, I’d say you’ll be lucky to survive.’
Aunt Hermione was the strict one, but Uncle Ron had a tendency to want Rose and Hugo to stay younger than they were. Al wasn’t sure what their specific opinions on tattoos were, but he couldn’t imagine them wanting Rose to get one.
‘Spoken like a true Head Boy.’ She raised the pierced eyebrow teasingly at him.
Al prodded her ankle with his quill.
‘Spoken like James.’
‘Oh, god.’ She groaned. ‘Nightmare. Better stop myself going down that slippery slope.’
Al laughed, letting his quill drop onto the table. He stretched cramped fingers and leaned back in his chair. He’d been getting no work done anyway. Maybe he could leave it until tomorrow too.
‘Did you come just to ask my advice about tattoos?’
‘I asked your opinion, not your advice. There’s a difference. Anyway, I came because Helena and Emmy are studying crystal balls for Divination, and Saffy’s gone to Quidditch practice.’
Al tried hard not to react to Saffy’s name, but knew he’d failed immediately, as Rose’s eyes sharpened.
‘So, is that, like, a forever thing?’ she asked conversationally. ‘You can’t be around Saffy anymore?’
He glared at her.
‘Of course I can be around her. I’m around her all the time. We’re friends.’
‘Are you? Because it seems like if Saff’s there, you make an excuse not to be. And she says you don’t even talk to her in Herbology, even though you guys have that together.’
The idea that Saffy and Rose talked about him behind his back made something inside him curl in embarrassment and resentment. Rose was his cousin. She was meant to be on his side.
The trouble was, she was also Saffy’s best friend. And he’d sworn to himself that he’d never make her choose between them.
‘Look, I don’t want to have this conversation with you,’ he muttered.
‘Okay,’ Rose said, her tone neutral. ‘Just—listen, Al, you know I don’t expect you to forgive anyone. What happened was shitty, and they were the ones who did the shitty thing. I mean, doing that right after you guys broke up. I'd hate them too. But just so you know, she feels fucking terrible about it. Like, she regrets it so much. And I’m not saying you have to be friends with her, or even stop hating her, but—’
‘God,’ Al broke in. ‘Rose, just stop.’ He leaned his head against the back of his chair and closed his eyes so he didn’t have to see her. ‘I don’t hate her,’ he added quietly.
He wished he could. That would be way easier.

@hprecfest | week one
Tumblr media
day one | a favourite fic under 5k
a dream of winter by Delphi (1.4k words) summary: Three glimpses into the life of Kendra Dumbledore. (An interpretation of the ambiguous description of the character in Deathly Hallows.)
One of my favourite things fanfiction is capable of is correcting canon -- not just in no-one-dies fix-it fics, but by taking clumsy exposition at its word and expanding on it. This fic takes the odd description of Kendra Dumbledore in DH and breathes life into her as a Mohawk woman living on Godric's Hollow.
day two | a comfort fic
the secret diary of hugo granger-weasley, aged thirteen and a half by @floreatcastellumposts summary: Rose says that I am an oblivious moron, but would an oblivious moron have such a deep and sensitive diary? I don't think so. No one knows how I suffer in this ridiculous family. Written for SIYE's The Burrow Secret Challenge 2016, and inspired by Sue Townsend's Adrian Mole.
A particularly great comfort read for this time of year: Hugo, who Flo characterizes perfectly as an awkward, oblivious, serious teenager with a diary, tries to get to the bottom of a mystery at the centre of a busy Weasley Christmas.
day three | a podfic
the last enemy by @shootwithintenttokill @chdarling's Marauder's series is already one I recommend to everyone (even non-fanfic reading HP fans) and @shootwithintenttokill's undertaking of turning it into a podfic is so impressive. New chapters are slotted into my regular podcast listening routine and they're an excellent way to re-read TLE and pick up on all the wonderful foreshadowing in CH's fic.
day four | a fic with art
no amount of therapy can help by The_wig_is_a_metaphor summary: The entire internet is aware of occultist youtuber Lord Voldemort's infatuation with niche content creator JustHarry. The entire internet is baffled.
This is a Muggle HarryMort Youtube AU told epistolary-style with screenshots, comments, text threads, and it's the funniest thing I've ever read. Every single icon and screenshot is a joke and I still find new things to laugh at on every reread. As a bonus, this fic inspired one of my very favourite confused-bi!Ron-Romione Muggle AUs, HOW TO BUILD WATER WHEEL by doshu
day five | a non-ao3 fic
not as a last resort by Arabella summary: Hermione and Ron, a snowstorm, and Hagrid's cabin. Takes place during fifth year. This story was written prior to the release of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
Now only available on a wayback machine capture of sugarquill.net, one of my first favourite fics and my introduction to the "only one bed trope"! This fic surprisingly holds up, despite being written before half the series' worth of characterization. Some things make me laugh looking back (like the fanfic writers' steadfast belief that the yule ball would be an annual event) but overall it's just as sweet and romantic as the first time I read it when I was 14.
day six | an unreliable narrator fic
the disappointments of cormac mclaggen by morgs_writes(orphan_account) summary: Cormac McLaggen has a hard life, made even worse when Ron Weasley starts stealing everything Cormac desires.
Oh Cormac, HUGE BOY, one of my problematic faves, thinks he's the one who holds all the power when it comes to the Slug Club holiday party. 🙄
day seven | a canon compliant fic
the mountain tomb by @nought-shall-go-ill summary: A man and a woman meet at the base of a mountain. With no memories, they don’t know each other, they don’t know their past, they don’t even know their own names. All they know is that they have a difficult journey ahead that they must take together — one that they fear could destroy them in the process.
Since I read a lot of canon-compliant fic I wanted to choose something for this rec that really pushes the boundaries of what that can mean. This fic is misty and ambiguous and fantastical (even for fanfic of a fantasy series) and so worth reading.

Some time in the future…
Harry: That’s why we named you Albus
Lily: Oh, my gosh. Dad, that’s horrible
Harry: What?
Lily: He just left you with Aunt Petunia? And he sent you back every year, knowing what they were like?
Harry: But he had to because of my mother’s protection
James: But it would have worked without her, just a bit weaker. I mean, Dumbledore was the most powerful wizard in Britain, he surely could have figured something out
Teddy: You should have gone to Sirius and my dad
Harry: Sirius was convicted and Remus couldn’t care for me himself because he struggled because of the werewolf prejudice
Rose: Isn’t that suspicious, too? Sirius didn’t even get a trial. Okay, yes, he did look guilty, but even Bellatrix Lestrange got a trial and she was an out-and-proud Death Eater
Harry: Er… Well- I- Um…
Molly: Dumbledore had a lot of pull with the Ministry back then, didn’t he? He could have said something
Harry: To be fair, Sirius looked very guilty
Hugo: But didn’t you all blindly follow Dumbledore in the Order because of his impeccable judgement?
Roxanne: Either he was wrong about Sirius and so his judgement wasn’t as accurate as everyone said…
James: Or the bastard knew and said nothing because it was inconvenient to his plan
Harry: No, I mean, there’s another reason probably…
Fred: Did you say that Snape only shared information with Voldemort that Dumbledore approved? So Dumbledore sacrificed Emmeline Vance?
Harry: Oh, my—
Louis: He really ignored you for an entire year? After the trauma you went through at the end of the tournament?
Harry: He thought it would be best
Dominique: But why?
Harry: …
Albus: And why did you need to find all the Horcruxes?
Harry: It was my destiny to destroy Tom Riddle
Albus: Yeah, you had to finish him off, but anyone could have found the Horcruxes. Dumbledore could have asked one of the many Order members to look for them
Scorpius: You said he knew about them for years, right? He didn’t find out how many exactly, but he could have gotten the Order to make a start
Lucy: It would have made things much easier on you, Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron. There’s no reason others couldn’t have started the hunt before you turned seventeen
Lily: I imagine you would have faced Voldemort a lot sooner, and so many lives would have been saved
Victoire: Uncle Harry, you were only seventeen. He shouldn’t have put that on you, even if you were the “chosen one”
Harry: But if he— I mean, he couldn’t just— I’m sure he—
Harry: …
Harry: Merlin’s beard…

Can you make a fanfic about rose,Hugo,Ron and Hermione family time before rose and Hugo inter Hogwarts I really loved the way you write 😍😍❤️❤️
Hi there! Thanks so much for the love! I hope you enjoy this piece from Rose's perspective, an ode to her family before she leaves for Hogwarts. I thought it fit perfectly with the theme "Meet the Family" for @romioneweek. Cheers!
Romione Week Day 5 - Meet the Family
Granger-Weasleys: A History
When Mum gave me a piece of paper and a quill, she told me that I should write about what my family means to me ahead of my first journey to Hogwarts. Although it feels like she was just eager to give me my first ever essay, she also says that I should save this letter for my future self to read, just in case I need a reminder of the light in my life when things seem most dark.
It's not easy to find the proper words to describe my family. It's so big, usually chaotic, and sometimes downright barmy, but I wouldn't trade my Granger-Weasley genes for anything.
My little brother, Hugo, is always the mischievous little one in the family. Arts and crafts hold his attention for such long periods of time throughout the day that I start to wonder if he's being recruited early by Uncle George to create a new line of children's products for the joke shop.
We don't always get along, but then again, what pair of siblings do?
Then there's my mum. Dad calls her the "anchor" of our house, and I can't agree more.
I share my love for books with her, and I grew up memorizing lines from Hogwarts: A History as soon as I could read, so I'm very knowledgeable on what the ceiling in the Great Hall looks like and that the use of Muggle computers isn’t possible on school grounds, which has made Bampy Weasley very sad to think about.
Mum doesn't cook but Dad does, and he can make wicked chicken and ham sandwiches. One of the first times I remember seeing magic was when an empty plate of food magically refilled itself. Blimey! I love magic.
Dad says I’m a good mix of him and Mum. I get excited when Mum tells me that she thinks I could become a prefect like them someday and I giggle when Dad later whispers in my ear that he’s got loads of fun stories to share with me before bedtime of the mischief my Uncles, Fred and George, got into while they were at school. I laugh with Dad a lot and he’s always willing to take me for a fly, which I LOVE!
After all, he surprised me once with my first ever toy broom! Mum was furious, but Dad calmed her down like he always does. Sometimes they kiss out in the open — it's gross, really. Lucky for me, Mum doesn't like public affection, however from time to time, she lets my dad be a bad influence on her. Mum doesn't seem to mind it too much when it comes from him.
Mum says that I am the most well-spoken eleven-year old she knows and thinks I could become a professional writer — as long as I don’t end up like that beetle, Rita Skeeter, and makes me promise to only publish real news if I decide to work for The Daily Prophet. Dad then tells me that they'd love me all the same even if I wasn't so smart and clever and that I could be anything I want to be — except a quidditch player for the Bulgarian team. He says it jokingly, of course, but Mum rolls her eyes every time. I don’t know if I quite get the joke, but I know all about their most famous player, Viktor Krum, from the Quidditch magazines that my Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny let me read. They always tell me that Krum is “he who must not be named” around my Dad.
My parents are very educated and brave. Sometimes I feel a little intimidated by my high-achieving family, and wonder if the other kids in my year will gawk and stare, knowing I'm the child of two war heroes — my cousin, James, has told me that the attention wears off, and the other students will find something new to chat about...eventually.
I know all about the war, of course, and my parents' epic time at Hogwarts through the moving photographs they have stowed away in an album on Mum's bookshelf. They only let me look at them occasionally, but I wonder sometimes if I will get to go on adventures like them? Dad’s face goes red when I ask him. I don’t think he likes that thought very much. I should ask Nanny and Bampy how they felt when he was in school.
My parents always emphasize that I’m supposed to tell the truth, even if it puts me in a rotten situation. I’m expected to be courteous to everyone I meet — even Scorpius Malfoy who, according to Dad, will be in my year. Dad let it slip once that Mum slapped Scorpius' father across the face while at school. Mum can be dramatic sometimes, but Dad seems quite proud of her for standing up for herself, and wants me to do the same if the Malfoys start giving me any trouble.
"Just don't tell your mum," he insists.
To sum it all up before my hand starts to cramp up, my parents and little brother are the absolute best. Hugo and I have always been taught to help other people out without expecting anything in return, to be patient and kind even when people treat us like rubbish — with the exception of the Malfoys, as Dad mentions — and to remember that with just a little bit of courage and bravery, we can do anything we set our minds to.
So how would I describe my home? Happiness. Love. Fun-filled. Trusting.
Hogwarts may soon become my new home for many years, but I will never forget the home I grew up in, the home I will come back to, and the home that has taught me that anyone can see the magic in the world if they just believe.
Yes, Mum, I know I won’t be allowed to use magic outside of school, but a girl can dream about the day that she is old enough to do so, right?
I am so lucky.
Signed,
Rose Granger-Weasley, Age 11

Hide and Seek
Day 6, Story #1 is by @adenei
Title: Hide and Seek
Author: adenei
Pairing: Teddy Lupin/Victoire Weasley
Prompt: Babysitting
Rating: PG
TW: Mild Language
**********
“Don’t let them stay up too late,” Ginny reminds him as she opens the front door.
“And send us a Patronus if anything goes wrong. We’ll be here in an instant,” Hermione adds fretfully.
“Oi, ‘Mione, really? They’re not babies anymore!”
“Let’s go, or we’re going to miss our Portkey.”
Teddy laughs at the interaction. Of all the adults, it’s Harry who’s pressing them about tardiness. The foursome are headed on a weekend getaway, staying at the Delacours’ beachside cottage for three nights. James was shipped off to George and Angelina’s, while Rose opted to go to Percy and Audrey’s, so Teddy’s charges only include Albus, Hugo, and Lily.
“Everything’s going to be fine. I’ve got this! And if I don’t, I can think of at least five other Weasleys to call. Maybe even a Malfoy if I’m desperate.”
“That’s not funny, Lupin,” Ron warns as Ginny swats him upside the head.
“But if Scorpius does ask for Albus to go over for an afternoon, it’s fine!”
“Noted. Go enjoy your weekend!”
Teddy half shoves them out the door this time as he shuts and locks it behind them. The kids are out back playing in the garden, so Teddy goes out to join them. He’s chuffed that Harry and Ginny trust him enough to watch Al and Lily for the weekend. Plus, Ron and Hermione added Hugo to the mix. Normally, they’d be shipped off to the Burrow to stay with Molly and Arthur, but since it’s only a long weekend, and the kids are ten and twelve now, Teddy Lupin, a recent Hogwarts graduate, has been bestowed the responsibility.
He’s always been the mature older ‘sibling’—well, he counts himself as a sibling or cousin to all the Weasleys, but he’s not blood-related. Harry and Ginny half raised him, though, so he’s just as much a part of the family as any of the kids. Heck, maybe someday he’d officially be part of the family.
No, it’s too early to be having those thoughts.
But there’s one person who makes him happier than anything to know he’s not related to the Weasleys by blood. Victoire, his best friend and girlfriend. As Teddy sits back and gets comfortable on a patio chair, he lets his mind wander to spring afternoons spent by the lake as he observes the kids playing on the muggle swingset Harry insisted on putting together years ago.
“Who knew a giant Muggle toy would get so much use?”
Teddy jumps at the sound of a voice he’s not expecting.
“Vic! What are you doing here? I mean, not that I’m complaining, but…”
She laughs as Teddy backtracks. The sound is music to his ears, soft and lyrical, and something he’ll never tire of. Making her laugh is something he’s striven to do ever since they were young. When she fell off her toy broom, he made his hair change colors at a rapid pace in an attempt to make her giggle, and then there was the time she broke up with her first boyfriend during her fourth year, when he’d used the Jelly Legs Jinx on the bloke’s legs while he walked over a patch of ice. Victoire’s laugh has always been the fuel that set his heart on fire.
“Well, you said you had to babysit this weekend, and I thought I might come over and help entertain my cousins,” she explains as she pulls up a chair next to him.
“Yeah, but the adults have only just left! You don’t think I can keep the kids alive on my own for more than an hour?”
“Of course, I do!” She slides her hand in his while waiting for a beat, “especially since James isn’t here.”
“Oh, I see how it is! James isn’t that bad.”
“No, he’s not. He just likes mischief. It’s a common Weasley trait.”
“And a Potter one, too, if I’m not mistaken. Harry and Ginny never stood a chance, especially after naming him after Harry’s dad and godfather.”
“True. When I have kids, they won’t be named after anyone. They deserve to have their own unique names.”
Teddy offers a sad smile at Victoire’s words. He’s named after his dad and granddad and doesn’t mind all that much, but he sees where Victoire is coming from, what with being named after a bloody war for Merlin’s sake.
“Maybe you shouldn’t have insisted on entering this world on the second of May, then. I mean, come on, Vic, of all the days!”
“Oh, sod off, Lupin,” she feigns seriousness while her eyes shine with mirth.
“I do agree with you, though. There’s enough people in this family who’re named after somebody else. I don’t mind it, but I do like the concept of original names. Though, I do think we’re a ways off from baby name talk, don’t you?”
He can’t help but lighten the mood. Teddy’s sure she means nothing by the comment and is just thinking out loud, but something still possesses him to weave it into their future. Perhaps it’s to gauge her thoughts in a casual manner?
“Probably, but it’s fun to talk about, isn’t it? I mean, it’s not like we’re actually picking names or anything.”
“Or determining how many kids we’re going to have…”
“Which would absolutely be—”
“Two!” they both say at the same time.
It’s really more of an inside joke, with Teddy witnessing firsthand the chaos that is the Potter household with three kids, and Victoire being the oldest of three. And yet, there’s some truth laced into their lighthearted conversation.
“See?” Victoire says as she leans in close, “This is why we’re good together.”
She plants a kiss on his cheek at the exact wrong moment because that’s when Hugo shouts,
“Victoire! Look, guys! Vic’s here!”
“Oops,” she whispers bashfully in his ears.
So far, they’ve managed to keep their relationship a secret from the family, but it looks like that’s about to end sooner rather than later. Of course, Harry and Ginny know, and Vic told Bill and Fleur when she came home at the end of term, but the cousins were still blissfully unaware… until now.
The three kids run over to Vic and Teddy, and Lily eyes them with curiosity. “Teddy, why did Vic just kiss you on the cheek?”
There are a multitude of different answers Teddy could choose from. ‘No reason’, ‘don’t worry about it’, ‘it’s nothing’, but instead he opts for, “Why do you think, Lils?”
Her eyes grow wider than her small face allows, and a wide O forms on her lips. “Are you two… together?” she whispers.
Teddy and Vic share a look. They both know the secret’s out now.
“Yeah, Lils, we are,” Teddy admits as he holds up the hand that’s still intertwined with Vic’s.
If there weren’t wards in place, Teddy’s sure that Lily’s shriek of delight could have been heard for miles. Albus and Hugo, on the other hand, seemed disinterested in the whole ordeal.
“Can we play hide and seek or something?” Albus asked once Lily was done reacting to the news.
Point in case.
“Wait, who else knows?” Hugo interrupts Albus’s question and bringing the focus back on Teddy and Vic.
“Of all the cousins? Only you three,” Vic answers.
“Only us?” Lily gasps.
“Not even James?” Albus eyes Teddy curiously.
“Not even James,” Teddy confirms. “Tell you what, we can go play hide and seek now, but what about an even better game?”
All three look on expectantly, waiting for Teddy’s proposition.
“What if we play, ‘let’s see how long it takes James to figure out Vic and I are dating’? We can all place bets, and I’ll take whoever guesses the closest date out for ice cream.”
Vic flashes him a knowing smile as the kids contemplate his offer.
“I’m in,” Lily says without thinking it through.
“Me too,” Hugo agrees.
“But that means we’ll have to keep it a secret,” Albus realizes.
He’s much more intuitive at eleven than Teddy ever dreamed of being.
“Yeah. Everyone else has to find out on their own, which means you can’t tell anyone.”
Lily and Hugo both nod in agreement, and after a bit more pondering, Albus agrees.
“Okay, but can we pick dates later? I want to play!”
Ted and Vic both laugh as Teddy offers to count to twenty. He closes his eyes and makes a big show of counting while Vic remains at his side.
“Nice one.”
“Thanks,” he responds in between shouting numbers. “I figure James is thick enough that we’ll get at least a couple more weeks out of him. He is Harry’s son, after all...”
Not only did they get a couple of weeks out of the deal, but the rest of the summer. It wasn’t until September first when James caught them snogging behind a pillar on Platform Nine and Three-Quarters and ran to announce it to the world that the couple knew the jig was up.
“Looks like I owe Al a trip to Fortescue’s next time I see him.”

Valeria
Title: Valeria
Prompt: Photo
Tumblr name:
Rating: GA
Word Count: 1392
Brief summary: Sometimes someone steps into your life when you least expect it. Ron and Hermione had made a lot of life changing decisions together, and this is the beginning of another.
Any content warning: None
*******
When the first ray of sunlight appeared on the horizon, marking the start of this new day, a very tall, red-headed man walked through the streets of London with a confident stride. His burgundy-red robes billowed behind him and his tired, unshaven face painted the picture of a somehow shady individual roaming the streets in these early morning hours. This, however, contrasted with the spring in his steps, the spark in his eyes and the huge smile lighting up the ginger’s fatigued face.
Ron Weasley was dealing with a whirlwind of emotions right now. His heartbeat raced as fast as his mind, causing his chest to fill with both anxiety and excitement.
He was on his way home from one of his Auror missions. Although Ron retired from this kind of work many years ago, he couldn’t say no when Harry asked him to help out in one of his cases, only one day after Hugo went off to Hogwarts for the first time.
Destiny and fate weren’t a concept Ron believed in, but if he did, he might think it was meant to be that he got asked to join this particular mission. Two weeks ago, he accompanied a ten-year-old Squib girl to an orphanage. She had not said a single word that day, but kept holding Ron’s hand from the moment they had found her at the crime scene right until it had been time for Ron to leave for home.
The following evenings, he’d kept visiting Valeria before his night shifts started. Her silence remained for several more days and Ron just sat with her, talking about the weather, chess and the newest invention sold at the joke shop. One day though, she suddenly reached for the wedding band on his left hand, briefly grazing over the gold ring.
“Can you tell me about your family?” Valeria asked, her voice quiet and barely audible.
He’d deliberately avoided the topic so far because he assumed talking about his wife and kids would only inflict pain. “What do you want to know?”
Valeria thought about it for a second before her curious eyes flitted to his hand again.
“Is she pretty?” she asked, smiling a little at Ron’s amused expression.
“Very,” Ron told her as he fished out a photograph from his wallet and gave it to her.
It was an old picture his mother-in-law had taken of them when Rose and Hugo were 6 and 4. Instead of looking into the camera, Rose, despite laughing, had her eyes squeezed shut as their dog Jeff licked across her face. And while Ron and Hermione dutifully smiled into the camera, Hugo had not sat still in his mother’s arms. The boy had gifted his grandmother a toothy smile while his upper body was hanging upside down, causing Hermione's smile to waver a bit as she struggled to hold Hugo.
“Hermione and I accepted a long time ago that a perfect family picture will most likely never happen,” Ron chuckled, causing Valeria to smile too as she stared at the photograph.
“I think it is perfect,” she said and Ron couldn't help but agree.
Ron shifted in his seat to make himself more comfortable before narrating the adventures of the Granger-Weasley family.
Valeria listened with rapt attention, smiling and laughing and gasping at Ron's stories, and not once did she let go of the photograph.
*******
Hermione sat at the kitchen table, remaining silent after Ron had finished his little speech.
He knew that what he was proposing was crazy. The plan he came up with within the last few hours contained everything they needed to do in order to adopt Valeria. From how they could manage their working hours over therapy possibilities to Muggle school options.
Still, he was well aware that this came out of the blue, even to himself. This would, without a doubt, change their lives forever. But when Ron had to leave for work that night, Valeria had reluctantly given the photograph of his family back to him. And right at that moment, something suddenly clicked into place.
All throughout his shift that night he had been thinking about his idea. Would Hermione agree? Would they be fit to care for this girl? Would Hugo and Rose be okay with this? And most of all, would Valeria even want to be a part of their family? But the idea cemented itself both inside his mind and heart.
“She's probably traumatized and needs professional help,” Hermione broke her silence.
“She's definitely traumatized. And yes.”
“She might not want to live with us. Maybe she wants to right now but later decide she doesn't want to anymore.”
“Yes.”
“We might not be fit to handle a traumatized child,” Hermione voiced his own concerns.
“Possibly.”
“She might become sad and angry about her not being able to do magic when she'll see it performed around her every day.”
Ron nodded. He thought about this too, wincing when he remembered how his family, him included, kept talking about their Squib relative from his Mum’s side.
“The adoption process is probably not that easy. I assume there’s a lot of paper work to go through and take care of. Maybe we can be her foster parents for a while before we adopt. Are foster parents a thing in the magical world?” Hermione frowned at the thought of bureaucracy making this harder for them.
Without giving Ron the chance to reply she kept talking, “The kids could not get along with her. Although I'm quite sure Hugo will stop at nothing to make her like him. And Rose will probably take her on broom rides and try to coax her into this book club her brother and all her cousins refuse to take part in. Would she be okay with Jeff? He can be very overwhelming sometimes, after all. Should we make Valeria and Rose share a room? Rose won't be home for-”
Ron cut her off with a sound kiss on her lips. Emotions threatened to overwhelm him as he cradled his wife's face between his hands and found that certain glint he loved lighting up in her dark eyes.
“So, we'll do it?”
Hermione stood up on her tiptoes, kissing the tip of Ron's nose. “Yes,” she said, “Ron, I think this is wonderful. This is scary and risky and unexpected but I really want to do this. I can’t wait to meet Valeria and ask her if she wants to live with us.”
“Brilliant,” Ron murmured as he showered her face with kisses, “Let's write the kids.”
*******
Hermione traced one of Ron's brain scars, letting her fingers glide over the skin of his right shoulder. Goosebumps appeared underneath her touch and for a smug second she marvelled about the effect she still had on him after over 20 years.
She lifted her head from his shoulder to look at him, “I love you!”
He gave her one of his lopsided smiles, his blue eyes sparkling with mischief, “I'm quite the catch, aren't I?”
Usually, she would join the banter, but not today. Today she needed him to know how brilliant he was.
“No, Ron, I mean it.” Soppy love declarations were never her forte but tonight she could not let it be with a simple I love you.
“I never thought I could love you more than I already did,” she said as her eyes flitted to the framed photograph on Ron's nightstand where younger versions of themselves smiled and waved into the camera as newlyweds,
“Today you proved me wrong, though. I have never loved you more than I do right now.”

The Incident - Romione +
Tumblr media
Ao3
A/N: Thanks to @vivithefolle for getting through my enormous writer’s block to inspire me to write this story. It’s angst filled Hurt/Comfort/Family with many triggering aspects for those who are ND. I apologize for it but the story wouldn’t leave me alone.
Given the nature of the subject matter, I’m personally rating this M rated - and because of the troubling aspects of the story, especially for those who would be triggered by what the story entails.
CW: child bullying, child injury, being bullied for being neurodivergent
Give me my demarcation line, damn it!
The Incident
Once more, with Feeling
Hermione took her reading glasses off of her nose and rubbed her eyes. She was absolutely at her wit’s end with the bloody bureaucracy of the Wizengamot and why they refuse to do things her way when it’s the best for everyone involved. But No, that sod Purifoy has to put in his Galleon and derail everything and cause a ruckus in the chambers.
“Mrs. Granger?” Hermione’s executive assistant Miranda Blunt stuck her head in the office. “Mrs. Potter is calling, says it’s an emergency.”
“Put her through,” Hermione got up from her vast oaken desk and went to the fireplace. The flames in there turned green from the warming orange from the chilly August morning.
“Hermione,” Ginny’s voice came through crystal clear. “We need you at St. Mungo’s immediately.”
Her heart lurched to a sudden stop. “What’s happened? Ron?” Hermione rose from the fireplace and went to collect her purse from the secure drawer in her desk. “If it involves Harry he’s going to catch an earful.” She pulled the compact mirror from her pocket and opened it, waiting the seconds for her assistant to open hers. “I’m going to St. Mungo’s. I’ll check back in as soon as I can.”
“Understood.” Miranda broke the connection.
“What’s happened?” Hermione reached for the urn on the mantle.
“It’s Hugo,” Ginny didn’t elaborate. “We need you immediately.”
Hermione froze. Her baby. Well, not a real baby anymore, not after the growth spurt he had this summer and seemed to stretch out by inches, taking after Ron, but still such a sweet boy. She enjoyed snuggling him when he would allow it, but he couldn’t fall asleep unless Ron was holding him in his arms, holding onto him awkwardly until his soft snores told everyone that he could be gently placed in his own bed.
She shook herself from her stupor and reached into the urn for the Floo powder and threw it in, stepping through the few blocks to the Auror waiting area. She saw Ginny sitting there with Rose, James, Al, and Lily Luna. Harry was nowhere to be found. Rose had her hand wrapped up, like she’d broken it and James was sitting on the other side of the room, two black eyes and a blood crusted nose that looked like it hadn’t been treated yet.
“Where –
“The nurse will see you back,” Ginny said stoically.
Hermione ran from the room to the admission desk and saw the Nurse. Hermione knew her well enough by face and first name but wasn’t much beyond that. “I was told my son was admitted. Hugo Weasley-Granger.”
“Yes, you’re needed.” The nurse left the window and met Hermione at the doors, walking briskly into the various hallways that hadn’t changed much in the last 20 years. “Mrs. Potter brought your son in about twenty minutes ago and we said we needed you immediately. He’s been hurt but there’s something else going on, something we don’t quite understand, and you might be able to shed some light on the situation.”
Hermione went into the area and saw her son sitting in the corner of the room, rocking back and forth with his arms wrapped around his knees. There was some crusted blood on his neck, below his ear, and a huge bruise on the side of his face.
“He won’t let us near him, Mrs. Weasley,” a medi-witch spoke up first. “Any time any of us even gets within a meter of him, he screams.”
“I am going to sit on the ground. Every time I finish a sentence, move me six inches closer. His therapist has things in place to help him when he gets like this.” Hermione dropped her purse and put her wand down. She knew about these behaviors and she’d read up on how to help him cope as well.
“Hugo, Mummy is here.” Her voice was so flat to her own ears it frightened her – but she knew from Audrey that it would be soothing for her son. “You’re safe. No one else is going to hurt you,” She felt magic surround her, ever so slowly shifting her forward towards her son. “Aunt Ginny told me you needed me. I came straight away.”
She repeated the mantra until she was sitting right in front of her son. While he looked somewhat like Ron, being gangly and with auburn hair with ginger strands and streaks through it, it had her texture, along with freckles across his nose and on his neck. But he took after her in personality, temperament, and how he saw the world, but only more intensely. She understood him, when he would be quiet for hours at a time, or completely engrossed in something that interested him.
She suspected he was much like her by the time he was a year old, with some behaviors she had been watching to see if they manifested. As soon as they started, she took him to a Muggle doctor who recommended her to a specialist who made a tentative diagnosis. He had a cadre of therapists to help him with his speech and role playing so he wouldn’t have a meltdown for any change in his daily schedule.
She knew. She didn’t need it to be tentative, from how much he’d get overwhelmed at Sunday lunches at the Burrow to not liking being hugged or easily frustrated to even the texture of his clothing, which she understood far too well.  Yes, he was much like her so seeing him like this was painful. But while her parents struggled for so long, she fought like hell so he wouldn’t struggle as much as she did growing up.
“Hugo, I am right here. I’m not going anywhere. No one is going to hurt you.  When you are ready, you can crawl into my lap. Take the time you need.”
Ever so slowly, in what felt like hours was probably seconds, Hugo slowly ceased rocking before crawling into her lap, right before he started rocking hard yet again.
He settled in and she took a deep breath, knowing that the first giant hurdle had been passed.
“Love, the medi-witch is going to use magic to put us up on the bed. Close your eyes and bury your face in my chest. They won’t be using magic on you, only me.” He did as instructed, burying his head into the flannel of her jumper. She looked at the Medi-witch.  She watched the non-verbal incantation wand movement and braced slightly. Magic enveloped her again, levitating her from the very cold tile floor up onto the gurney.
“Sweetie, will you hold my hand? I don’t want you to talk but I do need you to communicate with me and I know this way is much easier for you right now.” She opened her hand and waited for him to put his in hers, squeezing it hard.
“That’s terrific, love. Now you don’t have to talk at all the rest of the time we’re here, only answer my questions by squeezing my hand.” Hermione stared over his head at the Medi-witch and watched her procure parchment and self-dictating quill. She nodded once for Hermione to start.
“Did Rosie hurt you?” One squeeze. “Rosie didn’t hurt you. That’s good. I’m happy to hear that.”
“Did Lils hurt you?” One squeeze. “Al?” One squeeze. “So Jamie hurt you?” Two squeezes.
“Could you tell Aunt Ginny what happened?” One squeeze. “You hurt too much, doesn’t it?” Two squeezes. “I thought so. Are you still hurting?” Two squeezes. “And you don’t want to tattle on Jamie?” One squeeze.
“Was Jamie playing Quidditch?” Two squeezes. “Was he chasing a snitch?” One squeeze. “Throwing a Quaffle?” Two squeezes. “The bludger?” two squeezes.
“Were you on your toy broom outside, playing?” Two squeezes. “Was Aunt Ginny watching you?” One squeeze. “Jamie convinced you to go play outside with him and Rose?” Two squeezes. “And then you got hurt and saw Aunt Ginny?” Two squeezes.
“Jamie convinced you to come outside and ride your broom without an adult.” She sighed. “Jamie means well sometimes but he doesn’t quite fathom why the rules are in place for Hugo.” She turned back to her son. “I’m not mad at you, sweetie. You love your older cousin and want to be able to play with him and Rosie and you hate being left out.” Two squeezes. “Yes, I figured as such.”
Hermione looked at the other medi-witch. “Have you asked Mrs. Potter what happened?”
“She said that she found two bludgers flying around their pitch and Hugo on the ground crying.”
“Did Jamie hit the bludgers at you?” Hugo started rocking. “More than once?” The rocking grew frantic and she felt her shirt getting damp.
The door crashed open, and Ron stood in the doorway, seeing his wife and child on the gurney. Hermione slightly shook her head before seeing his ears turning red. Right now she couldn’t cope with Ron and Hugo so Ron would have to deal with it, for now at least.
He closed the door softly while Hermione rocked Hugo in her lap, letting her son have his silent meltdown without him noticing everyone in the room watching him. People watching him meltdown always made it worse.
The Healer pulled his wand and handed it to the medi-witch, showing Hermione without his wand that he wanted to charm Hugo to sleep so they could tend him. She nodded and watched the healer gently apply the charm to her son and felt him drift off to sleep, like he’d fallen asleep in her arms which he hadn’t done since he was a toddler. He always preferred his Daddy once he could make his wishes known. She wouldn’t complain, even if her heart had been beating out of her chest entirely too hard for her continued good health.
She stood and gently placed her son on the gurney, feeling a sob try to erupt. She stifled it, knowing she’d pay for it later on but Hugo came first.
“Now that he’s asleep, we can check him. We did not want to do that without a parent’s presence and their permission. But his behavior was so queer that – “
Hermione turned and if she’d had her wand in her hand, she couldn’t guarantee that she wouldn’t have hexed the healer tending her son. “His behaviour is not queer,” Hermione growled. “My son is Autistic. He’s been diagnosed by Muggle doctors and has Healer Reeves as his Magical counselor. He takes after me that way and I’d appreciate it if you didn’t refer to my son that way.”
“Yes, Mrs. Weasley,” he retorted instantly. “He got upset and we didn’t know how to help him once Mrs. Potter had left the room.”
“Now you know,” she snorted, “and now you can tell me what happened.”
Hermione stepped back to the side of the room and watched the Healers and multiple medi-witches work on her son, using magical diagnostic charms and spells to work. They worked efficiently, silently, with a medi-witch dictating the medical records.
Seconds passed that felt like days, with the Healers finally turning back to Hermione, seeing her. “He will be OK. From what Mrs. Potter told us, along with our tests, he has a concussion from getting hit with a bludger. There is also a huge bruise on his back from what looks like another bludger impact. I’d almost say that someone was hitting them at your son, but I don’t like to make assumptions. Bruise paste will fix the back but for the head, he will need time at home, with little in the way of lights and noise. It’s not severe, not like Quidditch players get from time to time, but he will require some time to rest and recover.”
“There’s nothing you can do for him?”
“These things are tricky when it comes to the brain. Even Muggle Medicine has limitations when it comes to this kind of brain injury. But at his age, he needs rest and quiet and darkness to remove stimulation for him. It would probably benefit him in the long run, too, given what you’ve said.”
She sighed, trying to take a deep breath that just wouldn’t happen. Her precious son, her sensitive child, was bullied by an older cousin. That was bad enough. That would be dealt with as soon as Hugo was home and asleep in his bed.  But to add a possible traumatic brain injury to it, at his age, was a bit too far. Fortunately, she had ample time accrued to take off and spend it with him, or work from home given everything going on. However, seeing to what happened took priority after tending Hugo.
“When can we take him home, since my husband is probably out in the waiting room?”
“We shall be finished shortly, maybe a few more minutes, and then take him home straightaway. No Floo travel for at least a month. No Portkeys either since it might aggravate any sort of injury. Apparition or Muggle transport only, and then keep it as minimal as possible, for his benefit.”
Hermione understood that all too well. She tended Harry and Ron occasionally after mishaps with the Aurors.  “Please keep him asleep until I return. I need to go speak with my husband.” She collected her purse from near the door and slipped out, knowing that Ron would be mad with grief. Instead, she found him pacing the hallway around the first corner.
“How is he?” He raced up to her when he saw her, embracing her like she desperately needed. She didn’t realize how much tension let go with his hug. “I didn’t want to come back in and upset Hugh. I knew you’d have it under control.”
Hermione explained what happened as well as what caused it. Ron’s face grew even more pale than normal but his ears and neck grew intensely red.
“I’m upset too but we will handle it later, once we get Hugo home and in bed resting. And it’s not like Ginny probably hasn’t tended to things by now.” She slumped back into her husband’s arms. Who knew that her heart would have two distinct beats from her own, and stress hers when anything happened to either of her kids. She hadn’t realized until now how much her children’s welfare meant to her, especially when it came to the treatment by the family. “We need the healers to check on Rosie. She had a wrap around her wrist when I rushed through the waiting room.”
“You go get Hugo and take him home. I’ll tend to Rosie and we’ll be home straightaway. I also will need to speak with her and find out what happened.”
Hermione took a deep breath, relaxing her back and shoulders. “I’ll see you when you get home, Love.” She stood on her tiptoes and brushed a kiss across his lips. The privacy of the hallway would suffice, given the overwhelming adoration she had for her husband. He was her rock, her foundation, rarely getting inside his head too much now, but also giving her subtle direction and taking the mental load on what needed to be done without being boorish like she could be. He never demanded, and never expressed disappointment when she made a different decision but, most of the time, his wisdom was exactly what she needed when she felt lost and drowning in indecision.
She turned and went back to the room to collect her son and take him home.
*****************
“Hermione, we’re home,” Ron bellowed into their residence outside of Cardiff. “And Ginny will be over as soon as the Healers tend Jamie.”
Hermione came out of Hugo’s room, closing the door without shutting it completely. “I have it dark and quiet in his room, and the potion the healers gave him should let him sleep for hours. They said he needed to sleep and rest as much as possible for the next two weeks, minimum. I’ve already spoken to Miranda and set the owls to come here and she will pop over after work to bring today’s docket and tomorrow’s as well.”
“Mum, I’m sorry,” Rosie chimed in. “I saw what happened and instead of running to get Aunt Ginny I got upset and hit Jamie. I know it was wrong but – “
“What happened?” Hermione tried to keep her voice neutral for her older child, who was just like her Dad with her underlying temper. She wasn’t mad at Rosie and she needed to keep her temper in check with her child, who might mistake that Mum was mad at her, and not frustrated with the situation.
Rose looked at her Dad and he nodded before she turned back to her Mum.
“Everyone went outside to play, with Aunt Ginny watching us. Al and Lils were inside coloring and Hugo came out to fly around. Lils yelled and Aunt Ginny went back inside.” Rose looked at Ron and he nodded, prodding her gently to continue.
“Jamie and I kept playing Quidditch out back, throwing the quaffle while dodging the bludgers flying around while Aunt Ginny was inside making Lunch. It was so much fun, and we were laughing when either of us missed the Quaffle or got bumped by the bludger. I thought Hugo had gone inside with Aunt Ginny since I didn’t see him. Jamie flew down and plucked up a beater’s bat out of the box and said he’d take a swipe at them while flying and I said OK since it’s good practice for me, too.”
“You know how I feel about that,” Hermione said, “especially with Aunt Ginny not keeping a close watch on you while you’re doing it.”
“I know,” Rose replied. “I thought she’d be inside only for a few moments.”
“Ok, go ahead.”
“So the bludgers were flying around and Jamie had his beater’s bat out while also throwing the Quaffle at me from time to time. Anyway, I told Jamie to wait a moment because I wanted something to drink. I heard him laughing and then I heard a thump and saw Hugo on the ground and his broom broken. I didn’t know Hugo had come back outside to fly some more. I looked up and saw one racing for Hugo. I ran towards him but couldn’t stop it from hitting him in the head before bouncing off. I ran back for my broom and raced up to where Jamie was. He looked boggled that another bludger had hit Hugo. I… I flew into him while on my broom before taking his beater’s bat and hitting him with it.
“Aunt Ginny came outside and saw Hugo on the ground. She dropped the tray of sandwiches and pumpkin juice and ran to him, yelling at us to get down on the ground, that we needed to go to St. Mungo’s.” Rose held her head down. “I know I should have gotten her first, but I was so upset that Jamie did that, and laughing about it.”
“I don’t fault you for being upset but you know better. No quidditch this weekend for you. A small consequence for how you acted instead of going to get Aunt Ginny should be sufficient punishment. Besides, your wrist will be sore for a day or two anyway, I reckon, hitting Jamie with the beater’s bat.”
“Yes, Mum.”
Hermione looked up at her quiet husband. “What are we going to do about Jamie? This isn’t the first time he’s been a toerag towards Hugo.”
The fireplace roared to life and Ginny was inside the flames. “The Healers are finished with Jamie. Can we come through? He needs to know what his punishment is for what he did today.”
Ron and Hermione shared a look, not bothering to look at Rosie. “Come on through,” they said in unison.
The fireplace roared high inside the hearth and Albus stepped through first, followed by a tidier Jamie, followed by Ginny holding Lily Luna to her chest. His face was still bruised but his nose was fixed and the blood removed from his shirt. Within moments they were all free of dust and so was the den.  “We won’t be staying long. Jamie has a very long list of things he has to do as punishment for what happened today.”
“It wasn’t intentional. I was aiming for Rose. I -“
“Enough, James!,” Ginny’s voice was quiet, dangerous, and one that no one wanted to cross.
“Did you tell Hugo he could come outside with you?” Ron asked first.
“Well, yeah, at first. Mum had been outside and it was nice and then mum went inside for a minute and Hugo was having fun on his toy broom while Rosie and I were playing Quidditch.”
“He’s six years old, James.” Hermione’s voice brooked no insolence. “He isn’t to ride his broom without supervision, ever. Did you not understand that?”
“No,” his voice grew quiet. “Mum said it was OK. I didn’t think – “
“No, you didn’t. You didn’t see Al or Lils on their brooms, did you?”
“No,” he said again. “But he had been riding earlier so I thought it was ok.”
Ron stood before James, towering over the lad. He was in his Auror stance, looking like he was ready to fight with his bare hands. “Why did you hit the bludgers at Rosie? I gave your parents that set, as a gift when you turned two.” Ron huffed. “I know that set. Grandpa, Uncle George, and I charmed it so the bludgers wouldn’t be brutal unless you hit the bludger with a bat. The first time you hit that bludger with a bat, it disabled the charm.”
“We’ve done it before. No one got hurt - “
“It’s no excuse, James,” Ginny said. “You know the rules - no beater bats unless an adult is outside with you. It’s one reason why you’re being punished - for being reckless while playing.”
“Didn’t you bother to see that Hugo was in the way?” Ron’s Auror voice had come out. “Do you think it’s funny picking on him? We know this isn’t the first time he’s not tattled on you. He’s six years old. He’s a child compared to you.”
“I wasn’t aiming at him. It was an accident - “
Ron took a step forward. James backed up into his Mum, standing almost as tall as her at 11. “An accident is you falling off your broom. An accident is dropping a glass of pumpkin juice because you weren’t paying attention. No, you chose to swing the beater’s bat and hit it at Rosie, even if you didn’t intend it to hit Hugo, it did, and it hurt him terribly.”
“I didn’t mean to! He was having fun with us, playing Quidditch.”
“Bollocks, James.” Ron’s temper seemed to be erupting. “He’s never expressed a moment’s interest in Quidditch, unlike Rosie. Didn’t you realize that?”
“No,” his voice was whiney. “We thought he - ”
“There’s no we to it, James,” Hermione cut in. “She says she told you she was landing to get a drink of juice and heard you laughing and saw the bludger hit Hugo in the head.”
“Bullying kids is never funny, James. Ever. It’s unacceptable behavior from anyone, much less you. I’d have thought better of you when it came to being kind to your cousins.”
“He doesn’t know,” Ginny said under her breath. “We’ve not told them.”
Ron crossed his arms but stood there looking ferocious. He spied Rose at the edge of the hallway, listening intently. Al and Lils were there with her.
“I’m sorry,” a small tear leaked out.  He refused to look at any of the adults but stared at their shoes.
“I don’t think so, James,” Ron interrupted. “I don’t think you’re sorry for hurting Hugo. I know you’ve done it before and you were let off with a warning. But not this time. No, this behavior is unacceptable in this family, but especially from you. You’re eleven and starting Hogwarts in a month. You’ve gotten your letter and are expected to have some level of maturity, even for your age. Mistreating small kids is behavior that other toerags do,” Ron snorted before hearing Malfoy under Hermione’s breath.
“He’s already grounded for the next month, Ron,” Ginny added. “But beyond that is up to you and Hermione.
“What do you think, Hermione?”
She turned back to her Godson. “James, look at me.” He looked up but refused to make eye contact. “I said look at me, James Sirius Potter.” He finally did and Hermione saw the fear on his face. “You hurt Hugo. He’s in his bed asleep and can’t come to play at all for the next two weeks because of your mindless behavior. He might need longer to recover from your thoughtless actions. You picked on him for whatever reason, after we as a family have told everyone that he’s to be treated a certain way. And yet you, for some reason that isn’t important now, decided to be careless  around him. We already know he’s not told on you for previous things because he adores you, or did, and didn’t want you to get into trouble.
“But you are in deep trouble now.”
He shuddered slightly.
“But I also think that you aren’t sorry for what you did, only that it was worse than you expected and got in trouble for it. No, you chose to hit those bludgers in his direction intentionally. Whether you were aiming for Rosie or Hugo doesn’t matter. Your impulsiveness hurt someone. I’d be furious if you had hurt Rosie, too.”
‘I’m – “
“Don’t say you’re sorry until you actually mean it,” Ginny spat. “You’re only sorry for the consequences impacting you.” She took a deep breath and let it out. “Go home and get me your broom. Now.”
“Mum?” James looked at her.  “My broom? What are you going to do?”
“You’re already in trouble. Questioning my judgment will make it ten times worse. Go get your broom, now, James.”
He ran for the fireplace and tossed floo powder into it, disappearing in the green flames.
“What do you have in mind?” Ron asked.
Ginny stood there pondering a moment. “Until he shows some real maturity, I think losing any and all flying privileges on his broom will suffice. He will hand over his broom to you and so he can’t nick it like I used to do when no one was looking.  I also think that it might be smart that he is not able to try out for the house team for a couple of years.:
Ron took a deep breath, like he’d been holding it in. “If he thinks he can get away with tosser behaviour this should break it for good. Merlin knows how relentless Fred and George were to me.”
Ginny’s eyes narrowed. “Let’s make it two years.” She turned to look at the window next to the fireplace. A small sigh escaped. “I’ll owl Minerva this weekend and let her know. Not being allowed to try out until he’s a little older would be a benefit. First years aren’t allowed to try out anyway so two years will make him the start of his third year so he should be mature enough. If not we can have it extended.”
“Ok.” Ron slumped slightly. “Hermione can decide on when he’s allowed to use his broom again. I won’t interfere.”
“Neither will I,” Ginny added.
James ran back through the fire to where he handed it to his Mum. Ginny turned and handed it to Hermione.
“James, for hurting Hugo – “
“I didn’t – “
“Yes, you did. I’ve seen it before. I watched you with Fred laughing when Hugo was being picked on.”
“I’m sorry,” he whimpered.
“No, if you were you’d have not done it.” Hermione’s fierce stare made him bow his head. “We’ve discussed what is acceptable and what isn’t.”
“You don’t pick kids younger than you. I know we’ve taught you better.” Ron’s disappointment was evident.
Ginny stood there, resolute. “You’re grounded from flying for the rest of the summer. You’re also losing your broom until Aunt Hermione says you can have it back.”
He spun, facing his Mum. “No! That’s not fair!” He turned back around and saw his Uncle staring him down.
“Fair is following the rules set down – and that was that Hugo is to be protected, not picked on.” Ron gave a piercing look, freezing James’ protests. “Aunt Hermione and I will keep your broom, until you prove to us that you can follow the simplest of rules, of which is You don’t pick on Hugo – ever. You hurt him, James, and that’s not something that a mere I’m sorry will fix. So, until you prove it to us, you’re grounded from your boom. I know Rosie won’t share hers, not with what she’s heard.”
“No! Not my broom. It’s mine!”
“No, now it’s ours, until we decide to return it to you.”
“I am writing to Headmistress McGonagall, to tell her you will not be allowed to try out for the house teams for an additional year, since first years aren’t allowed to try out.”
“Two years!”
“You hit him twice, this time. The consequences for hurting Hugo and laughing about it should be severe.”
“We think that you need time to learn empathy, to treat those who you don’t respect with kindness, and respect, by not bullying them, ever.”
James let a sob out before covering his face and running for the fireplace. It flared for a moment before settling down.
The adults stood quietly for a moment with the rest of the kids present. “Rosie, go back to your room. We’ll be in shortly.” Rosie nodded before doing as asked.
“She was punished too, right?”
“We have. She’s grounded from her broom and quidditch, too. Just not as long, but for hitting Jamie afterward and not running to get you first.”
“Sounds fair,” Ginny looked at her other two kids. “How about we head home and the two of you can play more. Jamie will be grounded for quite some time.  But you two know better than to pick on Hugo, right?” Two very enthusiastic nods were her answer.
“We’ll see you Sunday, even if you don’t come for Sunday lunch. Harry and I will pop over to have a few with you and bring leftovers if you don’t show.”
Ginny gave Hermione a hug and received a light pat on the shoulder from Ron before stepping to the fireplace hearth. “I am sorry for James’ behavior. He knows better and I know when Harry finds out, he’s going to blow his stack over it.” She looked at her two younger children. “It might also be time to sit this bunch down and explain a few things.” The adults shared a look.
“I’m sure once he knows everything about the consequences of the incident, he’ll calm down. We don’t want James turning into a toerag like Dudley was growing up.”
Ginny shook her head. “No, we don’t. Love to both of you and my nephew, too.” Al went first through the fireplace before Ginny pulled Lily Luna close to her and spun away in the flames.
After they left, Ron went to the cooling cabinet for a cold pumpkin juice and brought Hermione some water. “You think we were too hard on him? Two years is a very long time when you’re that young.”
“No, I think it’s just right. Ginny only banned him from Quidditch for the Summer and she only banned him from trying out for the house team until the start of his third year.  She didn’t say he couldn’t fly on a family broom, only that we would hold his broom until he proved he’s mature enough to get it back. He’s free to fly but not on his prized possession or playing the sport he loves.”
Ron necked the bottle of his juice. “You think it will work?”
“I think it’s a fair and just punishment for hurting Hugo, even accidentally. We don’t want a repeat of the incident ever again.” Ron opened his arms and Hermione melted into the embrace, finally feeling the tension from everything that happened today melt. She stifled a sob but felt Ron’s arms tighten around her.
“Everything will sort itself out, Hermione. You’ll see.”
“I know.” They stayed hugging for a long while, both lost in their thoughts on their precious son.

I'm here to request a prompt, but I understand that you are busy and focusing on the Fake It Til You Make it fic (wich I'm loving <3), so I'll understand if you take time to write it but, here it goes: it's always been said that the Cannons haven't had a big win in a long time, so could you write Ron's reaction when they finally win after all this time? It'll be a plus if Rose is there cheering with him *.*
Hi anon! Thank you so much! It took me a bit, but here is your ask! (I have been working a lot on Fake It in the meantime, so more updates on that soon!)
I’ll admit it worked out that I saved this one, since Ron’s birthday begin’s in my time zone in just under two hours. So, anon, here’s your fic, just in time to wish THE Ronald Weasley a very happy birthday!
***************
Cannons' Big Win
Hermione leaned against the doorway, watching Ron and Rose listen to the wireless. Four year old Rose loved quidditch just as much as her father. She begged her parents to skip her nap for the day so she could listen to the game, and Hermione had obliged, but only because Ron promised to deal with her crankiness that would no doubt set in later on.
The Cannons were playing in the qualifying match that would determine if they’d be going to playoffs for the first time in decades. Things had finally turned around for Ron’s favorite team, and Hermione couldn’t help but secretly root for their success as well.
The announcer could barely keep up with the speed of the game when all of a sudden he stopped mid commentary and switched directions. “What’s this? Has Jones spotted the snitch? He’s off at a dive and—by Dumbledore, I see the glint it’s there! Aaaaaaaaaaand Jones has got it! The Cannons have won and will be going to the playoffs for the first time in seventy two years! This is incredi—”
Hermione couldn’t help but smile as the announcer’s voice was drowned out by Ron and Rose’s cheers. Thank goodness she put a silencing charm so they wouldn’t wake Hugo.
“We did it, Rosie! We did it!” Ron said, picking up his daughter and swinging her around the room. “I knew they could!”
“Go Cannons, go Cannons!” Rose chanted as she clapped her hands in delight.
Ron made his way around the couch to where Hermione was standing and drew her into his arms, too. “I know you’ve been waiting a long time for this,” she said through a giggle. Their excitement was contagious.
“A long time? I’ll say! More like my whole bloody life! This is brilliant! Can we owl for tickets? We have to go, Hermione!”
“Yes, Mama! Can we please go see the Cannons play?” Rosie begged through puppy dog eyes.
Hermione kissed her daughter on the forehead. “I had a feeling you’d say that. You can save Pig a trip, though,” she said with a smirk.
“What do you mean?” Ron asked as Hermione pulled away from his embrace and walked over to her briefcase.
She pulled out an envelope and handed it to him. Inside were three tickets to the playoff game that the Cannons had just secured their spot for. Hugo was still too young and would stay back with Molly and Arthur. Hermione thought Rose was also too young, but she loved quidditch so much that there was no way Hermione could prevent her from seeing the match.
Ron managed to open the envelope and pull out the tickets with Rose still on his hip. He looked up at Hermione. “You really bought these already? But you didn’t know that they’d win,” Ron said.
“No, but I knew if they did, you’d want to go, so I purchased them in case. If they lost I could have sold them, but I don’t have to worry about that now, do I?”
“Not at all,” Ron said as he drew her in with his free arm to kiss her. “Love you.”
Hermione grinned. “I love you, too. Think of this as an early birthday present,” she smirked.
“Best early birthday present, ever!” Ron agreed as their celebration picked up once more.

Day 2 of the alphabet challenge - B is for Bath
This is a more wholesome take than I think the prompt intended but I’m not mad about it 😊
Bathtime
Hermione was grateful that Ron had volunteered to wrangle both kids for their bedtime routine, but if she had learned anything from all their years together, it was that too much quiet in a Weasley household could only mean trouble. Her three favorite redheads had been upstairs for nearly an hour, and she was just beginning to wonder if she ought to set her book aside to go check on them when Ron shouted her name and made the decision for her.
She raced upstairs to the kids’ bathroom and took in the chaotic sight in front of her. Rose was still sitting in the tub, crying. Hugo was by the sink, toothpaste all over his face, crying. Ron, inexplicably, was laughing. And all three of them, along with much of the room, were covered in soapy water. “What’s going on?” Hermione asked urgently.
Ron swept her up in a wet hug and kissed her cheek. “Rosie did magic!” he exclaimed. Hermione peered over his shoulder at their daughter.
“What? Really?”
At four, Rose had just reached that age where they were sort of always on guard for bouts of accidental magic to begin, but their caution had been for nothing, until now.
“Why are they crying, then?”
“Well, er...” Ron set her at arm’s length and reached for a washcloth to wipe Hugo’s face. Hermione took a towel from the rack and wrapped it around Rose, lifting her from the bath. “Rosie said that she was a big girl who didn’t need her rubber duck at bath time, so I set it on the counter, but then Hugo took it, and, well, we couldn’t have that apparently,” he rambled. “And somehow, Rose turned her bath into a monsoon over it, and here we are.” Hugo now attended to, and both kids down to just the sniffles, Ron cast a drying charm around the room before turning his wand on himself.
“Okay,” Hermione said slowly, carefully toweling Rose’s curls. “But why is she crying?”
“Daddy yelled,” Rose pouted, burying her face in Hermione’s neck.
Hermione frowned at him, but Ron shook his head. “I didn’t yell at her,” he clarified. “I just got really excited and I think I startled her.” He opened his arms, and Hermione shifted Rose over to him. “I’m sorry, Rosie,” he said gently. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”
Rose raised her head to look at him, her lower lip still trembling. “But I made a mess. You were mad.”
“No, sweetheart, you made a magical mess, and I’m not mad at all. See, it’s all cleaned up already.” Ron gestured around the room, and Rose seemed to calm down as she looked.
“I did magic? Like you and mummy?” she asked hopefully. Ron nodded and kissed her forehead.
“Just like me and mummy.”
“Dare I ask how far along bathtime was before the tidal wave?” Hermione asked, watching them with a smile.
“Eh, we were almost done, weren’t we, Rosie?” Rose nodded eagerly. “Enough time to spare for a story before bed, don’t you reckon?”
“Stowy!” Hugo cried excitedly, the watery accident now apparently forgotten.
“What d’you say, Hermione, want to join us for a bedtime story?” Ron asked, leaning over to give her a kiss.
“That sounds lovely.” She hauled Hugo into her arms and followed Ron down the hall to Rose’s room, the four of them settling in for a quiet ending to the magical night.

“Stress Relief”
Summary: Ron and Hermione have some fun with each-other on Valentine’s Day.
Tagging: @princesserica84
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Read on AO3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Warning: The following fic contains scenes of an s*xual nature and is not ace safe.
Hermione awoke gradually, in that way she always did on mornings when she didn’t have to work. Weak February sunlight was reaching into the room.
The bushy-haired witch sat up dimly in bed, rubbing her eyes.
Rose and Hugo were both over at the Burrow for a few days, on Ron’s suggestion. The kids had been excited to spend time with their grandparents, and Hermione had certainly not objected to spending several days alone with Ron, even if she did miss her kids.
Speaking of which… where was Ron?
Sliding her legs over the side of their large king-size bed (Ron had loved the pun), Hermione could distantly hear the sounds of plates being loaded up downstairs, and then the gradual creak of the carpet on the staircase.
‘Hey, sleepy head.’
Ron looked, as ever, utterly gorgeous. His red hair was tousled from sleep and… other things they’d gotten up to last night.
Hermione smiled, both at her husband and at the memory.
‘Morning, handsome,’ she said, as Ron walked into the room, carrying a tray laden down with breakfast food. ‘Not like you to leave me alone in bed.’
‘Wanted to get breakfast sorted,’ Ron said, his ears flushing a little at her flirtatious tone. ‘If I’d woken you up, we would have never gotten out of bed.’
‘True,’ Hermione giggled, propping their pillows up against the headboard. ‘But what’s the occasion?’
‘Fourteenth of February,’ Ron said, sitting down next to her. ‘Don’t tell me you forgot it was Valentine’s Day? After everything we got up to last night?’
Hermione pressed a kiss to his cheek.
‘Forgive me, love,’ she purred. ‘I guess my brain got disengaged from getting so thoroughly ravished.’
Ron’s adams apple bobbed in his throat.
‘Hermione,’ he whispered. ‘I thought you’d be hungry for food, not for me.’
‘What can I say?’ she giggled, feeling his pyjama bottoms begin to swell. ‘I like to switch things up occasionally. How about you? Hungry for me?’
As if in response, the breakfast tray was banished to the floor nearby. Ron’s wandless magic tended to react to strong emotions.
Hermione squealed happily as Ron flipped her onto her back on the mattress, before pressing his lips to hers.
‘You know it, Mrs Granger-Weasley.’
The look in his eyes was so warm and caring that Hermione tangled her hands in his hair, pressing herself against him. With a knowing chuckle, she felt Ron throb against her.
Pulling away, Ron scrambled backwards, and grabbed the bottom of Hermione’s nightdress.
‘Now, let’s get this pesky thing out of the way…’
Hermione’s eyes fluttered shut as Ron pulled her nightdress up to her midriff, his hands sinking into the soft flush of her thighs. Ron seemed to have rather liked the changes her body had gone through after having two kids. He said she was… what was it… curvy for days?
Not that she was complaining. He certainly wasn’t. As he was making very clear with what he was currently doing. Mmmm…
‘Oh… god…’
Chuckling to himself, Ron fingers began to trace patterns along her skin, as his mouth began pressing kisses to her lower stomach. Hermione felt her chest begin to heave, the lacy pattern of her night attire clinging to the perspiration that was now covering her skin. Merlin, she loved the way Ron could send her into blissful oblivion with such expert handling. He really seemed to know her body so well. Which made sense, after almost a decade of marriage.
‘R-Ron…’ she gasped, her voice breathy. ‘Y-yes… ohhh….’
‘Hermione…’
With a husky growl, Ron pulled her knickers down her legs. She heard the sound of the material being dropped off the bed.
Hermione squealed again, as Ron’s tongue began to explore, sending delicate shivers up her spine as one of his hands drifted up her torso.
‘R-Ron… wait, let me…’
Sitting up slightly, Hermione hurriedly pulled her nightdress over her head, and threw it aside. Now completely naked, she fell back down on the mattress. Her eyes flipped over, to see Ron throwing his pyjama bottoms aside. He towered over her, his eyes glittering with passion.
‘Merlin, you drive me wild, Hermione…’
Her chest heaving, Hermione spread her legs.
‘Now, Ron… hurry!’
Ron surged forward, and Hermione gave a gasp as she felt herself be filled. Her legs curled around Ron’s back, as she pressed herself closer to him. Fuck. This was something that never got old, no matter how much time passed. He loved her, and she him. After almost ten years of being married, and over five years of dating before that, they really did know each other inside-and-out. Which made moments like this especially brilliant. Ron knew exactly which spots to hit, and she knew what got him going too.
Fuck, she loved him.
‘Oh… Ron… fuck…. god…’
‘Hermione…’ Ron moaned, one hand sinking into the flesh of her arse. ‘Yeah…. fuck….’
Their lips pressed together, as one of Hermione’s hands became entangled in his beautiful red hair, the other clawing into his back in an effort to get even closer to him physically.
Hermione felt the fire of passion burning through every molecule of her being. God, this was amazing! Fucking amazing!
‘Ron… y-yes… keep… keep going…’
‘Y-you almost there?’
‘Y-yes… almost…’
‘M-me too… oh, fuck… ‘Mione…’
Ron gave one last thrust, before he exploded inside. Hermione gave a deep moan as her own orgasm erupted through her, her legs clamping tightly around Ron as he continued to buck against her.
Slowly, their breathing eased, and Ron pressed a kiss to her forehead.
‘Damn…’ he breathed, wrapping his arms around her waist. ‘We’re getting better at this, aren’t we?’
‘Definitely,’ Hermione gasped, relaxing against him. ‘Must be not having to worry about the kids knocking on the door halfway through.’
Ron chuckled, easing himself out of her, and sitting up against the headboard. Picking up his wand from the bedside table, he summoned the breakfast tray from the floor. Hermione sat up next to him and took a plate that he passed along to her.
‘Well, I thought that was rather a nice way to wake up,’ Hermione said, snuggling into his side as she began to chew on her slice of toast. ‘Very good stress-reliever.’
‘Definitely,’ Ron said, putting an arm around her and not-so-subtly cupping one of her breasts.
‘You are a tease,’ she giggled, enjoying the feeling of his expert hand against her areola. ‘Anyone would think you were trying to keep me shagged out all day.’
‘Says the person who seduced me after I made them breakfast,’ he retorted. ‘Besides, we’ve got all day to ourselves. After we’re fed and watered, how about we enjoy some more stress relief?’
‘I’m not sure…’ Hermione said, slowly, as she chewed. ‘I mean… we did get rather sweaty…’
‘We have a magically-extended bath,’ Ron said, knowingly. ‘And we do have that sudsy stuff we got each-other for Christmas...’
Hermione giggled, as Ron warmed her coffee cup with his wand and handed it to her. Stress relief was definitely a good thing. Especially on Valentine’s Day.

FIC
@cassiaratheslytherpuff wrote We Keep Loving Anyway [Albus Severus/Scorpius | Explicit | 7.1k] After Albus finds out Scorpius is part vampire he can’t stop thinking about being bitten. He can’t stop thinking about Scorpius in general, but that’s been the case since he was fifteen. At least, when it comes to Scorpius he’s used to not getting what he wants. He’s happy with what he has, or at least, comfortable. That is until he accidentally asks for it, then it all starts to change.
@polly-darton wrote The perks of Veritaserum [James Sirius/Teddy | Explicit | 5.1k] James drank a long-lasting version of Veritaserum and is miserable and Teddy is having the time of his life. That is, until they’re both having the time of their lives.
@gracerene09 wrote Thunderstruck [Charlie/Teddy | Explicit | 2.6k] There’s not a lot for dragon tamers to do when stuck inside during a storm, but looking at this particular new recruit―well, Charlie can’t help but think of a few ways they could pass the time.
Quentin_threepwood wrote Hair Today, Hair Tomorrow [Albus Severus/Scorpius | Mature | 1.7k] Away on a book tour Albus Severus Malfoy grows a very creepy mustache, much to the horror of his still at home husband Scorpius Malfoy.
vitruvian8008 wrote Mission in Nairn [Draco/Lily Luna | Explicit | 7k] Lily Luna Potter is paired with Draco Malfoy for her first Auror Mission. On their last night, she decides to act on the lingering tension that had been building up between them.
@nerdherderette wrote No Other Alpha But You [Albus Severus/James Sirius | Explicit | 7.1k] Scorpius Malfoy has applied to be Albus' heat partner. There's no way James is letting that happen.
@aneiria-writes wrote The Scorpion King [Albus Severus/Scorpius | Explicit | 3.8k] Scorpius Malfoy, AKA the Scorpion King, has ruled Britain ever since his father turned his sights to conquering Europe. With his right-hand man and most trusted advisor, Albus Potter, Scorpius has a life of elegance and power. But he's had enough of the beautiful women that usually grace his bed. Scorpius has decided he wants something else in bed. Something more. Scorpius Malfoy wants Albus Potter.
@motherofmercury wrote Islands of the Upper Air [Lily Luna/Luna | General | 1.5k] Lily Luna has never liked her namesake, or her strange and sometimes absurd way of looking at the world. But a weekend full of ancient rituals and mountain forests is an eye opener, in more ways than one.
@shipperysails-bookofspells wrote Expecto Patronum!! [James Sirius/Teddy | Mature | 45.7k] James Potter had always known exactly what he wanted; to open a pub of his own, maybe travel the world, and live a simple life with the only man he’d ever loved. For years he waited, quietly determined to help Teddy see what could be between them. But just when everything he’d ever dreamed of was finally within his reach, it was ripped away in an instant. With Teddy missing, and presumed dead, James is left to pick up the pieces. John has no idea what he wants. He doesn’t even know who he is. But when he hears a strikingly familiar voice – on an otherwise ordinary day – he sets out to discover everything he can about the man that occupies his dreams. And Harry, well, Harry just wants to put his failures behind him. Until a series of unexpected events forces him to reexamine a case that he’d given up on solving. With the help of an unexpected ally, he just might find the answers he’s been looking for.
@lovealpenglow wrote lily's potter [Lily Luna/Lysander & Lily Luna/Draco | Mature | 8.3k] "But what if I keep it? What’s the contingency plan there?” She took a seat next to Lily. She spoke slowly, as if she was thinking about it for the first time, too. “Well, I mean, you keep your baby. You raise it. You love it. It goes on to do wonderful things because it’s a Potter.” Lily snorted. “It’s a Potter?” “Why not? I mean it’s just as much you as whoever is the father. Why shouldn’t it be a Potter first?”
@micheleblack wrote Snaked a Claim [Albus Severus/Scorpius | Teen | 1.6k] Everyone knew Albus was gay from age five when he would dramatically swoon every time Goncalo Flores the Quidditch player was mentioned. Twenty years later and Harry still tells the tale - much to Al’s embarrassment.
@ladderofyears wrote And I Fell Heavy (Into Your Arms) [James Sirius/Teddy | Explicit | 9.1k] When James Sirius Potter travels to America for three weeks, the turquoise-haired Healer Teddy Lupin misses his boyfriend very much indeed. Luckily, Teddy has (sexy) floo calls, charmed obsidian pendants and hastily made chastity promises to keep him busy. Based on the following prompt: Absence makes the heart grow fonder... Right? Smutty phone!sex? Longing letters? All up to you!
@veelawings wrote Dirty Duelling [Albus Severus/Draco | Explicit | 6.1k] Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want (Or — fucked up Dirty Dancing with wand fights)
@eleonorapoe wrote Albus’ Private Lesson of Sex Education [Albus Severus/James Sirius/Teddy | Explicit | 4.5k] Albus has some doubts about sex. Luckily he has an older brother, who can initiate him. How does this lesson go? James will be the teacher, Albus his good and obedient student and Teddy will be more than happy to serve them as a learning tool. In which a delicious Teddy sandwich is served.
@faeheyjesper wrote Four Reasons [James Sirius/Teddy | General | 8.1k] There were a couple of things James should've considered more seriously before coming back to work at Hogwarts as the new Flying Instructor. His dad being the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor there, for one. The fact that he hadn't really flown since a career-ending injury had put an abrupt end to his Quidditch fame two years ago, for another. His ridiculous, teenage crush on Teddy Lupin, his friend and Hogwarts' newest Charms professor, perhaps most of all.
@26timesbrighter wrote An Interlude [Lavender/Victoire | Explicit | 4.9k] Victoire is supposed to be chasing a serial killer, not shagging her uncle’s dead ex-girlfriend.
@drarryruinedme7 wrote Mint & Apples [Harry/Teddy | Explicit | 4.3k] Teddy Lupin's not-quite-wolf has chosen Harry Potter as his mate, that's all. He hasn't got a crush on his best friend's father, really. He also definitely isn't obsessed with Harry Potter's scent.
crazyparakiss wrote This is Love [Albus Severus/Scorpius | Explicit | 24.8k] Most of Albus’s bad life decisions can be summed up in a word: James. When he got a shitty tattoo in the Fifth Year—done by some bloke in a dirty flat—well, that was James’s idea. When he got picked up by Aurors for doing hallucinogens—James was the one who’d convinced him to do them at a party. That time they stole the flying motorbike Dad gave to Teddy—James was the one who insisted it was a rite of passage to drive it over London at dawn. Neither Dad nor Teddy was impressed with that explanation. Now, here Albus is living another bad choice that was born of James’s influence.
@gaeilgerua wrote The Balance Between Studying and Relaxing [Rose/Teddy | Explicit | 3.7k] Rose has been studying non-stop for her upcoming barrister exam. With Hermione attending Hugo’s Quidditch trials for moral support and Ron away on business, there’s only one person available to keep an eye on her. And Teddy is only too happy to take the role.
@r00wscribbles wrote The last ones to know [Albus Severus/Scorpius | General | 5.2k] Albus and Scorpius have a very close relationship. Everyone can see it. Perhaps they are the last ones to know jus how close they are.
@ohdrarry wrote You've Got A Second Chance (You Could Go Home) [James Sirius/Teddy | Teen | 16k] “What about James?” James, dear Merlin, not James, not again. His boy, his son, the brightest star in the constellation of Harry’s patchwork family, not him. “I think he’s relapsed.” – They tried this when James was nineteen and Teddy was twenty five. It crashed and burned. Teddy ran away to Finland and James... well Teddy's about to find out what happened to James, now that he's back two years later.
@maraudersaffair wrote Falling for You [James Sirius/Scorpius | General | 1.2k] Scorpius didn't care about Quidditch until he saw James Sirius on a broom.
@diligent-thunder wrote Heart-Shaped Ottoman [Draco/Teddy | Explicit | 6.3k] Draco has had interns before, but none so bothersome as Teddy Lupin.
@whenshereads wrote Living With Our Eyes Half Open [James Sirius & Scorpius | Teen | 5.5k] James didn’t mean to get his brother-in-law kidnapped alongside him that morning, but that is definitely what happened.
@shiftylinguini and @gracerene09 wrote Faim [Albus Severus/Scorpius | Explicit | 9.6k]  "So, this is the city of love!" Scorpius declared, adjusting the straps on his backpack. Albus wrinkled his nose. "City of pigeons, more like," he corrected, stepping around another fat, grey bird Or: Scorbus go to France.
@articcat621 wrote Unexpected [Lily Luna/Pansy | Explicit | 1.2k] Draco and Harry's engagement party brings about an unexpected, but not unwelcome, event.
@fidgetyweirdo wrote Remember to Forget [Albus Severus/James Sirius | Mature| 17.5k] The moment they kissed, James and Albus knew that they'd never be able to live without this -- too in love to walk away. Years later, and well into adulthood, the possible repercussions of their relationship feel very real and very scary. Without the strength to break it off, they're left with a single solution: a company that specializes in erasing and altering memories. Now the only thing left to do, is to say goodbye.
