Hey, I had a thought for the fantasy au! So on one of the previous versions of the WH website, there was a rhyme for the show that went:

A house is a place with four walls and a floor,

with a ceiling above and a lovely front door.

There's a bed to cradle you safely at night,

and windows to bring in the morning sunlight.

Your house is a mirror of just who you are,

A reflection that tells you to never stray far.

Which I thought might make a good incantation for when Wally properly summons Home (I can't remember if that's ever required for Warlocks but hey, it's still a fun poem regardless).

thinking about espio “overly dramatic and a fan of the traditional way of doing things, probably including romantic gestures” the chameleon and silver “massive fan of gardening and plants and nature” the hedgehog. something something silver loves flowers and flowers are a very customary romantic gift

espio would make silver a bouquet and go out of his way to choose flowers specifically for their meanings, and silver would actually know what all the meanings are and find this to be the sweetest and most romantic thing anyone has done ever. espio will be riding this high for months.

generation 3; eris grimm-shariq - she/her - gloomy, overachiever, loves outdoors.

granddaughter of eden and dima and the estranged daughter of heidi, who was born into the world as a rare combination of vampire and spellcaster. this type of hybrid status is incredibly unheard of among the occults of the sim nation. unfortunately, she never had the chance to know her mother, neither did her mother remain in contact with her father. because of this, eris was raised by a spellcaster couple who agreed to protect her, and eventually help with the discovery of her estranged mother.

now, eris finds herself on a journey of self-discovery, exploring the world before deciding on a place to settle down. her ultimate goal is to create a safe haven for vampires, and perhaps even seek out more hybrids like herself. at the very least, she hopes to share her knowledge and skills to start a new lineage of magical vampires.

*notes: i sadly lost the save and tray files for eden and heidi, which genuinely left me heartbroken as they were some of my most cherished sims, and i really enjoyed playing their legacy. i didn't want the legacy to die however, so i had to come up with the circumstances mentioned above which unfortunately means eris will never actually meet her mother nor eden, but i can always bring dima back as fortunately she was provided to me by the lovely @teaprose!

If Awakening was longer, would we get more of Justice's confusion with sudden change of the realm? How different is it of an experience for him to go all physical compared to that one spirit in Inquisition complaining that nothing is listening to it when it tries to bend them to its will? If he felt the same, would he do an awkward war cry before doing some weird movement that would work as an attack in fade terms but is just funny here? Would he randomly try to hand you stuff expecting them to form out of nowhere so he would end up just giving you the palm, out of habit?

I've reached season 5 on my CSI rewatch and I'm a few episodes past "Swap Meet", where a woman is murdered after attending a swing party with other couples from the neighbourhood. Near the end of the episode there's a moment that made me jump from my seat:

Right after Erin ends her sentence with 'girl at the office', the first time Sara and Grissom meet again, he brings her tea. This might be an innocent interaction but to me it seemed like a nod to this relationship they have where both are into each other, know about the other's feelings, but can't/won't do anything about it (although Sara has kind of given Grissom an ultimatum). I don't know if it was intentional - I'm guessing it is, because I picked it up immediately. I might or might not have squealed in delight.

today is my 10 year anniversary of coming out as trans (by email. to the only openly gay friend i has at the time)!! it's crazy to think that I've known I'm trans for almost half my life :O if little 12 year old Tam could see where I am now I think his mind would explode from how confident in myself and my gender I am (and from how many incredible queer people I know and love!!). If you're a newly out trans person, or youre questioning your gender, this is your sign that things DO get better and people will love and accept you for who you are no matter how weird and nonconforming your gender expression is <333 I'm so so grateful especially for my internet friend community, who've taught me so much about how to be trans in ways that work for me and also about the power of fagdyke solidarity.
