Thoughts on what If Mikako was Kokoyuri's Child?

(I assume this is the same anon, if not that's a real coincidence)

I love love that I seem to get a fair amount of asks about Yuri, but they're almost all anon. We all love the dork but no one wants to admit to it haha.

Under cut, spoilers for both games.

So like this was actually super hard, so if I'm way off I apologise.

So firstly, Mikako would look quite a lot different if Yuri was her father. As we know that Mikako's appearance takes a lot from her father's side, not Kokoro's (She has her father's hair and eye colour, her fathers height, and his fringe). So assuming that Yuri's chapter 6 design is canon, Mikako could remain being a tall queen. But she'd have Yuri's hair and eye colour.

(Changed the colour palette a little to contrast the lighter hair, but colour combos are hard so I'm sorry it's a mess)

That said, 5'1'' Mikako would be adorable too!

So let's talk about their home life. Since a lot will have to change there. The first is obvious, that Yuri would never allow any harm to come to his own daughter. So the experiments Kokoro does in canon aren’t happening to Mikako.

However, I don't believe the two of them would be winning any awards in parenthood. Mikako would be loved though, very outwardly by her father, and more reservedly by her mom.

Kokoro is harder to judge as a parent, because (I personally) believe that her treatment in chapter 0 was... weird. It's hard to gauge what kind of parent she would be if her partner had an actual backbone (idc what people say about Kokoro but Sojiro was equally responsible for what happened to Mikako). I'd like to think that with proper guidance she'd end up trying her best to be a better person and relate to others. That said, Yuri isn't exactly a perfect person himself, so there would likely be a fair amount of back and forth in misunderstanding.

I feel Yuri would be prone to spoil Mikako, but I think she'd be real honest with the both of them, as even if she did something wrong Yuri would be fine with that, and Kokoro would be more interested why she'd act out rather than disciplining her.

I wonder if Yuri's prejudice against men would rub off on her, if so she'd probably still be friends with Rei, but probably not Yamato or Tsurugi. She would definitely not bother with helping Tsurugi with his world views, as being a male she'd already have that prejudice and she'd likely believe that he would just be beyond redemption.

I think people like Rei and Kanata would scold her for this a bit. So like the rest of class 79b, she'd probably mellow out a little over the course of their time at HPA.

Her relationship with characters like Kizuna would be real interesting, since she'd want to believe girls are faultless, but experience with her mother would allow her to read people. Which would mean she'd see just how messed up Kizuna is. She'd probably work really hard to try to make her better.

She'd likely drop kick Mitsuhiro out of a 3rd story window. Man and she can see bad intentions? He wouldn't stand a chance.

So an interesting thing is, in DRA, Mikako is the one to convince Yamato to give Utsuro and Akane a chance after his initial suspicions. In this scenario it's unlikely that they're even friends, so Mikako wouldn't be the one Yamato confides in. He'd likely confide in Tsurugi instead, and I can't imagine either of them giving the despairs a chance or helping them escape on the day of the tragedy.

There's a chance that, on the day the rest of the class would pressure him into taking them, but it's interesting to think about. But it's cool to think that they could make it out without the two that would turn their safe space into a killing game.

If Yuri and Kokoro survive the tragedy, there's nothing on this Earth or beyond that would keep him from his daughter.

And ofc, without Kokoro's research and experiments on her daughter, the second game would turn out very differently.

I don't really have much up for it, mostly b/c it deals with a lot of angsty material that i can be a little uneasy about posting. I have a bit of old concept art, and an unposted fic i'm editing/rewriting (b/c it's the first fic i wrote for Rise and i did not have those character voices down lol.) I can probably post the first bits of it later this week. I did say at one point that i would once 'proud family tradition' was over, and it now is.

but yeah, here's the concept art, i'll put the explanation under the break b/c i'm going to be rambling lol.

So Donnie vs. takes place after the thwarted apocalypse (not-apocalypse future). They get taken by Bishop a few months afterwards, and it isn't until about a year after that, that Donnie gets free.

He's the last one still with Bishop at that point, and had been told/convinced through various means that his brothers were dead.

Bishop did a lot of experiments on him, leaving a lot of scaring. One of which was injecting him with Krang DNA to see what would happen. (the eye and veins thing. I think he has some side effects from that but i'm not entirely certain what they are atm)

The fic itself starts after his rescue, b/c i'm focusing on Donnie's search for his brothers (and his own recovery) Rather than the traumatic event itself.

The rescue itself, was certainly a rescue. April, Casey, and CJ worked together to get him out of there as well as gain whatever information they could before they were found out. (Casey went undercover and was able to get some incomplete files and help get donnie out before she was discovered and had to leave.)

donnies in...pretty bad shape at that point, mentally and physically. Physically, he's malnurished, injured, scared, the works. Bishop did a number on him in the year he had him.

Mentally, he's pretty much shut down. He's completely non-verbal, unresponsive most of the time, when he does respond it's very slow and seemingly difficult for him to do so. He describes it that it feels like he's behind several plates of thick glass. He can see and hear what's happening, interacting (or even just feeling anything about it) is very hard to get past the glass.

How he goes from that state to hunting down his brothers is fairly simple. One of the broken, encripted files Casey acquired was Leo's file. None of the three could open it, but they managed to get Donnie to try to do so. He manages it, sees the file, and for the first time in about a year, has hope. He doesn't even wait to show the other three, he just takes off while no one was looking, with April's laptop and CJ's coat (he steals a backpack along the way.)

I don't really want to say much past that. A lot of the rescues/reunions are pretty spoiler heavy, and i don't want to ruin some of the mystery of what's going on in the fic. But know this, he does get all his brothers (and family in general) back. Also, splinter is alive and is part of this, but again, that's spoilers for some things i don't want to ruin.

Again, i'll probably start posting this sometime this week. It's an interesting fic that i've put quite a bit of time into at this point, so i'll be excited to see what is thought of it.

UPDATE ON MY LIFE N ALL.

tw: death mention/cancer.

I've been incredibly busy those last.. weeks I've had my surgery so it's gonna take at least a whole month to heal, news about my mother that will most likely die before the end of this year, it's almost has been confirmed with the doctors. Medically there's nothing that can be done for her cancer she's condemn. And I began having the biggest art block of my life rn, I think it's linked to my mom's situation tbh, I'm unable to draw anything. On a better note I began to go to therapy and I hope my therapist will help me ease everything.

With a lot of luck amongst all this and unrelated, I won a pass for a con I've attended yesterday, took a break from it today and going back tomorrow not cosplayed. I had the opportunity to put back my Jean cosplay which I will show you some pics of and a video. ✨️

Amyway it's a bit of a tough time, I saw some of you all messages I still need to answer in my ask box, you have no idea how much I appreciate them, I just have a hard time keeping up with every social media I'm on atm (twitter/instagram/facebook/tumblr) thanks for understanding , and thank you for the messages💕💕💕 and be patient for an answer 🥺💕

SO. mirage and wattson, i think they are so CUTE with such potential but i like them because of how.... contentious they could be? i guess! Like Mirage likes to talk in silly colloquiallisms and turns of phrase that i think would make Wattson ask "explain that?" a lot and therefore like. Force him to speak more truthfully and upfront (something he is DOGSHIT at doing) and i feel like that makes them SUCH A GOOD COMPATIBILITY???

Also engineer couple.... so brilliant, working off of one another, sharing a garage to tinker in. SIGH i used to think about them a lot more (no real reason i stopped, just time, really) I think he is really good at Being near someone and chatting and cuddling, and i think Watts would really benefit from a cuddlebug partner in any reguard..... My actual DNI has been removed, as I feel it's for the best. With my generosity and some flexibility, I'm taking the following one shot requests.

As of now I write for:

I’ll only take Chris/rpf requests sparingly, based on the merit of the idea itself.

I’ll dabble into dub-con depending on the request and how I feel about it. I’m all for kinks but I’m not good at writing them aside from the usual line of desirous acts (I.e., breeding, bdsm, role play, consensual voyeurism). Ask and I’ll let you know if I can work around the requested kink.

Otherwise I like to be pretty clean with my writing. Nonetheless, this is still a 18+ blog because I do reblog mature/sexual content and sometimes I read dark subject matter but that’s just how I curate my experience on this app.

I try to be considerate for the most part and just as a reminder my works of fiction have a lot of cursing/foul language, crudeness, sexual innuendos and I write very standardized, surface level smut - think of Shakespearean like soft porn. It’s art.

So my heeding advice is to take what you’re willing to benefit from my blog and unfollow if you feel like the content I share isn’t right for you. I’ll totally understand and there’ll be no hard feelings in the end.

do you have a writing schedule?

No - I write when I want to write and it’s as simple as that.

Also I’m not invested (nor am I interested) in writing a full length series at the moment so a lot of my works are based around requests and my own dwellings.

will you consider writing a series?

Maybe a mini series. But in all honesty I’ve learned in the past that when you start writing a full blown 20+ chapter series you sometimes become devoid and indebted in the process which then makes the art of writing a chore; not so much fun and downright arduous. But there’s an important takeaway and that is; I don’t owe anyone my creative talents just like many of you don’t owe me your time.

So that dissolves the whole point of why I don’t write longer, elaborate pieces simply because I can't commit to a crowd that’ll always want more or less. And truly I’m only in this for me, myself and I. But again if inspiration hits I might so who knows! Never say never right?

so how often will you post?

I’ve been stagnant with posting, partly due to my own personal convictions. I do do surprise drops when I feel like it but for the most part I’m a moody old writer who’s going through her bouts - not really a creative block - but just some reluctance to write and post, that’s all.

Side note: Just to be mindful, I do this for fun and sometimes I might not get around to completing each and every request if I don’t feel inspired by it. My life does get busy, I am a working adult with a 9-5 job so I’ll be factoring all that in and whatever time I have in between.

Hi, I'm a big fan of this blog, the thing is, is this acc dead? You guys haven't posted in a while and I hope I'm not pressuring you guys. Take your time though, it's okay 😊

Hey there!! I’m @princeanxious and i’m the only one running this blog atm. ^^

So, the flat answer is no, this account isn’t dead, it’s just that i’m in a sort of, creative rut as it were? Art block, writing block, whatever you want to call it, i’m in the middle of one of those, and am also dealing with some health issues that aren���t making things any less distracting, yknow?

And because i’m not the brightest cookie when I am feeling creative, i’m sort of in a position where I’m primarily running my main account with tons of little aus, art, and fics that aren’t big/extensive enough to have their own blog yet, I’m also running this sideblog, and 5 other sanders sides au sideblogs on my own, and thats not counting the two that i’ve finally shelved temporarily bc all inspiration for those two has left.

I’m currently in the middle of writing three different fics for this au, its just that i’m having to work incrementally on all this different projects as I work my way through my art block, so i’m sorry its been so silent!! I’d answer more asks but alot of them entail more of the creative story telling that this au rewuires and maintains so it’s hit or miss most days on whether i can get myself into the required creative zone for it.

I’ll try to update when I can, but i’m bound to have some periods of silence as I try to work through stuff in life and my collective of creative projects ^^;

#yes- i am aware that i have alot of creative projects. but the good news is-i’ve stopped myself from consistantly making more- #-which was where the original issue lied y’know? #so the collective aus i am working on may seem like alot but i’m content to keep it at that amount to stay consistantly varied yknow? #it just ends up being that each blog kinda suffers from silent periods at a time. the only one that doesn’t is my main blog #feel free to check up there bc i’m most active on @princeanxious
