When Teresa actually takes the opportunity to kiss Thomas for real, on her own accord, he feels nothing. Sparks flew when it was the planned one, but now? My boy is so broken

It sucks too cause I really feel like Teresa genuinely wants to be closer than ever with Thomas now that they've made it past this whole betrayal thing, but Thomas really needs space. She broke his heart.

Knowing Thomas, he'll probably come back round to her again, but there will always be this air of tension and awkwardness and hurt between them now. I think the last time Thomas was this hurt was when Chuck died, but that was a whole other type of pain.

I also don't think he can look at Aris the same way again either. Sure, it may have been an act, but he got to kiss Teresa soooo many times. On top of that, they actually were talking telepathically in the Maze!!!! Literally, when Aris tried speaking to Thomas, Thomas kept refusing and speaking verbally to him instead bc it felt like an invasion of privacy. That was a thing between him and Teresa only. The telepathy is an intimate thing for him, so knowing Teresa spoke so much to Aris (WITHOUT TELLING HIM!!!!) while Thomas refused to speak to Aris just adds another layer of betrayal. Really, it's stupid bc the two of them were in a coma for a long time so there wasn't much else to do (and Teresa literally said she doesn't remember most of their conversations) but obviously Thomas is gonna interpret that differently AFTER thinking they were dating.

herbert west is simultaneously the smartest guy and also a fucking idiot. he managed to create something that can restart your brain but decides its a good idea to 1. use it on the guy he just decapitated and who hates his guts 2. injects both the body and the head with reagent and proceeds to only focus on the head. dude repeatedly reanimates corpses that has been only violent and hostile towards him in particular and he is somehow surprised every time

and its even funnier cause like. hes alive in the sequel and its never explained how he got out of that shit alive. last we saw him he was getting choked to death by some guy's insides and then he's. just here. this is how its gonna be and we're just moving on. no time to waste on things like "plot holes" and "on screen character deaths being undone" we've got places to be! bodies to reanimate! women to be sexist to!
