I feel like the only good biopics are the ones that either fully admit to telling a fictional narrative or parody the genre altogether like Walk Hard or the Weird Al movie

agreeeee. the thing about those is that they werent trying to be oscar bait (obv. kinda impossible to be oscar bait if ure doing a parody of biopics). thats kinda the big problem w biopics imo, esp recently they always feel like the typical oscar bait movie thats gonna get nominated by virtue of being about some famous guy alone. + i think we should lie about famous ppl more and biopics only do that in the most boring way imaginable
