so how's picky like in your intermission au? it's pretty obvious by now that porky's an immature slimey huckster who needs to be knocked down a peg in it but how does his 17 year old brother compare to him? he does seem to be aware of the nonsense porky tries to pull, so does he learn from his older brother on How To Not Act When You're An Adult?

Picky is literally just some kid who's trying his best, while his dearest relatives perpetually cannibalize each other around him, and it makes me so fucking emo on a primal level. The concept of One Decent Person caught up in a family of absolute ghouls, who loves his brother & parents unconditionally, but realizes with age that he cannot change who they are, much less save them from themselves?? Augh. God!!!!

Intermission Picky - who'd rather ya call him Peter - harbors a lot of increasingly bitter sentiments toward Porky. Learned to be meek and avoid trouble in his brother's shadow, only to end up an awkward avoidant people-pleaser by the time he's a teenager. Hates conflict, struggles to muster any self esteem, gets anxious whenever he's having a good time 'cause he still expects Porky or his folks will somehow ruin it for him. Peter's got a personality like a wet piece of cardboard, and now that he's old enough to recognize why, he absolutely hates it. He makes meager efforts to stand up for himself, which his family usually answers with mockery. He likes spending time with Tracy & Ness, and high school friends, but feels an awful gnawing jealousy in his guts when he recognizes how "normal" their families are by comparison. He learned from his brother that crypto schemes and reddit stocks won't earn him a living, yet given his shitty upbringing, he's kinda terrified he won't have the social skills to cut it at a "real job." Nonetheless, he's trying his desperate darnedest, 'cause he knows there's no other way out for him. Kid's having a very, very rough time being seventeen 😢

Deep down Peter wishes so achingly bad he could convince his family to see the error in their ways. He never wants to stoop to their level, and feels horrid whenever he catches himself thinking hurtful thoughts & repeating their behaviors. Aspires to be more like Ness - easygoing and selflessly kind - even though he lacks the emotional experience or support to do so. He keeps trying to give Porky & his folks second chances out of the sheer goodness of his heart, even though it keeps blowing up in his face. One of these days he'll have to give up, and try to figure out how to be a real person separate from all that trauma & drama. (Whenever I get around to it, the next Intermission AU fic is probably gonna be The Picky One 🥲)

older!Tom Grant seems like the kinda guy who wouldn’t buy his own wifi router… He’d rather just bum off of his neighbour. Tom could absolutely afford to buy his own wifi set up, but he’d simply rather get wifi for free… even if that means having to deal with wifi that he gets locked out of every few months (until he manages to guess the new password correctly and get himself reconnected) and that drops him the minute he sets foot into the side of his house that’s furthest away from his neighbour’s place. He’s frugal to a fault (at least when it comes to actual household necessities… he spends much more frivolously on his hobbies and interests).

What's in the Shop?

Quite a few liquid-core chonk d20s at the moment! All of them are currently 20% off from now until May 14th!

There are also a few new things Coming Soon! These are some limited-run dice and some production sets are in the works!

Also some raw mystery dice may be coming soon! I still have to work out the logistics of that one, but it looks like it would be 2 standard d20s and a d6. These would be straight from the molds, so some mold lines and minor defects may be visible, but all that they would need to be usable would be some paint in the numbers if you don't mind some minor defects (this is how a lot of my personal dice are!)

I'm also hoping to re-open commissions soon! My goal is to have them open up again in the beginning of May!

#In my au the crying child kind of accidentally helped kill Charlie lol. He pushed her outside and locked her in the rain. Tee hee #And THEN. He went to go check on her because he felt a little bad since Sammy was going ballistic #and accidentally witnessed the last bits of his dad murdering Charlie. He then hides and was going to wait for his dad to leave but #Since OBVIOUSLY will needs to dispose of evidence he was going to stay there. So he kind of. Went over to his dad and they had a mutual agr #Will in return started treating him “better” and also stopped using him for experiments (as much) and instead tried doing remanent stuff #And then Mike and Elizabeth got kind of envious (this was also their father subconsciously pitting all three against eachother ) #so then they started to bully cc #Sammy comes into play because he also kind of helped cc push Charlie outside because Charlie was deemed “the favorite” and Henry truly #Never bothered to try and care for Sammy. This is not saying he treated Charlie good either #but. He treated her VISIBLY better than Sammy #and Sammy looked up to William (this is actually kind of relevant and is the reason why security breach and help wanted exist because… #Sammy saw William and his work as amazing and even when he figured out he used actual children for his stuff he continued it needlessly. #He usually spent more time in the Afton household than his own which is. Quite sad. William actually thought of him as the perfect nephew/ #Apprentice and taught him in his ways. He’s as old as Micheal #and also the Freddy bully. Jeremy is also later tasked by William to distract Micheal in any means possible from what Will is doi #Ximena’s life was essentially theatened and in order for will to ensure the animatronics don’t target her Jeremy was forced to distract mik #Even though he was still grieving for his sister and grappling guilt over cc. Mike also was somewhat mean to him sometimes and Jeremy a #Babysat Elizabeth sometimes. By distraction William never clarified so Jeremy kind of went for a romantic ish approach.
