OOOOOOKKKEEEEEEYYYYY AU IDEA
Youtuber Diana.
This could work both in canon universe and in non magic au. But I like more the second one
First off, why Diana created a chanel?, After some months that Bernadette passed away, Diana steps in the room were her cousins were doing a live video about make up, y'know rating the products, joking and a LOT of gossip, well Diana didn't notice that Marril and Merril were recording and they didn't hear Diana in the room bc she usually knocks the door.
But their subscribers notice Diana awkwardly looking for something and they point it out and Marril and Merril are like: !!!!???? They turn around and face Diana and tell her to go away but the subscribers suddenly like Diana enough to tell the twins to let her stream with them, so Diana stays. And the twins clarify that the reason they look similar is because they are cousins.
At first it was the twins doing Gossip and Diana correcting them on dates or reminding the people's name, their gossip end so let's say Marril, did not want an awkward silence so she pulls out a chair and says to Diana :" Sit here, and tell us some high school gossip girl"
Diana is confused, but goes and sits down with them sheepishly, struggles to recall some nice gossip from Hannah and Barbara and she success, and stars talking. Becoming more outgoing every second.
D: So yeah, my friend walks to us and says" I knew if someone was going to ruin my chances of being a cheerleader was that mathafuckin' backstabber of Susan" while sobbing so we comforted her
And my other friend was like:" Are you just gonna cry about that!!!? , Queen that's not how things work, stand up, pick your crown, and go and break her nose!!!"
Merril: Hold on, is Susan we are talking about? Naaaahhh, she has the ugliest nose I ever seen, breaking it will probably put it in the right direction, so it was most likely a favor to her lame ass
D: Exactly!! I thought of that at the moment so I suggested that the next day, we go and sneak in the cheerleaders club, look for her personal bottle of water and put some laxative on it, we did just that and it worked. Barbara made it to be a cheerleader replacing Susan
Marril and Merril:WWWAAAIIT WHAT!!? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US THAT!!?
D: I wasn't asked*giggles*
And that goes on and the video ends, it was the most liked video, so the twins offer Diana to stay for other videos and she accepts
So Diana for some time was just a guest in the videos, everyone loved her for her snarky comments
Marril: And then we went to a Denys parking lot and fought each other, I win of course-
D: Bullshit guys!! They fucked her up and her "friends " recorded her ass being beat!!
The twins: STFU!!!!
But Diana and the twins relationship actually improved since that day, Diana find out the twins were in fact really funny and fairly nice people, and the twins noticed that Diana wasn't a disgrace and disrespectful idiot like their mother described her, The twins in this Au are not cool with their mother behavior but acts like they are so they use that chanel as stress -free time, and after discussing it they made Diana an account. She deserves it, after all she was the worst treated by Darlyn and needed to relax.
After those news , Diana was super excited but, where did she start??, The twins guided her and say she could do anything, and Diana say " like talking about books!!!?" And they are " Yeah talking about books like the nerd you are"
Diana recorded in her cousins room bc she didn't have a phone, so in one birthday (Diana's fourteen) the twins spends their savings in all the things Diana needed so she could do her own videos in her room, ofc Diana stills walk in her cousins room to tell them how ugly their eyeliner is, and the twins walks in Diana's videos to call cringe her books, overall they end up having an awesome relationship.
Ok, what does Diana upload in her YouTube channel?
She has some variety, at first it was Diana rating, criticisings and recommending books, but the twins advised her that she shouldn't stick to one thing, the main of her channel is still books, but she does the same with series and movies, and sometimes comparing the book version with the movie/ series version, she has history sumarrys too, that is her favorite subject and was surprised to find out many people struggles with it so she did those videos to help and discretely infodump, she also has reactions to history channel and their conspiracy theories in those she also shares what she knows, plays retro games, probably cyber bullies "Autism speaks"( what a queen -) and share videos were is just her, or in companion with the twins, pranking Darlyn.(is still Diana so those pranks are really harmless but funny, except if the twins are around, they wanna spice it up)
Her subscribers LOVES her, bc of her logical analysis of things, bc the way she is so excited to share things she loves w/o feeling like she is boring someone, her humor that switches between bad puns completely harmless to really dark humor, Diana being Diana
"OOOOH, so let me guess, Akko finds her channel and is surprised watching Diana Cavendish acting like that and things turn into enemies to lovers"
Nah, the first person that finds out about Diana's chanel is Wangari, she finds this pure gold and was about to exploit it but Diana tells her to not do that, they end up in a deal, Wangari doesn't tell anyone about that chanel but Diana has to give her interesting gossip, this could easily turn in a comedic were our serious looking girl goes everywhere to find Gossip so the don't reveal her secret identity
But ofc this have Diakko, one day Diana was bored and finds out that one of the series she was doing a review got a game, she clicks in out of curiosity, the one that was playing was akko and Diana's heart skips a beat, she is so cute and for what!!!!!????, And lucky for her Akko was studying in the same school but in another class, now Diana has to deal with Wangari and the overwhelming feeling of a first crush
Dia is the type to read all or the mayority of comments, and at first she didn't give likes to any, even though she highly appreciates them, but the twins told her she should do it, it was a way to make your subscribers know you appreciate them, and she was like really!!??, And since then she likes her subscribers comments and even reply and thank them for their support, besides her cousins snarky comments , Wich she likes and reply, there was this nice suscriber that was since the beginning and Diana highly appreciate it and gets sad if it wasn't in the comment section and gets happy when she finally spots their comment.
To the surprise of no one, that was akko from other account, reason idk, her computer is full of Minecraft mods so she has to use her phone .
Anyways Diana sees Akko every day walking past her locker( pun intended) and when she finally asks her to a date Akko was like: Ah finally, I was starting to think you would never tell me, don't get me wrong I know you love a good romance book and I know you lowered your standards for me and that's cute so thanks , so what about if we go to the cinema and I buy you ice cream, sounds good?
Diana was about to pass out but success to mumble a yes, Akko says that is settled but before she leaves tells Diana:Oh yeah, and I hope the next video is you rating our date I would love to know we're you wanna go next one, and with that Diana successfully pass out. Akko carries her bridal style.

Or Akko is playing and Diana is in Akko's bed reading a book and not looking above it she is roasting akko for losing, and Akko tries to not cry bc she is losing and her gf is roasting her, anyways Diana stands up and gives her cheeks kisses as a reward when she wins

Ties or Bhrianna shoes?
thank you Hannah! I'll do both, why not :)
Bhrianna shoes is for the microfic challenge, and I decided to do shoes for her. I don't have anything written yet, but I wanted to write about Bhrianna at the Spire, growing very tall and needing new shoes? She'll go ask Sero for some and I want there to be a joke in there about needing socks too.
Ties2 - this is a continuation of Ties, which is very spicy and I wrote quite a bit ago. I had an idea for a continuation. It's a future/DA4 timeline; and in the first story Iwyn tricks Solas into giving her the coordinates to his camp/outpost, and she is going to try and sneak in there - using an eluvian Merrill has stolen.
A dialogue snippet under, because it does feature some nice dialogue? (not explicit)
“Did they work?” Dorian asks, and gets up.
“And the plan, Boss? Did you seduce the information out of him?” Bull says seated by the fire, big and comforting.
“I did. I have the coordinates.”
She sits down, and she pulls off her wet boots and socks, and tries to get the feet warm.
“What happened?” Dorian asks.
“When do we start,” Merrill asks, looking tiny next to Bull.
“I backtracked through a stream. I don’t know how fast he will get free, or his magic will get back. I want to get going soon, but I need to rest a little. Maybe an hour.”
“I didn’t mean the boots – but according to my quite meticulous and accurate calculations it should last between four and four and a half hours. You have time for rest, and we have time to be gone.”
“That’s a long time to be tied up,” Bull muses.
“Solas is not a normal mage. He’ll find a way to get out before that.”
“No concern for you lost paramour? Did you steal a kiss at least?”
She grits her teeth. She really doesn’t want to talk about it. At least Merrill is quiet – as much as she likes the woman she is still much more a stranger than Dorian and Bull. She has been curious, but respectful about her relationship with Solas, and she is glad she at least isn’t prying.

Jewish singers of Western classical music
Compiling this list — the last in this series for the foreseeable future, although I’m well aware that there are others that I could do — has been a frustrating experience.
What I’m looking for, ultimately, is self-identification, which isn’t always forthcoming. And you can’t always trust Encyclopedia Judaica, which follows Israeli policy in determining Jewish status, i.e., one Jewish grandparent makes you Jewish, no matter what. (This is settled law in Israel, and it’s caused no end of trouble.)
Also, I’m not willing to knowingly include here the likes of Alma Gluck, who was a practicing Christian Scientist for most of her adult life, nor Richard Tauber, a life-long, if largely nominal, Roman Catholic who was bewildered to learn, in 1933, that he did in fact have a Jewish grand-parent. Since I’ve tended to err on the side of caution, there may be artists who should be on this list but aren’t.
You also won’t find here a number of artists whom my instincts tell me must be Jewish, but who are being, or were in their time, insufferably coy about it. (Jake Arditti, Beniamino Gigli, Jonas Kaufman, Selma Kurtz, Margarete Matzenauer, Jakub Józef Orliński, Annie Rosen, Regina Sarfaty: I’m looking at all of you.)
I’ve had to be vague about birthplaces in some cases, because some of these singers were born in jurisdictions that either no longer exist or whose names have changed. (Poland didn’t exist as a nation when Rosa Raisa was born there, and I don’t know what part of Poland — Austrian, German, or Russian — she came from.)
What applies to the earlier lists also applies here: I’ve included many of the younger ones solely on the basis of reputation, without having heard them. Not all are or were A-listers, but they are all people who sing or sang Western classical music for a living, or taught others to do so, or a combination of the two.
And finally, I should point out that while stage names are now a rare phenomenon in classical music, they were fairly common in the past — especially for singers! (Richard Tucker was born Reuben Ticker, for example.)
