He stands awkwardly in the doorway to Dell’s workshop before finally clearing his throat quietly to get the other man’s attention, a thick knot of anxiety forming in the pit of his stomach.

Dell inclines his head at hearing the man clear his throat but doesn’t acknowledge him immediately, seeming to be preoccupied with a contraption of sorts.

“Jus’ a sec.” The Texan drawled in his thick accent, putting away the welding torch and slipping off the welding helmet he wore. He pinched the tip of the yellow glove’s finger that he wore and pulled it off, setting it to the side, his other arm tucked neatly away in his hoodie pocket behind his coveralls.

“What can ah do for ya, pardner?” The man asked as he turned around, goggles reflecting the lights above, eyes hidden behind them.

Dell was mildly surprised to see a Sniper, the first one he had seen since arriving back on base. It wasn’t the one he worked with, but Dell wasn’t complaining.

oh wait . no hang on — !! i almost forgot that i recently started gardening :D i figured if cooking or baking isnt my strong suit , i might as well try something else in the meantime until i get the hang of it without meringues help . . although , i suspect shes been tampering with them so they would grow 🤨 . . hmph , at least i know she means well . so far i've only got strawberries ( i got the seeds from a nursery in turffield and they were oddly expensive for some reason 😞 ??? ) but im planning to grow more once i'm confident i can take care of more than one !!

. . which shouldnt be that much of an issue 🤨 but i have to meal prep for like 15 different pokémon , so we'll see
