one piece fans shitting on the new episode and calling it over-hyped because there wasn't a ton of fighting just don't get it. and honestly it makes me wanna burn the entire shonen community to the ground so we can have a fresh start.

what makes gear 5 so crazy is how its the culmination of all of one piece's themes put into one power-up !! its about liberation and freedom and laughter !! if you don't understand the importance of those things then you just don't understand one piece. but no. anime fans don't give a shit about a good narrative. they only want to see cool fights and big boobs. and this episode didn't have a ton of either so it must be bad.

I put so many details into this, it is absolutely silly, but I had a swell time doing them. Those headshots on the missing posters belong to the staff from our own Bendy project @howdy-folks-its-showtime and we didn't even intend to make two versions. tbh i think that even unwinnable fights should be winnable. some of the BEST fights i've ever run as a dm were ones i built kill the players (in a fun way. I had some cutscenes prepped so even the loss would be a different flavour of win)- but then they were clever bastards and managed to either win the fights or pull themselves out of trouble. I think it's perfectly fine to plan for a fight that players aren't supposed to win, but you need to let them. if they can't win, they can't lose, and the meaning of that encounter is diminished. do that too many times, and they stop trusting you to give them roleplay prompts and start expecting to sit there waiting while you drive the story for them.

but if they can win... if there is always the chance to win, no matter how impossible the odds, then they ALWAYS have hope. they always get invested. they feel the big emotions of success or the big emotions of failure, and you fucking Win as a dm/roleplay prompter/lead bastard.

it sucks to have to be scared to update the game, no matter the size of the update, because you have no idea if it's going to break your game or not (not to mention going through the process of updating your mods)

also like. life update. since coming to college i think i've decided i want to be less online in general, because i don't think it benefits my mental health to be on any online website too much. i know i still have strong ties to fandom and whatnot but i'm trying to reconcile my relationship with the things i've created knowing the headspace i was in when that happened; cs is more of a diary to me than anything, at least where i'm at currently. i DO want to be on discord more this break because there's people i want to VC and catch up with-- but ultimately i think i'm like exactly the worst kind of person to operate with any kind of stability on the internet so we're going to mess around with what that looks like for me for a while. love u guys and once finals are officially up in two days i'll be back to say hi :]

All I want is a computer that doesn't lag on community lots

#playtesting my own community lots is nearly impossible 😭 #no cc in my game and 5 mods - two of which were just TOOL and Better Build Buy like it should not lag this bad #It's my laptop and I know that. But it's just so irritating #I wish sometimes that I had a different hobby but this game IS my biggest hobby. I love the sims and I love playing #I would have gameplay posts out the ass if my computer loaded community lots and large households without lagging severely #but as it is now it isn't even enjoyable to play #I just build and dress up sims that I can't even play with #and the games are already expensive as is but then you need a great - ultimately expensive - operating system to play them on.
