eren is on straight tiktok with a sprinkle of like funny videos and a sprinkle of like informational videos (he skips these though) and a sprinkle of alt tiktok... a slightly diverse king, and he only gets off of straight tiktok when sasha and connie start clowning him

levi does not have tiktok. when you send him them they go to the web browser goodbye.

armin is on the tiktok with like the rlly creative people who bake and draw and do arts & crafts and make candles and shit, somehow this dudes tiktok is AESTHETICALLY PLEASING??? he has a few informational videos here and there too!!!!

jean is also on straight tiktok but on straighter tiktok than eren rip. connie and sasha always clown him also but he’s liked so many videos it’s hard to get off😩

hitch is on the selfcare tok, with occasional motivational videos, REALLY PRETTY GIRLS, people showing off their outfits, occasional crystal & zodiac videos, a tad bit of alt tiktok and a tad bit of straight tiktok here and there. she has like a perfect balance tho idk what she did

Demons, yes! That’s what imps are: basically any demon, devil, or generic monster, but tiny! Even a couple of pop culture critters in there, there’s probably a very small gillman or robot monster running around there somewhere.

Just saying it will do! It’s based on those old werewolf stories where calling out the person’s name will change them back into a human/cure them, and a lot of the time it was by accident.

(My favorite is the one where they slam the door on the wolf’s tail and then say his name, and the dude ends up with a wolf tail for the rest of his life.)

this is super rushed but whatever!! ill redo it later! late 2000s/2010s fashion just wasnt it, i remember all those ugly graphic tees and dont want the pain of drawing em ♡ i dont think i posted the 2nd pic but: concept s/i that also went to law school but actually stuck w/ it for a while.

do i know what this guy does? not really! but theyre one of spencers only adult friends and idk why but i kinda wanna name them jamie or sumn.

ive been having a few thoughts on how they meet/know each other. ive been on a childhood friends to lovers trend, i just think its neat! I imagine Spen//cer moving around a few times in his childhood just bc his dad was a military man. So they had baby crushes but yknow, grew up!

But i can also imagine theyre just friends through art n stuff - different mediums, different levels of passion, but both parties are kinda himbos n mean well theyre just on sumn else.

I love making my s/is 'tiny but mighty' which usually leads to me making them a bit intimidating - it contrasts well with spencers very tall stature + sunshine, golden retriever energy. My s/is posess a calmer, more serious, persona than i do to hide something more goofy to balance my f/os eccentric personality! but man, we all know im kinda All over the place qhshd.

Concept s/i attended law school and remembered spencer from his weird ass socks that he wore to lectures (the 3 days he was there, anyways). They weren't too keen on the whole idea of 'lying' and eventually dropped out of their classes.

Their role is the more direct n stern adult in the casts life i guess? As it always is here w/ my caretaking ass 🧎‍♂️Theyre the "Dont touch my kids." guardian and they show up to chaperone whoever it is that needs company and to clean up messes. Spencer has some knowledge of whatever he read in his textbooks that he kept from law school, and jude is the actual lawyer (certified or not). I have certain "scenes" in my head and yknow how Sam is pretty hotheaded and aggressive? My s/i can be the same way - its just nice seeing someone pretty relaxed and kind going apeshit yknow?

either way, Spencers way more extroverted than myself and constanty encourages them to pursue art the way he did - he means well, but yeah yeah. idk too much ab dynamics ngl

im just rambling so nothings very coherent or set in stone i just have thoughs sometimes. knowing me ill mash all the ideas up and baby vomit it back up and make them an absolute horror to think about!

Who's your favourite character besides Sasuke?

Mmm!!! Good question! I'm not into a lot of fandoms, but I do have a bunch of favs! Although, I guess I just don't stan them as much as I do for Sasuke. So in no particular order:

1. Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender

Characters don't always have to be good looking blokes okay. I love Iroh. I love every second he's on screen.

Its touching honestly. How his loss was the reason foe him becoming so humble. Like, just watch the end of The Tale of Ba Sing Sae, and tell me how you didn't hold yourself from breaking down and crying like a baby because of just how sad it was.

He's a humble character. Wise and philosophical even. Avatar's narration shows how both his neice and nephew were part of chold neglect from either parent. Azula was brought up by an abusive father, while Zuko was brought by a loving mother. And yet both of them were treated harshly from the opposing parent.

What I found good about him is how he actually tried to reach out for both of his brother's childre, indescrimnately. I won't deny how at certain instances he did favor Zuko more, but I will say one thing was that Azula was favouring her father from starting an era of oppression. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. I love Iroh.

2. Ren Hakuryuu from Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic

After Naruto finished, this was the guy I stanned. Honestly, this BABY. He's so pure abd soft at the start of the series and ends up becoming so mature. Although, what's sad to see is the character's moral degradation over time. Or at least that's what we are supposed to think.

In the world of Magi, almost all characters are moral grey. Aside from Alibaba and Morgianna, all the other characters have very contrasting prespectives on life and the world, yet they happen to be flawed, but right within the undersranding capacity of human limits.

Its probably what draws me to his story. Flawed prespective, yet strangly perfect and right. His mother was an evil witch who killed his siblings and blackmailed him using his sister.

He loves his older sister a lot, and she does too. Like its one of the most wholesome relationsjips in the entire manga. Do you have any idea how emotional that scene was when he became almost hopeless to sace his sister from coma? When he found out his sister got posessed? When his sister saved him from getting killed by the woman they called mother?

Anyways I love how he goes from being the crybaby of the crew to this big strong guy. None of these characters are maey sue ir gary stues, yet all of them are weak and unimaginably powerful at the same time.

3. Dead Master from Black Rock Shooter

5. Frakenstein from Noblesse

6. Aelita Schaeffer from Code Lyoko

Her story is like just so ???? Sad ??? Like hear me out. Aelita's father creates an AI, thinking that it'd be revolutionary, and how it would greatly benefit humanity. However one day when she was playing, she realized that her mother was being taken away, and she and her father had to be on the run to escape from the very AI that her father created.

All this happens during the time when she was too little to understand what ezactly was going on. Her life is destroyed. She's like 12. And the two end up transferring them selves to a digital world to seek refuge. If they die, so does the AI. Her life is really taken away at this point.

I'll brief in a bit more because this girl had to be homeschool because the death threat issue had been going on for a while underwhich they were being watched. Mostly because whatever information her father had was vital for updating that AI. She never had a life to begin with aside from her parents. After one was taken away, and the other presumeably dead, she's practically all alone.

And then 10 years later, this kid randomly comes up and boots up the server in which these two were and gives her a new life. New people. Friends and a family all together. How she gets a new life, and just grows from being a damsel in distress to this actually p badass girl who doesn't scream mindlessly in the name of danger. Yes.

7. Hatsune Miku

All I have to say is that she gave me RSI during exams, and I'm not even mad at her for it. Idk how I found her games, but I found her, got obsessed with her, then became what I became now.

I mean, there are so many iconic songs of her: BRS, Leven Polka (cover), Triple Baka, Kagerou Days, Love is War, Kyouchimuite baby, aaaaaaaaand a lot more.

8. Doctor Strange from the MCU

A neurosurgeon? A guy who can use magic? Someone fvcking relatable as a med student? Uh, sign me up. His movie was trippy as hell, and gave me what felt like actual glipmses to what seziures might feel like and how this movie was on literal drugs.

Like just how mind blogging was his story. He looses everything, all because of his over confindence and pride. From his hands, to his resources. This guy ends up taking a one way ticket to Nepal in search of a way to heal his hands.

When western medicine failed him, he decided to head east, only to find of out that nothing can ever truely "heal" his hands; but only just make it a little better. That ending was on all levels of heartbreaking.

On another note, this guy used his powers in like the most sensible way. Got hurt? Opens a portal to the hospital and asks his colloague for quick heal. Learns stuff easily. When asked how, he responds with "thats how I became a doctor". Like TRUE BRUV. ONLY THOSE PPL CAN BECOME DOCTORS OR EVEN SPECIALIZE WHO HAVE GREAT BRAINS.

9. Megumi Tadokoro from Shokugeki no Soma

She's like an airhead, a nervous wreck, a procrastinator, super anxious, yet a very strong, determined, and hard working lil' baby.

At times, she freaks out, and then improvises to cover her mistakes. She does her best to provide the most flavour out of her food despite the shear contrast between herself and the person she's match to fight against.

She knows her terf, and she knows how to use her abilities best. Just because her skills happen to be slightly less than the main cadt around her, it doesn't mean that she's someone of any less value.

This girl okay. She's so wholesome and adorable. Like, I'm glad that they don't downplay on her as a female character, after considering how this is an eechi series in its core.

Best of all, she doesnt let her infactuation with the MC get to her abilities. In fact, its something that gives her hope to struggle and compete with. The praise does make her extremely happy for days on end, but that doesn't mean she has to stop working hard. There's still a lot of room for improvement and I personally think that's one of her best traits.

Hence, I deem her to be Best Girl !!!

Are you named after anyone? no! fun fact: my cousin found my name in the boys section of the baby name book so dana is technically an androgynous name! (there just aren’t a lot of guys i know named dana rip)

When was the last time you cried? yesterday! owo

Do you have kids? no (i’m 19 :’D), my thing with kids is, in theory, i am completely neutral towards them, but the second i start talking to a kid, i get overcome with this weird maternal instinct and i’ll tear up out of nowhere because i want kids to be happy and i’m like “i wanna raise a child Right Now”? idk man

Do you use sarcasm a lot? surprisingly not often, but i do do that thing where i make up a completely absurd leftist stance on a topic and argue it with as much sincerity as i can muster when i debate Condescending Conservative Men. they all have a really bad habit of deciding that i’m a girl and therefore powerless in the face of their scintillating rhetoric, so i like to see how far i can take it before they realize i’m fucking with them.

What’s the first thing you notice about people? i’ll be honest, i don’t really notice people? i’m the kind of person that doesn’t normally seek out social interaction, and my facial recognition skills are terrible, so you’d have to be pretty damn memorable in order for me to notice anything.

What’s your eye color? blue! :D

Scary movie or happy ending? depends on the day, but more often happy endings! i don’t see the point in movies that don’t have happy endings (i mean, i do from an artistic standpoint, but from a personal standpoint, i’m watching the movie to feel good) i am really into certain kinds of horror though! like not really ghost stories or serial killers, more like demonic posessions or surreal horror? think of something like this house has people in it, lights out, or kelly link’s short story, stone animals. i’m not scared very easily, so it takes some pretty unconventional stuff to leave an impact on me.

Any special talents? i can roll my tongue into a three leaf clover! when i was a kid, i could also climb poles and stuff by gripping the pole with my thighs and pulling myself up, i did it either to show off or to hide, the adults were usually too busy checking under things to look up at the top of a lamppost. i haven’t had a reason to do it in a while, so idk if i can anymore.

Where were you born? long island, new york!

What are your hobbies? drawing, meditating, writing, and playing video games! i also want to get into gardening, knitting, sewing, and general skills to make my lifestyle a little more self-sufficient.

Do you have any pets? i have a cat! his name is crash (after crash bandicoot from the video games) but we don’t ever call him that.

What sports do you play/have you played? i’ve done ballet, soccer, basketball, and track! i don’t play any sports atm but i want to get back into running and maybe see if i can get some muscle mass back.

How tall are you? 5′8″ which is either kinda tall or kinda short depending on whether you see me as a boy or a girl.

Favorite subject in school? all of them english! i’m also set to be ceritified in teaching english to speakers of other languages, and i’m looking into getting a history certification as well! i also have a slight inclination towards science (i was going to teach physics before i switched to english), but i think i’m going to stick to the humanities. :3

Dream job? teaching! idk at what level yet, but either middle or high school, with maybe being an adjunct professor on the side, and a full time tenured professor/scholar and published writer in the long term!

i so i’m practicing military time now. and i feel like since i talk about my feelings so much on here, that i can spill them out here as much as i feel. i’m just craving for that interaction without intentionally realizing itts. so i replied back to two messages friday evening (to guys). and realized i want to talk to more girlfriends tooos but fortunately my friend Hannah works with me night shifts except she’s part time because of school. And I’ve been adding and have been added as friends by my colleagues at work. One of them who very oddly resembles my ex ex before bc tall and lanky and very sarcastic and very filipino and cosplays with his wife and friends 😅 and when we’re at work hes supposed to be the bedside shift report getting out of the day shift and i’d be the person he would report to bc nights.

And I guess because I’ve been updating my manager on things and letting her know my concerns and showing her consistency at work so far since my orientation training, I’ve also been updating my colleagues too but some of them (really only one or two of them 😒) enjoy gossiping about the other coworkers, mainly about my friend Hannah. It’s like you really have nothing better to do .-. Honestly if that patients were fine with her last night and only had one or two concerns that don’t involve YOU, and were just by their opinion or by pain even though your tech the previous night did everything they could and consistently ask for pain meds (even if theyre on scheduled ones AND not to mention even though I was on the brink of falling asleep the whole shift with only two hour sleeeps, I still saw and heard Hannah going in and out of the patients rooms during hourly rounding). On a serious note, this lady, Sylvia .-. she’s this thick african american accent who is also pretty new at work for about a month now from what my manager told me. She’s beautiful she’s this old lady with dark skin and hair braided and tucked half up/down. BUT, her manners during bedside shift report were not.

My point is, I can talk with these guys. We can be catty and shit talk about each other, as long as we’re still giving that care to the patient. I realized I’m still irritable if only having 2-4 hours of sleep a day, so I’ll try to take Tim’s advice (former uic classmate/ former one week or month crush/current friend ish who’s friends with Katherine 😅 bc out of the blue he messaged me a few days ago and we were talking about nursing and his passion for sticking needles into patients and drawing their blood lmao) and try to sleep RIGHT AFTER getting home from work and getting settled obviously. idk, I just naturally wake up at 11 or noon from those naps and end up going to sleep at 6. So i guess that would be 5 hours of sleep sometimes but broken up in between throughout the day. I would have to have my alarm set for 8;45. LATELY, I’ve been wanting to go to work at 9:30 and be there at that time and then clock in at 9:53, because of looking over the kardexes and seeing if theyre updated or not. Obviously my plains just end up with me coming in 3 minutes before 10 anyway :/ and just scribbling away patient info on my nursing sheets. And then try to jump immediately into bedside report. I think I’ll be more considerate and aware because I know the PT(patient) will want to sleep right after getting their VS and having used the bathroom, being repositioned, and feeling more comfortable in bed. Fortunately, most of the 13-bed patient rooms in ortho on my unit, are alert and oriented. Theres been times where we will get a few extra people who are diagnosed for GI bleed, Hx pneumonia or other iso precautions BUT along with an ortho surgical thing, or nausea, etc. Most of the time these extra patients can walk, and at night time just assist standby as needed and check on them hourly rounds and doing garbage and linens in between.

During the morning shift, our manager will be doing rounds on the patients and techs as well just like I’ve seen during my orientation training for mornings. She gave me a tip after orientation to make sure the room looks neat and tidy, even if they wanted to keep their linens in their room, make sure it all looks presentable, common sense etc. And then she’d go and ask how their night went, and depending if we’ve given them that care or not, then the most they’d complain about is just pain even if they’ve taken all their meds. And a tip she gave me for adjusting that pain, is maybe have a pillow underneath their surgical elbow to elevate it, or have a towel rolled up and put underneath the ankle/heel to relieve pressure. Offer to make sure their SCD’s are on and offer to reposition them. And the ones who are back surgicals (laminectomies) we’d have to make sure they get into bed safely and log roll them into position. So they’d have to trust their arms, elbows, and side of their bodies to maneuver themselves into bed, while we offer to support their legs or any part of their body to help them into bed. One of them the other day before my shift ended adn after bedside report, asked me if I would be working that evening again, and I told her sadly that i was off the weekend and she complimented me for my bedside care and was proud of herself that she was able to get back into bed and said her thanks for having given her a new gown to dress into because she was mostly sweating and getting cold/warm throughout the night. I had offered to change her linens at 3 in the morning because of a stain from her lower back dressing and made sure she knew that the nurse was informed also. And because she had her daughter come by yesterday there were a few chairs that kinda crowded the room so I made the space looked neater since she used a commode at the bedside.

I think I’m getting used to it it’s been a first week for me on the floor without a preceptor. Technically that was supposed to be my second week by myself, BUT I asked my manager if I could have another week to practice and be on the floor to get used to the routine and just have someone there to assist whenever I needed it. She commended me for being honest and reassured that it would be an excellent idea considering she wants me to feel comfortable and confident on the floor. And at least during nights we don’t have to remove foleys (if their foleys were removed during the day, we would just make sure if they havent been urinating after 6-8 hours consistently that we would have a hat in there and possibly day shift before their shift ends would do a bladder scan). And at least at night we wouldn’t have to do iv removals, UNLESS, the patient asks for it on the very morning like 3-4 a.m if they were concerned about it and just wanted it removed on the day theyre getting discharged. Like the other day I had to remove one because a patient of mine was getting discharged to go to westmoreland/ECF (similar to nursing home/rehab care until they can go home) and was hoping she’d get the best care there like she had with me and a few other techs. This was the same patient who also appreciated me sharing with her my stories about writing and reading for fun or for just student train in tutoring a few semesters ago. So far, after being asked how nights went by several people, I’ve kept some key information in mind like if they wanted to walk around in the middle of the night then let the nurse know and also let them walk if they need to. Obviously not on the day fresh out of surgery, but when PT/OT says it’s okay and walk with them too. And be sure to be considerate of trash and their posessions like making sure their overbed table wasn’t cluttered with old tissues or that theyre phone or their spirometer (instrument patients use to measure air capacity bc we’d also need their saturation to be at 92/93+) was in reach if they needed or out of reach.

So that was the gist of the first week, and then suddenly getting that message out of the blue by him. And it feels like earlier and yesterday I had all these thoughts running in my head about it or what-ifs like if I had been at uic longer and chosen to stay. Or etc. what-if in the future. I just wanted to write it down because it means something to me and having people from the past come back to you in a way where that interaction isn’t lost forever. I think what I learned from a couple of online classes and reading from lectures is at this certain age and before your 40′s, people tend to feel a lost of intimacy and identity still searching but that they try to fill in their time and everything. And I’m thankful at least he liked that I talked alot, as if I hadn’t talked about it in forever with someone and felt like I was just keeping it to myself and needed to spill what I felt. And he was glad he had someone to hear his thoughts and passions for perfusion and I think I just wanted insight on school and I think his parents are tryng to make him go back and do nursing. SOO if that’s the case, even though I told him to fight for what he wants to do, we might end up being in the same batch for nursing if I go to uic haha. Since i have the same plans to take anatomy at my school rn and a few other courses but for chamberlain or uic. It’s iffy right now and maybe there’s a chance as long as I have other schools backed up. I just like how after watching so many nursing and med student videos online, that it’s not too late to achieve your dreams, it’s not too late to start over 🌸☀️
