on a lighter, more positive note, i love the small willow & gus & hooty interactions we got in this ep. wish we could’ve seen more of them trying to take care of luz since it’s been a while that we got the three of them front and center, but i understand the priority of the episode.

i also really enjoyed amity, eda, and king bonding momence <33 and of course i enjoyed amity’s determination to do everything she can to help luz. she really is an awesome girlfriend <3 i love these sapphic kids so much. also luz’s way of sending messages is so smart & cute & def in character

and king acting like the little brother he is towards luz <33 i always LIVE for king & luz sibling momence and this episode does not fail me. i love them so much <33

also harpy eda is very cool. i have no idea what she ate (i cannot for the life of me understand the word king says ;; v ;;) but dang it’s kinda worth it!! she was cool this ep

gus sometimes visits the owl house when he's home alone or has nothing to do (or go hang out with willow and such, but toh is one of his options) so sometimes after luz comes back from Her Adventures(tm) she can see gus on the couch writing some notes examining a supposed human artifact and at one point later on in her room and she just says nothing and they both continue doing what they wanted to
