一 early mornings

the sun peaking through the sheer blinds as you stir awake. bare toned arms wrapped around your waist. as your eyes adjust to the orange hue, you feel soft breathing on the back of your neck.

gently turning, you see elisa. a small smile on your lips when your eyes trail over her face. from her lashes resting against her cheeks to her soft lips, she truly was the prettiest. you turn around fully, careful not to wake her.

she's groans softly before burying her face into your chest. the soft fabric of your shirt rubbing against her when you quietly laugh. you run a hand through her hair before going on your phone for a bit.

after looking at the time you decide it's time to get up, placing your phone down and trying to move without waking her. you successfully get your legs out from under her, but then you feels arms tighten around your waist. “stay.”

you smile and reach a hand to her hair, “i've gotta get up.” she shakes her head then grabs one of your thighs, pulling you back under her and resting her face in the crook of your neck.

“eli, let go please.” you say halfheartedly, not really minding your situation. she groans before turning her head to look up at you with her eyes still closed. “it's too early. sleep, amour.” she mumbles as her hands slip under her your shirt, pulling you even closer.

you give in. what's better than this anyways?

and when you two do get up, elisa trails soft kisses down the back of your neck to your collar bones before littering more along your face. she flashes that toothy grin at you before she presses her lips to yours.

suddenly wide awake, she pulls the blanket off you two and picks you up bridal style, carrying you to the bathroom. she jokingly scolds, “i can't believe you slept in so late. i told you to get up earlier.”

hearty laughs fill the bathroom as you both get ready for the day, your hands rarely leaving one another.
