Honestly who gave Wicked the RIGHT to express what's expressed in For Good.
You've changed me and I've changed you. Permanently and inescapably and completely and nearly beyond recognition, certainly beyond being able to undo it or even knowing where to start, where to begin to untangle the twisted threads of our intertwined lives.
Was the change for the better? I'm not sure. The change has been too deep and too complete; i don't know who i am without you.
But i think it was for the better. In any case it was for good.
So I just went to watch Wicked, and something I’ve never realised is that while Elphaba and Glinda are singing ‘For Good’, Dorothy is still stuck in the basement and she can just hear the whole thing like
Elphaba and Glinda : You’ll be with me, like a handprint on my heart
Summary: Wangji should have seen this coming.
(Kind of mafia AU. Where the Jins are their usual treacherous selves but Wei Ying is perfectly capable of getting revenge. Which they absolutely deserve. For having made his Lan Zhan so much as frown.)
Kay's comments: When Lan Xichen trusts his heart to the wrong person, things go wrong not only for Lan Wangji, but for all of the Lans. Luckily, Lan Wangji never believed all those malicious rumours spread about his husband, who's the BAMFest BAMF who ever BAMFed in this story. A very satisfying read!! We love a Lan Wangji who is Wei Wuxian simp first, human second.
Excerpt: Wangji has never trusted Jin Guangyao, not in the least. Not even when the man – conveniently – managed to save Xiongzhang from an attack that, in itself, was likely staged in order to provide an in for Jin Guangyao with Gusu Lan.
Wangji has known as much from the start.
He knew that Jin Guangyao had split loyalties. Everyone knew.
But, he and his brother have never interfered with each other’s personal choices. And as much as Jin Guangyao’s presence affected their family’s business as well, the man himself was still Xiongzhang’s personal choice. Wangji had not interfered.
Despite Jin Guangyao’s split loyalties, Wangji had still thought the man loyal to his friendship with Xiongzhang. At least enough to ensure that no true harm would ever come to him, enough to want to prevent real harm or true heartbreak.
A false assumption.

Word of advice for all the Top Gun and Broadway fans alike: don't listen/watch "For Good" while watching Maverick and Ice's scene in TGM. Just don't, unless you want to cry buckets of tears.

The art is holding this one back. It's stiff, but its creepy. A cute guy with seemingly no other motivation but lust stalks an innocent man, and that's the whole plot.
Taeyoung isn't having a great time.
He's got a stalker. They send him pictures...of him. It's scary. They always know where he is. When he gets on the train to go to class. When he eats. When he sleeps. He's afraid. They comment about his handsome looks...by texting him on his personal phone through unknown numbers.
He's not a bad guy. Or a super cool guy. He's just a little handsome, and he's an okay student.
He feels unlucky.
Average people aren't supposed to get stalked. Especially not tall men who usually keep to themselves.
He's stressed.
He's got a new friend though. His name is Lee. Lee is ONE OF Taeyoungs stalkers. There are at least two.
Lee is formidable because he has money, and a good reputation.
Taeyoung does not suspect him.
Their dynamic is like this.
Silly.
Harmless.
It's almost cute.
Lee takes Taeyoung home.
He does things to Taeyoung while he's asleep.
He knows he's evil, but he's good at masking it.
They become fast friends. Too fast.
This normal guy likes Taeyoung.
Taeyoung likes men. It's a secret. The other stalker starts to threaten him with pictures.
