Jack Harlow x Reader : Pregnancy Nights

You couldn’t sleep, this was your second night in a roll where you would toss and turn but no sleep would come your way. Your back hurts, it got to the point where you couldn’t even handle laying down.

You were seven months pregnant, and laying down or even getting comfortable was starting to be difficult for you. Your husband was beside you in a deep sleep, he too has issues falling asleep but that’s due to sometimes getting nightmares, so you definitely weren’t about to wake him up.

You carefully slide out of bed, grab your cell phone and make sure the nightlight coming from the restroom is still bright enough for him. You then poke your head into your daughter's bedroom to see she was laying on her tummy, arms spread out wide, just like her father.

Before you made it to the living room, your stomach started growling, so since it was three in the morning, you decided on a snack.

You made your way into the kitchen and pulled out the jar of dilled pickles, cut it into pieces and sprinkled some tajin on top. You then grabbed a water bottle and made your way into the living room and started watching your comfort show.

An hour later Jack is stirring in bed, he’s reaching out for you but feels your spot is empty and cold. That has him sit up and look around the bedroom.

“Babe?” He pushes open the bathroom door completely to see if you were in there. “Y/N?”

He starts making his way downstairs and sees you sitting on the couch with a blanket on your feet. “What are you doing down here?”

You turn to look at him. “Hi, what are you doing awake?”

“I can ask you the same thing babe.” He raises his eyebrows at you and comes to sit down next to you.

“I couldn’t sleep, my back was killing me.”

“So wake me up and we could’ve cuddled.”

You smile at that. “You’ve been working non stop, you need the sleep mi amor.”

“You do too, you’re carrying precious cargo.” He rubs at your belly.

“I tried but I just couldn’t, so I decided to come down here.”

He then turns to look at the tv and sees what you’re watching. “Babe, I’m starting to think it's the main character you’re obsessed with and not the actual show.”

You smirk “I mean, Jax Teller is really hot.” You were watching Sons of Anarchy, a show you can watch over and over again.

He glares at you. “Hmm.”

You chuckle, “Oh but you can sing a song about Dua Lipa?”

He makes a shocked face expression “You said you loved that song.”

You laugh, “I do, I was trying to make an example.”

He shakes his head “You really do have a thing for white boys though. First was Paul Walker, then this guy.” He points at the tv, “Then me.”

“You’re forgetting Urban.” You tell him teasingly.

He whips his head so quickly to look at you, “You have a crush on Urb? My best friend?”

You shrug “It’s just those lips of his.” You tell him jokingly, but he’s taking it seriously. “That tongue when he’s rolling a joint.”

“Okay stop, no, I don’t want to hear it.”

You stay quiet for a little then he turns to look at you “Do you really have a crush on Urb?”

“I was joking mi amor.” You smile at him.

“Sure you were, now I have to keep you away from my best friend, and I need to find a way to block this series from our tv.” He grabs the remote and turns the tv off.

“Hey, I was watching my other husband.”

“Quit playing, now come on, let's go to bed.” He starts walking you both towards the stairs.

“Who’s playing? I’m not playing,” Your walking up the stairs now. “Charlie Hunnam is my other husband and my baby daddy.” At those words you feel your baby start kicking. You place your hand on your belly “Oww, okay I get it. I was joking.”

Jack smirks “That’s right little man, let her know you don’t like the shit she’s saying.” He’s rubbing at your belly now. “See, he’s already got my back.”

You roll your eyes at that “He’s been doing that lately you know?”

You’re in your bedroom now, Jack is helping you into bed. “Doing what baby?”

“Kicking whenever I play a song of yours, or when I watch some of your old interviews. He recognizes your voice. He even kicks whenever we have little petty fights and I don’t want you near me until I cool down.”

He gets into bed and lays down, pulling you to his chest. “Mia never did that.”

You shake your head. “Our son isn’t even born yet and he’s already team daddy.”

“Thank you.” He tells you, kisses your forehead and places his hand on the bump, something he always does to fall asleep.

“For what?”

“This, our life together, our children. You came into my life and gave me everything I ever wanted in a partner. I’m just lucky to live this with you.”

You look up at him and smile, “It wasn’t an easy road, but it was totally worth it. You make me the happiest woman alive. Our babies and I are lucky to have such a respectful and loving man in our lives.”

“I love you, in and out the stars baby, it’s you and me until the wheels fall off.”

“You can’t make me cry right now Jackman, I love you so much mi amor. I’m forever thankful for you and our children.” You kiss his lips.

“Now, the real question is, will little man get mad if I stick it in real quick?” He asks, wiggling his eyebrows.

“JACKMAN!!!!!”

“What? It’s an honest question.”

You shake your head smiling, “You’re not putting that monster inside me right now. Just cuddle me, and sing me a song so I can fall asleep, or you’ll have to deal with a cranky wife later on.”

“Not even a little dry humping?”

“JACK.”

“Yes, that’s what I’m trying to have you yell out.”

“Oh my god.”

“That too.”

You smack his chest. “Stop, let me sleep and then we’ll talk about you making me yell or something.”

He pulls the sheets closer to cover both your bodies. “No more sneaking away from me at nights though, wake me up whenever you can’t sleep.”

“Hmm, I’ll think about it, you need your rest as well. But I promise I won’t sneak away.”

“Deal, now turn that ass around so I can rub on that belly and sing your song.”

“You’re such a romantic my love.” You turn the other side, your back to his chest.

“Anything for you.” He starts rubbing at your belly and you don’t even remember if he even sang to you, as soon as you closed your eyes you drifted into a deep sleep.

“Yeah, life is perfect. Te amo.” Jack whispers into your ear and with those words he too falls asleep, his hand never leaving your belly.

Letters #1 Rose

There was a friend. Let's call her Rose because shes one full of love for her loved ones. And shes soft and fragile as well so she keeps her thorns close to protect her.

Rose is a kind and helpful person. She's well mannered and fun. She does too much for people who do not care. And the engraved need to not disappoint her family leads to her making her mistakes.

I saw her change. I thank Allah that I was the teeniest part of that change. We encouraged each other for good. We supported each other against leaving bad habits. She did amazing to the point that it became inspirational. Her trust in Allah when things got hard was beautiful.

She was the one who took my hand in my lowest point. Took me to a prayer mat and told me to make Dua. If I didn't know what to say, just cry it out. And I did. And that was how my love for making Dua started. She helped opened a new door for me that helped me get close to Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎.

This is a letter to you Rose. Things I wish I know how to say face to face.

Dear Rose,

You can not make a rotten fruit turn fresh again. Choose Allah Always. People may say that we have to do something to bring change. We have to choose something so that Islam is not threatened.

But Rose, the moment you forsake Allah's Sharia to a man made one, you have threatened Islam. When you are ready to compromise Allah's Sharia for a few good moments of this world, you have lost track of what you are really fighting for.

Sometimes doing nothing is the best decision. Baraa from the fitnah and evil is doing something. It's when people leave this filthy system that a new system can be enforced. If you wish to implement sharia, this is not the way.

This is not the way of the Prophets. Not the way of the Sahaba. And not the way of the righteous. They never compromised Sharia. Times may have changed but get this, Allah's Sharia is for eternity.

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow doesn't matter when Akhirah is all that matters. Which is why it was so easy for me to separate myself from a system that only calls me to compromise my tawheed for a few moments of "less fitnah".

May Allah make it easy for you. Always remember that abovebyour duties to your husband and family comes the duties of Allah. Before pleasing anyone, comes pleasing Allah. They can not help you when it's time for judgment. You will be alone with only your deeds. Don't get distracted from the real reason we are here. It's to worship Allah alone.

I sincerely make dua that Allah forgives us both, grant us beneficial knowledge and guide us to the straight path of Tawheed.

2024 so far for a 27 year old

27 and depressed before I turned 27 this year and white frosting with tiny blue flowers and lashes and packing and flying alone for the first time ever and going to Vancouver and a fuzzy hot pink sweater with red hearts on it that your sister got for you and coming home early and getting so depressed and laying on the floor in your closet and planning to not eat for days so you can die and failing and seeing your psychiatrist on a thursday in february and then again the following tuesday bc we need to figure this out and being fine again after as usual and starting to take abilify the first week of march and picking a grey colour to paint a wall in my room and still vlogging here and there and actually painting the wall in my room in early march a pretty grey colour and finally picking a chandelier for my room and having it put up and ramadan beginning in march and prepping to go to pakistan and buying things for the trip and doing travel hauls and loving the grey wall in my room and liking the lighting in my room for once and packing and prepping and vlogging and lash extensions and eyebrow threading and going all the way to pakistan and loving my airport outfit and spending an entire month there and having eid there for the first time and also attending weddings there and shopping and doing so many things there and having a partly good time and then leaving Pakistan and performing umrah on April 30 and seeing the kabaa for the first time and asking Allah to let me get married to my husband this year and trying and making duas and being in Mecca and being in masjid al haram and then going to madinah on a bus and being in masjid al nawabi and I forgot to mention feeling like bridget from sisterhood of the travelling pants while on the bus to madinah and then also leaving ot go home and having one flight to turkey with 5 hour layover and then one last flight to montreal and then we drive home and I get home on may 5 and ive been home for roughly 5 days and getting depressed and feeling ungrateful and I think I will be alive for like 45+ more years and again I am 27 but feel 72 sometimes

You cry and feel empty as you wish you could greet him with love just once more as he walked into your home after Eid Salaah, yet you wipe your tears and smile at the sight of your sons as you see his reflection illuminating on their faces.

💕 To the revert brother who is alone this Eid as he does not have family or friends who are Muslim. After experiencing an amazing Eid Salaah he goes home to an empty house and lonely thoughts.

May Allah bless you with a beautiful family of your own who will bring sunshine and joy into your home and your heart.

💕 To the elderly mother whose heart, eyes and arms are yearning to see and embrace her children and grandchildren. Her tired and wrinkled eyes search out her little window awaiting their arrival yet they do not visit her at her 'home' for the elderly. She does not even get an Eid phone call or message from her son and daughter, yet another Eid alone with tears and memories for company.

May Allah soften the heart, mind and soul of every child who placed their parents in a 'home' for the aged. May Allah place in their hearts love, mercy and time for their parents.

💕 To the recently divorced sister who is hurting. She feels confused and seeks comfort from her family and friends yet her heart can never mend.

May Allah erase your disappointments, heal your broken heart and give you happiness and peace again.

💕 To the brother who saved every spare penny, sacrificing his wants to purchase a sheep for Eid.

May Allah grant you barakaah and happiness always.

💕 To our beautiful brothers, sisters, children, parents and grandparents who are facing death and destruction, living in tents and in fear this Eid with not even a slice of bread or a bottle of clean water.

May Allah send aid, restore safety and grant you peace again. May Allah rebuild your home, hope and happiness.

💕 To the ones who are seeking life partners and feel lonely on Eid day although surrounded by family and friends.

Assalamualaikum sister, my big sister and her husband has hurt my parents very badly while they were away from their home. The matter is quite complicated to address here. I will write it in simple words. My sister has married to a man and she unconditionally loves him. Allahumma barik. But I don't like it when she prefers her husband over her family in every matter. Recently I had to stay with them for few days while my parents were away. I am 8-9 years younger than them. But all of a sudden my sister's husband sent me to my aunt's house without informing my parents.... because he was uncomfortable around me. Although I never appear in front of them. I was always busy with my studies in a different room. Later I got to know my own sister disliked my presence in her house. She and her husband called my parents and lectured them a lot against me and even disrespected my parents and their dignity. My parents were immensely hurt and at times I find my mother crying and my father tensed and upset. My parents were sweethearts to their eldest daughter and her husband. They nurtured them and even granted them innumerable things. They loved them so much to this point that my father called her husband his own son. They have done a lot for my eldest sister even before marriage. Now my parents say that they felt betrayed by them. I don't know what's the deal with them. But the Only thing I know I did not do anything offending nor did I misbehave with them. Allah swt is my only witness. The question that I am going to ask is actually my mum's: she is asking if she can break her ties with her eldest daughter and her husband and only talk to them once in a while? I don't know if you are going to reply to me or not but please make dua for my parents. They are very heartbroken. 💔

La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah, I am sorry your parents are heartbroken over this, it must be so painful for parents to get this treatment from their own child. However, I don't have the verdict on this because - again - on this page we don't give fatwahs, we don't have enough knowledge to tell your mom exactly if it is permissible or not to cut ties with her daughter in this situation. I think she should ask a Shaykh to make sure.

Nonetheless, I think your parents currently have no other choice but to keep their distance from your sister and her husband. I don't think it is even healthy for them to remain in contact with her like calling her often or visiting her or something. On the other hand, I don't think cutting ties completely is okay either. But maybe calling once in a week (their daughter only), and making the conversation short as well, no need for details just checking how she is doing and if she needs anything and wishing her well, and that's it. Also, if your sister is the one doing the calling and checking on your family then you should pick up the phone or reply to her messages. I also recommend making lots of duaas for her and that Allah swt mends her relationship with your parents. I honestly pray from the bottom of my heart that she is not in a toxic marriage with someone who is a manipulator or a narcissist and that he is brainwashing her and turning her against her family 😔😔. Allahu al mustaān.

May Allah swt mend your mom's heart and grant her peace and calmness. May Allah swt fix your relationship with your sister soon and bring her back to your family with a pure heart, ameen.

Asalamualaikum Kak Juls,

I am really really sorry for the super delayed testimonial.

I still remembered when my then boyfriend suddenly told his family that he intended to marry me, on Feb 14 2015. It was a rush, heart attack on my part. Due to that, I was caught off guard and was in a panic mode.

While having my lunch break at work, I casually asked my ex-colleague Dilah if she can recommend/knew any MUA. Partly because I dunno where to search and partly due to the panic attack, I couldn't think properly. She thought for a moment, opened up her FB and went to your page.

"Do you like this kind of make up?"

"How would I know? I don't even know how to put on make up!!"

"Oh ya, I think you can go for her. Most people I recommend liked her service"

With that, I sent in a query to your FB page and also to your mobile number. No doubt you did get confused as I did not introduce myself properly since my FB page name was different from my full name, yet you never failed to answer all my queries and never ending questions and assured my doubts.

Fast forward to 24th March 2015, in the early afternoon, when I set the appointment to have a trial make up with you, I was greeted with a warm welcome to your place. Knowing that I have sensitive skin and I seldom put on make up, you were able to do 'your magic' and transformed me from an ugly duckling to a beautiful princess. I have never been made up that way, nor do I know how to even alight my eyebrows. Forget YouTube / make up tutorials, I can and will never be able to achieve the look that you gave me that day.

All my imperfections were addressed and it felt awkward for me to smile with the lipstick on me. I was sold, looking flawless with the eye make up. It really made my eyes 'pop out', catching attention. If I were to blink coyly or do that Puss in Boots look, confirm people will melt.

After we left, me and Dilah went to a cafe at Selegie to chillax (chill and relax). 1 minah & 1 minah-ci sitting for drinks and light snacks. Passerbys were looking at us, especially me, and honestly I felt shy but confident too. That for once the make up changed my looks and I was more presentable to the public. I reached home after midnight that day, and my dad saw the trial make up.

"Bagus make up dia, tak jatuh.." (Her make up is good, it stays well). Even my dad was impressed with it.

After removal of the make up, I went to sleep. I waited for a few days; if I were to have any skin allergy due to my skin sensitivity. Alhamdullilah, no such issues or outbreaks. That was when I know that you HAVE to be my MUA for my big event.

On the day of my solemnization, Feb 29 2016, I was excited yet also nervous. Excited to be beautiful again but nervous for the upcoming events. Work stress and tying up loose ends for last minute things for that day played a part too, yet you never failed to calm me down. You can notice the tension building up inside me.

You asked what colours I would like to have for my eyes, I trusted you to decide what's best. It was purple that you chose, and with the same make up techniques I was transformed to an angel. With my gown and hijab, you dressed me up and assisted with my veil. Honestly, I was so blown away with my transformation. I looked so tranquil and serene, so angelic. It is true what they said, brides look so beautiful on their big day. Thanks to the professionalism and meticulous works from the MUA. Your works were reflected on me on that important day in my life. Never will I ever forget how I looked on that day.

You stayed a while to watch over me during the solemnization part, and assisted me to keep calm. It was a breeze, Alhamdullilah, and everyone present at the event wanted to take pictures with me, until my jaw was almost stiff from the smiling. Hahaha.

I am truly honoured and blessed to have you as my MUA, thanks to Dilah's recommendations and also to your expertise. You were so detailed with your work and your advise was on point during my solemnization event.

Some MUA can only work with a particular skin tone, but you are so good you can blend and cater to every skin tone. That is what true professionalism is. I was in good hands when I'm with you, no doubt about it. So much so that your quality is recognised and well-known by many.

It wasn't too high and it definitely didn't look awkward at all. People actually thought I shaved off my kening. Yeap, it was that real! Hahaha!!! And I am so amazed of your workmanship of transforming a normal red lip to a 3D effect one with just a single black pencil. Awesome work Kak Juls! Everyone was saying that the whole getup was 'Best Dress' worthy, tapi sayang I lambat sampai. But the fact that everyone said that was enough to show how brilliant your work was.
