Not exactly an ask, but one of my mutuals and I were discussing asoiaf fashion, and the potential of Valyrians wearing dragon skull/teeth as jewellery, or turning dragon teeth into weapons, like daggers. Perhaps in the early days when Valyrians tamed dragons the good ole’ fashioned way before, wearing a dragontooth necklace could be a sign of status/bravery.
Yes!! Rite of passage for members of dragon riding families, you have to go out an find a wild dragon, regardless of if you intend to claim it or not, and somehow gain one of its teeth. And if you’re too scared to do it and just claim one of your family’s dragons instead when you come of age, it’s incredibly embarrassing for you and your family. Most children are considered adults when they claim their first dragons tooth, and wear it on a necklace, upon a ring, or in their hair.
And to have a lot of dragons teeth was considered a great honor. Especially fierce riders have their armor encrusted with them, and weapons made out of especially large ones. Their family is more prestigious as well, spouses and children of the riders given more respect when they wear the many teeth of their parents conquest.
And in a Dothraki spin on things, if you beat another rider in combat on dragon back, you are given one of your enemy’s dragon’s teeth, a shameful sign of their failure. If you kill the dragon, you get its entire body, and whether you return it to the family or make jewelry out of the teeth and bones is up to you.

I wish Skyrim dragons would lay down on the ground more. Instead there's that one boy at Dragontooth Crater who does it.
I really wish the cuties would do it more. At least the ones who don't wish to murder me.

can you give an OSRS top 5 songs list?
these are just my personal favorites, so i'm not saying they're like the "Best" or whatever:
Dragontooth Island
Newbie Melody (it's too nostalgic not to be here)
Book of Spells
The Enclave (wtf this sounds like a trials of mana song)
Army of Darkness
Honorable Mentions:
Arrival
Harmony
Autumn Voyage
The City of Sun
Medieval

DISCLAIMER: I am extremely bad at writing but I just want to get my points across.
I believe a lot of people are confused with both Dan Heng and blade’s relationship in honkai star rail especially in a shipping perspective. I see a lot of people saying that their relationship is toxic because Dan Heng is “clearly traumatized” by blade which isn’t exactly true, that’s only a part of it.
His fear of Blade is because running and fighting him is also coming to terms with his past. Because Dan Heng is running from his past, why would he want to confront it? I should also add that it would be extremely frustrating if a man from the past your trying to run from, came back every time you stabbed him.
(References below)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Btw to people saying they aren’t equal to one another, the second image is proof of the opposite.
I also find it weird that while people are saying that Dan Heng is “traumatized” there are multiple posts proving that he misses his “bosom friend.” There’s an official post on the Honkai Star Rail account that says “the fragrance and the moonlight, everything’s just right” with a picture of Dan Heng holding an alcoholic drink with a full moon behind him. I will admit that this is most likely a reach but I believe that it’s also connected to Blade’s relic set description for the bracer. There’s a theory going around that Dan Heng doesn’t have memories of his past, only the feelings towards it. So his “missing” and “longing” are more personal feelings from a hidden memory. I don’t believe this is true since there’s a light cone that disproves it. I just want to put it here since I found it interesting.
Here’s a picture of both btw if anyone is interested.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also I connected this to “‘Eternal Regrets of A High Elder’ (an aria from the ‘Dragontooth Tales’)” but keep in mind that this is even more of a reach. I just find it too much of a coincidence to ignore (Reference below)
Tumblr media
Now I’m not saying they aren’t toxic. Enemies to lovers is not really a healthy dynamic for ships and is often confused for “rivals to lovers” which is why people argue about it all the time. But keep it mind that before saying “Dan Heng is traumatized” people should probably get more in touch with the lore rather than the story that is thrown at your face. Lore and story are two completely different things, don’t get them confused.
My last explanation is based on LEAKS so please read ahead with caution. I won’t explain in full detail but I’ll be hinting at a certain scene.
If Dan Heng was clearly traumatized of Blade SPECIFICALLY, I don’t think he would confront. That’s all I’m going to say.
Now I could be wrong about all of this so let’s see what happens in 1.1

En's eternal h- I mean Shirakumo Lives
“Dragontooth, who as I mentioned was known for having a bit of a temper, was pissed. So! What do you all think happened next?” Oboro grins at the class. “Did he, A: get all his friends together and kick Bloodwing’s teeth in, B: go overboard with his Quirk and take out eight city blocks, or C: find out Bloodwing’s civilian identity and burn his house down while he was asleep?”
In moments everyone is furiously scribbling on their whiteboards. Oboro has to admit to himself that this is probably the smartest idea he’s ever had—he’s never had an issue with kids paying attention in class when they’re all so determined to win at History.
“Alright, what’ve we got, everyone?”
Kaminari calls out, “Arson! He did Arson!”

🏙️ 🌶️ ⚔️ ☃️ 🎂 🌱
ALL THESE FOR JULIAN RAHHH
Gooood morning! Thank you for your ask and for this ask meme list! So...
🏙️ Honestly, Julian's life was just a vicious circle: home - work - home. On weekends he also often worked, and his corporate parties were dedicated to the company and work. Nothing but working for the company. Pretty depressing, isn't it?
🌶️ Oh, although he was happy to leave his hated office clerk job and work with plants/culture, at the beginning of his journey the thought of being a farmer scared him a bit. Because it's one thing to grow flowers in a pot and another to cultivate entire fields. But after gaining experience, the fear is gone and he loves being a farmer with all his heart.
⚔️ Galaxy sword (well, and its improved version Infinity Blade), and Dragontooth shiv!
☃️ Fully immersed in mining precious ore in the mines, and defending the valley from monsters. Of course, with the greenhouse, he still has farm work even in the winter, but most of his time is spent adventuring. Well, and going out to visit friends, since there's plenty of time.
🎂 Fall 19!
🌱 Gildergreen Farm (yes, it's a reference to a tree in Skyrim, because the word Gildergreen ("Златолист" "Zlatolist") is a very pretty sounding word))

Ripsnarl (Original)
This was the original concept for a Lizardfolk named Ripsnarl. I may still use it at some point but with a different name.
Lizardfolk - Wizard (Necromancer) - Sage
Notes:
Uses a bag of square bones (knuckle bones and vertebrae) as his spellbook.
Introduces himself by a name made of guttural snarls, before pointing at the nearest human and claiming their kind calls him "Ripsnarl".
Maybe rip that whole Goblin slayer thing of worshipping Dinosaurs?
Native to the desert.
Tosses down a fang when casting Animate Dead and refers to the results as his "Dragontooth Warriors".
Backstory Concept: Is the tribes Shaman of Death, his counterpart a female who is the Shaman of Life. Life Shaman handles birth, major medical duties, and acts as a keeper of law/traditions. Shaman of Death handles funerary rites, preventing the spread of lethal diseases, comforting those left behind, and "killing" traditions when they begin to do more harm than good. "Even Traditions need to die". Suffers from a terminal lung disease, but it's genetic rather than something that can be cured even by magic. Despite being around death all time, and accepting that he cannot be saved, is still afraid of dying from this illness.
Appearance:  6′4, 225 lbs. Older Lizardfolk. Banana Tiger looking body colours/markings. Wears a Direwolf skull as a mask, clothes give imagery of a vulture. Has a dagger he does not use.

Dragontooth Fighting Dagger
The sinuous Dragontooth Fighting Dagger has a swept blade of skillfully wrought Damascus steel and the melding of two different steels into a single blade is self-evident in its vibrant, ripple-like patterning seen throughout the blade. Like a fingerprint, each one is slightly different in its finished design. The blade has a thick spine for durability and the blade form tapers toward its main cutting portion to minimize drag when cutting – the side geometry of the blade extends nearly to the tip and this greatly aids in reinforcing the tip for a thrust.
The elegantly formed grip is fashioned from bone-like hardened resin and stacked layers of carefully crafted filework brass to create a composite grip which was polished smooth and flush for a fine finish. For a tough hilt construction the tang extends through the grip which is covered with a final pommel cap to complete the grip. Included with the dagger is a sheath of tough and thick leather with a stitched construction and a brass-buttoned retaining strap.
