Dare I say. Do I sense... stylistic inspiration from drawn to life? XD
woahh there's no wayyy that the most influential game on my interest in art as a kid is one of the biggest influences on my pixel art!!
(but seriously yeah it's a pretty huge inspiration for my current project in particular. I think all games should have misshapen buildings with random giant propellers attached to them)

How do you draw kobolds? I'm trying to learn, but it is so painful. Almost every guide I've found is "draw a circle, now draw the rest of the kobold and pray"
TwT
here is a stroke by stroke guide on how to draw a simple kobold! hope it helps!

Can you share some of your process for highlights and shadow? I really love how you shade metals on your characters and I struggle to recreate it.
This is by no means like. technically correct, but this is generally what I do to achieve shiny metallic surfaces. It might have more gradients and texture depending on the level of polish on the material but this is the base blueprint.
I also did a version for pixel art a while back with a slightly different approach. Hope these are helpful!
