Everyone look at my pretty shiny metal 🐲💎✨
It's… very very late of me to do so, but I'm starting a Disney pin collection! I'm going to be focusing on TTS and especially series style pins tho, b/c I think a general Tangled/Rapunzel collection would get bonkers fast.
(Also, if any of you guys have old pins that you're willing to sell/trade if you're no longer collecting, you should lmk! 👀✨)

Hello there everyone! Welcome to the first night of the ninth annual Wreck-it Ralph Pin Post Month!
Tonight we're starting big with the DS, Wreck-it Ralph, Awkward Moments Series, Wreck-it Ralph pin, LR.
This pin features a few awkward moments from the Wreck-it Ralph movie, as well as one that can be considered a little more heartwarming. The first being a moment between Ralph and Vanellope in one of the earliest periods of their friendship. The second being that awkward moment Ralph found himself trapped in sweets, just seconds before Wynnchell walked up to arrest the unfortunate wrecker. Then finally that moment when Ralph found himself not only in a pool of mud, but chocolate mud which of course he likes even less then the regular stuff. Each of these comedic moments are cleverly contained in a clapperboard with the words "Awkward Moments" on the nameplate. While being shown using a two-sided slider gimmick combined with the common pin on pin design.
Honestly the second moment is definitely the one I would call the most awkward. I've definitely turned away with a chuckle hiding behind my hand during this moment in the movie. I also believe that these were good points in the movie chosen for this pin, as while each of them can be considered awkward in their own ways. But they're from brief yet memorable points for fans of the film. The only part of this pin that I would improve upon is Wynnchell, as without his chocolate glaze he seems a little plain. It certainly does add to the awkwardness of the pin, though I don't believe that was what the artists were thinking of when designing this pin.

New pin for the Candy collection<33
The little wheels spin as well. The sparkly glittery art resembling a sugar coating really sells the whole aesthetic design.

Hello there everyone, and welcome to night twenty-four of the ninth annual Wreck-it Ralph Pin Post Month!
Tonight with have the WDI, Film Strip Series, Wreck-it Ralph pin. LE 250.
This pin was released in late November of 2022 to celebrate Wreck-it Ralph's tenth anniversary since it was shown in theaters. While the location of the pin release is recorded to be at Mickey's or Glendale, a Disney Store open exclusively to cast members, it was also made available to purchase online. Though exclusively to cast members as many WDI pins are. The pin itself is apart of a more recent, ongoing series to celebrate Disney animated film anniversaries. Each of them taking place on a strip of film like this one, featuring the name of the film along with what anniversary is being celebrated. Along with the main characters of the film posing before a familiar background, as well as two other molded characters from the film bordering each side of the pin. In this case our main characters are Ralph and Vanellope taking on the familiar power pose that was commonly seen in promotional material for the film. While the molded metal characters include King Candy on the left, and Fix-it Felix to the right of the pin. Each of them taking their tried and true, classic poses as well.
Honestly this is one of my favorite pins in my collection right now, to the point where I almost didn't showcase it this year simply because I was being overly picky of the timing. Of all the tenth anniversary pins released last year, this was the one I simply fell in love with. Specifically for its simplicity and its detail, as well as the good usage of the stained glass gimmick that helps the movie title really stand out against my felt board. This pin is large and proud, so much that it wouldn't pin comfortably to a typical lanyard unless done vertically. Which simply is madness and should not be done. While some may believe that the reuse of these classic character models is unoriginal. I find that it works in favor of the design as it reminds the observer of how these characters were first introduced to the audience even prior to the films release. Then there's the molded character on each side which bring some shape to the otherwise flat pin, acting as perfect borders that help bring the pin together while not being too distracting to the eye. The only thing I would add to improve this pin is Calhoun who is once again, unfortunately missing from what I like to call group picture pins. While I understand that she would have thrown off the balance of the pin, it would have been nice to see her included alongside Felix or in the place of King Candy so at least the core four could have been seen together. Besides, that I absolutely adore this pin and it's doubtful I'll be taking it off my board at the end of the month.
