All the good girls go to Hell. Some even choose to.
There's definitely something wrong with Dean ever since he was turned into a demon by the Mark. And even though Ellie is aware of it, she decides to stick around and go along for the ride. Of course human and demon relationships don't come without a whole set of complications and ignored warnings. Inspired by Jennifer's Body.

I might have a full set of clown makeup on but god damn I'm really hoping that Marvel execs scrapping Daredevil Born Again and starting from scratch, and the new creative team reporting that they've been watching the OG series for inspiration...I'm so really hoping that they bring back Deb and Elden as Karen and Foggy.
Charlie, Deborah, and Elden just worked SO SO well together. And if you bring back Jon as Frank Castle and Vincent as Fisk and Charlie as Matt, it's just so fucking unfair if Deb and Elden get left in the dust. Particularly, like, Karen Page was also made super important to the Punisher show, let alone Daredevil. Why the hell would you leave her out while bringing the boys she's connected to back?
And with the Defenders shows now all on Disney+, AND being added to its MCU timeline, it'd be a really dumbass decision to nuke the heart of what made the Daredevil show incredible. It wasn't all Matt being broody by himself. It was Nelson, Murdock, and Page, their connections, their sacrifices, their victories. Their love.
And god damn did they get fucked over with the cancellations. They ALL deserve to come back.
I'm hoping so hard that Foggy and Karen come back with Elden and Deborah. It won't be Daredevil without them, especially with everyone else. It'll be like leaving two gaping holes unfilled.

Ok yes I may be a bit tipsy but I'm rewatching season 2 of Daredevil for the Punisher subplot and still just can't get over the relationship between Karen and Frank and how it formed. How Karen's character displays both a strong sense of strength and empathy that she then uses to help others, whether it be Frank or Grotto, and even with that conflict of interest (Frank was 110% making sure Grotto was dead and buried), Frank still gravitated to her because of her desire to help shed the truth behind the horrible tragedy that happened to him and his family. Karen was the only one in the law firm to show that empathy, and you see Frank looking over to her frequently during the interviews and when he was on the stand, because she was his anchor that he could ground himself to. Neither like to sugarcoat themselves, and because of that, the gentleness and kindness each showed each other was genuine, and culminates in their desire to protect each other in whichever way they can, and I'm dying once again I hate that we're never gonna get a Punisher s3 with these two aaaaggghhhh

Charlie Cox deserves this so much! He loved this character so much and put everything into it. I truly hope he’s happy with the script and I can’t wait to see him take up the mantle again.
Excited to see Vincent D’onofrio back as well and apparently Elden Henson’s signed a contract to appear too!

Nevermind, y'all can fill me in on whatever shit show Disney+ poops out (to match literally everything they've done since iron man 2) This is not amusing and no one's laughing. Good luck to Mr. Cox and Mr. Bernthal.

Name: Portia Sullivan Species: Human Occupation: Defense Attorney Age: 32 Years Old Played by: Karli Face Claim: Deborah Ann Woll
“I know I said I could handle anything… and I can. But I think I’m in over my head this time.”
At every stage in her life, people always complimented Portia for her idealism and optimism. It was something people always seemed to point out. “You’re so optimistic!” “Your idealism never seems to fade, does it?” Portia quickly learned that these sentences had unspoken second halves. In fact she came to understand that these were not compliments at all, but a form of pity. “You’re so optimistic… even though you were abandoned as a child.” “Your idealism never seems to fade… despite the constant string of rejections.”
However, it remained true that Portia was in fact optimistic and idealistic. Despite having been abandoned at a firehouse in Boston when she was only a few days old, Portia Sullivan always felt like good things were on her horizon. She was smart and personable from a young age, which is why the women at the orphanage were always so perplexed when she never got placed for adoption.
While she longed for a nuclear family, Portia never mourned for what she did not have. Instead she found family in friendships and found purpose in school. After graduating valedictorian, gateways to a better life opened in front of her. All she had to do was pick which one she wanted to walk through. While she had gotten accepted into Georgetown, Yale, Princeton, and Columbia (among other less prestigious institutions) Portia couldn’t bear to leave Massachusetts and she found herself going to Harvard not only for undergrad but also for her legal studies.
After that she spent a year working as a public defender before joining one of the most prestigious criminal defense firms in Boston. Her name regularly landed on the top lawyer lists for the state and even when she lost a case she found herself winning the respect of her colleagues. That was until three years ago when she found herself in the middle of an ethics investigation for mishandling client funds. The investigation found that she didn’t do anything wrong but her firm still decided to fire her, citing client concerns as the reason. The irony of it all was that it was her supervising attorney, not her, who actually committed the misconduct.
Unemployed, devastated, and a pariah in the Massachusetts legal community, Portia received a phone call from an older attorney in a small town called White Crest, Maine who had heard she was looking for a job. He said that he was going to retire and he was looking for someone to take over his criminal defense practice and he wanted it to be her. It seemed odd, but Portia knew she needed to lay low and rebuild her reputation. After taking the necessary steps to get her law license in Maine, she moved to White Crest to take over his practice.
What she thought would be a quick tenure turned into three years. Life was less stressful and she felt more focused than ever. Even though the crimes her clients were accused of often weren’t as thrilling as what she had been working on back in Boston (though she was surprised by the number of murder charges in such a small town), she treated each of them with the same feverish defense. It was that exact dedication, unfortunately, that changed her life.
She was representing a woman about her own age on a public nudity charge. Skinny dipping was a victimless crime in her opinion and the evidence wasn’t too compelling. Wanting to emphasize to her client her level of dedication, Portia made a promise. Little did she know that those words, spoken to what she would later learn was a fae, quite literally bound her to her word - indefinitely. Now she finds herself at a cross section of two worlds, trying as always to remain optimistic about what the future holds.
Character Facts:
Personality: Meticulous, zealous, idealistic, sociable, cunning, compassionate, reactionary, secretive, generous
Portia is fully unaware, but the reason she was abandoned as a child was because she was born human to fae parents. Her father was disgusted by her humanity and wanted to simply kill her. It was her mother who insisted they give her away instead. Unbeknownst to Portia, her birth mother has been gently interfering with her life to keep her close-by (including getting her to move to White Crest).
In her personal life, Portia is very gentle and kind but she is a fierce litigator in the courtroom.
While she preaches honesty and avoids lying when she doesn’t need to, she refuses to discuss the circumstances that led to her getting fired and ultimately moving to White Crest.
She doesn’t know who chose her name, or why they picked it, but she likes to think she was named after Portia from The Merchant of Venice by Shakespeare.
After learning a tiny bit about the supernatural world due to her promise bind, Portia is considering the possibilities that other supernatural beings might need legal representation and is looking to expand her practice accordingly.
She is now very careful about what she says and never uses the P-word anymore.
Has a pet snake named Elle Woods.

Karen Page Week 2022 Day 5: Karen and Foggy
Since season 1 Karen and Foggy developed a beautiful friendship. Foggy was there for her when she needed a friend after her ordeal that almost landed her in jail and almost cost her her life.  These are some of our favorite Karen and Foggy moments.

We’ve said it once, and we’ll undoubtedly say it many times, but it’s always the most unexpected ships that take our hearts and run for the hills. The ships that may not get the endgame we’re hoping for but the ones that leave a transcendent mark regardless. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one of those romantic pairings is Kastle (Frank Castle and Karen Page). And with the news that Karen Page (and Foggy Nelson) are returning, all we need is a reunion—just one, and we’ll go our merry way without complaining. (There might be some complaining.)
Karen Page is an integral character when it comes to Daredevil, both as Matt Murdock’s friend and within the show’s thematic narrative as well. She adds heart in a way that no other character manages, making the grittier series softer, warm, and profoundly memorable. This very heart is why she’s also a central part of The Punisher because her role adds nuance to every scenario where she’s present while she stands as the voice of reason and the beacon of hope simultaneously.

Look, I’m not saying that Kastle cured my depression and solved all my problems. All I’m saying is that Deborah Ann Woll is once again playing Karen Page on a show that is also featuring Jon Bernthal playing Frank Castle and suddenly all my self care got a whole lot easier.
