Open: y/m stumbles into 'Spellbound - Occult Books and Curios', a bookshop doubling as a safe haven to the supernatural.
Looking for: y/m can be a human/supernatural creature/hunter who is looking for help or trouble or something else entirely | give me friends, give me enemies, give me drama and action and angst
My muses: Nick Silva (werewolf), Cass Turner (witch)
When suddenly the creaking door to the occult bookshop was yanked open, Nick startled up from his monotonous paperwork. "Vixe Maria!", - holy mother! - he exclaimed in a mixture of shock and disbelief.
He'd made it almost around the counter, when his clerk emerged from the backroom. Cass was still holding on to the little crystal stone she was pricing when all the ruckus had summoned her like a moth to the light.
Okay but Damien and Danny's vibe together (along with poor confused Nick) makes me laugh and also very unwell (I guess I have a thing for silver haired men??) But it's kinda funny because I got into Danny like... Just before I got into Smosh (I mean I had been following him for a minute before on TikTok but I had started watching his YouTube when my mental health was 📉📉) so I just think it's funny 🤭🤭 anyway Reginald you dog-
Freelancers contain the power to branch out in their magic and other things. Not innately imbued with just one power. DAMN fam's freelancer has some control over elements, and healing, a bit of psychokinesis and tends to keep it at that. Nick the freelancer used some shifting or illusory power to become a Neko for a lay, so we know they can do stuff like that.
What if a good enough agent of chaos used illusory or shifting to become something in the middle but a bit more animal than human, but still on the cusp.
Walked around the woods at night, made strange sounds…
Decided to live life as a cryptid like a Wendigo or skinwalker?
For a while, the Shaw pack wasn't sure which to be more afraid of, Quinn or whatever the fuck is in that forest, all the while it's just some little shit with too much time on their hands….
What if humanborns at D.A.M.N are too scared to leave their homes at night because "we don't know what's trying to talk to us out there" and seasoned magic users actually know what's up. But they don't tell anyone because it's fun to watch them freak out.
I'll bet Lasko and Huxley really wanted to soothe Freelancer but Damien forbade the two from letting them in on it for at most a week.
@mxrdershewxote asked for Fluff Generator Headcanons and got:
Premise: Cass bakes Kenza cookies out of love. Unfortunately Kenza is pretty sure these cookies are a biohazard.
Following their first ever meeting and the subsequent food run to the café across the street from the bookshop, it has become somewhat a ritual for the Kenza and Cass to meet at Spellbound after Cassia's shift ends and opt for pointless snacks. One day Cass had the brilliant idea to surprise Kenza with selfmade cookies, unfortunately she's not the most gifted baker in town and almost all of them were burnt. Ironically the burnt ones weren't the worst of the batch as at least the flavour of ashes was strong enough to cover up the disgusting mistake of getting sugar and salt mixed up. They tried to prank feed the cookies to Damien and Nick with little success before they decided to use them for magic target practice instead.

Premise: Nick is sick with a cold and can't sleep. Damien wakes up from Nick's twisting and turning and has to entertain Nick somehow until they fall asleep.
Before a full moon, Nick sometimes gets restless, distracted or even unfoundedly irate. The first time Damien was unfortunate enough to be around for it they inevitably clashed, with Damien saying something Nick interpreted as tactless and naturally throwing a fit about it. The next time Damien recognises the pattern and decides not to comment on Nick's brain fog, instead he initiates an easy inconsequential conversation. And it really helps. Now before most full moons they can just be seen hanging out talking about the most random topics and they both enjoy it.
Are you familiar with the Sturniolo triplets? I just had a random thought that Angela is Chris, Matt is Damien, and I think Nick would be Tommy. If you don’t know who they are, on TikTok you can watch like one clip of them and I think that’s an accurate description. Why did this randomly pop into my head you may ask? I have no idea, my brain just wanders with bizarre things hoping at least someone can agree lol 😂
ngl Anon this is a CRAZY ask (delusional<3)
I WILL be posting it to see how many people agree :)
meet damien. he used to be called piper like me, but he isn’t anymore. for the best. overboss of nuka-world, director of the institute, general of the minutemen-- he found cheap thrills in the power those roles gave him. the ability to control and command all these people, where if any of them dared to protest him, he could end their life easily with a shot to the head. a belief in synth's humanity and their right to live among the commonwealth has spiralled far beyond that, becoming a 'no matter how many humans die in the process, i will put these synths out into the world'-- and he doesn't even know why he wants to achieve that anymore, he doesn't know what there is to gain from that. friendships have been wrecked along the way, opportunities wasted, and once upon a time he wondered if the institute was the wrong side. but now he knows it's not, it never was, that he is successful here. maybe not happy, but successful. powerful. and that's all he wants now.
