India Police arrests Nigerian for defrauding women on dating app

A Nigerian, alongside three Indians, has been arrested in India for allegedly cheating several Indian women on matrimonial applications, the Indian police said on Thursday. The investigators said the suspects posed as doctors, engineers and information technology professionals to connect with women on several matrimonial apps and took money from them on the pretext of clearing customs fees for gifts. The suspects were identified as Chibaka alias Tall Issa of Nigeria and Delhi residents Aman Kumar (26), Rahul Singh (28), and Santosh Kumar (38), police said. The cybercrime team of Gurugram police disclosed that they recovered 25 mobile phones, 65 ATM cards, 34 cheque books and 12 passbooks from the fraudsters. Assistant commissioner of police (cyber) Priyanshu Diwan, said the suspects had formed a gang and were operating from Delhi in the last few months, Hindustantimes.com reported. According to him, “The Nigerian was the kingpin of the gang and met the other suspects in Laxmi Nagar area of Delhi. They used to scan profiles of the victims on matrimonial sites and later befriended them on social media such as Instagram and Facebook,” he said. Explaining how the culprits were caught, he narrated that they cracked down on the gang members after a 36-year-old woman complained on March 22 that she was duped of ₹16 lakh (about N9m). The woman alleged that on January 26 this year, she received a friend request on Instagram in which the person introduced himself as a doctor living in the United Kingdom. “We exchanged our numbers and started chatting on WhatsApp. The suspect said he would be sending some gold items and £20,000. On January 30, I received a call from a woman who introduced herself as an employee of a courier company in Mumbai and said that gold and foreign currency had arrived in my name,” said Sampa Pal, a resident of DLF Phase-4. The woman asked the victim to deposit ₹55,000 as tax and after receiving the money, she again asked to deposit ₹3,27,920. Again, on February 2, the suspect asked her to deposit ₹3 lakh followed by ₹2.98 lakh. “It did not stop here and in total I deposited ₹16 lakh within a week and realised that I had been cheated as they were asking me to deposit another ₹7.26 lakh,” said Pal. Police said after conducting an investigation, a case was registered under Section 120 B (conspiracy), 419 (impersonating) and 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Cyber Crime police station on February 17. Preet Pal Sangwan, assistant commissioner of police (crime), said they traced the internet protocol addresses of the suspects, and a raid was conducted by a team led by Jasvir Singh, station house officer of the Cyber Crime police station and the suspects were arrested from different places in Delhi on Wednesday night. “During questioning, the suspects revealed that the Nigerian man was deported from Mumbai eight years ago, who returned to India on a Schengen visa and another passport. We are still verifying whether his passport is original or forged. He was continuously active in committing matrimonial frauds,” ACP Sangwan said. The police said the gang had opened more than 100 bank accounts that were used by them to transfer money. One of them used to withdraw money through ATMs from different areas and many times travelled to another city to evade being identified by police, said police. They were asked to pay money in lakhs to “register” the valuables. The victims were then asked to spend more money in the name of securing the gifts and freeing their friends,” he said. 🌱: Wouldn't it be interesting if the last content DLF does for the sequels ended up being in the form of one novel? It containing two POVs (one for Luke and one for Kylo/Ben). The novel being used to unveil in dept Luke(Jake)'s "Fall from Grace" arc, and showing Kylo/Ben's heavy leaning towards the Darkside.

Luke(Jake)'s POV: full of optimist at the start, but then he starts to train his nephew (at his nephew's insistence), and suddenly it feels like someone is watching him. Over the years, he starts having visions to haunt him (Snoke messing with him. But he can't tell), maybe his memories are messed with so that any happy memories of his nephew are screwed with or erased, driving him mad, and it all culminates in the final chapter being a telling of that damn flashback in TLJ.

Kylo/Ben: it also starts rather optimistic, except for his dwelling so easily on the darkside, like he has an affinity for it. He is concerned about his parents, as the reputation of Vader accross the Galaxy has caused people to take their anger out on them, which drives him to be rather power hungry, causing him to try to get Luke to train in the ways of the Force (to obtain power), all due to wanting control and force people to shut up. Maybe the Vader idolization comes out in the form of "They fear Vader so much, I will become like him to scare them into silence" primarily as a defense of his family. Overtime, however, it becomes an obsession, one that grows so much it draws the attention of Snoke. He is fully oblivious to Luke(Jake)'s mental decay or notices but has started to care less and less about his family, only power in his mind. Then the final chapter being a warped reflection of Luke(Jake)'s final chapter.

One big thing that would be shown as consistent throughout this hypothetical book is Han, Leia and Luke's love for Kylo/Ben, which makes his fall and his subsequent actions all the more tragic in a sense, but still irritating as he is still given agency in chosing his path rather than the "he was manipulated" bs that a bunch of people still spew out to this day...

I put waaay too much thought into this idea 😅, a heavy hypothetical, and I honestly don't trust DLF to produce coherent content to try and "save" their trilogy. But whatever.

(Is this thing psychological horror? Yes, yes it is. Which is why DLF would not have the guts to publish anything like it.)

🌱: But if DLF DID publish something like it, with such a story, it would do 2 things:

Somewhat Vindicate Luke Skywalker, as it would bring to light the fact that his TLJ character was (in fact) NOT consistent with his OT characterization, and that there was a reason for it. (By colateral bring shade to RJ's "Luke in TLJ is fully consistent with his characterization in the OT" claim on twitter. Yes. I am still bitter about this)...

Give Agency to Kylo/Ben, as it was his own deliberate choices that led him down the path he was going in the movies

im kind of surprised they haven’t done ANYTHING to try and fill in the gaps. like i kind of expected them to hold off on much until the trilogy was over (either because spoilers or because they never knew wtf they were doing) but you’d think they would try and salvage as much as they can but instead they’re just gonna pretend it didn’t happen (to which im not really complaining lol)

A New Reylo Shipper Reads the TFA Novelization Part 3: In which I Have Squishy Feelings About Rey Being Taken Care Of, and The Dyad Meeting Each Other Makes Me Capslock a Lot

One of the fun things about reading this novel was discovering all of the little differences that hadn’t been all over tumblr. Not that I minded being spoiled. All of those “I should be afraid of YOU” snarky Kylo Ren gifsets brought me great joy. But you know what I didn’t know going in? That Unkar Plutt was supposed to catch up with Rey at Maz’s place, and when he’s about to turn her over to the first order, Chewie shows up and RIPS HIS ARMS OFF.

I get that they likely cut it for time, but it was just really a gratifying scene to read, and I am 100% here for Rey being witness to the fact that there are people in her corner who will rip the arms off of those who would use her and hurt her.

And then we get to the scene where Rey finds the legacy lightsaber and OH BOY.

So Finn just decided to leave for “as far away from the First Order as one can get,” and here’s Rey’s PoV:

“Under the weight of her loneliness Han’s voice seemed to fade, and Maz Kanata’s as well, until there was nothing surrounding her but a silence as deep and profound as the distant reaches of space itself. Then something came, stealthy and unidentifiable, to fill it.”

Part of this is her own individual connection to the Force , but reading backwards, part of this could definitely be her connection to Ben through their dyad bond, because she isn’t alone, neither of them are, even if they don’t know it yet. They always had each other, and no, I didn’t cry a lot at those panels of young Rey from The Rise of Kylo Ren, WHY ARE YOU ASKING???

And then, in the MIDDLE of the flurry of things she sees/hears, THIS HAPPENS…

“Someone, somewhere, somewhen, spoke her name. “Hello? Wreathed in the irrationality of the moment, she called hopefully, but received no answer. A boy appeared at the end of the hallway.”

It was in this moment that I screamed at my kindle, in my best Kylo voice, “WHAT BOY???” No really did she see a much younger version of Ben here? My personal answer from now on is YES SHE DID.

I remember a whole lot of talk a couple of months ago about the following two “I’ll come back for you” lines, and about JJ Abrams confirming who said them, but all I can find now is speculation from before TRoS came out, and that is NOT HELPING ME REMEMBER. If you have a link to the article/interview where Abrams or anyone else clarifies this, please @ me.

She’s seeing Starkiller from the future, here, and I think that’s telling. Because after describing all of the noise of battle, we get…

“Then behind her, another voice. That voice. “Stay here. I’ll come back for you.”

“That” is actually italicized in the text, which means that it’s a voice Rey hears enough to recognize and give importance to it, but WHOSE VOICE? I mean I know that it was left vague intentionally here because ADF didn’t know whose voice it was supposed to be, and neither did anyone else, but the vagueness makes it COMPLETELY possible that this was Ben, and that she’s been hearing little fragments from him for years. This line, though, raises questions that I don’t think anyone at DLF thought about as hard as we are now, but the idea of this being WBW Ben telling her to wait for him because he’s trying to get back to her GIVES ME A LOT OF FEELINGS EVEN IF IT IS NEVER GOING TO BE CANON. (I’m from the school of “canon can go jump in a lava pit if it doesn’t respect the fans or the characters” so I’m an old hand at reimagining things shitty creators screwed up.)

In between this scene and the one where dyad finally sees each other for the first time, we get:

An incredibly frustrating tease of a line from Maz about how she acquired the lightsaber. I want a whole comic about how that thing fell into her hands. TAKE MY MONEY, DLF.

Leia feeling the Hosnian system being destroyed, thinking about Alderaan, and making me very very upset in ways that aren’t fun to read or write about, so…

On to the first meeting! Mostly, I got really sarcastic in my kindle notes at this point.

Rey sees Kylo Ren from a distance for the first time.

“She had seen this man before, in a daydream. In a nightmare.”

...in the weird Force-induced version she just experienced not fifteen minutes ago…

Also, what happened to Rey back at Maz’s place is NOT something I would describe as a daydream, which can only lead me to wonder about but having random “Wtf where did that come from” daydreams about Ben “I am in FULL KYLO COSTUME” Solo in the middle of scavenging a Star Destroyer, shrugging it off as her mind playing tricks on her, and going about her day. Someone PLEASE draw this. (I know this is a reach and I’m nitpicking at less than awesome writing, but it’s day I don’t even know what of quarantine, and this is how I’m making my own fun.)

And the first time he becomes aware of her…

“Sir, we’re still searching for Solo, but the droid that’s wanted was spotted heading west, with a girl.” At this Ren said nothing, but instead looked sharply in the indicated direction.

“WhAT gIrL” - Kylo Ren at this point definitely

“Each shot from her blaster he deflected with the lightsaber’s beam. Almost as if it were a game, she thought in terror as she continued to fire. He was playing with her.”

“Let's see what you can do, Scavenger”. - Kylo Ren playing with the dyad partner he doesn't know he has yet IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE. Typical.

“When he finally spoke, he sounded at once impressed and surprised.”

Ben Solo begins as he means to go on... She is constantly impressing and surprising him.

“So afraid,” he murmured. “Yet I should be the one who should be scared. You shot first. You speak of the Order as if it were barbaric. And yet, it is I who was forced to defend myself against you.”

“Wow you’re SCARED?” he says, looming in black, waving his red lightsaber around, and using the Force to control her…

“Something.” He sounded mystified. “There is something…Who are you?”

She’s a Force user, what you’re feeling is your Force bond, and she's your other half, Kylo my guylo. Get it together, jeez…

“Is it true, then? You’re nothing special after all? You’re just a—Jakku scavenger?”

Keep telling yourself that, KR - Love, Your Future Self

And then there’s this Rey PoV that breaks me a little…

“She’d tried to keep her mind blank, her memory locked, and still he had wormed his way in. He touched her anew. This time the pain of trying to stave him off brought tears streaming down her face.”

I think Daisy gets this across in her performance her really well, but being reminded so starkly of the fact that what he’s doing when he roots around in her memories HURTS HER drew me up short when I read this. I headcanon that this is one of the things Ben spends a lot of time apologizing for later because he feels so guilty about it.

But before I can get too wrapped up in Ben Solo’s occasionally crushing guilt, we have THIS delicious dose of irony: (He’s talking about her affection for Finn, here…)

He drew back slightly, bemused. “You’ve even begun to care for him. A weakness, such distractions.”

YOU HAVE NO IDEA, DO YOU, SIR… COME TALK TO ME WHEN YOU’RE CUTTING YOUR MENTOR IN HALF INSTEAD OF HURTING HER, OK?

And finally… just because the visual of this cracks me up… the novel implies that Kylo Ren let Rey DROP TO THE GROUND when he force-whammied her, instead of catching her like he does on screen. My proof (this is PoV of some random First Order officer):

At a gesture from Ren the young woman standing before him collapsed. [...] He had no wish to join the woman on the ground in a state of oblivion.

WHAT A CAD! Not CATCHING the woman you just made PASS OUT with the Force? Bad form, KR. (Movie Kylo is a gentleman and keeps her from hitting the floor. A++ “not as much of jerk as you could have been” moment.)

And that seems like a good stopping place for Part 3. Next time: I scream about Han and Leia’s characterization as parents and try to defend one of my oldest ships from the outright character assassination this novelization engages in. Also, there’s some scene with Rey in an interrogation chair thingy and Kylo taking his mask off. I had some thoughts.

I will start this by acknowledging: The Rise of Skywalker and the Star Wars saga are, of course, works of fiction. None of the characters are real. However, like any work of fiction- good or otherwise- the story and the characters are meant to be a commentary on the real. And, up until now, I believed the commentary was one of hope and redemption, and healing. I believed in the story, and the characters, because I saw myself and my friends, and my family in them. I saw the love and the tragedy, and the hope. I want to see it again but, to do so, there are some things that need saying. There is a conversation that is in desperate need of being had. And it will get personal, very fast. Right now. Because the most meaningful stories and conversations are meant to be personal. So, here it goes.

I am the abused and the abuser. My mother physically abused me as a child, and psychologically as a teenager. Eventually, the final stage of her abuse was distance- pushing herself away from me so she could not cause me any more pain, not realizing that was just as damaging as all the other forms of abuse. Her signs of remorse and love were shown in giving me a dog, then two, then three- animals who would love me no matter what, and who would come to my defense if ever she thought to strike me again. They were my responsibility, my family, and they saw me at my best and my worst, and I loved them for loving me unconditionally. They were the ones who comforted me when I cried myself to sleep. Storm, he was the first of the three. He and I were inseparable. I loved him, so much, for always choosing me. He loved everyone, but he would always lie beside me on the sofa, in bed, and follow me every time I moved away to go somewhere else. He was everything good in my life, everything kind. Even if he didn’t like other dogs very much, he loved humans and he loved me most of all. Me. When I didn’t believe I could ever be loved. And I swore, the day he died, I would go too. My responsibility would be finished, purpose complete, family gone. And so I would be gone too.

He was everything good in my life, everything kind. And I loved him for it. And I abused him. When he did something “wrong”, or growled at me for cutting too close to the quick on his nails or to his skin when I cut his hair, I would physically lash out at him. When I wanted no one near me after a beating from my mother, or another round of psychological warfare, he would come to comfort me and sometimes I would choke him. A few times, I would kick him, or shove him away from me on the bed or sofa- knowing he would fall to the floor. I once threw one of my other dogs, Rain, against the wall in my anger and pain. And part of me wanted them to die, so I could finally be free. I wanted to be free from love and longing and pain. I wanted to be free of life, and be gone. And if they died, of old age or by my hand, then I could finally just fucking go. And I wouldn’t feel guilty about committing suicide, because I deserved to go. I was a monster.

In the end, I moved away from home and kept myself away from my mother and my dogs. I was not there for when Storm passed, and that will always be a weight I carry for never being there for him in the end, to tell him how sorry I was and how much I loved him and to comfort him as he comforted me so many times. I don’t know if I have the courage to go back and see my mother or my dogs again, even after reconciling with my mother this year. I don’t know if I’ll ever be comfortable having a child, knowing who I can be. Who I am. I am the abused, and the abuser.

So, imagine the hope I felt in seeing a character like Ben Solo on screen. At first, in The Force Awakens, I was hesitant to invest myself in someone who felt so much like me; I hated myself, and I didn’t deserve a good life- so why would he get one, either? But then I watched The Last Jedi, and I had such hope. There was so much love in him, in Rey, and between them, and between Ben and his mother. The source of his fall came to light, and his ability to change and protect who he loved also came to light. There was the promise of healing, redemption, and rehabilitation. Then, The Rise of Skywalker gave healing, gave redemption, and then Ben Solo died. He got his small moment of happiness, of love, after years of self-loathing and self-destruction in a war between light and dark, and he died before he could live a better life.

As I watched him finally smile, I already knew he was going to die. I knew it the moment he clawed his way out of the pit and went to Rey. I knew it again, for certain, when he smiled. I knew that relief, that happiness, that peace of mind, was to justify his dying. He died at peace, knowing he saved what he loved. He died at peace. His responsibility finished, purpose complete, family gone. So, he was gone, too. And led into the Force by his beloved mother, who he never got to reconcile with in life. And I watched him and Leia fade, and I thought: yeah, that makes sense. And then I watched him fade completely from the story, erased as Rey was not depicted mourning him, as Rey went on to take the Skywalker name while the Solo name vanished along with Ben- no force ghost to be seen. And I thought: yeah, that’s how life really works. And then social media got to work calling it a satisfactory ending, saying Ben deserved to die, saying he had to pay for his sins, saying I wouldn’t have cared so much if he wasn’t physically attractive (thank you Daniel Jose Older), and I know: no, that’s not right.

We were sold a fairy-tale, a hopeful ending to a 40-year story of tragedy upon tragedy, of abuse upon abuse. We were sold a story that would come full-circle. And they did come full circle, right back to Rey as Shmi in the Tatooine desert, the virginal mother of Skywalker. Except, she is alone, without her soulmate or her belonging. She carries on her back two legacies of pain and death. The Skywalker and Solo bloodlines are gone. Anakin Skywalker’s wrongs and pains are never fully healed because while Ben Solo, his grandson and heir to his legacy, saved the love of his life… he never got to be with her and raise a family in the way his parents and his grandparents could not. The cycle of neglect and abuse is not broken, just buried. Just like his story, which is being misinterpreted/slandered by LF creatives and re-written by supplementary works to shape him into a flat, one-dimensional villian he never was.

What is hopeful about that ending? What is hopeful about telling a story in which an abused child grows up to repeat the cycle of abuse, finally manages to break it, and then sacrifices his life for love… only for people to smear the story with their inability to forgive and heal? What is hopeful about communicating to so many that, even if they break the cycle of abuse, they will still die hated and unforgiven?

I’m trying my best not to let such thoughts and beliefs and misfortunes impact my own personal healing process. But we were promised a fairy-tale. A story to tell children about love and belonging and family. Instead, we got a brutal reality. And I get art is supposed to reflect reality, but it is also supposed to build upon it and create a nourishing dialogue. Nothing DLF has chosen to do during and after the release of The Rise of Skywalker nourishes a healthy dialogue or a healing process.

Did you ever get to read the original reddit leak by the AT-AT Chat youtuber (ATATCHAT1357 on reddit)? He had 4 points - one of which them was the return of Palpatine. It was deleted off reddit and according to him, lawyers hired by Disney came to question him. He posted a video about it after the teaser was released but then deleted it a couple days later. How do I send you the screencaps if you want to see it?

Leak One: Han will appear to Kylo Ren at some point as a vision and it will set him off into a fit of rage.

Leak Two: Luke, as a force ghost, will catch Anakins lightsaber when Rey throws it at him. Its almost the antithesis of the TLJ moment. It shocks Rey.

Leak Three: Palpatine will be back in some form. I guess he has been filmed BUT I have no idea if thats a flashback, force ghost, etc.

Leak Four: In the beginning of the film, Leia will somehow be training Rey a little.

I see where the whole “Leia is training Rey” thing came from, then. Popping up again in “new leaks,” which are probably based on this, if anything. The Kylo rage thing is what set off the whole “Han is back” rumor a while back. And it’s funny to me that more people didn’t run with the Palpatine bit (esp the currrent “leakers”).

Interesting to see here. Kind of vague, which is actually what I expect for leaks (not a full on plot synopsis and dialogue LOL). Wonder if DLF actually did show up at their house, or if he got a DMCA takedown notice on youtube. Last thing I’d want would be Di$ney laywers showing up in my email/house lol.

It took me long enough! BUT, I thought I would drop this here for my fellow Reylo's, Bendemptioner's, etc. Some speculation is contained in this video, so be warned in that regard incase you would like to experience TROS without expectations etc. My basic synopsis here is: Luke, as a Force Ghost, will force Kylo to face his past in a literal way. He will do exactly what he did on Crait with the dice, expect with a lot more things. I believe this will get his mind on the right path for redemption. At least, this is my POV.

We’ll see what (if anything) ends up being accurate.

Then and Now

Ten years ago, a search for real estate in Chandigarh would have started in the office of a local real estate agent or by just driving around town. At the agent's office, you would spend an afternoon flipping through the pages of active property listings from the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS). After choosing properties of interest, you would spend many weeks touring each property until you found the right one. If you spot a property of interest in a real estate website, you can typically view photos online and maybe even take a virtual tour. You can then check other Websites, such as the local county assessor, to get an idea of the property's value, see what the current owner paid for the property, check the real estate taxes, get census data, school information, and even check out what shops are within walking distance-all without leaving your house!

While the resources on the Internet are convenient and helpful, using them properly can be a challenge because of the volume of information and the difficulty in verifying its accuracy. Even a neighborhood specific search for real estate can easily return thousands of Web sites. With so many resources online how does an investor effectively use them without getting bogged down or winding up with incomplete or bad information? Believe it or not, understanding how the business of real estate works offline makes it easier to understand online real estate information and strategies.

The Business of Real Estate

Real estate is typically bought and sold either through a licensed real estate agent or directly by the owner. The vast majority is bought and sold through real estate brokers. (We use "agent" and "broker" to refer to the same professional.) This is due to their real estate knowledge and experience and, at least historically, their exclusive access to a database of active properties for sale. Access to this database of property listings provided the most efficient way to search for properties.

In addition to Internet marketing, listing agents may also help the seller establish a price, hold open houses, keep the seller informed of interested buyers and offers, negotiate the contract and help with closing. When an agent provides all of these services it is referred to as being a full service listing arrangement. While full service listing arrangements are the most common type of listing arrangement, they are not the only option anymore.

Changes in the technology behind the real estate in Panchkula business have caused many agents to change the way they do business. It is no longer just about access to property listing information. Buyers and sellers historically found agents by referrals from friends and family. The Internet now provides ways to directly find qualified agents or to research the biography of an agent referred to you offline.

One such site, http://bholaestates.com/, is quickly becoming the LinkedIn or Facebook for real estate agent. On this site an agent can personalize their profile, start a blog, post photos and videos and even create a link to their web site for free. Once unique content is added to their profile page the search engines notice!

Some have argued that the Internet makes REALTORS and the MLS less relevant. We believe this will be false in the long run. It may change the role of the agent but will make knowledgeable, qualified, and professional REALTORS more relevant than ever. In fact, the number of real estate agents has risen significantly in recent years. No wonder, the Internet has made local real estate a global business.

Finding Real Estate for Sale

Despite the widely available access to real estate listings, many believe that MLS databases continue to offer the most complete and accurate source of real estate information. Most MLSs now distribute content to other Web sites (primarily operated by real estate agents). An excellent starting point for MLS originated content is the national NAR Web site, realtor.com, which is also the most popular web site for searching real estate listings. Virtually all local and regional MLSs have an agreement with realtor.com to display much of their active listing inventory.

Some local and regional MLS systems also have a publicly accessible Web site. However, to get complete information you will most likely still need to find a qualified local REALTOR. Many local real estate agent in New Chandigarh will also provide their customers (via email) new listings that are input into the MLS that match their predefined criteria. This can be very helpful to a busy buyer.

There are also many Websites that display both real estate agent listed and for-sale-by-owner properties. Some of the more popular Web sites include zillow.com and trulia.com. These sites offer other services too. For example, zillow.com is best known for its instantaneous property valuation function and trulia.com for providing historical information. Another source of properties for sale is the state, regional, and local Web sites associated with brokerage companies; for example, remax.com or prudential.com. Search engines like yahoo.com and classified advertising sites like craigslist.com also have a large number of active real estate listings from which bhola real estate is one and best.

One key difference between these sites is how much information you can access anonymously. For example, at trulia.com you can shop anonymously up to a point but then you will need to click through to the agent's Website for more information. Many new real estate search engines allow you to sift through listings without having to fill out a form. The best strategy is to browse a few of the sites listed above to find geographic areas or price ranges that are interesting like-DLF New Chandigarh dealer . Once you get serious about a property, then that is the time to find a qualified REALTOR and of your choice to conduct a complete search in the local MLS.

It also never hurts to search the old-fashioned way by driving through the neighborhoods that interest you. There is no substitute for physically, not virtually, walking the block when you are making a serious investment decision. In this sense, real estate is still a very local business and standing in front of the property can lead to a much different decision than viewing a Web page printout.

I share your desire for complexity but if they wanted to make a grey political story LF would not have invoked neo nazi imagery with the FO. Any time a creator does that it’s a shorthand for b&w conflict bc it’s basically the only b&w conflict we have irl. Individual chars can be redeemed but I have zero doubt that the moral-political axis will remain unchanged in ix. If LF wanted us to question sides their villains would be based on a different analogue.

Ok, so first of all I may get a little foul-mouthed here but tbh to a person raised and living in a country which had dubitable pleasure of being stuck between Third Reich and USSR, has never been full of innocent tolerant lambs in their own right and is currently dealing with the freshest wave of extreme right - because mind you, they’re not neo-nazis, since nazism is only limited to Germany, at least according to them - politicizing GFFA is a laugh but really a cry. So if that’s a sensitive or in any way triggering issue to someone, I apologize and please, just stop here.

I dunno what to tell you, anon. That OT didn’t stray away from Riefenstahl style for rebels too?

That resistance uniforms aren’t exactly immune to their own connotations?

Während in Heidelberg seine Wohnung geplündert und seine Schriften verbrannt wurden, engagierte er sich von Frankreich aus publizistisch gegen den Nationalsozialismus in Deutschland und unterstützte aus Deutschland nachkommende Emigranten. Von Ende August 2021 bis Ende Juni 2022 präsentieren die Redaktion der Sendung Zeitfragen und das ZZF gemeinsam die Reihe »100 Jahre politischer Mord in Deutschland«. Jeden Mittwoch um 19:25 Uhr widmen wir uns für knapp fünf Minuten der Geschichte rechtsgerichteter Gewalt gegen die Demokratie. Den Auftakt bildet am 25. August 2021 ein Gespräch zwischen Winfried Sträter (DLF) und Martin Sabrow (ZZF). Die einzelnen Radio-Beiträge verdeutlichen, dass die politischen Morde jener Zeit nur die drastischste Form des rechtsradikalen Kampfes gegen die neue demokratische Ordnung waren. Sie erörtern die Bemühungen, aber auch das Versagen von Staat und Gesellschaft, sich der rechtsterroristischen Bedrohung zu erwehren.
