He has only 13 goals in league, he is not even in the top 5 for pichichi this season, has been underperforming the whole season and still blames his teammates for not creating enough chances (he cant score). The club is responsible for not treating snd dealinh Fati's injuries well and Xavi not trusting him like he did with Dembelé also didnt help. He was pretry good at the end of the season snd Nations League before he was sent to Brighton (he did well ebfore injury again). I think he deserves at least one more chance

All emotions aside from a completely logical outlook, I’d keep Ansu and maybe loan him out another season if need be. Ansu isn’t a bum by any means, and even if his injuries have affected his potential I wouldn’t say that means he’s a total lost hope. The loan to Brighton was a bust, but I think if he was given the opportunity to play under a coach that actually values his development then he may be able to find his confidence again. I’d rather keep him then buy Joaõ Félix, and even if Barça end up buying a new LW this summer I still think it’d be beneficial to keep Ansu as a backup just because the club lacks depth in that position.

I totally agree with you. I too would rather keep him over Felix and I think Ansu would've done much better if he was given the opportunities and trust given to Felix or Ferran for example but he never did. He deserves another chance

Xavi has two assistant coaches, his brother and this other guy Sergio Alegre. If he’s against the idea of replacing Óscar then I don’t see why he can’t replace Alegre instead. Sergio Alegre isn’t an experienced assistant manager either, so I think replacing him while keeping Óscar would be a good compromise if Xavi is totally against the idea of getting rid of his brother.

I really hope that after this injury Gavi has a little more self-preservation. I don't want him to change the whole game, but only God knows what I'll be like every time he jumps up and fights for the ball. Although I'm not 100% in favor of xavi staying, at least for gavi and his return, xavi will be very important in these aspects.

I hope so too tbh like I love his character as it is and it's what makes him so special but it wouldn't hurt to just be careful the first few months 😭😭

gavi was never arrogant or an idiot on the field, he is just aggressive in the way he plays and they hate him. on the other hand, there are real idiots like garnacho and they love suck their cock. as there are players with personality 😡 and players with personality 😊
