I can’t put in words what I feel whenever I sing “I’m just mad as hell cause I loved this place for so long” it doesn’t just reminds me of a pass lover, it reminds me of the fact that I had to leave my home country when I didn’t want to and that was the biggest tragedy of my life.

As someone who will defend reputation till her dying breath, I really hope reputation (taylor’s version) will not see the light of day for a very long time. Taylor has just released 31 new songs that can be considered as some of the best work of her career so far. Can we please take some time to really enjoy, live and celebrate the moment for once?

so much of debut is about taylor observing the people in her life. tied together with a smile, stay beautiful, mary’s song, even cold as you to an extent tell the stories of others, and they’re placed alongside extremely personal songs like a place in this world, the outside, and tim mcgraw among others. you’re seeing someone slowly go from watching others go through life to developing her own emotions and identity—all while immortalizing them and younger versions of herself in her music.

I love everyone who’s inspired me to write a song, whether you know it or not. I love anyone who has ever turned the volume up when my song comes on the radio, anyone who has bought this album. Anyone who can sing along to my songs when I play them live. Anyone who’s ever requested my song on the radio, or even remembered my name. If you ever see me in public, I want to meet you. I will thank you myself. You have let me into your life, and I will never be able to thank you enough for that. I love YOU, and I love God for putting you in my life.
