Ok, I don’t know if this stood out to anyone else, but I’ve always loved this scene from Claw of the Wild.
Like, when Sam gets carried away, blasting Walker and his goons, Danny picks her up, physically removing her from the situation. But, he places her down gently, because he would never harm a hair on her head. And, I think it’s so sweet, because yeah he is using physical force (so to say), but it’s in this sweet, loving way, and Sam is totally 100% safe.
Like, yeah, he is stronger and he knows it, but he is using that strength to keep her safe and protect her.

Maybe a hot take: I dislike more the episode ¨Masters of All Time¨ than i do ¨Frightmare¨ and ¨Claw of the Wild¨.
With ¨Frightmare¨ and ¨Claw of the Wild¨ i feel i can have some fun with them because they are standard ¨Danny fights ghost of the week¨ episodes. They are weaker than your usual since the main focus is doing Danny and Sam shipping. It lacks the characterization other episodes usually have. Despite of this, i can still enjoy them for concept ( Frightmare) or a character returning (Wolf)
In contrast, ¨Masters of All Time¨ is an episode full of frustrating plotholes followed by more plotholes. The whole episode is a mess that stops me for enjoying it. The alternative timeline doesn’t add much to the characters or the story nor it does have important consequences. It’s never explained what caused the ecto-acne to appear again, it just happens. Plus, characters being dumbed down (which plenty of people have pointed this out).
Plus the lesson is something that Danny has learned before ( Maternal Instincts; A Million Dolar Ghosts) and it could have been executed in other ways that made more sense.

You ever see something and wonder “Why don’t I love it?”
I think this episode has so many great things about it.
A haunted summer camp for teens? With monsters in the woods and all that? Yes, please! Why didn’t we get a Danny Phantom episode set in one sooner! Think of the Friday the 13th references they could make!
A genuine mystery involving people slowly disappearing? That’s great. I actually didn’t guess where it was going for a little while.
The return of Wolf and Walker, (who’s shown himself to be a pretty intimidating threat in previous episodes?) I’m down.
By all accounts I should love this episode... But it just didn’t really grab me and I had the hardest time figuring out why because all the right ingredients are there. After some thought I think the reason why is because the episode lacks focus. In addition to what I just described above, this episode shows us:
Danny’s blink and you miss it character arc of learning to appreciate nature more.
Each of the side characters like the A listers, and the teacher’s reactions to the disappearances.
Sam’s disappointment over camp not being what she thought it would be.
and what feels like a whole lot Sam/Danny shipping moments that stick out because they add very little plot wise (And I’m personally a very ‘take it or leave it’ kind of person when it comes to Amethyst Ocean, but it annoyed me just how much it felt like the story’s pacing was coming to a halt to sprinkle those moments in there.)
And all of these elements compete with each other for time in this 19 minute episode. The parts you’d think would get the most screen time feel rushed and there are a lot of scenes and jokes that should have been cut for time and because they stop the story’s momentum.
To me this episode almost feels like a great example of the writer’s advice ‘Kill your darlings’, meaning that sometimes you may write in scenes you really love but need to remove or tweak them because they don’t fit the story you’re trying to tell for various reasons. There aren’t too many scenes I find out right terrible in this episode but there are plenty of scenes that could have been shortened or cut because they screw up the pacing and they’re not necessary for the plot in comparison to other scenes that could have used more attention.
I would love to hear other people’s opinions on this. Anyone really love this episode? Dislikes it? Thinks it’s forgettable? Or are you like me and are frustrated with how good you could see this episode being but failing to live up to that?

Harpy eagle, the largest eagle in the world looks like a person in a bird costume, but judging by the size of his talons, I wouldn't want to make fun of him face to face. They live primarily in the upper canopy layer of tropical lowland forest and are considered "endangered species" in Central America due to the rapid decline in their numbers as a result of deforestation. Less than 50,000 of them can be seen over the world.
Harpy eagles have a hearty appetite and enjoy munching on a variety of monkeys, tree porcupines, sloths, coatis, birds, snakes, and lizards.

Saw pictures of velvet worms on my dash again and now I'm thinking about how nice it would be if they were big and liked to be pet. And maybe they'd crawl on your lap and knead on you with their nubby little feet before curling up into a cute little spiral. They're purring also.

just experienced sleep paralysis for the first time but didnt make the connection right away cause i always thought it would be super distressing and scary
in my case i just woke up and heard pitter patter and rustling paper like something small was walking on my bedroom tiles and going through my project notebooks
couldnt breathe and it was impossible to move and turn on the light, but i thought i was still too sleepy so i was just mildly pissed at myself as well as the idea of something messing with my stuff!!! then i could suddenly breathe again and saw it was nothing
