I think it’s hilarious and sweet that Raphael and Mephistopheles are friends.

They are literally polar opposites.

Raphael doesn’t really care or understand social etiquette and opinions and is 100% loyal to the Celestial Realm

Mephistopheles is the opposite. He cares very much about reputation and what people think of him and is 100% loyal to the Devildom.

And yet they get along well enough they threw a Christmas party together.

i’m looking back at my time on this blog and realizing i’ve been oversharing quite a bit to you strangers who never asked. i’m going to try to stop that.

Out of curiosity what did the scrungly detective do?

not a detective, but a journalist!

spoilers for sdra2 but that games been out for years so idk if anyone cares.

he started as this cute and kinda awkward guy who just wanted to get the latest scoop!

turns out he faked that personally and is working for the bad guys, basically, but then got pissed off and left them, except he’s still kind of rude and distant to other characters. and is partially responsible for the death of a kind and beloved character. he’s also responsible for most of the bad shit that happened in this chapter by manipulating another beloved character and getting everyone locked up in a building with no food. everyone is pissed at him and he’s losing his goddamn mind.

he is currently (where i’m at rn) threatening to shoot the mastermind of the killing game except his hand got blown off instead hehe :)

i love him.
