#Netflix is officially returning to Regency London for two more seasons of #Bridgerton. Netflix ordered a 3rd & 4th season renewal for the period drama from EP Shonda Rhimes, based on Julia Quinn's best-selling novels. The 2nd season is currently in production and remains in keeping with the novels as it tells a new romance story of Lord Anthony Bridgerton's quest for love. Season 2 will chronicle the pursuit of a suitable marriage for the eldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony { #JonathanBailey } as chronicled in the second book of Quinn’s Bridgerton series, The Viscount Who Loved Me. What a delightful surprise! 🐖🐖🐖 When Candlewick books sent me a copy of "A Piglet Named Mercy" (2019) by Kate DiCamillo, for consideration in the Read With River Book Club's Best of 2019 list, I was a bit hesitant, because although I was familiar with the Mercy Watson chapter books, I'd never read one. Well, I needn't have worried! "A Piglet Named Mercy" is absolutely adorable, and totally accessible as a standalone story. It's a sweet story of how pets (even and maybe particularly unusual ones) become family in the most unexpected ways, illustrated in heartwarming retro style by Chris Van Dusan. It's an obvious recommendation with no hesitation on my part at all. Molly speculation on the episode names pls !!!

So. I now think the major plot deviation in episode 3 is that the bee sting happens much sooner.

Which I think results in one of 2 scenarios:

Anthony and Kate are engaged for most of the season. OR

Anthony calls off his courtship of Edwina, and begins courting Kate.

I think it’s the latter. Which explains why he’s acting like a jealous toddler in 90% of the stills. Particularly the boat scene.

Though… an Unthinkable Fate is a curious title, I think… I don’t know. I honestly could not figure out this timeline before, let alone now.

And we know Kate nearly give Anthony permission to marry Edwina in episode 4 while they dance “Can you make her happy?”

So it’s probably a mislead and that’s the episode we see Edmund die in.

Yes. I think that’s it.

I actually think The Sting™️ happens directly after Anthony gets dunked in the river.

With only a week to go I don’t think I will but I’m along for the ride
