Who is most likely to have their heartbroken? Who is most likely to comfort someone? And who is most likely to do the heartbreaking?

Oh goodie. This is the kind of question I love contemplating when it comes to the righteous and divine.

Anna Marie really does give off that charming Southern mother energy, doesn’t she? If you got your heart all trampled over, she’d be there with some form of pie piecing it back together again – but the opposite might be true when it comes to Mr. LeBeau. Every time he looks at her it seems like his chest is cracking right in two. Talk about complications. Barry Allen and Steve Rogers seem to have developed quite the friendship, and they’re both nice guys. If I’m predicting, and I am, I’d say Barry will end up with a very wet shoulder when Agent 13 gets her way. Poor Cap doesn’t know what’s about to hit him.

I’d say Sandsmark and Kent are due for a cliff dive any time soon, but they’ve already hit the rocks all on their lonesome. Hope that misplaced anger won’t get anyone hurt, though I do have popcorn on hand just in case. Speaking of misplaced anger … let’s hope Alex Summers doesn’t get Magneto’s little girl all riled up. We know what happens when metallokinetics get testy in love – and damn, if Oliver Queen plays his usual part, I’ll be getting screamed out of every weapons deal for the next six months before I even get my hand on a gun. Black Canary is one woman even I would avoid pissing off.

Tony’s curiosity was piqued already when Steve commented on the girl across the room, suggesting that Tony would enjoy talking to her. He kept her in the periphery of his vision for part of the night, and it was when he saw a familiar face - at least, a familiar facial cloak - in the form of Nebula walking through the metal detectors at the entrance. Predictably they went off, and Tony made his way over to intervene, but he found that Steve’s new acquaintance got there first. Nebula tried again, walking through smoothly, and yeah, Tony was more than intrigued now.

“It’s funny,” Tony said, making his way over when he saw that Lorna was standing in the middle of the party alone, looking as if she would rather be literally anywhere else. “You’d think a guy like Fisk would upgrade his machinery so it stopped going on the fritz so often. It almost makes you think someone is sabotaging it.” He turned around to her, a small conspiratorial smirk on his face as he held out his hand towards her. “Tony,” he introduced. “I like the boots.”

The last thing Tony expected to see when he walked into his kitchen was the very woman who had stormed through his defences a matter of months before, demanding that he sacrificed his home and place of business to be used as the centre for an offensive against his own government (although Tony’s allegiance to said government had always been tentative at best). He blinked a few times as he walked in, then shrugged, heading straight for the fridge.

“You get that from your dad, you know,” he commented. “The whole ‘showing up when least expected’ shtick.” The fact that she was sitting here now meant she knew FRIDAY hadn’t tried to stop her. She knew Tony didn’t consider her a threat, despite her power. She knew that, if anything, he agreed with what they did during the siege – even if it stung, somewhat. “I heard,” he said, the humor draining from his tone as he turned back to look at her, turning serious. “About your injuries, I mean. I tried to send flowers, but I’m pretty sure they thought carnations from an Avenger would be laced with cyanide, or something. You want some orange juice?”
