Intro Post

hey there! i'm mal, and this is my sideblog for all of my original warrior cats content! this includes original characters, fanclans, and fanfiction created by me. i have been brainrotting about warriors cats for about six years now and have no intentions of stopping anytime soon!

my main blog is @/creampuffqueen, where i also post tons of warriors content, as well as other fandom stuff. this blog is purely to help me organize my original warriors content, as my other blog is a bit messy for this kind of thing.

this blog is not a safe place for radfems/terfs, conservatives, or people just generally looking to start discourse. as for everyone else, please just be respectful and we'll get along great! now onto the kitty stuff!

Hi! I was in the server before in CanyonClan, but had to leave unexpectedly awhile back due to personal offline issues. I saw that it's only going to be Creek and Briar next time you open, but if I wanted to re-apply would it be possible to mention I'd like to try and re-join my original Clan?

We can probably make an exception, just be clear in one of the text portions that you wish to be considered for CanyonClan instead, and be sure to include the character you played originally so we know who you are!

some fun lil worldbuilding bits from my fanclans!!

treadclan cats love call and repeat songs

prairieclan cats spend lots of time inlaying stones into the sides of their tunnels to tell a story with the different textures and shapes

floeclan cats are always touch-starved and will snuggle with other cats at any chance they get

canyonclan apprentices will surf in the rapids of the river running through their camp for fun on hot days

birdclan cats learn to mimic different birdcalls to help with hunting

beachclan cats have a celebration where they watch baby sea turtles hatch and make their way to the sea

🌸- Antler

💥- Little or Veil

🌸 How did your character grow up? What was their childhood like?

Antler's parents, Redstem and Hollyfoot, were very average warriors. Both content to be in the background keeping the clan running rather than vying for Deputy or chasing some great ambition. Antler enjoyed a rather peaceful childhood. He was allowed to just be a kid, unlike the generations that would follow, and that forged a very solid foundation for him, one that resulted in the kind, humorous, proud cat he is today. That is, until Redstem has an accident during a hunting patrol when Antlerpaw is 12 moons old- a squirrel he was chasing up a tree turned around and fought back- scratching and biting, shocking him enough to throw the warrior off his balance and send him plummeting to the ground below. Redstem died a quick and rather painless death in the end, snapping his neck from the way he fell and dying in an instant.

Strangely enough- Hollyfoot mourned... but seemed less like she was grieving and more like she felt guilty? The answer as to why would come in the next few weeks when she revealed to the clan that she was pregnant, and they were clearly not Redstem's kits when they were born. Hollyfoot claimed they had a rogue sire, which is fine, but what made this such a scandal is the fact that for the timeline to line up, she would've had to have gotten pregnant while Redstem was still alive. Antlerpaw felt incredibly betrayed and knew his father would've too, but nonetheless he decided he would be there for his half siblings no matter what.

Antlerpaw was not alone through this time in the slightest, he had many friends! As a young apprentice, Bearkit was taken in by the clan, and the big kit took to shadowing Antlerpaw who he admired, they became fast friends. Then there was Forestpaw, Troutpaw, Bumblepaw, many others of their generation, and of course, his two closest friends, Slatepaw and Pineconepaw.

After they were made warriors, the trio (now known as Antlerblaze, Slatefall, and Pineconeclaw) made a shocking discovery. Hollyfoot took his half-siblings out to the CanyonClan border in the middle of the night shortly after they became 'paws, and Pineconeclaw followed them, suspicious as to what the hell this was... it turned out that Hollyfoot was introducing them to their father. A CanyonClan warrior named Eaglethorn. They kept the secret to protect his half-siblings from that half clan stigma- until Rootpaw was carried off by an eagle while out with his mother. This is when Antlerblaze revealed the truth or the affair, believing it was a punishment from StarClan for Hollyfoot's codebreaking. It was an eagle that took him after all... Hollyfoot ended up being exiled and was never seen again and Brackenpaw ended up taking on her late-brother's prefix as her warrior name in honor of him, becoming Brackenroot.

That's about the end of his childhood and adolescence- I may have gone a little too in depth there but hey! I love this big man!

💥 Does your character have any habits that impact them negatively?

OH DOES SHE. Littlepaw is a bundle of bad habits and poor decision making! She's a small unremarkable apprentice amongst brilliant peers being trained by one of the clan's best warriors- now deputy- Sunstorm. She causes trouble and acts out as a way to get attention... even though it is often negative attention- it reminds her that she is still there- that people can still see her. This habit is only getting worse...

Beetlepaw– 🤍 - what does perfect happiness look like to your character?

Perfect happiness is being able to turn invisible whenever she wants, so she can choose when and how others see her. It's cats listening to her when she says something's wrong, and her being strong enough to keep everyone safe, so she doesn't have to worry about anyone else failing. It's a shaded, secret den filled with all the things they love, their mushroom garden and their bone collection. It's a sweet voice, warm fur, and familiar hazel eyes that have always meant safety.

Hawthornberry– 🏅- what is your character’s reputation within their clan? what about the other clans? is your character popular?

I don't know if popular is the right word, but Hawthornberry is very beloved in CanyonClan! She's been a monarch for more than half of her life, so pretty much anyone under the age of 50 moons in CanyonClan was at least partially raised by her! In many cases, her reputation is either as a calm and levelheaded older cat to look to for advice, or straight up just as "mom." She's a pillar of support for the other monarchs (be them new parents or other perma-monarchs) as much as she's a caretaker and nurturer for the kits. She hasn't really been to the borders much since the war, though, so her reputations with the other Clans kind of depends on how old they are. Older cats might remember her better as a rambunctious young warrior, but if they met on the battlefield, they might know her as a fierce and efficient field medic of sorts. And of course some folks in the other Clans know her from her and her daughter's efforts during the murder investigations! Not well-known among the other Clans, but being a homebody means she's there for her own Clan quite a lot.

Rose Light– ♈️ - what zodiac sign would your character be? (and, if you wanna get crazy, what would their birth chart be like?)

According to the timeline, Rosie would be either a Virgo or a Libra and like. oh my god does she fit Libra. 100000% Libra

Hopfeather– 🥩 - what’s your character’s diet like? what are their favorite and least favorite foods?

Hop's diet is pretty typical for a TideClan cat! Lots of aquatic and semi-aquatic critters – fish, amphibians, small mammals that do alright with water, etc. Her favorite prey is bluegill, she thinks they're delicious! As for least favorite..... recent experiences may have sworn her off of turtles for a while.

Merry River– 🧸 - does your character have a specific object that soothes them?

Not really! Merry's an experience over items kinda guy! Maybe it might serve him better if he had a little more sensitivity and sentimentality about objects, but he prefers actions and experiences in most cases. If he needs to calm down he'll usually try to throw himself into doing something productive. Unclear if it truly relaxes him or just tires him out enough to sleep a little better.

Specklestone– ❄️ - what is your character’s favorite season? what about their least favorite season?

I don't know if Speckle has a favorite or least favorite! I think leafbare is probably her least favorite by default simply because providing for the Clan is hardest in the cold season. Leafbare and leaf-fall don't have good connotations in her mind because of the war stuff, but she otherwise doesn't have very many strong personal feelings about them. I don't know if she has a favorite season either – she just likes it when it's warm enough to warrant a swim.

so i really WANT to post the other guides i have for my fanclans. but for none of them did i go into as much obsessive detail as floeclan. so i kind of feel like i have to keep working on them until they have enough info to be similar to floeclan

and like yeah a lot of floeclan's extra pages were made up by their unique rank system. but some of the clans also have unique rank systems and don't have as many pages as floeclan. but also many of the guides feel complete as is

so i'm torn

🎨Lilac And Dusty- does your character have a unique skill that sets them apart from others?

I'm not sure if it's a skill or not, but Lilacsnap is an incredibly resilient cat. Whether they realize it at the time or not, there is something in them that refuses to give up or give in. In a physical sense, at least. She can push herself past most healthy limits her body tries to place on her.

Dustymeadow doesn't think he has any special skills, but he has a very sharp eye for detail. He can tell songbirds apart even if they're from the same species and unconsciously watches the skies for minute changes in the weather.

📖 Gale And Cinder- does learning come easily to your character or is it hard for them to pay attention?

Galefang has to work very hard for any skill they've got. Hunting and fighting do not come naturally to them but they're stubborn enough to keep pushing themself. Because of this, she still feels like she has a lot to prove about her place as a warrior.

Cinderthorn (thanks to a number of good rolls) has a bit of a knack for picking up new skills. She's so curious about the world and has loved learning since she was little. She always puts in a big effort to get better, though, and she loves practicing drawing and weaving and hunting as often as she can.

🏅Jasper And Wisteria- what is your character’s reputation within their clan? what about the other clans? is your character popular?

Jasperchasm isn't a loud cat within CreekClan. He doesn't speak up during meetings or approach groups he isn't a part of to chat, but one on one, he's pretty personable! He tries to make his friends happy and has tried his hand at mentoring more than once. Given that, I think those he isn't close with in Creek might see him as aloof and maybe a bit stuck up, but his friends know differently. He's just stuck up ;). Outside of CreekClan, it's hard to say. His old friends in CanyonClan still love him (he still can hardly believe that), but the rest of his former Clanmates probably don't care enough to be bothered by him one way or another. BriarClan is likely similar because while he was a fierce warrior and Duskwatcher's apprentice, he was not a killer so his impression on them is limited.

Wisteriamoon is a steady figure within StormClan. Her quiet confidence makes her a reliable shoulder for any cat to come to for advice or comfort. But there are a few that know her long fuse is a bad one to set off. If you've truly lost her respect, it might be impossible to get back. TideClan may still have a sour taste in their mouth for her after the ordeal at the shifted border, but Wisteria would defend her patrol's actions to this day. And she isn't the biggest fan of ScaleClan's... whole thing, but she's polite enough with their warriors- even the ones who insist on pushing her buttons.

🍂Petrel And Wild- does your character have a friend group? if so, who’s all in it? how does your character feel about each of them?

Petrelstalk doesn't have a very tight-knit friend group at the moment! She was very focused on her duties as an apprentice and young warrior and felt like that didn't leave her time to form real bonds. She's trying now, though! With the Storm passed, she's a little unsure of what there is for her to do anymore.

Wildspirit is a very friendly and flirty cat, but as the seasons have gone on, his position as a cleric has made it harder for him to form deeper bonds with his Clanmates and beyond. He considers Lambleap a good friend after their moons together keeping Lilyfire alive. In fact, he's been close with every BriarClan healer so far, though Firelight was one of his closest friends. His mate Sweetwillow is also his greatest friend and he's grateful for her powerful, gentle soul every day. And of course he still has his siblings, but they're family so they're stuck with him. <3

🏅- what is your character’s reputation within their clan? what about the other clans? is your character popular?

             Ravinewing is a looker within CanyonClan, but doesn’t have much standing beyond that. He tends to keep himself in the background by choice, since he hates having eyes on him, but he isn’t unpopular per se – he’s got plenty of friends. Mothflame, Hawktail, Olivebranch, maybe even Fernsky or Whispershriek to much smaller extents. He’s….middle of the road, popularity wise. As for the other clans, it’s highly likely all they know of him is his disowning of Beesting at the gathering – and how they feel about that is honestly lost to him, good or bad.

😻 - is your character insecure about their appearance or are they confident?

             Oh, what a conundrum…See, Ravine knows he’s a ten in CanyonClan, maybe even above that. A pelt dark as night, an angular and lithe build, he has it all. But, well, his…Uncanny resemblance to Beesting’s rival made itself known whenever his mother looked at him. No matter how much of a model he is, any long-lasting glance at him is just the same as the bewildered and bitter expression he’d been at the receiving end of for as long as he can remember.

🎨 - does your character have a unique skill that sets them apart from others?

             Maybe not wholly unique, but Pinespark focuses on distraction and disorientation in her fighting style. She knows she’s not the strongest out there, so she uses cunning, quick decisions to try to catch an opponent off guard. Not a very honest fighting style, but then, fights are hardly ever really fair.

🥀 - has your character lost someone important to them? if so, how do they deal with it? have they moved on?

             Bubblebee lost Anoleslip, his best friend, incredibly recently – a mere two moons ago. This is the only significant loss she’s had to face, even though she is a senior warrior, and she’s…not taking it well in the slightest. Between wearing The Matron’s skull as a fucked up trophy, blaming Tarponshine for TideClan’s suffering, and thinking nothing of his apprentice’s rather grievous actions, it’s clear Bubby’s grief has more than gotten the better of him. It’s consumed him, and he doesn’t know how to get out – if he even wants to.

♈️ - what zodiac sign would your character be? (and, if you wanna get crazy, what would their birth chart be like?)

             I don’t think we have an official timeline, so I’ll go off vibes. I think Spice Wish would be a Pisces!

☀️ - what are your character’s goals and what would they do to achieve them?

             Mellow Flame wants to be a warrior HoneyClan can be proud of. They…aren’t quite sure what that entails, seeing how peaceful life has been, relatively speaking. But they’ll take care of any problem that comes to their territory, even if it’s some big, scary, supernatural thing. It won’t get through them, that’s for certain!
