Headcanons: First Date + First Kiss (Part Two)

Headcanons for what I think the characters would do for a first date, and how I think the first kiss would go. - Part Two

-- Part One Here --

Pairings: Mickey "Fanboy" Garcia x Reader; Robert "Bob" Floyd x Reader; Natasha "Phoenix" Trace x Reader; and Javy "Coyote" Machado x Reader - All GN!Readers

Warnings: Kisses obviously, nothing else really.

Mickey "Fanboy" Garcia

First Date:

Mickey loves a good Drive-In Movie, and when he heard you say you'd never been to one, he knew that was him moment.

So he took the plunge and asked you on a date, already having it planned beforehand.

When you pulled into the drive-in theater, you were amazed as you had no idea there was a drive-in theater near where you lived.

It was a showing of the classic 'Grease'.

It was the only movie showing at the time, but it was fun, you both enjoyed it, singing along together.

After having popcorn and soda, you then ate burgers that were delivered to each car.

When the movie was over, you sat in the car until the credits were over, neither of you wanting the date to end.

Mickey took the longer route back to your house, so he could spend as much time with you as he could.

You noticed this of course, but said nothing. You figured out why he was doing it, and you wanted it as well.

He walked you to your door, and bid you good-night, asking if you wanted to hang out the next day as well. Not an official date, but you said yes of course.

First Kiss:

When you and Mickey hung-out the day after your first date, you went to a park, walking around together.

You ended up sitting in the grass, talking for a couple of hours and even cloud-gazing.

Eventually, though you didn't want too, you had to make your way home.

As you walked to meet each other earlier in the day, he walked you all the way home. He insisted really.

The longer you walked, the closer he seemed to get to you.

Your shoulders brushed together, and eventually your hands.

At one point, when your fingers brushed, his hand slipped into yours, wrapping around it.

You smiled bashfully at each other, and continued walking.

When you made it to your house, he slowed in his steps, still clutching your hand.

Stopping you turned to look at him, and you felt your heart palpitate at the way he was gazing at you.

Slowly, without speaking, he pulled you a bit closer to him.

Wordlessly, your eyes locked, before his flicked down to your lips.

Getting closer, his lips brushed gently over yours before he kissed you.

It started out slow and gently, then he pulled you flush against him, as he deepened the kiss.

When you eventually pulled away, you smiled gleefully at each other, heads pressed together, neither of you wanting to part.

But you had too, though you were both comforted by the thought that you would see each other again soon.

Robert "Bob" Floyd

First Date:

Bob had wanted to ask you on a date for a long time before he finally did. When he asked you, he was a bit flustered, but finally got it out. You thought it was adorable, and obviously said yes.

Bob decided to take you to an aquarium. He was afraid it would be seen as a bit "childish" for a date.

But the way your eyes lit up as you saw all the fish told him different, and he was glad he brought you.

He adored the way you would get excited for the various animals, especially when they got close to the glass.

It was honestly very hard for him to keep his eyes off of you. Your smile was amazing, and he loved that he had a hand in it.

You took your time making your way through the aquarium, taking turns naming some of the fish as well. Some after the other dagger squad members, some with just various fun names.

Eventually you got to the end of the aquarium and made your way into the gift shop.

You decided you were both going to buy the other something, and surprise them with it.

You got Bob a cute puffer fish key chain, that you said reminded you of him (in the best way) .

Bob got you a stuffed plushie of a stingray.

Once you finally made your way home, you kissed Bob on the cheek as a goodbye. He was obviously flustered because of it, which you found adorable.

First Kiss:

Your first kiss with Bob didn't come on the second date, but the third date, where the two of you went to a small music-night together at a local bar.

You sat close together the whole night, singing along and laughing together.

There was one point where he had his arm around your waist, and you locked eyes. There was obvious tension, but it was broken when a fight broke out nearby.

After the night was over, Bob took you home of course, and walked you to the door.

Just like the first and second date, you kissed him on the cheek. But when you pulled away, he didn't immedietely go to leave, but lingered for a moment with you as you talked.

While he told you how much he loved spending time with you (which you returned), he was not so sly in his glances at your lips.

You could tell he wanted to kiss you, but was slow to get to that point, afraid he would be moving too fast for you.

So you waited, not rushing him to leave, but lingering and smiling at him.

Eventually he got the hint that you were in no rush for him to leave, and he finally asked if he could kiss you.

You said yes obviously, and he slowly leaned in, lingering just an inch away for a moment as your noses brushed, before he kissed you.

It was gently, obviously shy at first, but only a moment later did his hands find your waist, as he deepened the kiss.

Some might be surprised to find Bob to be a good kisser, but you weren't at all.

Natasha "Phoenix" Trace

First Date:

When you agreed to go on a date with Natasha, you both decided to plan something to do. You would choose what to do first, she would choose what to do afterwards.

You decided to go to a nearby farmers-marker like festival you knew about, that she had never heard of

There was music, food, dancing, market shops, animals, etc.

You walked around enjoying everything you could.

You ate ice cream, but nothing else, as Natasha said her plan included food.

The two of you ended up dancing along in the middle of the market to the live band.

No one was in sync with each other, but the vibes and atmosphere were so enjoyable the two of you did nothing but smile and laugh the whole time.

After a few hours, when you both got hungry, the two of you made your way to Natasha's choice date.

Natasha thought thoroughly about what she wanted to do on your first date, wanting it to be unique, but fun.

So, she reached out to a family friend and rented a small boat, that supplied a built in grill.

You went out on the water, sitting around the grill cooking your food together.

The weather was perfect for the day, a light breeze, sunlight with the occasional cloud.

You were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins nearby, as well as some interesting fish that swam near the boat.

After making your way to shore, instead of the date being over, the two of you decided you didn't want to part just yet.

First Kiss:

After the boat ride, the two of you ended up walking around down town together.

You people-watched and window shopped, until the sky began to get darker.

Since you chose where you were going at first, you had driven, so you took her home.

You walked her to her gate, and the two of you lingered for a few moments, talking and saying your good nights.

The mutual tension was obvious, so when both your eyes seemed to flicker and linger on each others lips, you both smiled and stepped closer.

As you kissed, she grabbed the collar of your shirt/jacket, to hold you close, as you hands sat on her waist.

The kiss was gentle, and slow, and it sent shivers through you.

You parted with giddy smiles, and soft good nights, knowing you'd see each other the next day. And hopefully kiss again.

Javy "Coyote" Machado

First Date:

No boring dates allowed with Javy.

So when the two of you went to a giant arcade-like center, you were not surprised.

It was targeted more towards adults, with food and alcohol stalls, as well as things such as pool, bowling, axe throwing and even a "destruction room".

Both of you agreed these were not the best activities to do while drinking, so you just got some other drinks and food as you made your way from activity to activity.

You bet with each other almost every game, competitive, yet playful at the same time.

Javy won at pool, but you won at bowling.

When you got to axe throwing you were both equally as good and bad as each other.

While you once missed the board entirely, Javy ended up hitting the board at an angle that sent the axe flying back at the two of you. This was both terrifying and hilarious, and was the last throw of the game.

Javy is a bit cocky and playful, so when you two were clearly feeling the growing tension between the two of you, he took the opportunity to make a bet with you.

The destruction room was based on points, so whoever got the higher amount won.

If you won, Javy would take you out again all expenses paid by him (which he would offer to do either way, but he didn't say this). But if he won, he got to kiss you (you had every intention of letting him do so anyways, but this made it more fun)

First Kiss:

At the end of the destruction room, Javy won by just over 50 points.

He did not hide his cockiness at this, and only flirted even more as he stepped up to you at the end, his eyes clearly on your lips.

He teased you a bit, by lingering just a few inches away, while he made flirty comments.

Saying things like you lost on purpose, because you wanted him to kiss you.

Though you certainly did want him to kiss you, you didn't lose on purpose, though you weren't mad about it at all.

Shaking your head you gave him a "Would you shut up and kiss me already?"

To which he responded with a grin, before he pulled you close to him, initiating a rather passionate kiss.

He had wanted to kiss you for quite a while, so he did not hold back. His hand came up to your neck and face as he deepened the kiss.

Finally breaking away breathlessly, he smiled at you for a moment before kissing you again.

Eventually having to break away when another group was coming in, you left hand in hand.

This was not the last kiss of the date, but I'll let you decided what happened next.

BoB Headcanon: Could They Fix A Broken Cabinet?

A/N: Here, pls enjoy another obscure headcanon set that Literally Nobody asked for lol. A big thank you to @mccall-muffin for encouraging me to post it lol 💖

✿ Dick Winters: Will not only fix your cabinet but also IMPROVE your cabinet. Enjoy your new soft-close, freshly-painted cabinet. 🤌🏽

✿ Lewis Nixon: Absolutely Not. Nix knows when he’s beat. He Was Not raised for this & he knows that. Will gladly call someone else to fix it though!

✿ Carwood Lipton: Definitely could fix it (he has the knowledge & the skills) but doesn't trust himself to do it because he's afraid he'll mess it up (🥺) so he'll pay someone else to do it.

✿ Ronald Speirs: He’ll fix it! Won’t make a big deal of it though. Honestly would probably not even tell you he’s fixed it; you just walk in one day & it’s Done & you’re like “When did you do that?” & he’s like “Oh like a week ago”.

✿ Harry Welsh: Bound & Determined to fix it if it kills him. He will read Every book, watch Every show, Welshy is a man on a mission 😂 He is going to be your knight in shining armor even if he has to toil away at it for days & ends up cussing the thing black + blue before it's complete.

✿ Buck Compton: Will give it the ol’ college try (lol) but no guarantees. Will do his reading but still ends up freestyling it. 😂 Definitely not above calling someone if his attempt goes awry tho lol

✿ Don Malarkey: Sort of? It may not be perfect– like the hinges will probably squeak when it opens & it might be a little crooked maybe – but he worked all day on it & it’s Technically fixed.

✿ Joe Liebgott: Is convinced that he can fix it but will actually just fuck it up even more & then duct tape over it. It might be functional but it Will Not be pretty. Probably accidentally hammered his thumb once. Pls appreciate his efforts tho, he is Trying.

✿ George Luz: Will fix your cabinet super well! It’s gonna be in tip-top shape… You’re just gonna have to remind him to do it tho lol bc he’s kind of all over the place! (Also he whistles while he works; it’s kind of adorable).

✿ Eugene Roe: I'd like to believe he could but my heart just says no. Lowkey, it would probably frustrate him all to hell bc he can perform life-saving medical feats in the heat of battle but he can't fix a goddamn cabinet?? He's gonna call someone to fix it for y'all but he's gonna be So pissed about it.

✿ Joe Toye: Can definitely fix it. Very handy around the house but his true expertise is in cars! He could be a mechanic if he really wanted to. King of explaining Why It Makes That Noise in simple terms that Make Sense 🤌🏼

✿ Bill Guarnere: He'll fix it but it won't be in the way you expect. He's the type of person to put a book under a table leg to steady it, that sort of thing. But he is WAY too stubborn to ask for help so don't expect him to call anybody who can actually do it. He'll INSIST on doing it himself– it's a matter of pride at this point.

✿ Skip Muck: No way, not a clue. Might try to fix it but gets distracted halfway through like a puppy & abandons the project forever lol.

✿ Bull Randleman: Oh absolutely he can. Man was practically raised with a toolbox in hand. He likes to do little things like that for you around the house because he likes to feel useful.

✿ Shifty Powers: Definitely can. But like Speirs ^, won’t make a big deal out of it. He has immaculate focus, a steady hand, & seemingly limitless patience so he can fix pretty much anything.

✿ Babe Heffron: Purely a duct-tape-&-a-prayer man. "We don't gotta call anybody, I got it covered." No, Babe, you do not 😆

✿ Johnny Martin: Could probably fix it if he actually put his mind to it but doesn't want to. He simply Does Not Have The Patience. He gets frustrated one time & he's Done. Calls someone by the end of the first day 😂

✿ Frank Perconte: Doesn’t know how to fix it at the beginning but will try to figure it out. He may storm off a few times cussing the damn thing in frustration but he’ll get it done eventually.

✿ Floyd Talbert: Absolutely could. He + his brothers used to do all sorts of odd jobs & carpentry stuff back in Kokomo.

✿ David Webster: Nope! Wants to fix it so badly but is absolutely Hopeless when it comes to any sort of home renovation. Despite some of the more stubborn guys on this list, Web's not ashamed about calling somebody to fix it. He just kind of figures, "Well someone has to do it" & it is Clearly not going to be him.

✿ Skinny Sisk: Please for the love of God, Do Not Let This Man Near A Hammer. 😭 He will joke around with it like a dumbass & will probably just accidentally hurt himself or someone else.

Ok Bob with a special needs kid is the cutest shit..but imagine if it’s a single mom situation, he immediately does research on things and figures out all the official doctor recommended whatevers cause he wants to do everything right

Oh, you know he would! He’d be doing all the research to make sure he doesn’t mess anything up!

And she’d be so taken aback at first. She’s become so used to men seeing her child as an inconvenience and a burden, which has made dating virtually impossible because she’s not going to be with someone who thinks that way. But with Bob, she’s able to let all of her defenses down and trust that he actually loves her child and wants to be in both of their lives.

Individual Characters: George Luz, Joe Liebgott and Donald Malarkey. Notes: I'm sorry for taking so long, I hope the headcanons are good. <3

|| George Luz ||

– When he first met you he was pretty welcoming but the moment he knew you were their medic he was just: “Pfff, good luck.”

– You had to wish him good luck back because after all, Germans take a special price on radiomen.

– With that answer and also with your strength and kindness it didn't take long for him to fall in love with you.

– And that’s how the playful flirting starts.

– When you're checking his heartbeat it is always racing.

– "Don't worry, I just got from a marathon." he would say playfully with a softest smile, "You just stole my heart and I had to run to get it back."

– When you get to him he always says: "Hey! There's my Guardian Angel." with the most joyful smile.

– It's almost like he forgets all the pain.

– When he sees your hands shaking from all the shock he holds them and says: "It's alright kiddo, take it easy. You got this, hey.”

– He’s always there to put a smile back on your lips no matter what.

|| Joe Liebgott ||

– At first he’s a little hesitant in terms of you being in charge of saving lives and healing the men; It’s not personal, it just takes him a little to trust people, principally if the person has that responsibility in their hands.

– But those thoughts quickly go away by the reflection of your actions.

– Mostly when you were in charge of taking care of him when he got shot in the neck.

– I guess it was the “Florence Nightingale effect/syndrome” where the patient or their caretaker develops feelings for one another.

– Once he went to you saying that he got a paper cut.

– “I just can’t wait to get shot again to be taken care of by you doll.”

– In a matter of time he doesn’t trust anyone else to take care of him but you, even if he was badly wounded. (sorry Gene.)

– He's always there to protect from all the disgusting men who try to take advantage of your kindness as a medic.

– On the battlefield he always keeps an eye on you.

– He will call you out if you dare to run during heavy fire, principally if the person that you’re trying to save is already dead or is impossible to save.

|| Donald Malarkey ||

– He quickly wants to be friends with you, after all if he needs something you will be the one there for him.

– I’m not joking when I’m saying that he sees you as a hero; Don admires you so goddamn much.

– When you’re bandaging someone or carrying boxes and supplies he is always: "Please, let me help you."

– When you're struggling or crying he always brings you some tissues and says: "If you have to cry It's okay to cry, alright?"

– He always brings you some coffee or saves you a meal for when you are too busy to get it yourself.

– Loves when you change his bandages, he just can't take his eyes off of you.

– In battle he’s able to hide his wounds if he sees you’re too stressed or too busy taking care of other men.

– After what happened with Muck and Penkala you would find Don in your fox hole due to his anxiety and fear of losing you too.

– He loves when you press your hand on his cheek, he feels more grounded and just makes him relax and forget everything for a couple of seconds.

– He finds your hands the most beautiful and peaceful thing he has ever touched, even if they are full of blood, mud or tears. Doesn’t matter to him.

I saw someone mention in the tags the other day that there isn't enough Bob - Fanboy friendship posts and I have to agree!

Now I'm imagining Bob & Mickey having all kinds of debates.

Star Wars vs Star Trek Marvel vs DC Coke vs Pepsi sour candy vs sweet candy Reeses Pieces vs peanut butter M&Ms remakes/reboots vs originals physical books vs audiobooks/ebooks dogs vs cats pirates vs ninjas SEC vs Big Ten

Just all kinds of debates.

And Bob really doesn't care when it comes to most of these debates (except when it comes to the SEC vs Big Ten debate. Bob is a southern boy and the SEC is the superior college sports conference thank you very much and anyone who says otherwise is just wrong and he will defend it with his dying breath), he just loves to rile up his fellow WSO.

hi jay ✨ my brain thinks of dad!bob and kinda just whites out, but my biggest thought ab him is just how much time, care, energy, etc into anything his kid(s) felt passionate about.

like, kid comes home from school with a new favorite animal they learned about? bob is taking them to the store and buying all the books so they can both learn, getting them lil plushies or shirts or whatever with that animal, whatever they want! kid wants to play a sport he doesn’t know much about? he stays up all night to learn absolutely everything he can about it, then signs them up for said sport the next day! he knows how to paint nails, knows all the words to his kid’s favorite song even though he doesn’t like that kind of music, will sit through thirty minute infodump about his kid’s favorite video game — whatever!

bob just seems like he’d be so, so supportive of the people that he loves and he’d never want anyone to feel weird or misunderstood for their passions!

… i have no idea where all that came from, i just started typing and here we are oops 🤪

i absolutely love this and it makes me want to write headcanons on what each of the dagger squad's love languages are because i think this could be included in bob's for sure!!

he just has so much love and support for everyone he cares for and whatever he can do to support them, he will

i personally think bob swam in high school but besides that he isn't super into sports so if he has a son that wants to play football, you bet your ass bob is learning every little thing about football so they can talk about it together and he will be at every single game possible

i also think that another reason bob is so quiet is because he is a geek about things such as superheros and star wars and people gave him shit for it in high school (also why he was so excited talking to fanboy) so when someone has a passion he wants them to feel like they can talk about it as much as possible without feeling guilty.

that also got way out of hand and way off topic but i just love this idea for bob, let me infodump to you bob please

i like to bc that bob has a sister with special needs so he’s very knowledgeable in that area, and that makes him the perfect father for a child born with special needs. he is so tender and patient and loving. watching him take care of that child is truly a beautiful thing. he’s very involved, and would never dream of letting you do all the work by yourself. it’s a team effort to take care of your precious kiddo

Oh gosh, I love that! 🥺 Growing up with a sister with special needs allowed Bob to develop so much empathy and compassion from such a young age. Like you said, he’s so tender and patient and loving. It’s like his heart was made to love those who need that extra bit of care and attention 🫶🏻

And he’s such a hands on father! When it comes to raising the kids, you and Bob do everything together. It can be stressful with all the extra doctor’s appointments and specialists and therapies, but there’s no one else you’d want by your side than Bob Floyd. He’s your rock through it all, and watching him champion your child is all you could have ever hoped for and more ♥️
