Hi! I just found your game!! Wanted to ask what the general vibes of the relationships will be? The tropes or general flavor.... <3
Hi! I hope you’re enjoying the game so far!
I’m not very good with tropes, so I’ll try to give you a general vibe.
There’s definitely a power imbalance that might need to be addressed with all the ROs except for Berhane. Some are more sensitive to it than others.
Ajmal: It starts a little angsty. He’s very attached to his duty and is also very aware of the difference in status. Otherwise he’s very sweet and devoted and once the first hurdles are out if the way, that side of him will take over.
Zanetta: You can expect some subtle resistance at first. She knows that falling for the MC is not ideal. But you can expect her to deal with the complications of their relationship in a mature and healthy way, with a lot of communication. She’s very supportive in a relationship.
Felice: There’ll be quite a bit of angst in their route. They’re secretive and when the truth will come out, there might be some conflict. They also are the most distrustful of the RO so the building of the relationship will be slow and bumpy. But once their trust is won, they’re very loyal.
Armine: The chillest route lol. She’s straightforward, she knows what she wants, which makes the relationship pretty uncomplicated. Expects lits of hijinks, light-hearted scenes and MC learning to let loose with her.
Berhane: The war in Sarnah means that the relationship with them is very rocky to start with. I’d say it’s close to the enemies to lover trope. But once the tension eases, they address any issues straightforwardly and set up expectations and boundaries in a mature way, similar to Zanetta. They’re supportive as well, but with a firmer hand.

Sitem sayma!..
…ay-misali

The discovery of Herto Man, some of the earliest remains to be classified as Homo sapiens, were found in a groundbreaking excavation led by Dr. Berhane Asfaw, in Ethiopia's Afar Triangle.
The find unravelled some of the mysteries of our ancient ancestors. Dating back 160,000 years, the fossils present an intricate blend of ancient and modern traits that challenged the conventional story of human evolution.
The man-made cut marks found on these skulls offer a glimpse into the cognitive complexity of early Homo sapiens. Their tool-making prowess and butchering traditions helped rewrite the narrative of human survival. The collaborative efforts of international researchers reveal a mosaic in our evolutionary journey.

hi!! if its not a bother, i was wondering if you had any recommendations for older(second war or post war) wolfstar. i wanted to get into WS since its very popular and there are many fics but i dislike the idea that they dated at all pre PoA. you have such good taste in fics i thought i should ask!
hiii oh my gosh what a compliment, not a bother at all!!! gonna be brief because i really should not be doing this now want to get this answered timely-ish hahah:
some LLAL (lie low at lupin’s):
Like Tinder for Ghosts by montparnasse (8k, T)
Lie Low At Lupin's by shessocold (5k, unrated/i’d say M)
Come and Find Me—Lying in the Bed I Made by @femme--de--lettres (6k, T)
Hold On to Whatever You Find by fallovermelikestars (10k, E)
i can tell you the telling gets old by misandrywitch (6k, G)
AND other LLAL recs by the @wolfstarlibrarian! i get a ton of my recs from them honestly.
these are multi-era with a good amount of second war older wolfstar and so good i absolutely have to rec -
To Fill A Gap by berhanes (sqvalors) (8k, T)
watching stars collide by hydianway (17k, T)
Adagio by lupinely (6.5k, M)
I look at the world and I notice it's turning by kaydeefalls (10k, T) - wolfstar AND remadora, canon compliant, non linear vignettes, blended gorgeously.
*
have not read this one in its entirety, but i’m confident reccing @tracingpatternswrites’ OOTP canon compliant sirius POV fic The star and the moon (93k, M)
OOTP but canon divergence - if you’re open to it, @lunapwrites’ Louder Than Love absolutely sold me on remus/sirius/tonks. super obsessed with the worldbuilding and canon rewrites here - just cuz we’re Fixing or at least Addressing problematic canon elements doesn’t mean the characters have it easy! often the opposite!
*
post war everyone lives AU:
firstly @krethes’ Give Quarter to Old Men series - Fics that feature older Sirius and Remus, anywhere from late 30s to their 70s. - tons of incredible 🔥 smut, and lots of lovely growing-old-together HCs in the first two especially.
ALSO One to Speak, Another to Hear by seventymilestobabylon (60k, T) - one of my absolute top favorite wolfstar fics.
The Wizarding Wars are over, but the work of recovery has only begun. Remus Lupin is trying to find his place in an ever-changing world, and when he is invited to serve on a truth and reconciliation commission, he has to confront the truth that lives there—in the past and within himself.
in fact you know what, have a sneak peek of a totally self indulgent thing i might be working on hahahah
