Bad End Akira being a haunting would be fun to see again. I do love him messing with Goro who very much deserves to be haunted.

Lark loves her friends more than life itself. She already has a possessive streak and a crippling fear of abandonment. All it would take is one untimely death and suddenly Tzeentch’s whispers ring loud in her ears. Why wait for the next one to suffer when she could keep them all safe with her, forever?

My good friend EC surprised me by illustrating Moonlight, my tragic second entry in the Bad End AU for Something's Wrong with Sunny Day Jack. I, in turn, surprised her by posting the comic (with permission) over on AO3 after finding out that fan comics can be posted there too.
Please show EC lots and lots of love for his gorgeous art in the reviews, or on their twitter page, and maybe consider buying a commission!
Content Warning: This comic contains graphic depictions of body horror, psychological horror, trauma, grief, and implied death. Something's Wrong with Sunny Day Jack is an 18+ only fandom. This comic and the story in general is for Adults Only.
Read the comic here if you are prepared for a heart-breaking and horrifying read.

His gloved hand formed a soothing cage around hers as he said it, ' You're of the Source. Unlike these half-men here, you only stand to gain. '
But if she agreed, what would she become?

He lurks out there in the unknown, seeking those who are far from home, hoping to never let you return.

what would happen to nightmare(or dadmare idk) if anything bad happened to baby dream?
If he were to go missing, Nightmare would spend every day looking for him. Night after night... he'd search until his legs would give out from exhaustion.
Their lives aren't tied together, so if one of them were injured or disappeared, the other would be (soul-wise) unaffected. However...
Nightmare would be devastated.
Based on where he is in his character development, Nightmare would eventually go to the villagers and demand to see Dream, believing they took his brother from him. Endless nights of disappointment and abandonment would take a growing toll on his mind, leading him to be more defensive and anxious.
Though it is his instinct to set the village ablaze and torment every person there until an answer was spat out with blood at his feet, the nagging thought that his son brother could be still waiting for him prevents the bloodshed.
Balance-wise, you could say he grows stronger without the consistent buffer of positivity that Dream provides.
Given enough time... Nightmare gets so powerful that even the thought of him sends the townsfolk into a frenzy of panic and fear. His intense negativity and despair pollutes the world with a miasma of darkness, settling the timeline into an endless night. The only source of light would be the eye of the shining moon, that searches for a sunray. The villagers would go blind and then be driven mad, turning on one another and feeding Nightmare more.
(And, because I would never kill off Sunbeam, the little guy's probably wandering around wondering who turned off the sun. He just went off, got lost, and took a nap in the forest.)
