Story:

It started when Lilacbramble tried giving him the talk. Maybe if Hazelmask hadn’t interrupted her, things would’ve turned out differently.

But as things were, the poor queen-to-be was interrupted, and Loachkit had questions. Specifically questions about kits.

So, when Lilacbramble came for a checkup, he tried his very best to find out exactly what caused the little miracles! He tried to calm her, tried to reassure her that they had enough moss to stop the bleeding if she would just stop moving, but she didn’t listen!

So that wasn’t ideal.

Moons passed, and he grew into a kind, competent medicine cat, but he still didn’t understand kits! What was the process?

When Finfur had her litter, he tried to find out again, only realizing too late when poor Finfur was beyond saving.

He apologized the only way he could think of, and became the mentor of her last kit.

For a while, things were good. But then Hopereed announced during a routine checkup that she believed she would have a large litter of kits.

He tried to be gentle this time, giving her poppy seeds for the pain as he examined her, but, once again, that cursed blood stained his paws.

When he found out that his beloved apprentice, Shoretooth, was expecting, he ran away from the Clan for three moons to stop the twitching curiosity that already had caused three and some deaths.

Lyrebite being the first to see him when he returned was simple shitty luck for her.

Briarfreckle’s death could’ve been avoided, he supposed, had she not tripped over the herb stores, then laughed nervously when he asked for help cleaning them up.

Charredfalcon was the last, and, as he walked back to camp, he never saw the final blow coming for his head.

LotusClan Year 27

Newleaf

Mistshard returned to camp with a litter of 2 kits. They’re named Skipkit (male) and Luckykit (female). Mistshard refuses to talk about where they came from.

Brookpaw, Fennelpaw, Egretpaw, and Aspenpaw reach the age of six moons and are made apprentices. They are mentored by Elmclaw, Hatchfur, Stonestar, and Frostshine respectively.

Thistlekit escaped from camp to go explore, but was found and attacked by a rogue. Ospreywing was on a walk and saw this, helping Thistlekit escape. She asks Stonestar if she could mentor Thistlekit.

Ravendapple and Cherrythorn have been resistant to retiring, however at Stonestar’s insistence, they do.

Lightpaw and Icepaw are given their warrior names of Lightleap and Iceclaw.

Creekpaw, Ashenpaw, and Coalpaw are apprenticed to Oakstripe, Windleap, and Budflower respectively.

Greenleaf

The next moon, Turtlepaw and Troutpaw are apprenticed to Sleetstripe and Fernthistle respectively. Owlpaw has chosen to become a medicine cat apprentice, and is apprenticed to Patchbriar.

Fireclaw has received a prophecy, and she believes she is meant for something greater.

Foxpaw steps forward silently to receive her warrior name of Foxprance. Erminestripe and Apricotbloom do the same.

Cedarpaw and Thistlepaw are apprenticed to Spicewhisker and Ospreywing respectively.

Birchtail and Larchwing receive their warrior names.

Windleap has announced that she is expecting kits.

Sleetstripe admits he has feelings for Featherfade. However, Featherfade doesn’t feel the same way.

A rogue asks to join the Clan. She changed her name to Cloudshine to better fit in.

Leaf-fall

Pinepeak has decided to come out of retirement and use her skills as a mediator.

Jayshade has been looking forward to moons of rest as an elder, and retires peacefully.

Patchbriar watches as her kits receive their warrior names. They are named Brookrun, Fennelfluff, Egretleap, and Aspensprout respectively.

Skippaw and Luckypaw are apprenticed to Nettleclaw and Foxprance respectively.

Windleap and Addersight welcome a litter of three kits. They name them Ivykit (female), Mousekit (female), and Iciclekit (male).

Rookwing and Robinchaser decide to retire to the elders’ den. They’ve had a good life of serving the Clan, and now it’s time for them to rest.

The Clan cheers for their three new warriors: Creekrush, Ashenpelt, and Coalfur.

Newly named medicine cat Owlheart still feels like there’s much to learn, but is reassured by Patchbriar.

Turtletail and Troutclaw receive their warrior names.

A rogue brings their kit Torn to the Clan, stating he can no longer care for her. Addersight and Windleap take her in.

Leafbare

Salmontail wishes to join the elders.

Stonestar names Cedarpaw and Thistlepaw warriors. They are given the names Cedarstripe and Thistlepelt.

Bumblebuzz and Robinchaser discovered a single kit. They decide to adopt him. They name him Talonkit.

Iceclaw announces she is expecting kits.

Patchbriar and Oakstripe have become mates.

The Curse Of VenomClan - ClanGen - Moon 9 - 13

VenomClan, also known as The Cursed Clan, was founded by snakes and traitors, the darkness having seeped deep into their founding. However, many moons have passed and the Clan is not as it once was.

Hate no longer pours from them.

Despite this, VenomClan is cursed, thanks to their distant ancestors.

Every fifth kit dies before they are a moon old [aka I /kill them] and after a horrid winter that struck their numbers down, VenomClan is in need of new cats to the point that the survivors came together and agreed that they must allow new cats into their Clan.

Fluttersprout, Sunpaw, Tortoisespeckle, and Bluerunner find a nice place to sun themselves and it helps them have a more pleasant patrol in the end.

Tickstar, Jewel, Hop, and Splashstripe find a wounded cat on a border patrol. The stranger is brought back to camp to recover and eventually they join the camp.

The New Cat!

Bluethroat is a very pale brown molly with blue eyes and a brilliant blue collar. She is a senior and a charismatic feline.

Moon 12

Wigeonblaze and Bluerunner had four kits! The Curse comes for their first born.

Plumkit is a silver molly with medium fur and green eyes.

Sycamorekit is a pale gray and white marbled tabby tom with short fur and green eyes.

Berrykit is a silver and white tom with dark blue eyes and short fur.

Mantiskit is a white molly with patches of silver and dark blue eyes. Her fur is long.

Only three days after being born, Plumkit stops breathing in her sleep. The curse has taken her. However, since many more kits were born alongside her this moon, The Curse is only one kit away from reactivating [after Spikekit].

Hop and Splashstripe had one kit!

Spikekit is a pale gray and white smoke molly with dark blue eyes and medium fur. She was born shortly after Plumkit died.
