Do you have any hcs for Ariel's sisters?
Not a lot but I can give you a few!
Attina was married by the time of The Little Mermaid, to a member of the royal family of the Merroway Cove mer kingdom
The two other mer kids met by Melody besides the blonde boy are the kids of Adella (brunette girl) and Alana (Asian boy) respectively
Alana and Aquata are both sapphic
Andrina is asexual but not aromantic, in fact she had the reputation of the Romantic in the family
Arista is probably the most adventurous besides Ariel and likely snuck up to the surface as well a few times
(Bare in mind I keep the age order of the Prequel movie but nothing else, and bits of the TV show for characterization)

The Little Mermaid is a wonderful film, but Ariel’s sisters got short-changed. They help set up the concert problem, and Ariel mentions them when weighing whether or not to sign Ursula’s contract, and that’s pretty much all that’s done with them. Poking their heads out of the water at the end, they could just be random merfolk coming to watch the princess.
Which is to say, you could write them out of the story and it wouldn’t change much except that unrelated court singers would have to do the concert lead-in.
It’s probably due to time constraints, but we don’t see much evidence that Ariel is connected to them the way you would be if you grew up with sisters. The Ariel’s Beginning prequel remedies that, and deepens the effect of Ariel’s decisions in the original film.

I wished for live action The Little Mermaid, they dropped the animal sidekicks and gave the roles to Ariel's sisters.
Cuz imagine Under The Sea is a plea by her sisters to stay with them and how much of an ensemble piece it could have been.
Or having them specifically be the reason why Triton destroys Ariel's grotto and why Ariel feels like not only her father but her entire family rejected her before becoming human.
Or that on land, her sisters feel remorse for what Ariel had lost so they're the ones who sing Kiss The Girl and repair their relationship with their sister.
Disney's devotion to just recreating a movie instead of exploring different elements in a new medium is why people are so sick of them.

So I noticed something…
Triton’s daughters all seem to have had the same type…
That or Disney didn’t know how to design original boyfriends?
Either way did anyone else notice this?

I read the last three light novels for So I'm a Spider, So What? the other day after taking a break from it for awhile and now I'm sad about Ariel and Shiraori.
So I drew this, Ariel with one of Shiraori's mini-mes that were left behind.

The Little Mermaid 2023 Headcanon
In the new movie, mermaids have all different styles of tails, just like different fish do. In the same movie, Ariel's sisters are all of different races.
What if, rather than some of them being adopted or Triton fathering kids with multiple women, the human appearance of a mermaid just varies like their tails do?
That is, unlike human appearance, which is determined by what your parents and ancestors looked like, mermaid appearance is less set in stone. What a merbaby looks like is entirely arbitrary in comparison to human babies.
Mermaids are magical creatures, after all; it makes sense that their genes wouldn't work the same way as a non-magical creature's would.
