who do you think would rank higher reiner or bert? despite reiner being the most developed warrior i feel like bert is still the most popular one
I’m mixed since the popularity relies on ship appeal and reibert is one of the most popular. Just today there was plenty of fanarts about Reiner and Bertolt’s theater outfits and I feel like you can’t associate one without the other when it comes to side material. The day before, the two of them had bouquets dedicated for their voice actors. I feel like it’s going to be a close tie between the two.
About who might top the other, this is where the criteria you mentioned go in.
I feel like people find Bertolt more relatable compared to Reiner because of his insecurities and his portrayal of a hopeless youth. He also has a couple of side ships that could help: beruyumi, beruani, berujean, etc... Reiner has some sideships too but most of them are either unpopular despite their age, or recent but niche (Gallirei and Zekrei are only popular in certain spheres).
Hi! I’ve seen in reddit the results of a popularity poll held by AniPortal, not Bessatsu Shonen. The votes are from june 1st to june 15th, 2017. According to this, bertl is second, even above eren and erwin, and reiner is just 6th . Is this poll official?
That one was botted to death. You could see something wasn’t normal with the total number of votes and the number of votes per hour. At least the Erenbots put up a good fight, but the Bertbots prevailed. Of course, nobody could measure to the Levibots.

When this pandemic started, I decided to focus on my inner voice and capture my emotions into an art form. I was alone, no DP and no camera operator, just me, and some of my gears.
So I thought, how would I film myself and how to control the camera while I’m in front of it; I decided to use my old GoPro Fusion camera. It gave me the ability to control the footage and add motion to the camera afterwords. I placed the camera in front of a window to capture the interior and exterior at the same time. Then, I thought out the choreography and sat down on my beautiful sofa, pressed the record button on my phone and since then, I filmed myself doing the same choreography 70 times, over and over again.
I didn’t knew how often I should film it to capture every light condition, so I decided to film every 15 mins, which at a certain point can drive you crazy, doing the same movement that doesn’t make any sense from the first glance. It was quite challenging but I kept filming.
After a full 24 hour shoot of one man crew, I started to edit it and it took me almost a week to finish the main editing. Every frame was done manually, cut and tracked with the next frame and stitched by the movement of my character.
I wanted to give up several times and hated myself while I was shooting, but I knew that was an emotional rejection, and I need to finish my idea to show people how important it is to feel the power of now.
After I did the editing, my friend Ayan @aniports shared his new musical ideas with me. It sounded so nostalgic that it reminded me of the time when I was little, those moments when you don’t think about time and appreciate the pure feeling of the moment. I decided to use it in my video and it matched perfectly!
This is the first project that I’ve written, directed, acted, edited, and color graded by myself. I also decided to do it because of the limitations of our new reality. I turned 27 today and I want to wish everyone to live in the moment! Not in the past or the future but now, even if you are on lockdown at your place.
